Yes, this particular bit of history was always going to need to be rewritten when the Ukraine finally surrendered.

If the Ukraine would have just signed that deal in 2022, which was incredibly unfavorable to Russia, they would have more of their precious territory, saved a million lives, and not destroyed all those buildings. Half their population wouldn’t have left as refugees.

There was no benefit whatsoever to the war, and there never could have been a benefit to the war (at least for the Ukraine, the argument from the West was that it benefited them to drain Russian resources).

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rubbished claims that Boris Johnson scuppered a possible peace deal between Ukraine and Russia in spring 2022, calling them “illogical” in an interview with the Guardian.

“There were several approaches with ultimatums and I never gave my approval for it,” said Zelenskyy of Russian demands for ending its full-scale invasion.

He actually did.

He said he was going to do the deal and then Johnson flew in.

This is a matter of historical fact.

Johnson had nothing to do with his decision, said Zelenskyy, directly addressing the claims for the first time: “It doesn’t fit with logic; what was he supposed to be talking us out of?”

The then British prime minister made a surprise visit to Kyiv in April 2022, six weeks after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He walked through the streets of Kyiv with Zelenskyy and publicly affirmed British support for Ukraine.

The idea that Johnson also used the visit to ensure Ukraine did not sign a peace agreement with Russia first emerged in an article in the respected Ukrainska Pravda outlet in May 2022, which said that Ukrainian and Russian negotiators had agreed on a broad possible agreement after a meeting in Istanbul in late March.

A week later, Johnson arrived with a message that “Putin is a war criminal, he needs to be pressured, not negotiated with”, according to one of the outlet’s sources.

In November 2023, David Arakhamia, a member of Zelenskyy’s own negotiating team in Istanbul, appeared to lend the idea credence. “When we returned from Istanbul, Boris Johnson came to Kyiv and said that we would not sign anything with them at all, and let’s just fight,” he said in a November 2023 interview.

Russian sources seized on these words, ignoring another part of the interview in which Arakhamia had said the Ukrainian delegation had not planned to sign anything in any case. In an interview with Tucker Carlson last year, Putin brought up the story, claiming it showed the west had pushed Ukraine further into the war.

Ukrainian and Russian negotiators held several rounds of talks in Belarus and Turkey, but the conditions demanded by the Russians were always punishing, said Zelenskyy. “I said: ‘This cannot be. It violates the rights of our citizens, of the constitution. It would be a full betrayal. We will not submit to the ultimatums of Putin,’” Zelenskyy claimed.

Simon Shuster, a journalist who has written a biography of Zelenskyy, said he believed the Ukrainian president was serious in late March 2022 about trying to meet Putin and negotiate an end to the war based on a draft agreement reached in Istanbul.

It’s nice that Zelensky is taking the time to protect Boris Johnson and the British.

When this surrender becomes widely understood, he’s going to have a lot of his own problems to deal with.

Let’s work through the reasoning here. Let’s try and figure it.

Democracy values are not just elections, but free and fair elections. That means that a US-backed candidate, in league with the National Endowment for Democracy and USAID (CIA) must be allowed to run and if he doesn’t win it’s not a free and fair election. If a country is not a democracy, it is an enemy of the United States, and is therefore subject to sanctions and wars.

For example, the 2024 Russian election was not free and fair, because the neo-Nazi and cosmetics fraud artist Alexi Navalny, a CIA asset, was not allowed to run in the election. With a record 77% voter turnout, Putin won 88% of the vote, but that is meaningless. If Trump had been banned from running in the 2024 election, 77% of the population would have turned out to vote and 88% would have voted for Kamala Harris. But Trump was allowed to run even though he attacked our democracy worse than the Civil War because of our values, so only 59% of people turned out to vote, and only 48% voted for Kamala, because Alexi Navalny wasn’t on that ballot either.

However, if Russia wants you to have an election, and you cancel elections, you are doing democracy because Russia is against democracy, and therefore if they want you to have an election, they are using elections to prevent democracy.

It’s all very simple.

Holding a vote amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine would spell a disaster for Kiev for a large number of reasons ranging from popular disapproval to literally “losing” its Armed Forces, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky claimed this week.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for the Ukraine conflict, Keith Kellogg, stated that Washington would like to see Kiev holding presidential and parliamentary votes before the end of the year. Zelensky had previously suspended both elections indefinitely, citing the martial law.

Elections in Ukraine at a time like this would only benefit Russia, the Ukrainian leader claimed in an interview with the ITV News broadcaster. “The topic of elections has been brought up by Russians,” he stated.

In his interview, Zelensky still maintained that Russia only wanted to see elections in Ukraine to bring about “destabilization” to its neighbor. He also claimed that Ukrainians themselves do not want to any vote while he himself was “absolutely not afraid of them.” “During this war, our population is against elections, all people are against it,” he stated.

According to the Ukrainian leader, holding an election would require the Ukrainian government to lift martial law as no voting is allowed as long as one is in place. “If we suspend the martial law we will lose our army,” he said, adding that Kiev would not be able to make the troops stay on the frontlines otherwise.

He’s right. People hate elections. All of the people in the Ukraine are against elections, because they support Zelensky and his endless war to ethnically cleanse the Former Territory of the Eastern Ukraine, because they fear he would lose the election and it could amazing end this war which has helped the Ukraine so much.

It’s known well by Zelensky that all people in the country support him. So what would be the point of having an election, when he could lose and voters could overturn the will of the people?

Elections are straight out of the Kremlin playbook.

Last night, a sweet piece of ass with a tasty set of cans told Andy Reid to play straight out of the Kremlin playbook, and he was like “you got it, toots, now go ahead and wiggle that thang at me.” You saw how that turned out. Reflecting after the game, Reid paraphrased Sam Spade: “out of all the playbooks in all the cabinets in the world, she hands me the Kremlin playbook.” 

The Ukraine is one of the happiest places on earth, because they know what they are doing is right. Once they finally take back this rural territory that is inhabited by Russians, which none of the soldiers fighting in the war have ever been to or ever even thought about before the US government ordered them to start attacking it, they will each reach self-actualization and potentially even transcend to a higher level of existence and become beings of pure light.

A being of pure light, living on the astral plane, doesn’t need elections.

And yet, page 327 of the Kremlin playbook states: “Ethereal beings living on the astral plane should be allowed to vote if it’s the law in their country that elections need to be held regularly. This is even true if they are ruled by the Maitria.”


It is unknown if Volomondorogor Zelensky is the Maitreya, but many astrological signs indicate he probably is. Yet, on page 741 of the Kremlin playbook, it states, “Vladimir Zelensky is probably not the Maitreya.” The playbook provides no evidence for the baseless and controversial claim.

But yeah, I mean, yo dog, I buried the lede.

The real story here is that, as I predicted, Trump is demanding Zelensky hold elections. He obviously can’t win, and would lose by a massive margin which would serve as a referendum on the war, showing that no one in the Ukraine wants this to keep going, which would be a mandate for Trump to force the country to end the war.

Furthermore, Russia is actually stating a matter of fact that because Zelensky has no legal status as the leader of the Ukraine, him signing a peace agreement doesn’t mean anything. To be clear, Russia is not saying this because they care about elections or try to force countries to honor the values of democracy. What Putin is saying is that because under Ukrainian law, Zelensky is not actually a valid leader of the country, if he signed a peace treaty it could be ignored by a future Ukrainian government because, they could say, Zelensky had no legal standing upon which to sign such a treaty.

Russia has said that they will talk to him, of course, but they are saying that they want someone who is legally the leader of the Ukraine to sign the deal so it can’t be later thrown out. If Zelensky changed the country’s constitution to make him leader for life, I think Russia would be fine signing an agreement with him.

I think Trump should put a better deadline on this than “by the end of the year,” however. It’s February. No one wants this to keep going for months. It’s time to wrap it up.

Ukraine floated the idea of opening its critical minerals to investment by allies last autumn, as it presented a “victory plan” that sought to put it in the strongest position for talks and force Moscow to the table.

Zelenskiy said less than 20% of Ukraine’s mineral resources, including about half its rare earth deposits, were under Russian occupation.

Rare earths are important in the manufacture of high-performance magnets, electric motors and consumer electronics; Zelenskiy said Moscow could open those resources to its allies North Korea and Iran, both sworn U.S. enemies.

“We need to stop Putin and protect what we have – a very rich Dnipro region, central Ukraine,” he said.

Ukraine has rapidly retuned its foreign policy approach to align with the transactional world view set out by the new occupant of the White House, Ukraine’s most important ally.

But Zelenskiy emphasised that Kyiv was not proposing “giving away” its resources, but offering a mutually beneficial partnership to develop them jointly:

“The Americans helped the most, and therefore the Americans should earn the most. And they should have this priority, and they will. I would also like to talk about this with President Trump.”

Trump is probably going to take the resources, and then offer a reconstruction deal after the peace deal, which Zelensky can’t be a part of.

He now says he wants peace, and he’s willing to achieve it through talks.

If you believed the mainstream media narrative on all of this, then what is the reason he backed out of talks in early 2022, when he could have save his country from total destruction?

Now, his country is destroyed, most of the people left, something like a million people are dead, and he has less territory than he would have had if he’d just agreed to the 2022 terms.

Last month, Zelensky said the ban applies to all Ukrainian officials except himself, while the original 2022 decree only stated that negotiations are “impossible” without specifying any individuals or entities prohibited from engaging in them.

Last week, Putin reiterated Moscow’s position that Zelensky lacks the legitimacy to sign agreements, given that his presidential term expired in May 2024 and no constitutional mechanism exists to extend it. However, the Russian president said he is willing to send negotiators to talk to Zelensky if he is open to discussions.

“It’s possible to negotiate with anyone. However, due to his illegitimacy, [Zelensky] has no right to sign anything. If he wishes to participate in talks, I will deploy people who will conduct such negotiations,” Putin stated.

This is the biggest change in tone since he walked away from the 2022 talks, and it is the beginning of a surrender. We have to thank Trump for that (even if Trump only did it so he could save resources to use in the major Middle East war he announced yesterday).

It’s pretty funny he announced it on Piers Morgan of all places.

Piers has been on fire lately. His show is hilarious. He does full Jerry Springer style lunacy. I watched the “debate” between Kween Candace and Jordan Peterson’s slut daughter, and I just wished it had been in studio so they could pull each others hair.

The Zelensky interview was clearly not live, as he spoke in Russian, and there were translation breaks. But the translator was insanely bad, like a stuttering pubescent teenage boy.

The only outlet that would have been funnier for Zelensky to announce this on would have been The View.

But who knows. Maybe he was just high during the interview, and he’ll walk these statements back.

He’s a total psychopath who doesn’t afraid of anything, and he’s usually right about everything.

He went viral years ago for saying that the Ukraine is a fake country and the government just made up the concept of “Ukraine identity” to get people to agree to fight a war with Russia.

He was formerly the right-hand man of Zelensky.

I don’t know if he’s currently getting money from Moscow. Maybe so, maybe not. But either way, he’s positioning himself for some kind of high-level role in post-war Ukraine.

Is Trump just going to continue on with this?

The offer by the Ukrainian president comes three days after Donald Trump Jr, son of US president-elect Donald Trump, responded to the Los Angeles wildfires by appearing to blame Ukraine on social media. “Oh look of course the LA fire department donated a bunch of their supplies to Ukraine,” Trump Jr said in a post on X on 8 January.

I don’t think that is blaming the Ukriane for the fires. I also don’t believe that it appears that way.

If California is sending their supplies to the Ukraine, that is not the Ukraine’s fault.

I’m ready to blame those pigs for anything bad, but I can’t blame them for that and I don’t think DTJ was either…

If deployed, Ukrainian firefighters would join those sent by Canada and Mexico, who have already converged on the Los Angeles area to help fire departments from around the state, even as Trump has threatened to levy tariffs against both countries.

Jeez.

This anti-Trump stuff in this Guardian article (which is not an op-ed) is 2016 levels. I’ll bet it’s written by a woman.

The wildfires have reduced entire Los Angeles neighbourhoods to ash, killing at least 16 people, and forcing more than 150,000 to evacuate. The governor of California, Gavin Newsom, said the fires could be the most devastating natural disaster in US history.

Strengthening winds threaten to expand the swath of destruction through Los Angeles in the coming days.

In Bizarro World, Batman is the world’s worst detective. His name is “Batzarro.”

Just so, Lex Fridman is the Bizarro World version of Joe Rogan. Lex Fridman is the world’s worst podcaster. He started his show based entirely on the Rogan model, and got popular purely as a result of Jewish nepotism.

You can say what you want about Joe Rogan. I have some negative things to say about him. But he has a good podcast. He has all of the traits of a good podcaster: he’s friendly, well-informed, charismatic, good at talking to people, curious and interested in things. Joe is the kind of guy that anyone would feel comfortable talking to, and this comes out in his interviews, as he gets the most interesting conversations out of people. Fridman is the opposite of all of that.

But Lex and Volognomdomor Zielinseyyyieyy are cousins, so the Ukrainian dictator did his big Western media interview with Bizarre Joe Rogan instead of the normal world’s Joe Rogan.

This is hilarious. These ratty, smelly-looking Jews are both like 4’9″. They both wear lifts, but they can’t lift on each other.

The show was horrible. As horrible as you can imagine.

I didn’t watch the whole thing, because who has time for that, but several people did watch it, apparently, and it’s clear that Lex agreed beforehand not to ask any questions about the war which were not pre-scripted.

In the clips, you can see Zelensky saying ridiculous, nonsense things, and Lex doesn’t push back.

Zelensky said that Putin was planning to invade and conquer all of Europe.

I would think even like, a CNN host would push back on that. No one anywhere thinks that. Certainly, podcast audiences tend to be better informed than TV-watchers, and I think even Ukraine-supporters (trannies, neo-Nazis) know this isn’t true. They’ll say Putin will invade Poland, maybe, but to say he’s going to “destroy Europe” is like a parody of hysterical trannies.

Zelensky took the opportunity of the interview to call for Ukraine to be allowed in NATO.

He admitted that Trump would have to support him, because European allies don’t have the military to defend the Ukraine. Lex of course did not ask why, if Putin is getting ready to conquer Europe and Europeans can’t fight him, they are not doing mass conscription and building up a huge military to repel the Russian invasion. It seems like even a very stupid person would be asking that question in his head, but Lex pretends as though he didn’t think of it. (Maybe he didn’t, he does appear uniquely dumb. But that further shows how ridiculous it is that Zelensky appeared on his show instead of with Joe or Tucker Carlson.)

Lex did ask if “Ukraine people” could simply forgive Russia.

Zelensky responded by claiming that Russians were ripping the heads off of babies and no one could ever be forgiven for such an action.

Obviously, this is part of an attempt by Zelensky’s people to get some kind of inroads into Western internet culture as they are trying to cozy up to Donald Trump. But the handlers are too uptight. He could have done a normal interview with Joe Rogan, without a translator (his English is fine, frankly, but they used dubbing for the most of the show because Lex speaks Russian). Even if Joe would have pressed him on some of the issues, it would come off better than this garbage, which should, frankly, destroy Lex’ career. This is an abomination, to present this fake interview, a propaganda piece for the war, as real internet journalism.

No one is going to take this seriously.

Maybe Donald Trump will continue to support the war. He has definitely wobbled bigly on the issue. But Zelensky is not making that any easier. There is a certain level of lies you can get away with, but telling people on the internet that Russia is going to march on Paris is beyond that level. Zelensky looks much worse for having done this stupid fake interview.
