Who would have thought that removing fundamental nutrients from your diet would result in health problems?

Daily Mirror:

Vegan diets more than double the risk of a broken hip, warns new research.

A study of more than 50,000 British people tracked over two decades found giving up animal flesh weakens bones – and can trigger osteoporosis.

Compared with people who ate meat and fish, scientists found that those with lower calcium and protein intake were especially prone to hip, leg and spine fractures.

Vegans were also 43 per cent more likely to suffer a fracture anywhere. In particular this applied to the leg, vertebrae and collarbone.

The latest research by the Vegan Society says there are now 600,000 vegans in Britain.

Study lead author Dr Tammy Tong, an Oxford University nutritional epidemiologist, said: “The biggest differences were for hip fractures, where the risk in vegans was 2.3 times higher than in people who ate meat – equivalent to 15 more cases per 1,000 people over 10 years.”

The reason this was published is very simple:

  • The push right now is for everyone on earth to stop eating meat. This plan features heavily in the “Great Reset” literature, as well as every other text of the globalists.
  • People know that veganism isn’t healthy. Globalists know they’re going to have a hard time getting you on-board with this.
  • They’ve decided to present the problems with veganism out in the open, and then solve the problems in the open.
  • The solution to veganism making you unhealthy is eating bugs.

They are going to talk about these problems, then they’re going to say “oh, well – we’ve found a solution! You have to eat bugs!”

The introduction of the concept of eating bugs was an admission that veganism is dangerously unhealthy. Bugs have animal protein, and they make it plausible to live a normal life without eating meat. Obviously, you’re never going to feel as good as you would eating meat, but your bones won’t just be breaking left and right every time you go outside.

I’m extremely honoured to receive the Gulbenkian Prize for Humanity! We’re in a climate emergency, and my foundation will as quickly as possible donate all the prize money of 1 million Euros to support organizations and projects that are fighting for a sustainable world, defending nature and supporting people already facing the worst impacts of the climate- and ecological crisis — particularly those living in the Global South.
Starting with giving €100.000 to the SOS Amazonia Campaign led by @FridaysForFutureBrasil to tackle COVID-19 in the Amazon, and €100.000 to the Stop Ecocide Foundation (@ecocidelaw ) to support their work to make ecocide an international crime. @fcgulbenkian #facetheclimateemergency

A post shared by Greta Thunberg (@gretathunberg) on

Greta Thunberg, who campaigned against fossil fuels, just received a million euros in funding from an oil tycoon’s foundation, but the real Greta news of the week is that her face is losing collagen at an incredible speed.

She’s only 17 years old, and her eyes are sunken, the skin on her cheeks is thin to the point that you can see her tendons and muscles moving as she speaks, her lips are dry, and her hair is thinning. You can also quite literally see her mandible moving as she talks.

Back when she first entered the spotlight, as a young mentally ill retarded girl who stopped attending school so she could try to stop people from driving cars, she looked healthier.

Now she looks like something out of Dungeons & Dragons, and the media avoids mentioning her.

Veganism does that to people.

Why is she allowed to do this to herself? Why aren’t her parents doing something to stop her transformation?

We know what happens when people eat a vegan diet long enough.

We should remember that the same people who successfully foisted the coronavirus hoax on the world want people to stop eating animal foods and live on soy and wheat grass juice.

They say that it is good for the planet and good for people’s health. If they ordered everyone to eat a vegan diet “because of coronavirus,” just like they ordered everyone to wear masks because of coronavirus, how many people would oppose?

How many would actually resist?

It doesn’t have to make sense. Everyone wearing masks doesn’t even make sense in the context of what these “experts” say, but people are being forced to do it — some even inside of their own homes!

According to the WHO, healthy people don’t have to wear masks.

Mandatory veganism is closer than ever, and perhaps that’s why the media has stopped promoting poor Greta. They don’t want people realizing the effects of such an irrational and unnatural diet.

Meat Eaters Have Better Psychological Health Than Vegetarians and Vegans https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/05/02/meat-eaters-have-better-psychological-health-than-vegetarians-and-vegans/ Sat, 02 May 2020 00:00:00 +0000

Imagine a future where all adult women look like prepubescent kids.

Thanks to the lockdown and the coronavirus hysteria, soon there’ll be no meat to buy.

The lack of meat could worsen the negative effects that the lockdown and social isolation have on people’s mental health.

Daily Mail:

A vegetarian or vegan diet may be increasing the likelihood of depression, a US-based study has found.

People with a plant-based diet were twice as likely to take prescription drugs for mental illness and nearly three times as likely to contemplate suicide.

The report, which looked at more than 160,000 people, also found that a shocking one in three vegetarians suffer from depression or anxiety.

Researchers reviewed 18 studies examining the relationship between mental health and eating meat, involving a total of 160,257 participants.

They concluded that vegetarians and vegans had ‘significantly’ higher rates or risk of depression, anxiety and self harm.

The researchers suggest that avoiding meat may be a ‘behavioural marker’ indicating people already with poor mental health.

This is a suggestion that requires more research to back it up, the researchers say.

University of Alabama researchers write in the study: ‘Those who avoided meat consumption had significantly higher rates or risk of depression, anxiety, and/or self-harm behaviours.

‘Our study does not support avoiding meat consumption for overall psychological health benefits.’

Dr Edward Archer, from the University of Alabama and one of the study’s authors, said: ‘While the risks and benefits of vegan and vegetarian diets have been debated for centuries, our results show that meat eaters have better psychological health.

‘These findings have implications when defining what constitutes a ‘healthy diet’. Mental health may need to be emphasised when evaluating the benefits and risks of particular dietary patterns.’

That is certainly a good point.

Next time someone says that eating meat isn’t healthy, ask them how come people who don’t eat meat are twice as likely to take prescription drugs for mental illness and three times more likely to contemplate suicide, and how come they have significantly higher rates of depression, anxiety and self-harm if meat is so bad.

As the researchers suggest, avoiding meat could be something that people with poor mental health are more likely to do and not something that caused their mental health issues in the first place — meaning that vegetarianism and veganism attract the mentally ill.

There seems to be some truth to that claim.

Most prominent vegans are visibly deteriorated beyond what’s normal for their age, yet they keep avoiding nourishing foods that they crave in what appears to be an attempt to galvanize and camouflage their self-harm and self-hate as virtue.

They’ll say that they’re doing it for the animals and for the planet.

The most audacious ones are even saying that they do it for health while looking like walking corpses.

But on the other hand, avoiding meat and animal foods also deprives the body of nutrients that plants just don’t have or can’t offer in a form that the human body can utilize.

Diet is one factor that may contribute to depression, so plant-based diets are most likely functioning as some kind of negative feedback loop where people with poor mental health deprive themselves of the foods that would improve their mental health and further deteriorate their mental health in the process.

So which came first: the soybean or the soy pod?

We may never know.

The whole “ethical veganism” thing revolves around the fact that so-called ethical vegans want to avoid inflicting pain on living creatures.

Now we know for a fact that plants feel pain and are literally screaming in ultrasonic agony when they’re hurt.

Daily Mail:

A team of scientists at Tel Aviv University have discovered that some plants emit a high frequency distress sound when they undergo environmental stress.

The researchers tested tomato plants and tobacco plants by depriving them of water and by cutting their stems and then recording their response with a microphone placed ten centimeters away.

In both cases, they found the plants began to emit ultrasonic sounds between 20 and 100 kilohertz, which they believed could convey their distress to other plants and organisms in the immediate vicinity.

…

The plants also seemed to respond with different intensities of sound to different sources of stress.

The poor little green things are literally screaming for help, trying to get their plant friends to help them or do something — anything — to alleviate their ultrasonically excruciating pain.

The plant is clearly suffering.

Not being able to notice the Plant Holocaust doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening.

‘These findings can alter the way we think about the plant kingdom, which has been considered to be almost silent until now,’ the group wrote in a paper summarizing their findings. (The paper was not peer reviewed.)

The researchers used the data they had gathered in a machine learning model to predict the different frequency of sound plants might emit under other conditions, such as during wind or intense rain.

The team believes that listening for different types of sound emitted by plants could help with precision agriculture and allow farmers to identify potential problems with the crops with less guess work.

Last year, another study found that some plants registered ‘pain’ after having their leaves plucked or even touched, which caused the release of a foul tasting chemical across their leaves, believed to ward off insects.

“Humans” truly are evil creatures. The moment they discover that plants scream in painful desperation, they start thinking of ways to leverage those cries for help for financial gain.

But the real victims here aren’t the suffering plants but the starving vegans who will starve even more.

Every vegan who eats a vegan diet “to save the animals” has a moral duty now to also save the plants, so the only things that they should be eating are the fruits that naturally fall from trees and bushes without human intervention.

Just as the reason we need hate speech laws is that people aren’t supposed to say things that make someone else uncomfortable, the reason everyone needs to go vegan is that people aren’t supposed to make their food uncomfortable.

The fact that children instinctively know this without needing their parents to tell them is proof of the need to invert the natural order and let kids rule over adults.

The evil practice of enslaving innocent cows and forcing them to pick and eat all of the grass with their ruminant mouths just so men can then eat them and get all of that highly nutritious eaten grass in an instant without even breaking a sweat is an unjust, uncivilized, brutish patriarchal practice that doesn’t belong anywhere near current year.

Real men pick their own cotton and eat their own grass.

Sputnik News:

Sweden’s central supervisory authority, tasked with protecting consumer interests in matters relating to food and healthy eating habits, has accused men of sticking to a meat diet for the sake of masculinity and urged them to “challenge the meat norm”.

The Swedish National Food Agency has sparked a hot debate with a contentious Twitter post, where it shamed boys and men for eating meat, which it suggested is unhealthy and environmentally unfriendly.

“Men and boys eat the most meat, which is not good for health and environment. How can the meat norm be changed? You don’t have to eat a lot of meat to be masculine or build muscle”, the National Food Agency tweeted, adding hashtags like “sustainable food consumption”

Saying that men and boys eat the most meat and that meat is bad for the environment is no different than saying that men are guilty of harming the environment, so this is yet another open attack on men.

It should come as no surprise considering how Swedish Sweden has become.

However, many interpreted the government body’s call to “challenge the meat norm” as uncalled-for activism.

“Yet a better suggestion: Kick all left-wing activists from the National Food Agency. Meat is excellent from both a health and an environmental point of view. Grazing livestock is of crucial importance for biodiversity. ‘The climate threat’ is a huge political scam. Unkind regards,” an angry user wrote back.

“You really are the worst. Do you think men eat meat because it’s ‘masculine’? Are you really that retarded or are you just looking to provoke?”, another one wrote.

“Had I been prime minister, whoever wrote this tweet would have been kicked all the f***ing way to Finland. Alternatively, the entire authority. What the hell are you doing for MY tax money?” Pirate Party founder Rick Falkvinge tweeted.

“What in the world is this? Government activism has spread from weapons and hunting-haters in the police to meat haters at the National Food Agency. Imagine the joy of being a Swedish meat farmer being met by something like this from the state,” another user mused.

“Eat s**t!” yet another user retorted testily.

If only Swedes presented that kind of opposition to the rest of the suicidal policies pushed there, they’d all be significantly better off.

TheNational Food Agency later explained itself, tweeting that it didn’t mean to urge all people to go vegan. “On the contrary, animals grazing on natural pastures are needed. But you don’t have to eat meat to build muscle, there are many successful athletes who are vegetarians,” the agency wrote in self-defence.

Despite estimates showing that less than 10 percent of the Swedish population of over 10 million is vegetarian, the country’s media have in recent years been heavily campaigning against meat consumption, which is seen as a climate burden due to its carbon footprint.

Did a Swedish authority just assume that men want to build muscle? Are they allowed to openly talk about such stereotypes in the currentness of our year?

Supreme Vegan Doctor Greger is living proof of the benefits of not eating meat.

Indians are mostly vegetarian and they’re all dirty and ugly, and their environment is a nightmare, which goes to show that there are much more important things to take care of in regards to environmentalism before even considering eating meat as a possible problem.

Vegans all look very unhealthy and insane.

If they’re asking people to become all dirty, ugly, unhealthy and insane in order to save the planet so the billions of browns and blacks in it can continue to reproduce indefinitely, then they’d better come up with another plan to save it.

We’re gonna keep turning cows into steak.

Survey: More Americans are Eating Less Meat Because Their Kids Told Them To https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/11/20/survey-more-americans-are-eating-less-meat-because-their-kids-told-them-to/ Wed, 20 Nov 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

In Greta Thunberg’s Queendom of Eternal Climate Harmony, kids’ authority is supreme — so supreme, in fact, that kids are increasingly determining what their parents eat.

Study Finds:

Cheeseburgers, steaks, and hot dogs are synonymous with American cuisine, or at least they were at one time. According to a new survey of 2,000 Americans, if these dishes are a common part of your diet, you’re now in the minority. Less than half (47%) of the survey’s respondents said meat is a major part of their diet.

The survey, commissioned by Herbalife Nutrition, found that many Americans (23%) are adopting a “flexitarian” approach to eating. This means eating mostly vegetarian foods with the occasional inclusion of meat. Another 18% of respondents said they were fully vegetarian.

So, what’s fueling this shift in Americans’ eating habits? Among survey participants, flexitarians were the most likely group to say their food choices stemmed from trying to be more environmentally friendly (40%) or ethical (31%). Young people are also a factor; 36% of surveyed flexitarians said they adopted their new diet because their children encouraged them to do so.

Same old nonsensical arguments.

They talk about being environmentally friendly as if meat itself were the problem and not the industry and form of production. When these people talk about farting cows being bad for the planet, are they suggesting a Cow Holocaust? Should we just kill all cows? No? Then we can still have meat. Cows can eat grass, we don’t even need to feed them crops or whatever.

What’s up with adults taking dietary advice from kids though?

Would you take diet advice from Greta Thunberg, a vegan woman who is almost 17 and hasn’t gone through puberty?

All of this anti-meat stuff is based on flawed emotional arguments.

But, what about protein? For so many of us, meat is our primary source of protein, but the results of the survey make it clear there are plenty of other ways to build muscle. Among survey participants not regularly eating meat, 65% get most of their protein from shakes and protein bars, and 56% just eat other foods known to carry lots of protein like rice, beans, and soy.

…

Generationally speaking, millennials are the most likely age group to try out more plant-based foods, but across all ages more people than ever before are open to the idea.

I guess shakes and protein bars grow by eating grass too?

Imagine getting your protein from some flavored powder instead of an actual food, like meat.

Interestingly, the survey also noted that Americans living in the West (20%) and Northeast (19%) are the most likely to frequently eat “meatless” meat. Individuals from those areas were also found to be the most open to trying plant-based foods as well (51% in the West, 55% in the Northeast).

It’s clear that meatless meat is here to stay, with 70% of all respondents stating they believe it will continue to grow in popularity moving forward.

Of course, there will always be some resistant to change. For example, 16% of respondents said they “never” eat meatless meat. Perhaps, though, these respondents are so hesitant because they don’t know what is inside meatless meat. Less than half of respondents (45%) knew that meatless meat usually contains soy, and only 41% knew that wheat gluten is another common ingredient.

Yes, goy, eat your flavored goyfeed paste literally made out of soy and gluten and stop eating real foods because eating real foods and doing real things like having babies and building stuff changes the weather, and that is bad for the planet.

Prominent titless vegan Greta Thunberg sacrificed her puberty and breasts for the animals and climate.

Vegans abstain from eating animal foods because they hate themselves and humans in general, and their brain chemistry is all so messed up that they feel the most empathy towards animals and little bugs.

Vegetarians, on the other hand, have an even weirder relationship with animals where they don’t really want to kill and eat them but instead want to keep them somewhere close, possibly locked up in cages, so they can suck their tits for milk whenever they feel like while pretending that doing that is kinder to these animals than just killing them.

Very manly.

This has proven to be worse for the environment than just having some meat here and there.

Daily Mail:

Meat-lovers who are debating giving up their vice in the hope of tackling climate change may be able to carry on eating their bacon sandwiches without feeling guilty, according to a new study.

It has found that a diet containing meat, fish or dairy products, eaten just once a day, has a smaller carbon footprint than that of a vegetarian diet.

In 95 per cent of the countries analysed by Johns Hopkins University, a diet without meat is often substituted with milk and eggs.

This, the study found, is worse for the environment than eating some meat products.

Keeping animals alive is more expensive than just killing them, but we must do it because it is The Right Thing To Do.

Letting all animals in, encouraging their reproduction, feeding them and giving them our resources is Who We Are.

That is partly because raising dairy cows for milk, butter and cheese requires large amounts of energy and land, as well as fertilisers and pesticides to grow fodder.

Therefore, the industry emits vast amounts of greenhouse gases that are heating up the planet, the study said.

Diets that contain insects, small fish and molluscs, meanwhile, have as similarly small an environmental impact as plant-based vegan diets.

However, they are generally more nutritious, said researchers at the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future.

Yes, just eat cockroaches for protein.

Slimy, yet satisfying.

Do it for the climate.

Many climate activists and scientists have called for a shift to plant-based diets to keep climate change in check and reduce deforestation.

The thought process is that halting the production of red meat requires a lot of land for grazing and growing feed.

Agriculture, forestry and other land use activities accounted for nearly a quarter of man-made greenhouse gas emissions from 2007-2016, the UN climate science panel said in a flagship report last month.

But there is no one-size-fits-all solution, said Keeve Nachman, assistant professor at the Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, who led the study on diets.

In low- and middle-income countries such as Indonesia, citizens need to eat more animal protein for adequate nutrition, he told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

That means diet-related heat-trapping emissions and water use in poorer countries would need to rise to reduce hunger and malnutrition.

But those in high-income countries should reduce their consumption of meat, dairy and eggs, the study said.

High-income countries, which is an indirect way of saying white countries, should eat this:

Low-income countries, which is an indirect way of saying brown and black countries, should eat this:

The reasons why definitely don’t have anything to do with fertility, birthrates, and testosterone — it’s just their turn now.

Don’t feel bad though, at least you’re allowed and encouraged to eat bugs for protein.

It was all for nothing! Now all the veggies that she ate were for nothing! All the good that the veggies did to her body has now been offset by the damage of the evil meat!

Daily Mail:

A lifelong vegetarian claimed she ordered a vegan lasagne on a Ryanair flight and ate her meal before realising it was the meat version – but that a flight attendant only ‘shrugged’ and told her she should have noticed.

Julie Williams, who recently became a vegan, was flying back from a holiday in Malaga to Cardiff, her hometown, on August 12 when she was served the meal.

Julie Williams, ex-lifelong vegetarian.

She said it was only when she had eaten the meal that she saw the word ‘bolognese’ on the box that she realised she had been served the meat version.

The flight attendant she spoke to initially refused to apologise and did not offer a refund, she added.

Ms Williams told MailOnline that, after eating the lasagne, she had looked to see what ‘clever’ ingredients had been used becuase ‘vegan food is incredible nowadays’.

With the writing on the box in Spanish, it was only when she saw a word similar to ‘bolognese’ that she realised she had eaten meat.

She could have just checked the ingredient list before eating it if she’s that concerned about what she puts into her body.

She said: ‘I ordered the Vegan lasagne which I ate trusting they had served me a vegan lasagne.

‘I finished it and idly turned the box over and was astonished to see a word resembling bolognese in the ingredients.

‘I rushed to the flight attendant, who casually told me, yes they had given my vegan lasagne to someone else and served me meat by mistake. No apology. Nothing.

She added: ‘I said that was not acceptable, the flight attendant shrugged and said I should have known I was eating meat.

‘The very least I said is that you should refund my money. They refused. Eventually she came back and said sorry but again no refund!’

Why should she be given a refund though? She did eat the lasagna and she did enjoy it.

On her way home from Cardiff airport after the flight, Ms Williams said she had ‘violent stomach pains’, felt ‘sick as a dog’ and was ‘violently ill’.

She made a complaint to the airline the next day which was acknowledged a week later but she has still not received a formal response to her complaint, Ms Williams said.

One gram of meat is enough to destroy decades of vegetarianism and veganism. This is a dangerous substance akin to kryptonite that when ingested, remains in vegans’ and vegetarians’ bodies for up to 7 years, effectively removing their superpowers and weakening them.

This obsession with the accidental ingestion of animal foods is common among vegans and a hallmark of the pathological character of veganism.

If vegetables are so good for their bodies and they save so many animals by eating plants, why do they always freak out when they make a mistake or someone else makes a mistake that results in them ingesting small amounts of an animal product?

Do they freak out like that when they accidentally step on an ant too? Eating a bit of meat after being a lifelong vegetarian sounds as terrible as accidentally killing an ant.

They act as if vegetarianism and veganism gave them superpowers that are lost the moment they ingest a bit of meat, but when you look at long-term vegans…

Dr. Michael Greger, champion of vegan nutrition.

… What superpower do you see?

This is the reaction to a leaf injury.

Some vegetarians adopt their diets for health reasons, or simply because they don’t like meat. That’s foolish, but whatever.

On the other hand, vegetarians and vegans who think their dietary choice is more “moral” or “ethical” really piss me off.

Because these people will read articles like this without so much as a pause and just continue to feel completely righteous.

Be a chad. Kill plants and animals alike.

Gizmodo:

We tend to think of plants as helpless, passive green blobs, but a fascinating new study, in which scientists used fluorescent light to visualize alarm signals within plants, shows how our photosynthesizing friends are able to mobilize their defenses.

New research published today in Science is providing an unprecedented view of the signaling action that happens within plants when they’re under attack. A second or two after a plant receives an injury, like a chomp from a caterpillar, a warning signal radiates from the location of the wound, spreading out through the entire plant in a process that takes fewer than 120 seconds. The plant, now aware that it’s under attack—or at least, as “aware” as a plant can be—can respond to the threat by releasing chemical countermeasures.

Scientists have known about this systemwide signaling system for quite some time, but the new study, conducted by researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Japan Science and Technology Agency, and several other institutions, is the first to show this remarkable defense mechanism in action. What’s more, the study offers new insights into the biological processes behind this nervous-system like signaling, which is still poorly understood.

So basically, when plants get injured, a signal gets generated that travels throughout its body through the circulatory system, which acts basically like a slow-motion nervous system.

“We do know that if you wound a leaf, you get an electrical charge, and you get a propagation that moves across the plant,” botanist Simon Gilroy, a professor at UWM and a co-author of the new study, said in a statement. “What triggered that electric charge, and how it moved throughout the plant, were unknown.”

Gilroy and his colleague Masatsugu Toyota, who led the research, suspected calcium had something to do with it. Calcium ions, which produce an electrical charge, are known to perform signaling duties in plants, particularly in response to changing environmental conditions. Scientists have struggled to visualize this movement within plants, leading to a rather fascinating solution. To watch the calcium move in real time, Toyota and his colleagues bioengineered plants to produce a protein that fluoresces around calcium, lighting up the interiors of plants like a Christmas tree. Using advanced microscopes and biosensors, the researchers were able to track the presence and volume of the calcium in response to various injuries, including caterpillar chomps, scissor snips, and damage caused by crushing.

Plants know pain – but do they know fear?

While experimenting on mustard plants, the researchers watched the plants light up as the calcium surged away from the injury and toward their other leaves. The signal propagated at a rate of one millimeter per second, which is fast enough to reach the far corners of the plant in less than two minutes. The calcium pulses were able to spread by traveling through the plant’s vascular, or circulatory, system.

After the warning signal had fully propagated, the leaves began to release their defense-related hormones in preparation for future attacks. Plants, in addition to releasing chemicals that kickstart the repair process, can release noxious, insect-unfriendly chemicals.

This is all very interesting.

Ultimately, the process is very similar to what happens when an animal or human gets injured. A signal is sent warning the creature of the injury, which triggers the release of various hormones to help the creature deal with the threat.

So if the process is totally analogous, why should we assume that the subjective experience is totally different? In other words, why should we assume that plants don’t feel pain when injured?

Plants are more dynamic and intelligent than most people think.

They communicate with each other, adapt to their environments, have family relationships, have memories, and more.

They can sense light, sound, touch and are sensitive to various chemicals. In other words, they have sensory perceptions.

So there’s no real reason to assume that they wouldn’t have some kind of consciousness.

Lol plants are racist – they’re smarter than shitlibs.

My point here is that vegans and vegetarians don’t care about the suffering of plants, because they don’t perceive it.

This is the exact same ethical process that leads to liberalism. Liberalism is about reducing obvious suffering, while ignoring subtle suffering that the liberal can’t understand.

The liberal will want to send food to Africa to alleviate the starving Blacks, without caring that this will lead to much greater suffering in the future, due to overpopulation and ecological collapse.

The reality is that all our choices result in suffering and destruction. Real morality is all about accepting that, and consciously deciding who or what will be sacrificed.

But fools instead try to make decisions where the “suffering” occurs outside of their awareness, so that they don’t “feel bad about it.” But since they systematically make decisions based on their own ignorance, the results are usually much worse.

When it comes to diet, everything we eat is going to be body parts of beings who are alive and conscious to some extent or another. There is no “harmless” hippie diet, unless you eat only fruits and nuts, in which case the one being harmed is yourself and your line of descent.

We’re all part of the cycle of life, and the dynamics of this world, which involve constant suffering and death. Accepting that and moving on is part of becoming an adult.

This study is apparently trying to say like, women like seeing men eat meat. That it turns them on, because it is a traditionally masculine behavior.

But it goes beyond that.

Meat increases testosterone levels, while meat-free diets decrease testosterone levels. Women are attracted, fundamentally, to men with high testosterone levels, as this is a sign of virility.

Virility implies strength, sexual vigor and social dominance.

It is also linked with creativity.

You want virility.

American Psychological Association:

Past research has highlighted links between meat consumption and masculine gender role norms such that meat consumers are generally attributed more masculine traits than their vegetable-consuming counterparts. However, the direct link between gender roles and men’s food choices has been somewhat neglected in the literature. Three studies conducted in Italy investigated this link between meat and masculinity. Studies 1 and 2 analyzed female mating preference for vegetarian and omnivorous partners, confirming that women preferred omnivorous men (Study 1 and 2), rated them as more attractive (Study 1 and 2), and felt more positive about them (Study 1) than vegetarians. Moreover Study 2 showed that the attribution of masculinity mediated this relationship, such that vegetarian men were considered less attractive because they were perceived as less masculine. Study 3 tested the relationship between the endorsement of food-related gender norms and food choices in a sample of Italian men. The results showed that men who perceived vegetarianism as feminine preferred meat-based dishes for themselves and expected their female partners to choose vegetarian dishes. Together, these findings show that gender role norms prescribing that men eat meat are actively maintained by both women and men and do in fact guide men’s food choices. It’s funny to me you’re even allowed to say this stuff in academia these days. You wouldn’t expect it.

But yes: women are attracted to masculinity.

And we can do chicken or the egg as far as whether meat makes men masculine or masculine men prefer meat, but the fact is that both are true.

I will add that you need to eat HEALTHY meat.

In particular, I’d advise you to avoid chicken altogether. “Free range” does not mean they are not fed poison, nor does it even necessarily ensure that they are not injected with growth hormone, which your own body will respond to by creating estrogen.

Maybe USDA certified organic chicken is okay. Who knows. We do know it is insanely expensive.

My advice is to stick to beef.

I gave a lot of advice about testosterone and food a few days ago. If you missed that, go check it, and realize that science agrees with me.
