Four Swedish police officers took a break from their New York vacation to answer the call of duty Wednesday, breaking up an out-of-control fight between two homeless men on a Manhattan subway train.

The Scandinavian patrolmen said they were on their way to see a performance of Les Misérables when they heard the operator of their uptown 6 train yell frantically over the intercom: “are there any police officers on the train?!”

“We thought maybe someone needed help,” said Samuel Kvarzell, 25, a rookie with the Stockholm Police Department.

When they made their way to the front of the train, they saw one homeless man beating the other senseless, as terrified straphangers fled the car into the Bleecker Street station.

Celtic Kevin Carr, a 34-year-old man from Devon, has run two marathons a day for almost two years, so that he could run right the way around the world and beat the previous record.

Despite being hunted by packs of wild and feral dogs, stalked and attacked by bears and run over twice, he succeeded in his mammoth task and proved that if a White man really sets his mind on doing something, then the chances are he will win.

He began his epic voyage at Haytor on Dartmoor in July 2013 and returned yesterday after 621 days, one quicker than the previous record, held by Australian Tom Denniss.

Mr Carr also became the first man to complete the voyage unsupported by a team, instead pushing all of his kit along in a stroller that weighed twice as much as he does.

He said: ‘I’ve pushed my tired legs through most of Europe, India, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US.

‘I have encountered some pretty scary things along the way, from packs of wilds dogs in Romania to the most extreme weather conditions imaginable.

‘Most frightening of all however was coming face to face with bears. One of the bears stalked and then actively came for me.

‘I used bear banger explosives that someone had given me and, after three misfires, thankfully my fourth attempt sent the bear packing.’

He said during one 300-mile stretch full of bears and wolves he relied on people with short-distance radios to keep a check on him to make sure he wasn’t eaten.

He added: ‘I’ve had to endure a lot of suffering too. I had severe heatstroke in India and have twice been hit by cars.

‘I knew the size of the challenge but it was a little bit more of a headache dealing with the logistics and the traffic.

‘It was a bit harder than I had anticipated and took me a bit longer.

‘I didn’t have much time to lament on loneliness as I was concentrating on the traffic and where I was going to sleep that night and find a shop.

‘The worst thing I faced was indifference from fashion savvy people looking at a sweaty dishevelled man pushing a pram down the road.’

A Good Samaritan has told how she saved a woman jogger from a would-be rapist who struck in broad daylight.

Five-foot two-inch Erin Whiteside, 22, repeatedly kicked the scar-faced attacker as he pinned the 30-year-old victim to the ground in Clayton Vale Park, Clayton.

The man, described, by police as ‘dangerous’, fled on his bicycle after Erin booted him in the side three times and told him to stop. Erin, a Manchester sandwich shop worker, was in the park doing her other job for a dog walking firm when she sprang into action.

Erin said: “I walk there quite often because one of the dogs I walk lives nearby. I was with four dogs and then heard someone screaming. It was loud, she was screaming ‘get off me, get off me’.

“Initially I didn’t run towards her because I thought it was kids messing about or something.

“Then I heard a man, who was also jogging, shout ‘the police are coming’. So I realised it was something serious.

“I walked round the corner and saw this man attacking a woman. I shouted at him to get him away from her, but he didn’t react at all.

“Eventually, I started kicking him in the side, and in the end he got off her. I think I kicked him three times at least. He never said a word.

Bruised and bloodied by an intruder, a Jacksonville man and woman exchanged gunfire with the invader and put an end to an assault early Friday at their home. The two were hospitalized, but a child there was unharmed and the suspect is dead, police said.

The dead man has been identified as Marquise Trevel Yates, 21, whose last known address was in the 6100 block of Arlington Expressway.

The adults were apparently just waking up when they heard a “loud noise” of someone breaking in the back door on Seabrook Cove Road, said Sgt. Michael Paul….

“They had become involved in a scuffle with him inside,” Paul said. “The homeowner was able to retrieve a firearm and the suspect of the robbery is deceased at the scene.”

The sergeant did not specify if the couple were husband and wife but said the child is possibly a grandchild.

The 50-year-old man fought with the assailant and was hit multiple times with a blunt object, police said late Friday. He was able to get to a gun and exchange gunfire with the attacker. The 60-year-old woman also got a gun and shot the suspect.

The Sheriff’s Office was called about 6:30 a.m. to the home just west of Cesery Boulevard, off the Arlington Expressway service road.

Investigators were looking at a backyard fence early in the investigation as a possible entry site for the robbery suspect.

The man’s injuries were more serious than the woman’s, but both were listed in stable condition at UF Health Jacksonville, Paul said.

“Hopefully we will recover all the weapons and we will be able to talk to the victims and get a really good picture of what happened,” Paul said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating the death and the State Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case.

A south Georgia woman who fought back when two men forced their way into her home is encouraging others to do the same.

Berrien County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in reference to a burglary around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a report, 19-year-old Kayla Walker and her 10-month-old son were at home when she said she heard a noise at the back door.

She went to check it out, and that’s when the door was pulled open by a man trying to get inside.

“But by the time I got in here, they was coming in and I was pushing them back out as hard as I could,” she said.

Walker said she immediately pushed the man out of the house, but another man behind him pushed them both back inside, knocking her to the ground.

That’s when she told investigators the second man straddled her and began beating her in the face, using racial slurs such as “stupid white (expletive).”

But Walker then said she grabbed the man by the testicles and caused him to fall over on her. She then grabbed him by the throat and began choking him.

“I head-butted him, then grabbed his privates and I reached up an started choking him,” she recalled.

She told officials that she choked him until she felt like he was unconscious, and then let go.

But the man wasn’t unconscious.

He began to fight Walker again, and according to the report, she grabbed a hammer and hit the man several times on the head and on his body with it.

She then ran, grabbed her child, and went into a bedroom, where she grabbed a shotgun and pointed it at the men.

“He said, ‘This is my new house. I’m here to stay.’ I said, ‘Not at this residence.’ I put the gun to his face and the gun clicked and he ran,” she said.

Walker told deputies that she tried to shoot the intruders, but there was no shell in the chamber of the gun.

She reported that the man ran away through the woods, leaving a trail of blood behind him.

The whole attack lasted about 15 minutes and she was left with several bruises and scratches, but no severe injuries.

“If this would have happened to a younger girl, they probably would not have fought back,” Walker said. “They just need to know- don’t give up, fight back to the fullest no matter what.”

She said she reinforced her back door after the incident.

“Now that’s he’s come in we got a dead bolt lock on it. We got chains on it,” said Walker.

Walker was able to identify one of the men in a photo line up from authorities. No arrests were made as of Friday evening.

A professional wrestler chased down a man who allegedly broke into his Phoenix home Thursday evening.

Police said a second suspect got away.

Phoenix police officers were responding to a call of two suspicious males in an Arcadia neighborhood as Bryan Danielson was confronting two alleged burglars.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said Danielson, whose ring name is Daniel Bryan, and his wife were pulling into their carport when they saw the door that leads to the house start to open. Two males then ran out of the home and fled on foot.

The former WWE world heavyweight champion chased the two suspects. He caught up to one of them and a struggle ensued. Danielson was able to subdue the suspect and detain him until police officers could take him into custody.

“The fun answer would be that I put him in the ‘yes lock’ and he was tapping on the ground, but that isn’t actually what happened,” Danielson said at a press conference, talking about his signature move.

His wife, WWE Diva Brie Bella, said she called 911 because she was worried the suspects might be armed.

“That’s why I’m borderline ashamed of what I did,” Danielson said. “It’s probably not the best thing to do because you don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Danielson said he doesn’t believe the suspects knew he was professional wrestler.

The second suspect described only as a Hispanic male has not been located.

Police said Cesar Sosa, 22, and his accomplice broke the rear sliding glass door to get into the house to burglarize it.

“When the burglary was interrupted, they dropped their loot and ran away,” Thompson said.

One of the items they dropped was a gift Danielson received from his father, who died recently.

A teenage girl has described how she used her brown-belt karate skills to fight off a hooded man who attacked her in broad daylight and initially knocked her out cold.

Terrified Shannon Stacey was walking along a path close to her home in Normanby, near Middlesbrough, at about 1pm on Friday when she noticed a large branch on the ground blocking her path.

As she bent down to move it, her attacker jumped out from bushes and punched her in the face so hard that she blacked out and fell to the ground.

The 16-year-old said: ‘I was walking from the bus stop with my earphones in when I felt something hit the side of my face.

‘It didn’t know what to think at first; everything went dark and I could hear a buzzing sound before I saw a man stood over me. It was then I realised he had punched me.’

The attacker, who was wearing a snood-type scarf covering his face and grey gloves, demanded Shannon hand over her phone, money and shopping bags, but the brave teenager refused.

She said: ‘My reaction was to say no. I was in complete shock.’

The attacker punched and kicked Shannon, who has just left Eston Park Academy, at least another three times before pinning her to the ground.

Shannon said: ‘He hit me again, and told me to hand over my bags so I threw one at him, and I was trying to block his punches. He had me pinned to the ground.’

Shannon, who has a brown belt in karate, managed to fight off the thug before running home just yards away.

‘I kicked and punched as much as I could and he eventually stopped,’ Shannon added.

‘I was screaming as loud as possible which I think must have scared him off.

White people grow a lot, why do white people grow so much food? Always the ones starting green pieces and sierra clubs and making a big fuss over things others dont seem to understand.

They want to save the elephants, the whales and the trees and protect the forests, because they came from the forests.

Their wisdom is unique.

May White people live a long time and bring more of the gifts that only their race brings, while they learn the wisdom lessons that they are now prepared to learn.
