I’ll be this dickhead is wishing seppuku was a part of Korean culture right about now.

Ritual suicide to preserve the honor of one’s family has never been more appropriate than right here.

What a total disgrace.

The Guardian:

South Korea’s impeached president, Yoon Suk Yeol, has been arrested and is to undergo questioning over his ill-fated declaration of martial law last month, anti-corruption investigators said on Wednesday, bringing to an end an early-morning standoff outside his official residence in Seoul.

Yoon remained defiant, however, saying he had agreed to cooperate with anti-corruption authorities to “avoid bloodshed” after the latest chapter in a saga that has rocked South Korean politics and triggered concern among its allies. Yoon said the rule of law had “completely collapsed” after his detention.

“President Yoon has decided to personally appear at the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) today,” his lawyer Seok Dong-hyeon said on Facebook, adding that the impeached leader would also make a speech. But investigators announced shortly after that Yoon had been arrested.

Reports said a convoy of vehicles, one of which was presumably carrying Yoon, had left the presidential residence and later arrived at the offices of the anti-corruption agency heading the probe. His detention makes him the first sitting president in the nation’s history to be arrested.

Mind you, most of the presidents have been utterly corrupt members of bizarre cults.

Investigators had entered Yoon’s residence early on Wednesday in a fresh attempt to execute a warrant for his arrest over allegations that his declaration of martial law amounted to insurrection – a crime that can come with life imprisonment or even the death penalty.

Streets around the compound were sealed off with police buses and thousands of officers were present.

But crowds of Yoon supporters, most of them elderly, were gathered near the residence gates and around makeshift stages hosting speeches describing the arrest warrant “fake” and calling for the arrest of opposition leader Lee Jae-myung.

Braving the freezing early morning, many held up red light sticks, US flags and banners in both Korean and English, including “Stop the steal” and “CCP out”, embracing unfounded claims of electoral manipulation and alleged Chinese interference – despite the fact that no major election observers or courts have raised concerns about last April’s parliamentary vote that saw the opposition secure a decisive victory.

Nearby, a smaller group of pro-impeachment protesters, kept apart from Yoon’s supporters by a police cordon, was chanting “Enter! Enter! Arrest him!”

These Koreans are completely mind-fucked.

The US are the good guys?

The people who did this to your boys:

They’re the good guys?

They’re your friends, trying to help you… fight the Chinese leftists?

It’s a complicated history, but if you want to see what a country looks like when the US invades your country and then communists win, maybe go check out Vietnam.

It’s a really nice country and it doesn’t have these social issues. Their birthrate isn’t great, but it’s three times the birthrate of South Korea.

They don’t have this:

It was more or less an identical situation, where the US invaded an Asian country to stop communism. It’s just that in Vietnam, they failed. So Vietnam isn’t split in half with an ultra militarized DMZ driving everyone insane.

Anyway, I predicted that Korean society would completely unravel if Squid Game 2 sucked, and though I haven’t watched it, I’m sure it sucked. I might watch it at some point. But how could it not suck? The director didn’t even want to make it but they made him an offer he could not refuse.

This is just a complete mess. Like Taiwan, South Korea is an American Skinner Box where the Americans can just do anything to the people there. They have the entire right-wing of the country thinking the sickening Jewnited Snakes are the good guys, and somehow they are incapable of looking at the obvious fact that North Korea does not have this:

It’s sad.

I’ve had a lot of nonwhite friends, but the only really close nonwhite friend I ever had (frankly, the only close non-Irish diaspora friend I had) was Korean. He was neurotic as hell, and what I’ve come to understand is that this is the case with all South Koreans. They have been totally driven into pathological disorders by this ridiculous situation where the US tells them they are going to get bombed into oblivion by their brothers and sisters to the north, even whilst the only reason the North is militarized is that the US militarized the South.

I mean, I understand that all Asians dislike the Chinese to various extents, and I’m familiar with the reasons behind that. I’m actually not familiar with the reasons South Koreans don’t like the Chinese, as they are actually complaining about the Chinese government, which is not something I’ve ever heard from any other group of Asians. They all complain about Chinese people, but Koreans are the only ones complaining about “the CCP,” because of this overwhelming American influence. But seriously, even the Japs don’t complain about “the CCP,” they just generally dislike Chinese people.

In my experience, Chinese are gentlemanly and kind, but Asians have different concepts of politeness, and while they are similar from Korea to Thailand, Chinese don’t have these same customs, and this is generally the source of the animosity. It has nothing at all to do with the Chinese government, which if it is thought of at all is viewed much more positively than the Chinese people in general.

Korea needs to reunify in order to be fixed, and the US will never allow that.

I still don’t understand this Yoon coup, but it does now seem like the US was okay with it and might have supported it for some reason.

As long as the South is occupied by the US, the right will be screaming nonsense about China and the rest of the country will be doing this:

North Koreans Captured in the Ukraine Refuse Offer to Defect https://www.anglinarchive.com/2025/01/14/north-koreans-captured-in-the-ukraine-refuse-offer-to-defect/ Tue, 14 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000

This is a big narrative problem, isn’t it?

Aren’t we supposed to believe that everyone in North Korea is oppressed and longs to go to South Korea so they can become a suicidal incel?

That’s certainly what I was led to believe. And yet soliders, with an open opportunity to join the South, have no interest in doing so.

AP:

South Korea’s spy agency told lawmakers on Monday that two North Korean soldiers who were captured by Ukrainian forces while fighting alongside Russian forces in Russia’s Kursk border region haven’t expressed a desire to seek asylum in South Korea.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he’s willing to hand over the soldiers to North Korea if the country’s authoritarian leader, Kim Jong Un, arranges for an exchange with Ukrainian prisoners of war in Russia. Zelenskyy said one of the North Korean soldiers wishes to stay in Ukraine while the other wants to return to his country, which was consistent with interview videos released by his government. “If Kim Jong Un even remembers these citizens of his and is capable of organizing an exchange for our warriors being held in Russia, we are ready to transfer such soldiers. Undoubtedly there will be more POWs from North Korea,” Zelenskyy said in an address late Sunday. He said in a separate posting on the social media platform X that “there may be other options” for North Korean prisoners who don’t wish to go back.

In a closed-door briefing at South Korea’s National Assembly, the National Intelligence Service confirmed its participation in the questioning of the North Korean soldiers by Ukrainian authorities. The agency said the soldiers haven’t expressed a request to resettle in South Korea, according to two lawmakers who attended the meeting.

Here’s what I would want to know: do any of the South Koreas want to defect to the North?

Isn’t “sex” enough of a reason that most of the young males in South Korea would prefer to move to the North? Just as a basic matter, aside from the complexities of political systems, the North Korean system allows for men to get married and have children, while the Southern system prevents that.

What more would a young man need to know?

Zileienskiyiye is very proud of himself, capturing these North Koreans.

Great job, my neo-Nazi Jewish buddy.

Really nice work, capturing two soliders.

This saga is already boring.

If Yoon doesn’t do another coup soon, I’m done with his boring ass.

I don’t care if he is an incel, I can’t tolerate being this bored anymore.

Reuters:

The security chief of impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, under investigation for blocking Yoon’s arrest, resigned on Friday and said any further efforts to detain the ex-leader must avoid bloodshed.

Yoon’s short-lived declaration of martial law on Dec. 3 has plunged one of Asia’s most vibrant democracies into a period of unprecedented political turbulence.

As a top Court deliberates over lawmakers’ decision to impeach Yoon, who is holed up at his hillside residence, anti-graft officers have also opened a criminal investigation for possible insurrection.

Those officers were last week stopped from bringing Yoon in for questioning in a six-hour standoff with the Presidential Security Service (PPS), headed by Park Chong-jun.

Investigators have a warrant for Yoon’s arrest and have said they are determined to detain him for questioning.

Park, a former senior police official, was questioned by police on Friday over his role in last week’s standoff and his office announced he had submitted his resignation.

As he arrived at the police headquarters in downtown Seoul, he told reporters that the current attempt to arrest a sitting president was wrong and that “there should not be any physical clash or bloodshed under any circumstances.”

Acting President Choi Sang-mok, just two weeks in office and thrust into a political cauldron, on Friday called for a fresh way to resolve the stalemate between investigators and Yoon’s security.

He proposed parliament prepare a bill to appoint a special prosecutor. Earlier, Choi had vetoed an opposition-backed special prosecutor bill to probe the martial law declaration, saying it had no guarantee an independent person would be appointed to lead the probe.

Yoon still has a lot of supporters.

Why he didn’t tell those supporters to get out in the streets and fight his enemies after he declared martial law, I have no idea and no one has any idea.

He choked, and chokers are always losers.

Nothing is stopping him from doing another coup attempt, and no one can explain why he doesn’t just do that.

Please refrain from insulting remarks.

Reuters:

The chief of security for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said on Sunday he could not cooperate with efforts to arrest the impeached leader, in remarks that could push the political crisis towards another high-stakes confrontation.

With a warrant for Yoon’s arrest on grounds of insurrection set to expire at midnight (1500 GMT) on Monday, the official, Park Chong-jun, cited the legal debate surrounding the warrant as the reason for the lack of cooperation.

“Please refrain from insulting remarks that the presidential security service has been reduced to a private army,” he said in a statement, adding that it had provided security to all presidents for 60 years, regardless of political affiliation.

Park Chong-jun

The comments came after a Seoul court rejected a complaint from Yoon’s lawyers that the arrest warrant was illegal and invalid, the Yonhap news agency said. Telephone calls to the court to seek comment went unanswered.

“Judging the legitimacy of any legal interpretation and execution is difficult,” Seok Dong-hyeon, a lawyer advising Yoon, said on Facebook.

“If there is an error in the legality of law enforcement against the incumbent president, it will be a big problem.”

Yoon became the first incumbent South Korean president to face arrest for his botched attempt to declare martial law on Dec. 3, which triggered political chaos in Asia’s fourth-largest economy and a key U.S. ally.

…

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was set to arrive in Seoul on Sunday for talks with senior officials.

On Friday, Yoon’s presidential security service and military troops had blocked criminal investigators from arresting him in a six-hour standoff.

…

Yoon’s lawyers have said the warrant was unconstitutional because the anti-graft force leading his criminal investigation has no authority under South Korean law to investigate any case involving insurrection accusations.

It looks like the government is giving him a chance to do another coup.

He could easily get it right on the second try.

Rebel Scum Korea Now Officially a “Super-Aged Society” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/30/disreputable-korea-officially-a-super-aged-society/ Mon, 30 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

For those who don’t know, “super-aged” is only one step away from “ultra-aged,” which is itself only a step away from “extinct.”

Korea Times:

Korea has formally become a “super-aged” society as the share of its population aged 65 or over surpassed 20 percent, the interior ministry said Tuesday, as the country copes with a demographic crisis of a rapidly aging population and low births.

As of Monday, the number of Koreans aged 65 or older stood at 10.24 million, accounting for 20.0 percent of the country’s total population of 51.22 million, according to the ministry.

The United Nations classifies countries where more than 7 percent of the population is 65 or older as an aging society, those with over 14 percent as an aged society and those with more than 20 percent as a super-aged society.

The age group in Korea has gradually increased over the years, standing at 4.94 million in 2008.

It accounted for 10 percent of the population in 2008 before surpassing 15 percent in 2019 and reaching 19.05 percent in January this year.

The authorities in countries with destroyed birthrates continue to look around in confusion and talk about about “economic issues,” despite the fact that the countries with the collapsing birthrates are the richest in the world.

The reason is “women’s rights” (false concept). It’s very obvious to anyone with eyes that if you give women the “right” to make their own sexual decisions, they will go on sexual adventures for as long as possible.

If you want the birthrates to go up, you have to remove “women’s rights.” There is not another solution here.

If Shit Korea outlawed K-Pop, the birthrate would double in minutes.

This shit is such poison.

Replace that with this:

Then see what happens.

The sonovabitch pulled it off.

I’ll be damned.

Reuters:

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is still commander in chief and there is no disruption to the U.S. alliance, the defence ministry said on Monday after it was revealed Yoon was under criminal investigation for declaring martial law last week.

Yoon’s grip on power has come into question with dissent growing among senior military officers against the president, and his own party saying it would establish a task force to handle his eventual resignation.

While Yoon survived an impeachment vote in parliament on Saturday, his party’s decision to delegate presidential authority to the prime minister has plunged the key U.S. ally into a constitutional crisis.

Yoon has refused calls, including some from within his own ruling party, to resign, but his future looked more uncertain over the weekend when Yonhap news agency reported he was under criminal investigation for alleged treason.

Police were also considering banning him from leaving the country, Yonhap and other media reported on Monday.

Prosecutors on Sunday arrested ex-Defence Minister Kim Yong-hyun over his alleged role in the declaration of martial law, Yonhap reported.

They’re saying the prime minister has the power now, but if that were the case, the prime minister would just remove the president. Yoon still has the power, and he has only one option: to declare martial law again, and this time hold the line and start summarily executing politicians and protesters.

Obviously, no one really has that big of a problem with this, given that he was not impeached.

Worst case, he does it again and then apologizes again and nothing happens. If you can get away with it once, you can obviously get away with it twice.

We still have not found a conspiracy behind this situation, and it really seems like Yoon just wanted to be a dictator because he thought it would be simple. You don’t have to be a political expert to look at history and see that every democracy ends up with some kind of dictatorship. It’s just the natural flow of things.

He seems really sorry.

What a faggot.

The Guardian:

The South Korean president, Yoon Suk Yeol, has apologised for his short-lived attempt to impose martial law this week, promising to face any legal or political consequences hours before parliament is due to vote on his impeachment.

In a two-minute televised address to the nation, his first public appearance since he rescinded the martial law order on Wednesday, Yoon said he was “very sorry” for the decision, which he said was born of desperation, and promised not to attempt to impose martial law a second time.

“I am very sorry and would like to sincerely apologise to the people who were shocked,” Yoon said and bowed. “I leave it up to my party to take steps to stabilise the political situation in the future, including the issue of my term in office.”

Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the main opposition Democratic party, dismissed Yoon’s apology as “very disappointing” and said it had only increased public anger and betrayal.

“Increased public anger and betrayal”? Was that machine translated from Korean?

“The president’s very existence is the biggest risk to South Korea right now,” Lee said, maintaining that there was “no other solution” than his immediate resignation or removal through impeachment.

The leader of Yoon’s own People Power party (PPP), Han Dong-hun, also said that the president’s early resignation was unavoidable and that he was no longer in a position to fulfil his duty, according to the national news wire Yonhap.

On Friday, Han had said Yoon was a danger to the country and needed to be removed from power, increasing the pressure on Yoon to quit even though PPP members later reaffirmed a formal opposition to his impeachment.

…

The turmoil resulting from Yoon’s bizarre and poorly-thought-out stunt has paralysed South Korean politics and sparked alarm among key diplomatic partners, including neighbouring Japan and Seoul’s top ally, the United States, as one of the strongest democracies in Asia faces a political crisis that could unseat its leader.

Opposition lawmakers claim that Yoon’s martial law declaration amounted to a self-coup and drafted the impeachment motion around rebellion charges.

Maybe it’s hardcore that he’s not resigning. But doing martial law then backing down immediately, then issuing a public apology, is so gay. If he was going to declare martial law, he should have been ready to order military executions of opposition politicians and protest leaders. If you’re not ready to do that, you’re not ready for martial law.

It’s still not remotely clear what this guy was trying to do, the only thing we can assume is that he was attempting to install himself as a supreme leader. The language he used about the opposition working for North Korea definitely indicated he was pushing for a military dictatorship.

Probably, the commentary on that would be that this democracy system that the US exports everywhere on earth is not really popular anywhere, given that it is so unnatural. The natural system does have a dictator. First there were tribal chiefs, then there were clan leaders, then there were kings. People want a supreme leader.

That’s really why the Jews got so upset over Donald Trump: he stirred up this impulse for a supreme leader in the public.

Yoon’s own people throwing him under the bus after his failure is predictable and obvious. Of course they’re going to do that. If he had executed the opposition and then stabilized the country, they’d be saying the opposite thing: that anyone who opposes him is a threat to the country.

But he choked, and people do not like chokers. Chokers are losers and no one wants to be linked to the failures of a loser. If you’re at a casino and some guy is crying and drinking, you don’t go try to cheer him up, you get away from him.

So, this guy declared martial law. He published a document saying he was shutting down the entire government and sending the military to take over because the opposition is working with North Korea.

Frankly, I have no idea what the context of this is. People on Twitter are claiming all kinds of things, but the smarter people are admitting they don’t really understand what happened.

It was a very weird scene.

It seems the country is incredibly unstable.

The Guardian:

South Korea’s rightwing president has been forced to back down after he unexpectedly declared martial law only to face unanimous opposition from the national assembly, in the most serious challenge to the country’s democracy since the 1980s.

President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law late on Tuesday amid a dispute with opposition parties he accused of pro-North Korean sympathies and anti-state activities.

But after some of the tensest hours in the country’s recent history, Yoon said troops would return to their barracks and the order would be lifted following a cabinet meeting.

“Just a moment ago, there was a demand from the national assembly to lift the state of emergency, and we have withdrawn the military that was deployed for martial law operations,” Yoon said in a televised address early on Wednesday morning.

“We will accept the National Assembly’s request and lift the martial law through the cabinet meeting.”

The cabinet approved a motion to lift the order shortly after, prompting jubilation among protesters who had braved freezing temperatures to gather outside parliament.

The main opposition Democratic party called for Yoon, who has been in office since 2022, to resign or face impeachment.

“Even if martial law is lifted, he cannot avoid treason charges. It was clearly revealed to the entire nation that President Yoon could no longer run the country normally. He should step down,” said Park Chan-dae, a senior Democratic party MP.

Yes, I don’t think this was normal.

I have to think there was something obvious leading up to such extreme behavior, but no one on the internet seems to know what that was. By all appearances, there was just normal political opposition stuff going on and all the sudden this guy declared himself dictator, then bitched out like a fag.

If there was no immediate series of events leading to this, then it must be the result of endemic dysfunction in “South Korea.” It cannot be “one guy just went insane” (or rather, it could be that, but it seems very unlikely).

The White House said it was “relieved” that Yoon had reversed course on his declaration of martial law. “Democracy is at the foundation of the U.S.-ROK alliance, and we will continue to monitor the situation,” a spokesperson said, referring to South Korea by the initials of its official name, the Republic of Korea.

OMG SHUT UP FAGGOTMERICA.

Democracy is the foundation of nothing, firstly.

Further: is democracy the foundation of your relationship with Egypt and Saudi Arabia?

I think the foundation of the relationship with South Korea is the 30,000 US troops there.

The US had previously said it was watching events in its key Asian ally – where it has 28,500 troops stationed to guard against North Korea – with “grave concern”.

South Korea’s main opposition Democratic party had called president’s move “essentially a coup d’état”, saying it was illegal and in violation of the country’s constitution.

Yeah, but he said “JK LOL,” so I think that erases the coup?

He was just shit-testing people, maybe. Seeing what was up.

Legislators gathered in an emergency session of the National Assembly as parliamentary aides attempted to stop armed officers entering the building. Following Yoon’s declaration, Park An-su, the army’s chief of staff, had said that “strikes, work stoppages, and assembly acts that incite social unrest are prohibited”. Martial law in South Korea also provides for arrest without warrant and states that all media should be controlled by military authorities.

But there were no signs of South Korean society complying, after decades of democracy. Local media reported on the protests and the political developments, while the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Korean Trade Unions called emergency meetings to discuss going on strike.

Hundreds of protesters had earlier gathered outside the national assembly building following Yoon’s announcement that he was acting to eradicate “shameless pro-North Korean anti-state forces”.

Interestingly, the mainstream media is not even giving an explanation as to why this happened.

At the very least, whatever this was gives the lie to the claim that US-controlled democracies are so stable they can never be shaken.

North Korea should just invade.

Now the South Koreans are out there saying they want to get involved in this war.

Reuters:

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, asked on Friday whether Seoul could send weapons to Ukraine in response to North Korea’s aiding Russia, said all possible scenarios were under consideration.

Cho, speaking through an interpreter, told a press conference in Ottawa that Seoul would be watching the level of participation by North Korean troops in Russia and what Pyongyang received from Moscow in return.

South Korea has provided non-lethal aid to Ukraine, including mine clearance equipment, but so far has resisted Kyiv’s requests for weapons.

“All possible scenarios are under consideration,” Cho said when asked whether Seoul might send arms to Ukraine.

Do you know who doesn’t have gay anal maximalism?

The real Korea, run by Kim Jong-Un.

The real Korean government protects family values while the terrorist rebellion state, “South Korea,” forces people to have anal sex with men.

Reuters:

Hundreds of thousands of members of South Korea’s Christian groups held a service in Seoul on Sunday to protest against a landmark court ruling that acknowledged the rights of partners in same-sex couples to receive state health insurance.

The supreme court in July upheld a high court ruling that a same-sex partner was eligible for spousal benefits from the National Health Insurance Service, a move hailed as a win for LGBTQ rights in a country that has lagged others in the region.

Sunday’s massive service drew hundreds of thousands of Christians from across the country, disrupting traffic on several major roads in central Seoul.

As many as 230,000 people attended, the Yonhap news agency reported, citing police, The organisers, meanwhile, said as many as 1.1 million people took part. Calls to the Seoul metropolitan police agency were not answered.

Kim Jeong-hee, a spokesperson for the organising committee, said the verdict was unconstitutional because same-sex marriage has not been legalised.

What difference does it make if the government says it’s legal? It’s not legal. The government has no right to legalize gay sex.

“I think that would only be the starting point for same-sex marriage legalisation policy,” Kim said. “We see this not simply as a Christian issue, but as a huge crisis that shakes our country’s foundation.”

…

Some participants held signs saying “oppose the anti-discrimination law” and “protect our children from gender pollution, gender confusion and gender division destruction”.

Well, good luck.

The idea that you can be a heterosexual state while being aligned with the United States is idiotic and nonsensical. You can look around the world: when the US has a presence in a country, it implements its massive machine to promote gay sex and destroy the foundations of traditional and religious order in the country.

The military deals that countries sign with the US contain clauses allowing for education and media initiatives run by the Americans to promote feminism, homosexualism, multiculturalism, interracial sex, abortion, and every other Jewish social disease.

There is an entire global network of these NGO organizations. There are tens of thousands of them. Look into the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, for example. Banned by Hitler, the “German” group was started up again in 1946 by the Americans, and goes around the world promoting feminism and gay sex. Russia banned the group in a sweep of “undesirable organizations” in 2022.

Any group that says “social justice and democracy” is an initiative to promote these social agendas in schools. They have unlimited money from Soros and the US State Department. And if you want to cooperate with the United States, you have to allow these groups into your country.

They are more powerful than any civilian group organized against the gay and feminist movements. If you do not want your society taken apart piece by piece, your only option is to ban these organizations, and the only possible way you can ban these organizations is by decoupling from the United States and aligning with China.
