A black bear waltzed into an Arizona cabin Thursday and mauled a 15-year-old boy watching TV before the teen’s brave family chased the bruin off.

Brigham Hawkins, who suffers from a rare neurological disorder, was watching television after a long day of fishing in Alpine when the bear walked through the open front door of his cabin.

The black bear took several swipes at Hawkins, sparking a furious effort by his loved ones, who were in a nearby cabin, to fend off the beast after they heard the boy screaming, according to reports.

“He hadn’t realized it because it came in from behind, and it reached over and like swiped at his face twice. Got him on the nose and the cheek and then went ahead and got his forehead and the top of his head,” his mother Carol Hawkins told AZ Family.

Brigham’s older brother, Parker, heard the commotion and rushed to his sibling. At first, he thought it was a giant dog, but quickly realized it was a bear when it started pursuing him, his mother told 12 News.

“Parker ran up on the porch and went into the other cabin to get away from the bear,” she recalled.

“And the bear just paced back and forth on our porch.”

Meanwhile, Brigham’s father sprinted to help his son in the cabin as he suffered injuries from the brazen attack, Carol Hawkins said. He made it safely and called 911.

Police called Denita Williams in April and gave her the address of a gas station in their town of Jackson, Mississippi and asked how long it would take for her to get there.

“When I pulled up, all I see is this crime tape,” Williams told CBS News.

Her son, Kenland Thompson, Jr., was shot and killed while putting air in his tires. He was 20 years old.

“The coroner had already taken his body,” she said. “He was already gone.”

Three months later, no one has been arrested for the murder of Kenland Thompson, Jr.

“I gave them names,” Williams said, describing how she told police she would help them investigate the case herself. “I felt like I was going crazy, giving them so much. They’re not doing their job.”

Across a nation that is already in the grips of a rise in violent crime, murders are going unsolved at a historic pace, a CBS News investigation has found. A review of FBI statistics shows that the murder clearance rate — the share of cases each year that are solved, meaning police make an arrest or close the case due to other reasons — has fallen to its lowest point in more than half a century.

“It’s a 50-50 coin flip,” says Thomas Hargrove, who runs the Murder Accountability Project, which tracks unsolved murders nationwide. “It’s never been this bad. During the last seven months of 2020, most murders went unsolved. That’s never happened before in America.”

Police are far less likely to solve a murder when the victim is Black or Hispanic, according to CBS News’ analysis. In 2020, the murders of White victims were about 30% more likely to be solved than in cases with Hispanic victims, and about 50% more than when the victims were Black, the data show.

In dozens of interviews across the country, police and criminal justice experts have offered a range of explanations for these trends. Some factors are evident when visiting communities such as Jackson, Mississippi, which has suffered from one of the nation’s highest murder rates.

In that city of about 160,000 people, the police department responded to 153 murders in the past year but has just eight homicide detectives to work that caseload. FBI guidelines suggest homicide detectives should be covering no more than five cases at a time.

Police Chief James Davis said his department needs more of everything to keep up with the violence.

“The whole system is backlogged,” Davis said. “I could use more police officers. I could use more homicide detectives, but if the state is backed up, the court is backed up, we will still have the same problem by developing these cases that we’re already doing.”

Police are also contending with a breakdown in trust between their officers and the communities they serve, a result of decades of tensions that spilled over during high-profile cases of police misconduct in recent years.

That has made it harder for police to receive tips or obtain help from witnesses, said Danielle Outlaw, the commissioner of the Philadelphia Police Department. Outlaw told CBS News there is a history of “systemic inequities that contribute to the mistrust” in many communities most affected by crime.

“We’ve gotten in our own way,” Outlaw said, referring to past episodes of police misconduct. “It has to be a two-way street, as it is with any relationship.”

The challenge of closing murder cases is reflected in national statistics, but is especially acute in some locations, the CBS News review found.

“I don’t have any hope in the system”Some states have struggled with consistently low clearance rates, CBS News’ analysis shows. From Maryland to Texas, from Michigan to California, families who buried loved ones too soon await justice, often going years without answers.

Three-year-old Terrell Mayes, Jr. had celebrated Christmas with his family just one day before he was killed by a stray bullet, his life cut short as he fled up the stairs to safety inside his north Minneapolis home. More than 10 years later, his mother, Marsha Mayes, still grieves — and still longs for the day that her son’s killer will be brought to justice.

“I want the killer to know you can’t run,” Mayes said. “God knows everything.”

But she still knows little more than what she did more than a decade ago: that the person who killed her child hasn’t been caught.

During the 10 years since Terrell’s murder, the Minneapolis Police Department recorded 418 homicides committed and only 221 solved — a clearance rate of about 53%, according to CBS News’ analysis of FBI data.

In Los Angeles, Barbara Pritchett-Hughes mourns her own loss. Her son Devon Hughes, 15, was caught in the crossfire outside of a church in 2007. His killer was caught just four days after the shooting and is in prison to this day.

But nine years later, in 2016, another tragedy: her other son, DeAndre Hughes, was shot and killed just steps away from their front door.

“Not again, not again,” Barbara said she remembers thinking after she heard the news. “And I prayed, and I asked God to don’t allow this to happen again.”

Barbara said she initially thought DeAndre’s murder would be solved just as quickly as Devon’s. But some six years later, she still doesn’t know who’s responsible.

In 2020, the Los Angeles Police Department reported a clearance rate of about 55% — slightly better than the national average. But that clearance rate masks a deeper problem: like in many cities, police are less likely to solve the murders of Black victims.

Between 2016 and 2020, the average clearance rate for Black homicide victims in Los Angeles was just 45%, according to CBS News’ analysis of data submitted by the LAPD to the FBI. For White victims, it was 70%.

The LAPD recorded 351 homicides in 2020 — 36% more than the previous year. Chief Michael Moore pointed to that spike, along with the pandemic, as explanations for the city’s clearance rate. He also cited a lack of community trust in police that prevents potential witnesses from coming forward.

“The solving of a crime, a homicide particularly, is dependent on community trusting police,” Moore said.

The city of Los Angeles is now offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of DeAndre’s killer. Barbara implores anyone from the community to come forward.

“Tell, because if this was your loved one you would want someone to tell,” she said.

An incomplete picture?In Chicago, police don’t report clearance data through the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting program, so CBS News submitted a Freedom of Information Act request for Chicago Police Department (CPD) data. In 2020, that data showed, the department’s murder clearance rate was about 44% — 16% less than the national average.

But that doesn’t show the whole picture. The CPD data distinguished between cases that were cleared because a suspect was arrested and charged, and those cleared for other reasons. Those cases — so-called “exceptionally cleared” murders — are closed even though a suspect wasn’t prosecuted.

Exceptional clearances are supposed to be rare — reserved for unusual cases such as when police identify the suspect, but that suspect is dead, Hargrove said. That’s not the case in Chicago, where, in 2020, half of the homicide cases police closed were exceptionally cleared.

One of those exceptionally cleared cases was that of Diego Villada, who, in April 2017, was murdered in an alley in broad daylight on the city’s Northwest Side after being jumped by two men. His sister, Anna Villada, watched it happen.

“One of the dudes told Diego, ‘Start running, because this is the day that you die,'” Anna said.

Diego tried to get away but was shot in the head. Anna tried desperately to save him, but it was too late. He died in the hospital two days later.

Anna said she made direct eye contact with Diego’s killer immediately after the shooting and described him to police. The man she identified was arrested the same day, but wasn’t charged due to lack of evidence, according to spokespeople from both CPD and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.

Police exceptionally cleared his murder case due to that lack of evidence exactly four years after he was killed, on April 1, 2021.

Without those exceptionally cleared cases like Diego’s, CPD’s 2021 murder clearance rate was just 24%, CBS News’ analysis shows.

In other words, three out of four killers in Chicago are still on the street. This lack of accountability perpetuates the cycle of violence, according to Arthur Lurigio, who teaches criminal justice at Loyola University Chicago.

“When 70% of homicide homicides don’t lead to an arrest, that’s a critical mass of survivors of homicide victims that are never going to experience the justice that they deserve,” Lurigio said. “So, they bury their child and have to live with it for the rest of their lives, feeling that there’s been no closure on the matter.”

You couldn’t fix this problem without actual racist policing.

You would have to basically have a military occupation of black neighborhoods, and you would have to do really, really hardcore broken window policing.

There is a theory called “broken window policing” that says that if you let small crimes go unpunished (as for example, someone breaking out a window), it leads to bigger crimes. This is actually stupid and untrue, because poor white people live in shitty neighborhoods and commit petty crime constantly and don’t murder each other. It’s a fake theory designed to give an excuse to arrest and imprison blacks for petty crimes before they commit a murder.

But you’d have to do that. You’d have to arrest any black for any crime, and just mass incarcerate them. And it would have to be race specific. That is literally the only solution, and if you’re not going to do that, then you might as well just stop talking about the murder rate completely.

Obviously, blacks didn’t used to commit this many murders, and it is a result of the culture that has developed mostly in the post-“civil rights” era. It relates primarily to fatherlessness. At least 8 out of 10 blacks don’t have a father in the home, and probably half of those have never even met their father. So banning aid to single mothers and figuring out other ways to punish blacks for illegitimacy would be the place to start.

Or you could just blame whites for all black behavior and call it a day.

However, it may also interest you that a recent poll from Echelon Insights showed that Trump would also be Prime Minister if we had a multiparty system.

Nationalists scored 24% in the poll of over 1,000 American registered voters, which framed the questions in terms of a multiparty system. Conservatives were less popular than nationalists, scoring only 19%. However, these two scored more together than the combined left parties, which scored only 35%.

Most likely, in a parliamentary system, this would mean that the head of the nationalist party would be Prime Minister.

The poll also included a technocrat option, which is pro-corporate business and anti-family. That scored 10%. If that party were to combine with the left, that would give them a higher portion of the vote, which would make room for a “Democrat” PM.

The most notable thing about the poll is that nationalism has gained 8 points since the same poll was done in October of 2020, with conservatism losing 6 points.

Insofar as we are able to draw anything from these numbers, it seems that the election debacle has increased nationalistic sentiment among the public.

This is why we need more and more immigration – Americans are racists, and they need to be punished.

There is no more fitting punishment for being against immigration than to be vibrantly culturally enriched with the untold benefits of population replacement level mass immigration by third world peasants.

A new Cato Institute poll suggests Joe Biden’s policies, which critics say encourage surging immigration may be out of step with public opinion, as Americans broadly prefer low levels of new residents flowing into the country.

The poll, which was released on Monday, showed that 68% of Americans prefer a “low level” of immigration, compared with 23% who would tolerate a “high level.” In fact, respondents in every political category favored low immigration numbers, including 79% of Republicans, 58% of Democrats, 68% of independents and 58% of immigrants themselves. An additional 9% said they wanted immigration to be stopped entirely.

Drilling down further into the numbers suggests that low-immigration sentiment may be even stronger than the survey responses indicate. The US typically admits about a million immigrants per year, and among those who said they’d tolerate a high level of immigration, 27% would prefer the inflows to be lower than they are currently. An additional 22% said they wanted the total to be kept at a million.

In other words, only 51% of the 23% of Americans who said they favoured high levels of immigration actually wanted the yearly influx to increase, the Cato figures showed. And that’s coming from a research outfit that has advocated for expanded and deregulated immigration.

The institute appeared to try to explain away those results, saying, “The fact that 1 million sounds like a large number may have influenced answers. However, out of 300 million people, 1 million is 0.33.”

Public views on President Joe Biden’s policies suggest that most Americans disagree with Cato’s immigration messaging, however. A Washington Post-ABC News poll released on Sunday showed that just 33% of Americans approve of how Biden has handled the US-Mexico border issue since taking office in January. Even among Democrats, while 94% of respondents said they approved of his overall performance, only 63% gave him a thumbs-up when it came to managing border matters.

A separate poll, conducted by Harvard CAPS/Harris in mid-June, showed that 74% of registered voters consider the surge in illegal border crossings that has taken place since Biden took office to be a “crisis.”

Although 58% of Democrats in the Cato survey said they preferred low levels of immigration, many of those same respondents claimed those who wanted inflows to be reduced were motivated by racism. About 70% of Democrats said racist beliefs motivated those who wanted immigration to be reduced. Ironically, more than one in four of those who said they preferred high levels of immigration – who were primarily Democrats – separately said they wanted the yearly totals to be lower than the typical level of around a million.

It turns out, Democrats truly are the real racists.

Workers on Tuesday began removing the body of a former slave trader, Ku Klux Klan leader, and Confederate general from a park in Memphis, Tennessee.

The remains of Confederate Lt. Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife Mary will be moved to a museum dedicated to the Confederacy after an out of court agreement was reached last year between the local chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the nonprofit Memphis Greenspace, which owns Health Sciences Park, local station WREG had previously reported.

Memphis Greenspace is an NGO that was set up specifically to bypass state laws that said you can’t remove any statues/monuments/etc. from public property.

The race traitor Democrat mayor then started selling parks to this NGO for around $1,000 each so they could remove the monuments, because it’s okay when a private company does it. The Constitution says only the government can’t dig up your corpse.

The park, which has contained Forrest’s tomb since the start of the 20th century, was previously named after the late racist leader and featured a statue of him on a horse. Both tributes were removed within the last eight years.

“I think this is symbolic of where we are heading as a country, as a nation, that we can be united from many,” Van Turner, president of Memphis Greenspace, told reporters, adding that he believes the move is a “win-win scenario for everyone.”

This process is a compromise between Memphis Greenspace, the non-profit who owns the park & removed the Forrest statue in 2017 after months of protests from Take Em Down 901 & the Forrest family.

The removal of the tomb didn’t happen without protest, however.

A man who was reportedly volunteering at the site staged a one-man demonstration before local media, dumping bricks on top of a Black Lives Matter mural that had been painted on nearby pavement, and interrupting a local Black councilwoman as she tried holding a press conference.

Councilwoman Tami Sawyer, who identified herself as the descendent of slaves, had pushed for the tomb’s removal. Videos posted to social media show that, as she attempted to speak with local media, Sawyer was repeatedly interrupted by the man, who hurled obscenities at her, waved a Confederate flag, and loudly sang “Dixie Land” ― a song that pays homage to the south ― behind her.

“We are not post-racial America, we are not post-racial Memphis, this hatred and this racism is large and loud,” she said as the man continued to make a ruckus behind her.

If in 1976, before the release of the TV film “Roots,” you would have told a black person like Tami Sawyer that her ancestors were slaves hundreds of years ago, she would not have known what the word “slave” means, as blacks have a very limited vocabulary that only relates to things in their life. If you’d explained what the institution of slavery was, she would have said: “Dayyyyyyyum. You know, I mighta be has heard somefin bot dat. Yo says dat shit be iz happen in hundreds year? U.S guidelines encouraging Americans to consume dairy are racist, according to a leading physician.

Dr. Milton Mills – who is best known for his appearance in documentary What the Health – stars in this video by health advocacy organization Switch4Good.

The video looks at how dairy recommendations disproportionately affect people of color, who have a higher likelihood of lactose intolerance than white people.

The video shows footage of Dr. Milton Mills speaking to the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee last year. The Committee, which is comprised of nationally recognized nutrition and medical researchers, academics, and practitioners, updates the dietary guidelines every five years. It invites experts to speak and share current scientific and medical evidence in nutrition.

According to Dr. Mills, he has seen illness caused by the committee’s guidelines. “The vast majority of people of color in this country are intolerant to the lactose that’s in milk. Yet because they think they have to eat this stuff, they go out, eat it, get sick, and think they have some sort of intestinal problem. When I encourage them to stop eating dairy, their problems clear up,” he said.

If it isn’t explicitly mentioned that people who are lactose intolerant should avoid stuff with lactose in it, then they probably assumed you’d figure it out for yourself.

Which you kinda should, since it isn’t brain surgery.

If you’re allergic to a food, just don’t eat it.

It doesn’t mean it’s not healthy in general, it just means you can’t have it.

Still, I’m shocked he didn’t mention the most obvious solution to this problem, which would be for him and the other blacks to sail off to Ghana and decide their own dietary guidelines there, free from the specter of milk supremacy.

Speaking about the inclusion of dairy in dietary guidelines in the video, she says: “In white people, or people who have been milking cows – which are inherently mostly Northern European white people – we actually have a genetic mutation that keeps that lactase enzyme turned on through adulthood.

“So we are the abnormal ones. And a lot of America’s population, as well as the world’s population, who cannot tolerate cow’s milk in a much higher percentage is 86 percent of African descent. And 95-98 percent of people of Asian heritage can’t tolerate lactose or the casein in cow’s milk at all.

“And so, we presented this idea of food injustice to the committee to say, ‘hey listen, a really large majority of your people can’t tolerate this and it’s actually making them very sick’…For the USDA to continue to put its stamp of approval on a product that is unnecessary and unhealthy and rooted in a highly oppressive system is unconscionable.”

Also, the “mostly Northern European” thing is wrong – lactose intolerance is very rare all across Europe, the place where it has the highest incidence is southern Italy, and even there it’s only like 20-30% of the population.

According to a local news report, Georgia Gwinnett College Professor Fang Zhou, an immigrant from China, is facing calls for his termination after he expressed unpopular views about illegal immigration.

“I am against political correctness. I speak truth to power in class and my students learn about the financial drain of illegal immigration on the economy and the high crime rates of illegal immigrants,” Zhou said in a social media post. “My students are ‘woke’ and are overwhelmingly against illegal immigration after taking my class.”

Zhou expressed his concerns further in a short interview with the Atlantic Journal-Constitution. “If you are going to reward illegal immigrants, there will be more illegal immigrants,” he said.

A 22-year old female University of Utah student reported her business professor to campus administrators for, among other things, assigning too many historical texts written by influential male economists of the past.

“I understand the importance of studying the work of those before us and the importance of context,” wrote the student in a complaint to the university’s bias reporting system, where she labeled the professor’s transgressions “derogatory,” “degrading,” and “intimidating,” thereby causing a “hostile learning environment.”

The report also accused the professor of frequent sexist language, but the bulk of the complaint centered on his assigned readings for the business course.

“I believe it to no longer be necessary when teaching the foundations of our country’s economic system and those who helped build [its] ideals to be presented in conjunction with their sexist beliefs that have already planted their roots within our global and local communities,” the student stated in her complaint, filed in December 2018 and recently obtained by The College Fix through a public records act request.

In the female student’s bias report, she stated that while her professor “never applauded these philosophers on their sexist beliefs,” he “never outright said they were wrong” and “continued to place them upon a pedestal.”

Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House adviser, is the son of New Jersey real estate magnate Charles Kushner.

In 2016, when it appeared that Jared Kushner would join the incoming Trump administration, the public took an interest in the circumstances of his college acceptance.

It turns out that Kushner, the husband of Ivanka Trump, was admitted into Harvard shortly after his father pledged a $2.5million donation to the university, according to ProPublica.

Daniel Golden, the author of The Price of Admission, revealed that Kushner was accepted despite the fact that administrators at his high school said he was a less-than-stellar student.

‘There was no way anybody in the administrative office of the school thought he would on the merits get into Harvard,’ a former administrator at The Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey said.

‘His GPA did not warrant it, his SAT scores did not warrant it.

‘We thought for sure, there was no way this was going to happen.

‘Then, lo and behold, Jared was accepted.

‘It was a little bit disappointing because there were at the time other kids we thought should really get in on the merits, and they did not.’

Imagine how those other kids feel now.

Not only did he get into Harvard, but he’s now the unelected President of the United States. All because he’s a rich Jew.
