A teenage girl was recently compelled to publicly apologize for her pregnancy at True Vine Apostolic Church in Hampton, Virginia. The incident, captured on video and shared widely online, has drawn sharp criticism and prompted broader discussions about shame and accountability within religious communities.

The video, originally posted by journalist Jemele Hill, shows the visibly emotional girl standing before the congregation. “I want to apologize to everybody in here because I am pregnant,” she says tearfully. “I’m sorry y’all. I just hope that y’all all forgive me.” After her remarks, the congregation applauded, and she requested prayers as she stepped away from the podium.

The church’s pastor, Bishop Terry Jackson, then addressed the congregation, making his position clear. “If you sin, you don’t wait till the baby come to repent,” he said. “We ain’t gon’ condone your sin now… Ain’t no baby showers going on. That’s what you lose out on.” Bishop Jackson emphasized the importance of repentance and stated that no member of the church should attend a baby shower for a child born out of wedlock.

Reactions to the video have been mixed, with many expressing support for the teenage girl and condemning the church’s actions. Television personality Sunny Hostin offered her support, writing, “I will host the baby shower. Pls contact me sweetheart. Your baby will be celebrated and loved.”

However, a woman identifying herself as the girl’s grandmother, Dee Myles, defended the church’s approach. French teacher Peter Vlaming was fired in 2018 for shunning the use of pronouns to refer to a transgender-identifying student. On Sept. 30, the West Point School Board in Virginia agreed to pay him $575,000 in damages and attorneys’ fees.

“I’m so relieved that our basic fundamental rights of freedom of expression, of freedom of religion have been formally upheld,” Vlaming told The Daily Signal.

The School Board cleared Vlaming’s termination from his record and changed its policies to conform to the new Virginia education policies established by Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R-Va.

Vlaming is a Christian, so he believes God created male and female. Still, the teacher was willing to respect the rights of his students to disagree.

When one of his female students started identifying as male, Vlaming avoided referring to her with pronouns, instead using her preferred name. On Halloween of 2018, his students participated in a virtual reality tour of French catacombs, during which the transgender-identifying student almost ran into a wall.

“Don’t let her hit the wall!” Vlaming called out instinctively.

Haha.

The student called her parents, who complained to the school. Vlaming was placed on administrative leave and given an ultimatum that he would be fired if he didn’t use preferred personal pronouns. Vlaming refused to comply and was fired.

Nearly six years later, Vlaming, represented by the religious liberty nonprofit law firm Alliance Defending Freedom, won his case.

With this extremist leftist stuff, it’s always two steps forward, one step back. That’s the way it’s always progressed. If you go back and look at mainstream films in the 1970s, it was basically all full frontal nudity, and people complained so they walked it back. The forced school integration was tacitly walked back some when they allowed districting to segregate racially across the country. Everything gets halfway walked back. It doesn’t mean anything important.

In 2020-2023, they did more than two steps forward. It was two Superman-style leaps forward. Now we’re taking one step back, and saying “okay, well, some of this stuff was sort of insane.”

It’s a mild reprieve.

A Virginia school board must fork over more than $500,000 to a former French teacher who was fired in 2018 for refusing to use a transgender student’s preferred pronouns.

The teacher, Peter Vlaming, along with Christian legal group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) filed a lawsuit against the district, arguing his termination was a violation of his religious beliefs.

“I was wrongfully fired from my teaching job because my religious beliefs put me on a collision course with school administrators who mandated that teachers ascribe to only one perspective on gender identity—their preferred view,” Vlaming said in a statement following the settlement agreement.

“I loved teaching French and gracefully tried to accommodate every student in my class, but I couldn’t say something that directly violated my conscience.”

As part of the terms of the settlement, the West Point School Board will pay the former teacher $575,000 in damages and legal fees as well as expunge the wrongful dismissal from his record.

In a shift unrelated to the suit, the district also said it will alter its policies to align with state education guidelines put in place by Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, which allows K-12 teachers in the state to refer to transgender students by their birth name and gender regardless of their gender identity, The Hill writes.

Celebrating these things are “victories” is probably not all that helpful.

It’s a bit like a Palestinian child finding a puddle he can drink from.

Although this “woke” nonsense is being rolled back pretty significantly, that was clearly inevitable. The tranny stuff and the “just let blacks commit crimes because of slavery hundreds of years ago” stuff, it was always too goofy to stick. But by promoting this gibberish for a half decade, the landscape has been changed, and these woke ideas are at least considered acceptable views, even if they’ve largely given up on trying to force everyone to adopt them.

The plan now is to just continue pushing it on children. The last five or so years were a “shock and awe” campaign to normalize the ideas enough that they can be pushed on children. If Glenn Youngkin was anything other than a faggot coward, he would ban children from using fake names and pronouns in schools, not simply allow teachers to say the real ones. He would tell the public that anyone confused about whether they are a boy or a girl belongs in a psychiatric ward, not a public school.

But nah.

A Virginia high school football player has died after suffering a heart attack on the practice field Monday — and his teammates are now paying tribute to the “positive” and “remarkable” athlete.

Sophomore Jayvion Taylor, 15, was about 40 minutes into the practice — and in the middle of light drills — when the young student-athlete took a water break, then dropped to the ground just 10 feet from a coach, a Hopewell High School spokesperson told CBS 6 Richmond.

A pair of coaches performed CPR and called 911, the statement said. Paramedics arrived quickly, and brought Taylor to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The pro-vaxers are still saying “HAHA NOT EVERYONE DIED.”

A Virginia company’s job listing inviting only White people and the U.S.-born to apply for a position didn’t just raise eyebrows online — it also caught the attention of the U.S. government.

Arthur Grand Technologies’ job advertisement last year restricted eligible candidates to “only US Born Citizens [white]” and those living within 60 miles of Dallas, Texas, noted the U.S. Department of Justice, which determined that the Ashburn, Va.-based company’s discriminatory listing violated the Immigration and Nationality Act.

A recruiter working for an Arthur Grand subsidiary in India posted the ad on job site Indeed in March and April of 2023 for a business analyst position with the company’s sales and insurance claims team. The ad was widely circulated on social media and generated multiple news stories.

“It is shameful that in the 21st century, we continue to see employers using ‘whites only’ and ‘only US born’ job postings to lock out otherwise eligible job candidates of color,” Kristen Clarke, assistant attorney general with the department’s civil rights division, said in a statement. “I share the public’s outrage at Arthur Grand’s appalling and discriminatory ban on job candidates based on citizenship status, national origin, color and race.”

The company will pay a civil penalty of $7,500 under the agreement to resolve the matter. It also agreed to pay $31,000 to compensate those who filed complaints with the Department of Labor.

Five West Virginia middle schoolers who protested a transgender athlete’s participation in a track and field competition have been barred from future meets — prompting the state attorney general to ask the US Supreme Court to weigh in on transgender student-athlete bans for a second time.

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey filed a lawsuit against the Harrison County Board of Education on the dissenting students’ behalf after they were blocked from upcoming meets following their protests at the April 18 shot put competition, West Virginia Watch reported.

Five girls from Lincoln Middle School stepped up to the circle for their turn before refusing to throw in the event, which was won by Becky Pepper-Jackson, a 13-year-old girl who takes puberty-blocking medication and estrogen hormone therapy.

While West Virginia law bans transgender girls from playing on girls’ sports teams, a recent federal appeals court ruled that the law couldn’t lawfully be applied to the eighth-grader.

Judge Toby Heytens wrote that offering her a “choice” between not participating in sports and participating only on boys’ teams “is no real choice at all.”

A top Republican in Virginia has apologized for misgendering a state senate Democrat in a row that caused legislative activity in the chamber to be temporarily suspended.

A married Virginia teacher faces up to 50 years behind bars after pleading guilty to having sex with her 14-year-old student over the school year — at his home, where “her DNA was recovered from his bed linens.”

​Megan Pauline Jordan, 25, who taught at Hungary Creek Middle School in Henrico County, pleaded guilty to four counts of carnal knowledge and one count of indecent liberties of a minor, which are all felonies, according to WRIC.

“During the 2022-23 school year, Ms. Jordan was having sexual relations with her 14-year-old student,” Henrico County Commonwealth’s Attorney Shannon Taylor announced Tuesday, the Richmond Times-Dispatch said.

“On several occasions, Ms. Jordan would go to the victim’s house and have sexual intercourse with the student. Her DNA was recovered from his bed linens,” Taylor added.

Jordan, who was arrested in June 2023, was initially charged with five counts of carnal knowledge of a minor and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

She continues to be held without bond and faces 50 years in prison when sentenced on May 20, Taylor said.

The Confederate Memorial at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia is set to be removed this week, officials said.

Arlington National Cemetery spokesperson Kerry Meeker told CNN in an email Sunday they anticipate the monument to be completely removed by Dec. 22.

The move is the latest action in the removal of Confederate symbols from US military facilities set forth by a Department of Defense directive issued last October.

The Army, which operates the cemetery, said on the cemetery’s website the process to prepare for the monument’s removal, which included an environmental assessment, was completed Saturday. The evaluation found removing it “will not have significant environmental impacts,” according to officials.

Officials said they will remove the bronze elements, which will be relocated.

Meeker said crews installed safety fencing around the monument and added the surrounding landscape, graves and headstones will be protected during the monument’s removal.

Cemetery officials said the statue’s granite base and foundation will stay at the site to “avoid disturbing surrounding graves.”

According to the cemetery’s website, Confederate remains weren’t allowed to be buried at Arlington until 1900, 35 years after the Civil War ended.

“By 1902, 262 Confederate bodies were interred in a specially designated section, Section 16,” the cemetery said. The total is now more than 400, according to the cemetery website.

According to the cemetery, the statue, which was designed by American sculptor Moses Jacob Ezekiel and unveiled in 1914, depicts a bronze woman atop a 32-foot-tall pedestal wearing a crown adorned with olive leaves, holding a laurel wreath, a plow stock, and a pruning hook. At her feet, a Biblical inscription reads, “They have beat their swords into plough-shares and their spears into pruning hooks,” the cemetery said.

Other figures on the monument include a Black woman depicted as a “Mammy,” carrying an infant of a white officer, and a Black man following his owner to war, according to the cemetery.

Not everyone is on board with the decision of the statue’s removal.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, has voiced his disappointment, said his spokeswoman Macaulay Porter, adding the governor plans to relocate it to the New Market Battlefield State Historical Park in the Shenandoah Valley, calling it a “fitting backdrop for Ezekiel’s legacy.”

A Christian photographer in Virginia won’t be forced to provide services to same-sex wedding ceremonies, according to a new settlement reached between himself and the Commonwealth.

Bob Updegrove filed a lawsuit against Virginia over a law that took effect in 2020 that expanded state anti-discrimination rules to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

Updegrove reached a settlement last Friday with Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and the Virginia Office of Civil Rights, in which officials agreed not to enforce the law against the photographer if he refuses on religious grounds to provide services for a same-sex wedding.

Specifically, the defendants agreed not to force Updegrove “to offer or provide photography celebrating same-sex weddings” and not to prevent him “from asking prospective clients whether they seek photography services celebrating same-sex weddings or engagements.”

The settlement referenced the United States Supreme Court decision 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis, in which the high court ruled 6-3 that Lorie Smith of 303 Creative cannot be compelled by Colorado law to create websites that violate her religious views.

Updegrove was represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a conservative legal group that has successfully argued First Amendment cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.

ADF Legal Counsel Johannes Widmalm-Delphonse said in a statement on Monday that “the government can’t force Americans to say things they don’t believe.”

“This victory for Bob underscores how the 303 Creative decision will protect countless Americans from government censorship and coercion. The U.S. Constitution protects his freedom to express his views as he continues to serve clients of all backgrounds and beliefs,” added Widmalm-Delphonse.

In April 2020, then-Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, signed the Virginia Values Act, a measure that added sexual orientation and gender identity to state civil rights protections.

Northam said in a statement released at the time that the law “sends a strong, clear message” that “Virginia is a place where all people are welcome to live, work, visit, and raise a family.”

“We are building an inclusive Commonwealth where there is opportunity for everyone, and everyone is treated fairly,” stated Northam in 2020. “No longer will LGBTQ Virginians have to fear being fired, evicted, or denied service in public places because of who they are.”

Shortly after the Act was passed, it became the subject of multiple lawsuits, with church and ministry groups arguing that the new legislation lacked sufficient religious protections.

For his part, Updegrove filed a “pre-enforcement” challenge against the Act, arguing that the new law would force him to go against his belief that marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman.

In March 2021, U.S. District Court Judge Claude M. Hilton ruled against Updegrove, arguing that he lacked the standing to sue since the act “has never been enforced against” him.

I believe this ruling means that faggots will now be thrown off of roofs by the cops, though we’ll have to wait and see.
