The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has become the first major association of medical professionals to break with the American medical establishment’s consensus that gender transitions for children are appropriate for treating gender dysphoria.

According to a report released Monday by the Manhattan Institute, ASPS acknowledged “considerable uncertainty as to the long-term efficacy for the use of chest and genital surgical interventions” and “the existing evidence base is viewed as low quality/low certainty.”

It sucks for all those dumb bitches that cut their tits off.

ASPS is a professional organization that represents 90%, or roughly 11,000 members, of plastic surgeons in the United States and Canada, and it told pediatric gender medicine expert Leor Sapir that it has not endorsed the medical consensus claimed by much of the American medical establishment.


A lot of these were done to girls aged 12 or younger

Often, that consensus is presented by activist doctors and special interest groups as an insurmountable display of evidence that gender transitions for children are not only justifiable but safe and effective. A large and growing body of evidence suggests the opposite.

That consensus was eroded further recently by the fact that the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, or WPATH, which writes the standards of care for gender transitions, was caught admitting that many of the transition interventions once claimed to be “reversible” are in fact not and may cause long-term problems. The group was also caught manipulating scientific research in order to justify their claims.

“Those pushing for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgery on minors have grossly oversimplified something which is incredibly complex and poorly understood as though this is ‘settled science,’” said Dr. Richard Bosshardt, a board-certified plastic surgeon, ASPS member, and senior fellow at medical advocacy group Do No Harm. “Plastic surgeons understand better than any other specialist the unique and daunting challenges of transexual surgery. Even in the best of hands and under ideal circumstances these are among the most complex and challenging surgeries.”

A Nebraska woman who had her breasts removed at 16 has sued University of Nebraska Medical Center doctors for malpractice, saying she and her parents were manipulated into gender-transition medical treatments that “robbed her of her womanhood.”

Luka Hein, 21, said she underwent a double mastectomy in 2018 after just two counseling sessions as part of a “gender-affirming care” process without being fully informed of the risks in violation of the Nebraska Consumer Protection Act.

“UNMC doctors manipulated Luka and her parents into believing surgery was the only solution to her complicated mental health, implying that Luka would take her own life if her breasts weren’t removed,” said Harmeet K. Dhillon, CEO of the Center for American Liberty, which filed the lawsuit.

Ms. Hein and her parents agreed to the surgery, but Ms. Dhillon argued that under the law, “consent to a medical procedure must be both fully informed and freely given.”

She should also sue her parents while she’s at it.

Or at least her mom, since there’s a 99% chance she’s the one that nagged dad into agreeing.

The complaint filed Wednesday in Douglas County District Court in Omaha seeks damages for negligence and lack of informed consent from UNMC Physicians, Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Medicine, three doctors and a therapist.

A spokesperson for Nebraska Medicine said that it will not comment on pending litigation.

Ms. Hein, who no longer identifies as a man, becomes at least the fourth detransitioner this year to file lawsuits against gender-transition clinics and doctors for medical treatment they received as teens aimed at changing them from female to male.

Took her a while to realize chopping your tits off is a bad idea

Ms. Hein was struggling with depression and anxiety after her parents divorced, then was preyed upon and threatened by an older man online. She became uncomfortable with her changing body after starting menstruation. She began counseling and taking antipsychotic medication.

During a 2017 counseling session, a therapist diagnosed her with gender dysphoria after a 55-minute session. A few months later, the therapist referred her to a gender clinic for “top surgery,” or breast removal, according to the complaint.

“I was going through the darkest and most chaotic time in my life, and instead of being given the help I needed, these doctors affirmed that chaos into reality,” said Ms. Hein in a statement. “I was talked into medical intervention that I could not fully understand the long-term impacts and consequences of.”

On her first visit to the gender clinic, the doctors “put Luka on the fast track for breast removal surgery,” the lawsuit said.

One of the doctors noted after the first visit: “Typically, we would wait until the patient is a little bit older, but this would be influenced by the potential negative impact psychologically on the patient by prolonging the transition,” according to the complaint.

She was placed on testosterone after the surgery, but the lawsuit said that by “rushing Luka to surgery without first placing her on hormone treatments for at least one year, Defendants violated even the pro-transgender World Professional Association for Transgender Health (“WPATH”) standard of care for breast removal surgery.”

Ms. Hein went off testosterone in late 2022 after experiencing “heart irregularities, aching joints and pelvic pain.” In January, she told the clinic that she no longer identified as a man and thought she had been too young to consent to the gender-transition treatment she received as a minor.

“Rather than offering any type of medical assistance, [the doctor] replied, ‘I guess this is just part of your gender journey,’” said the complaint. “Her only recommendation was for Luka to seek mental health counseling.”

Nebraska malpractice attorney Jeff Downing said that “I don’t think most Nebraskans have any idea what the Med Center is doing to gender confused kids under the banner of our great university.”

He and attorneys from the Center for American Liberty filed the lawsuit along with attorneys from the Thomas More Society.

Nebraska of all places.

The U.S. is more lenient than any European country when it comes to allowing children to access medical services for gender transitions, according to a new study.

The study, published by Do No Harm, a group that seeks to insulate the health care profession from “radical, diverse and discriminatory ideology,” analyzed the laws of European countries and concluded “the United States is the most permissive country when it comes to the legal and medical gender transition of children.” Laws vary in the U.S. by state, but overall, transgender youth in America have greater access to gender clinics, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries, in some cases without parental consent.

Dr. William Malone, a board-certified endocrinologist, said the U.S. political environment discourages doctors from critiquing the use of unproven and risky medical interventions in youth because they fear backlash from influential medical associations and politicians.

“We are dealing with what may be the biggest medical and ethical scandal of modern times,” Malone told Fox News Digital. “Transgender medicine is big business, and youth who are transitioning today will be medical patients for life, for the next 60-plus years. Mental health among youth is at an all-time low, making them particularly vulnerable to solutions that suggest an ‘easy fix.’”

The Biden administration has declared gender-affirming treatment to minors to be “life-saving care,” while some Republican-led states that have tried to limit access face legal challenges to those decisions. Meanwhile, several European countries have backtracked on the accessibility of transgender treatments for minors, the study notes.

Malone said the Biden administration’s approach to transgender medicine issues “does not make sense,” adding invasive treatments should not be promoted until they’ve been proven to help more than harm.

“We have jumped to hormones and surgery bypassing the most obvious alternative — therapy,” Malone said. “We need to take a step back and study these various interventions before we can determine the best way forward. This is just what Sweden, Finland and England have done, and we hope the U.S. will follow suit.”

The Biden administration has promoted puberty blocker and cross-gender hormone treatment drugs for transgender children even as it spent roughly $17 million on studies to analyze the dangers and uncertainties of the drugs from 2021 to 2022 through the National Institutes of Health. These dangers include the possibility of increased cardiovascular risks, weakened ability to fight sexually transmitted infections and infertility.

Moti Gorin, a bioethicist at Colorado State University, said transgender policy has become too politicized in the U.S. and that legislators should join European countries as they backtrack on treatments for transgender youth to better study the impacts.

“It is very unusual in medicine to see such substantial international differences among wealthy countries in the approach their medical authorities take to treating patients,” Gorin told Fox News Digital. “While major American medical organizations assert that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones are safe and effective for treating gender dysphoric youth, some of these European countries, all of which have a more progressive climate for LGBT+ people, have taken a closer look at the evidence.

“And they have come to a different conclusion. From an ethical standpoint, this is troubling because both approaches cannot be correct, which means some, perhaps many, of these vulnerable patients are not getting the right kind of care.”

Several U.S. states restrict minor access to transgender surgeries. More liberal states follow WPATH recommendations, which suggest surgeries can be conducted on transgender youth beginning at age 15. Surgeries for 12-year-olds have been documented in the U.S.

Nearly all European countries prohibit surgeries on transgender youth without parental consent because of their nationalized health care systems, which do not allow any surgeries without parental consent.

The U.S. has more than 60 pediatric gender clinics and 300 clinics that offer transgender treatments to minors, a sharp contrast to European nations, most of which have only one to three options for transgender youth.

Regret “is there, and I don’t think that surprises any of us,” a pediatric endocrinologist remarked in reference to child transitions in a video obtained by Project Veritas.

Dr. Daniel Metzger made a number of startling admissions in a talk to the World Professional Health Organization (WPATH), which creates widely used standards of care that are followed by hospitals across the country.

“It’s always a good theory that you talk about fertility preservation with a 14-year-old, but I know I’m talking to a blank wall,” remarked Metzger, a pediatric endocrinologist at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital.

Metzger also commented on the regret of patients, saying, “It doesn’t surprise me, but I don’t know what to do for the 14-year-olds.”

“We try to talk about it, but most of the kids are nowhere in any kind of brain space to really, really, really talk about it in a serious way,” Metzger added.

One woman who regrets her decision to attempt to transition spoke with reporter Lauren Southern, telling her about the pain and suffering that comes from attempting to transition. She told Southern that when she realized she made a mistake “It was a really dark place, the one thought was ‘it’s too late to go back.”

According to their website, the British Columbia Children’s Hospital “provides treatment with puberty blockers and/or gender-affirming hormones for transgender and gender-questioning youth.”

The hospital also boasts that they “have one of the busiest clinics in North America,” in reference to their gender clinic.

The news comes as the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Children’s Hospital Association called on the Department of Justice to “investigate and prosecute” reporters and commentators who oppose the campaign to normalize child transgenderism.

This news story really reminds me of that Limp Bizcut song “The Nookie.” It reminds me of that because Fred Durst looks like a f-to-m tranny. He’s like a stereotype of that sort of person.

The leading trade group for transgender surgeons and doctors is lowering its approved ages for sex-change surgeries and sex-shifting hormones, according to a draft recommendation.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s (WPATH) new guidance lowers the recommended age for cross-sex hormones from 16 to 14 years, according to a guidance draft obtained by The Post Millennial this week. The age for double mastectomies, the removal of breasts, has been lowered to 15. Sixteen-year-old boys may seek breast augmentations, facial surgeries and tracheal shaves to reduce the appearance of an Adam’s apple.

The new guidance also lowers the age for genital surgeries, like hysterectomy and vaginoplasty, to 17 instead of 18. The only surgery recommended for adults age 18 is a phalloplasty, which “is the creation of a pseudopenis from skin grafts taken from elsewhere in the body,” the report states.

WPATH’s off-label puberty blocker recommendation stayed at ages 8-13 for girls and is roughly two years later for boys.

The guidance will be WPATH’s eighth edition. As The Post Millennial notes, WPATH “sets international guidelines and protocols for the medical process of gender transition.” According to the report:

Although the new guidelines have not been finalized and released, many medical organizations are already abiding by them. Boston Children’s Hospital, whose pediatric surgery center boasts of treating over 1,000 families, explicitly cites their implementation of WPATH guidelines.

Boston Children’s Hospital allows minors aged 17 to obtain vaginoplasty, per the new WPATH guidelines. Dr. Oren Ganor, co-director of Boston Children’s Center for Gender Surgery, hinted in an email that children even younger can be operated on. Ganor said in an email to WBUR that he is “slightly flexible” when it comes to the age of young males seeking genital surgery.

The organization provided the Associated Press a copy of its draft guidance in June, the chair of the group’s standards of care telling the publication that lowering the ages “allows transgender teens to experience physical puberty changes around the same time as other teens.”

WPATH and other pro-transgender organizations, like the Endocrine Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), are being cited as experts by large hospitals, Democrats, and the Biden administration, which wants to deliver the drugs to troubled children.

These groups claim “gender-affirming care” — a far-left euphemism intended to make the mutilation of children sound like a compassionate course of action — reduces suicides and improves mental health. But these treatments are not approved for those purposes by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and have not undergone any longterm studies.

While the push toward transgenderism is heavily ideological, a report released in December 2020 found that U.S. sex reassignment surgery market size was valued at $267 million in 2019 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 14.4 percent from 2020 to 2027.

They have already said they want to start mutilating the genitals of pre-pubescent children. This is all real. It’s all happening. They are going to mutilate most children’s genitals.

A leading transgender health association has lowered its recommended minimum age for starting gender transition treatment, including sex hormones and surgeries.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health said hormones could be started at age 14, two years earlier than the group’s previous advice, and some surgeries done at age 15 or 17, a year or so earlier than previous guidance. The group acknowledged potential risks but said it is unethical and harmful to withhold early treatment.

The association provided The Associated Press with an advance copy of its update ahead of publication in a medical journal, expected later this year. The international group promotes evidence-based standards of care and includes more than 3,000 doctors, social scientists and others involved in transgender health issues.

The update is based on expert opinion and a review of scientific evidence on the benefits and harms of transgender medical treatment in teens whose gender identity doesn’t match the sex they were assigned at birth, the group said. Such evidence is limited but has grown in the last decade, the group said, with studies suggesting the treatments can improve psychological well-being and reduce suicidal behavior.

Starting treatment earlier allows transgender teens to experience physical puberty changes around the same time as other teens, said Dr. Eli Coleman, chair of the group’s standards of care and director of the University of Minnesota Medical School’s human sexuality program.

But he stressed that age is just one factor to be weighed. Emotional maturity, parents’ consent, longstanding gender discomfort and a careful psychological evaluation are among the others.

“Certainly there are adolescents that do not have the emotional or cognitive maturity to make an informed decision,” he said. “That is why we recommend a careful multidisciplinary assessment.”

The updated guidelines include recommendations for treatment in adults, but the teen guidance is bound to get more attention. It comes amid a surge in kids referred to clinics offering transgender medical treatment, along with new efforts to prevent or restrict the treatment.

Many experts say more kids are seeking such treatment because gender-questioning children are more aware of their medical options and facing less stigma.

Critics, including some from within the transgender treatment community, say some clinics are too quick to offer irreversible treatment to kids who would otherwise outgrow their gender-questioning.

Psychologist Erica Anderson resigned her post as a board member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health last year after voicing concerns about “sloppy” treatment given to kids without adequate counseling.

She is still a group member and supports the updated guidelines, which emphasize comprehensive assessments before treatment. But she says dozens of families have told her that doesn’t always happen.

“They tell me horror stories. They tell me, ‘Our child had 20 minutes with the doctor’” before being offered hormones, she said. “The parents leave with their hair on fire.”

Estimates on the number of transgender youth and adults worldwide vary, partly because of different definitions. The association’s new guidelines say data from mostly Western countries suggest a range of between a fraction of a percent in adults to up to 8% in kids.

Anderson said she’s heard recent estimates suggesting the rate in kids is as high as 1 in 5 — which she strongly disputes. That number likely reflects gender-questioning kids who aren’t good candidates for lifelong medical treatment or permanent physical changes, she said.

Still, Anderson said she condemns politicians who want to punish parents for allowing their kids to receive transgender treatment and those who say treatment should be banned for those under age 18.

“That’s just absolutely cruel,” she said.

Dr. Marci Bowers, the transgender health group’s president-elect, also has raised concerns about hasty treatment, but she acknowledged the frustration of people who have been “forced to jump through arbitrary hoops and barriers to treatment by gatekeepers … and subjected to scrutiny that is not applied to another medical diagnosis.”

Gabe Poulos, 22, had breast removal surgery at age 16 and has been on sex hormones for seven years. The Asheville, North Carolina, resident struggled miserably with gender discomfort before his treatment.

Poulos said he’s glad he was able to get treatment at a young age.

“Transitioning under the roof with your parents so they can go through it with you, that’s really beneficial,” he said. “I’m so much happier now.’’

In South Carolina, where a proposed law would ban transgender treatments for kids under age 18, Eli Bundy has been waiting to get breast removal surgery since age 15. Now 18, Bundy just graduated from high school and is planning to have surgery before college.

Bundy, who identifies as nonbinary, supports easing limits on transgender medical care for kids.

“Those decisions are best made by patients and patient families and medical professionals,” they said. “It definitely makes sense for there to be fewer restrictions, because then kids and physicians can figure it out together.’’

Dr. Julia Mason, an Oregon pediatrician who has raised concerns about the increasing numbers of youngsters who are getting transgender treatment, said too many in the field are jumping the gun. She argues there isn’t strong evidence in favor of transgender medical treatment for kids.

“In medicine … the treatment has to be proven safe and effective before we can start recommending it,” Mason said.

Experts say the most rigorous research — studies comparing treated kids with outcomes in untreated kids — would be unethical and psychologically harmful to the untreated group.

The new guidelines include starting medication called puberty blockers in the early stages of puberty, which for girls is around ages 8 to 13 and typically two years later for boys. That’s no change from the group’s previous guidance. The drugs delay puberty and give kids time to decide about additional treatment; their effects end when the medication is stopped.

This is such a brazen lie, I can’t even.

Puberty blockers are irreversible, and you don’t even need anything other than common sense and some minimum of knowledge of human anatomy to understand that.

The blockers can weaken bones, and starting them too young in children assigned males at birth might impair sexual function in adulthood, although long-term evidence is lacking.

The update also recommends:

—Sex hormones — estrogen or testosterone — starting at age 14. This is often lifelong treatment. Long-term risks may include infertility and weight gain, along with strokes in trans women and high blood pressure in trans men, the guidelines say.

—Breast removal for trans boys at age 15. Previous guidance suggested this could be done at least a year after hormones, around age 17, although a specific minimum ag wasn’t listed.

—Most genital surgeries starting at age 17, including womb and testicle removal, a year earlier than previous guidance.

The Endocrine Society, another group that offers guidance on transgender treatment, generally recommends starting a year or two later, although it recently moved to start updating its own guidelines. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association support allowing kids to seek transgender medical treatment, but they don’t offer age-specific guidance.

Recently, some tweets from a guy who, shockingly, regrets getting his dick cut off went viral after Fuhreress Rowling retweeted it.

I wanted to post those, but Twitter deleted them because… well, you know why.

I want to tell everyone what they took from us, what irreversible really means, and what that reality looks like for us. No one told me any of what I’m going to tell you now.

I have no sensation in my crotch region at all. You could stab me with a knife and I wouldn’t know. The entire area is numb, like it’s shell shocked and unable to comprehend what happened, even 4 years on. I tore a sutra 4 days post recovery, they promised to address it, i begged them in emails to fix it, they scorned me instead. Years later, I have what looks like a chunk of missing flesh next to my neo-vagina, it literally looks like someone hacked at me. They still wont fix it.

No one told me that the base area of your penis is left, it can’t be removed – meaning you’re left with a literal stump inside that twitches. When you take Testosterone and your libido returns, you wake up with morning wood, without the tree. I wish this was a joke. And if you do take testosterone after being post op, you run the risk of internal hair in the neo-vagina. Imagine dealing with internal hair growth after everything? What a choice… be healthy on Testosterone and a freak, or remain a sexless eunuch.

And thats something that will never come back and one of the reason why i got surgery. My sex drive died about 6 months on HRT and at the time I was glad to be rid of it, but now 10 years later, Im realising what im missing out on and what I won’t get back. Because even if i had a sex drive, my neo vagina is so narrow and small, i wouldn’t even be able to have sex if i wanted too. And when I do use a small dilator, I have random pockets of sensation that only seem to pick up pain, rather than pleasure.

Any pleasure I do get comes from the Prostate that was moved forward and wrapped in glands from the penis, meaning anal sex isnt possible and can risk further damage. Then theres the dreams. I dream often, that I have both sets of genitals, in the dream I’m distressed I have both, why both I think? I tell myself to wake up because I know its just a dream. And I awaken into a living nightmare.

In those moments of amnesia as I would wake, I would reach down to my crotch area expecting something that was there for 3 decades, and it’s not.  My heart skips a beat, every single damn time. Then theres the act of going to the toilet. It takes me about 10 minutes to empty my bladder, it’s extremely slow, painful and because it dribbles no matter how much i relax, it will then just go all over that entire area, leaving me soaken. So after cleaning myself up, I will find moments later that my underwear is wet – no matter how much I wiped, it slowly drips out for the best part of an hour. I never knew at 35 I ran the risk like smelling like piss everywhere I went.

Now i get to the point where im detransitioned and the realisation that this is permanent is catching up with me. During transition, I was obsessive and deeply unwell, I cannot believe they were allowed to do this to me, even after all the red flags. I wasn’t even asked if I wanted to freeze sperm or want kids. In my obsessive, deeply unwell state they just nodded along and didnt tell me the realities, what life would be like. And finally, theres dilation, which is like some sort of demonic ceremony where you impale yourself for 20 agonising minutes to remind you of your own stupidity. This isn’t even the half of it. And this isn’t regret either, this is grief and anger. F**k everyone who let this happen.
