Daniel Oswaldo Lopez

“Paying the toll” also applies to women who date Aztecs.

The Wichita Eagle:

A Wichita man has been charged with murder in connection with the domestic violence shooting deaths of his girlfriend and daughter last week, police said.

Officer Paul Cruz said in a news release that Daniel Oswaldo Lopez was charged in Sedgwick County District Court with capital murder, criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault.

No charging document or arrest warrant for the murder case were publicly available through the court system Sunday afternoon. However, court documents from a separate case allege Lopez killed his family two days before their bodies were found.

Lopez, who is not in custody, is wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of his girlfriend MicKayla Sorell, 24, and their daughter Natalya Sorell, 8. Police were called March 30 to check the welfare of the woman after she did not show up to work. Officers found their bodies in a home in the 4500 block of South Walnut.

A probation violation warrant filed last week alleges the slaying happened on March 28, and that Lopez forced someone to drive him around at gunpoint.

…

Lopez has prior convictions in Sedgwick County, including drug charges, a weapons violation, and for theft and forgery, according to KDOC records. Community corrections last listed him as under intensive supervision. District court records show he was on probation at the time his family was shot and killed.

A judge on Thursday issued a probation-violation arrest warrant for Lopez, court records from a 2018 case for methamphetamine and weapon possession show. A supervision officer alleged that Lopez committed two counts of capital murder in connection with the deaths of his girlfriend and daughter. The officer also alleged that, on the same day, Lopez committed aggravated kidnapping and criminal possession of a firearm.

A police case connected with the gun and kidnapping allegations states that a 25-year-old victim told police that Lopez forced him to drive around south Wichita at gunpoint. The police report wasn’t filed until the day after MicKayla and Natalya Sorell were found dead.

What sort of world are we living in, where white women named “MicKayla” are now having children with beaners named “Daniel”?

One of the worst things about having blacks in our society is that they’re always stealing the highest quality women from us.

KAKE:

Wichita police say they’ve arrested two people in the death of a 41-year-old woman who was reported missing earlier this week.

Jail records show 39-year-old Ahmad Bey and 34-year-old Vanessa Waner were each booked early Friday morning for first-degree murder. Bey was also jailed on a state warrant.

Ahmad Bey and Vanessa Waner.

Capt. Brent Allred said a coworker reported Melinda Sprague missing when she didn’t show up for work on Tuesday. Her vehicle was found Thursday in the 1500 block of East Harry. Her body was in her car.

According to Capt. Allred, Bey and Sprague had been in a relationship and that Bey and Waner had lived together on South Mosley. Bey was arrested in Neodesha.

Sprague’s death was Wichita’s 35th criminal homicide of 2019.

Kansas Department of Corrections records show Bey is on parole for a second-degree murder conviction out of Crawford County in 1999. He was paroled in July.

Lawyer Claims 14-Year-Old Boy Who Shot and Killed His Drunk Mother Acted “Bravely and Legally” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/07/24/lawyer-claims-14-year-old-boy-who-shot-and-killed-his-drunk-mother-acted-bravely-and-legally/ Wed, 24 Jul 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

It’s good to know that some people openly recognize the heroism behind sons shooting their toxic mothers.

Daily Mail:

The attorney for a boy who was 14 when he shot and killed his drunken mother has said that the shooting was justified in self-defense.

Lisa Trimmell, 41, was at home with her sons, then aged 12 and 14, when she was killed by a gunshot wound to the side of the neck on June 20, 2018 outside of Wichita, Kansas.

This week, attorneys for her elder son filed a motion to dismiss a charge of voluntary manslaughter that is pending in juvenile court, citing self-defense.

The older brother ‘acted bravely and legally in defending himself and his younger brother … from her attack,’ said lawyer Dan Monnat, according to the Wichita Eagle.

‘For many years, Lisa Trimmell was a devoted, loving mother who raised two intelligent, polite and well-behaved young boys to lead good lives,’ Monnat said. ‘But, the autopsy of Lisa Trimmell confirms her death is another instance of the rampant disease of adult alcohol abuse leading to tragic results.’

An autopsy confirmed that Trimmell had a blood-alcohol level of 0.185 at the time of her death, more than double the legal limit to drive, and found signs of ‘hepatic cirrhosis’ consistent with ‘acute and chronic alcoholism’.

However, prosecutors have yet to lay out their case, and declined to comment except to say that the teen was due in court on Friday.

It is alleged that the mother attacked the younger kid and that the older brother grabbed her gun and fired one shot, but it doesn’t really matter because she was a divorced alcoholic.

Boys shooting their alcoholic and/or divorced mothers should be legal and encouraged.

Having mothers as authority figures if fathers are no longer married to them (for whatever reason) is a ridiculous proposition. In fact, having women in any kind of position of authority is batshit crazy.

Women are weaker and dumber than men, even when they’re more “educated” than men.

Perhaps especially when they’re more “educated” than men.

They have no wisdom, no strength and no burning drive to create and achieve.

There is nothing in them that men should respect, except for their ability to grow and pop out babies. But the merit of motherhood is not enough to rule over men. Although absolutely necessary, it’s not really that impressive. Every mammalian female does kind of the same life-gestation thing minus the constant whining. In contrast, no mammalian male does what men do.

Why are we allowing women to rule over boys and men? Divorced mothers, school teachers, politicians, coworkers, bosses — none of them have anything worth admiring.

The vast majority of them are incapable of mentoring and giving any kind of worthwhile advice (the tiny minority that is capable of that is just repeating the words of men) and they’re messing up their kids’ minds with a smile on their face.

It’s time to put these creatures back where they belong.

Danielle Zimmerman, upper left, died after having a medical problem while in a Taco Bell drive-through. While she was unconscious, a primitive jungle creature stole her belongings, including her wedding ring.

A Wichita man will spend more than 11 years in prison for stealing a wedding ring and other items from a woman who was dying from a brain aneurysm in a Taco Bell drive-through in December 2013.

Sedgwick County District Judge Christopher Magana ordered Daquantrius Johnson to serve the 136-month term consecutive to other sentences he received for crimes committed while on felony probation in a 2013 burglary case. The sentences in those cases totaled 111 months, which means Johnson, 21, will be incarcerated for about 20 1/2 years.

Johnson’s attorney, Terry Beall, had asked for leniency from the judge during Monday’s hearing, suggesting his client be sentenced to probation again.

But Magana denied the request, telling Johnson: “Unfortunately, you have become a predator on others in our society … and the public must be protected from predators and the community must be safeguarded.

“I have considered your situation and your history, and there is much about that that is regrettable. But it’s also my job to consider the victim in this case, Danielle Zimmerman,” Magana said.

The baboon-faced beast Daquantrius Johnson will now spend more than 11 years in prison.

“The evidence at jury trial was that you were the one who went to her car and you were the one that robbed her. The evidence at jury trial was that you were the only one seen with and in possession of her wedding ring after this crime. The law does not require that you assist someone in a time of need. But it does prohibit you from attacking someone in their time of need.”

Johnson – shackled at his wrists and ankles and dressed in an orange jail jumpsuit – faced supporters who gathered in the gallery during the bulk of the hearing. He smiled occasionally as Magana imposed the sentence. He did not speak.

A jury in December convicted Johnson of aggravated burglary, robbery and misdemeanor theft for his role in the Dec. 29, 2013, robbery of Danielle Zimmerman, a 43-year-old mother and wife.

Prosecutors say Johnson, while he was with two other men, reached into Zimmerman’s truck and stole her purse and the ring off of her finger after she suffered a fatal brain aneurysm at the Taco Bell at 3725 E. Harry. She had gone to get dinner for her family when she fell ill in the drive-through lane and her truck hit the restaurant’s speaker box.

She died in a hospital the following day.

Group Demand Judges be Removed After Overturning Death Sentence for Black Rapists Who Left 5 White People Dead https://www.anglinarchive.com/2014/10/14/group-demand-judges-be-removed-after-overturning-death-sentence-for-black-rapists-who-left-5-white-people-dead/ Tue, 14 Oct 2014 00:00:00 +0000 KCTV5

The five White people who were killed in the brutal attacks in December 2000.

It was a brutal crime that rocked the city of Wichita and has gone down as one of the worst crimes in state history.

Fourteen years ago, two brothers were accused of going on a crime spree of murder, assault, rape and robbery, killing five people in the brutal attacks. Two years later, Reginald and Jonathan Carr were tried, convicted and sentenced to death, but recently the Kansas Supreme Court overturned their death penalty sentences and some convictions.

Now there is a movement to have two Supreme Court justices removed from the bench following their decision on the case.

“Took our breathe away. We were all completely shocked and devastated again that it felt like we were going back to that day,” Amy James said.

That day for James dates back to December 2000 and is considered one of the worst in the history of Kansas as the Carr brothers wrapped up the brutal crime spree.

Brad Heyka was one of five victims who were assaulted, tortured and taken to a frozen field where they were shot execution style and run over with a truck. One of the victims survived, but Heyka did not. He and James had been dating for three years at the time of his murder.

“Brad and I were very serious in terms of our relationship, so for me it was a huge change, it changed everything. It changed the kind of person that I am and the things that I believe in. It just shifts who you are,” James said.

The Carr brothers were convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death.

Jonathan Carr Reginald Carr 2013 KDOC
Jonathan Carr and Reginald Carr have both had their death sentences overturned.

But 14 years after their murderous spree, the Kansas Supreme Court overturned their death penalties, stating the trial judge should have separated their penalty proceeding. Several convictions were also overturned.

James and other victims’ family members were at the Kansas Supreme Court when the appeal arguments were being heard last December.

“What really upset me was how the justices talked about it like they were talking about the weather. They were very arrogant,” she said.

With the six-to-one ruling to overturn the death penalty, the family and friends have formed the group Kansans for Justice. They are urging voters not to retain Kansas Supreme Court Justices Eric Rosen and Lee Johnson in the Nov. 4 election.

“Help us remove those two justices so that we can hopefully put new people in place who will move cases along,” James said.

James said putting the surviving victim through another trial is criminal itself and believes it’s time to focus on the victims who lost their lives and not the monsters who took them.

Rosen issued a response that said, “I have been recognized by victims and their families, media covering criminal proceedings and a variety of organizations including a former attorney general for my compassion and sensitivity toward crime victims.”

He went on to say, “At the same time my colleagues and I have a legal and ethical duty to uphold the constitution and the laws of the state of Kansas which sometimes is at odds with victims or their family’s wishes.”

Rosen said he had no further comment on the matter.
