I was on a roll with the Epstein articles and I have a really good one that was almost finished. But I was fasting and then stopped and I think I got refeeding syndrome. Terrible runs for days now. Anyway, I’ll finish the Epstein thing tomorrow or whatever, but now this Thai-Cambodia thing has blown up and I’m going to sloppily post a forum reply I wrote, just so I’m posting something.

This is basically India-Pakistan 2, though less complicated. Thai is 100% the aggressor here. The UN and the whole world recognizes the disputed area as Cambodia, and there isn’t a moral justification in the way there is with Kashmir (Kashmir is 97% Muslim, whereas Preah Vihar is as far as I know 0% Thai, although Thai/Khmer is less defined since it’s solely a language, with same genes/religion).

Anyway, you can argue who started the India-Pakistan thing, in this current case, Thai just all of the sudden started mounting forces on the border then killed a Khmer soldier in May, then the PM of Cambodia leaked a phone call of the party gurl PM of Thai apologizing and calling him “uncle,” then she had to resign and Thai got angry about the leak and made moves last week.

Right now, the issue is Cambodia used old BM-21s to respond to Thailand and (presumably accidentally, these are not precise systems) blew up a 7/11 killing like a dozen people. Then Thais who crossed the border got their legs blown off by landmines, which Cambodia claims (at least plausibly) were Pol Pots mines, not new mines. So now Thai is saying that although it is an objective matter that they started the whole thing, they have to take revenge for the 7/11 and landmines by… no one knows what exactly. Are they saying they’re going to occupy the disputed territory?

Anyway, Cambodia for obvious reasons is crawling with Chinese military, but China hates getting involved in anything, and they definitely do not care much if Thailand wants to steal a hundred square kilos of land.

But it is what I predicted, yeah, where there is so much war everywhere, everyone is like “well, we can do that too.” Thailand started this for domestic reasons, they have a lot of problems, but it seems that Cambodia escalated with the release of the call because it’s a lot better for them domestically than it is for Thailand (just basic rally round the flag), and also, they know there can’t be a real war because of the Chinese visiting forces in Cambodia. “Visiting” being sort of a euphemism. I don’t even know if the Chinese use that term, it’s an American term for the occupation of Germany/Korea/Japan/Philippines/etc. Of the American occupations though, Korea is the only one that wants it, while Cambodia wants as many Chinese soldiers and equipment in their country as is possible.

I think this is going to be solved soon, but just like with Pakistan-India, you’re putting a band-aid on a bullet hole. Thailand is going to have to back down and basically tacitly admit this was all their fault and totally unprovoked (or rather, provoked by the French 100 years ago). And at any time the US can go to Thai and be like “hey we’ve got a bunch of planes and missiles and shit, you want to go to war with the Chinese in Cambodia?” and Thai will say “we thought you’d never ask.”

That was the reply, but since this is an official post on the official site, I should maybe add some background information. Preah Vihar is an ancient Hindu temple which is of course now used as a Buddhist site like all the ancient Hindu sites in Indochina. When the French left Cambodia (which they occupied while not occupying Thailand), they drew a border for Cambodia. Before the late 19th century, there wasn’t really borders in the modern sense in the third world, and a lot of these border drawings were a disaster (look at Africa or many Middle East countries). In Cambodia it was pretty easy, as Khmers were a cohesive group so you weren’t forcing a bunch of different ethnic/religious groups to live under a single government. But there was never a clear border before, and both sides wanted the temple in the border region. The French gave it to Cambodia and then the UN repeatedly said the French border was valid and Thailand should respect it.

There is a lot of stuff about the fact that the ruling families in Thailand and Cambodia were getting along pretty well until the Khmer PM (technically the old PM, father of the current PM, but still the primary authority in the country) leaked the call which appeared to show that the 38 year old party gurl Thai PM not only admitted Thailand was at fault, but also admitted she didn’t have control over her own military. It’s hilarious he recorded this call then just immediately posted it online, and it certainly revealed the nature of the situation, but the party gurl’s father, who is arguably the most powerful man in Thailand, viewed this as a personal betrayal, and has actually stated publicly that this whole thing is now personal. Saying “I’m settling a personal score” is a weird thing to say when dozens of people are now dead. Or at least it seems weird to Westerners.

There are 72 million people in Thailand and 17 million in Cambodia, and neither country has nukes, meaning it isn’t exactly like Pakistan-India. (It was so funny when Pakistan said “when don’t have the rocket systems to send these nukes anywhere but at you – they are only for you.”) But the strategic importance of Cambodia to China (not to mention the billions in investment) means that in some sense, Cambodia has the upper hand. Despite the fact that the US frames China as “aggressive,” their last military action was in 1979 – to protect Cambodia from a Vietnamese invasion. (For the record, the US has been in dozens of conflicts since 1979, making it pretty cartoonish for them to accuse China of “aggressiveness.”)

With as passive as China is, they’re not going to let Cambodia get actually invaded in a serious way by US-backed Thailand. And the fact that Thailand is the aggressor – having started it unprovoked and then literally gone around saying it’s a personal vendetta – means that China doesn’t really have to worry about optics in the way they do in a lot of other places. It’s unfortunate the 7/11 got blown up, but it’s pretty obviously an accident, and it was done after Thais had already bombed Cambodia. Further, Cambodia is saying Thailand is using cluster bombs, which is probably true (people lie in wars but in this case, Thailand’s actions are so egregious and obvious that no one on the Khmer side needs to lie – they could have said the 7/11 bombing was a false flag and didn’t, just said it was an accident). The UN will presumably investigate the cluster bomb claims as well as the claims that the mines were Pol Pot’s and not new mines. Just based on facts though, it’s really unlikely they are new mines. They were on the Thai side of the border, so the idea that Cambodia is sending special forces to mine the Thai side while the whole (relative small area) is swarming with soldiers and drones is sort of a ridiculous claim. And again, Thailand, by everyone’s admission, started this. So blaming them for anything is silly.

I mean, I’m the anti-Jew-Faggot Empire guy, so I want to do a full disclosure and say of course I support the Khmer side against the gay marriage, legal weed, US-aligned Thai side. But I’m just giving you facts here. No one, including the Thais themselves, claim that Cambodia started this. Again, there are parallels to Pakistan-India, but in that case, both sides could make claims the other side started it. In this case, Thailand had political problems, and just up and decided to mount their forces on the Khmer border and start talking about retaking territory that has been determined a part of Cambodia since 1907.

So, I’ll just repeat: it’s very unlikely that this will spin out of control in the immediate future. Donald Trump has made threats about tariffs, and every country responds to these, but the bitterness is not going to go away when the conflict stops, and it is yet another place on the planet where war could break out in a serious way, and definitely would break out if there was any serious conflict between the US and China.

These simmering and potentially hot areas exist all over the world. No government is really happy with their borders, and in general, the majority of populations of countries will always support their government in a war.

Finally, I just want to point out the obvious: if the US actually believed in a “rules based order,” they would be sending infinity weapons to Cambodia to defend their sacred border and the CIA would be all over reddit calling for “volunteers” to go fight to defend the sacred border.

In actual reality, borders are not sacred in any way, virtually all of them are completely arbitrary, with the least arbitrary being those that were settled by wars that ended in serious defeat of the country with the counter-claim, such as the US Mexico border, where the Mexicans got so wrecked that no one can seriously question the validity of the border. But borders are a new thing, historically, and they exist for purely practical reasons. The claims after the Russian invasion that “borders are sacred” was the weirdest nonsense ever, especially from the US, which did Kosovo and was, at the time Russia invaded the Ukraine, trying to do Kurdistan. And, should I even have to say it, is the biggest supporter of Israel, which is the least border-respecting country on earth. When Assad fell last year, Israel annexed a further 400 square kilometers of Syria.

A world order cannot be run by a country with no principles and no attempt at fairness in regulating international disputes. The UN, for all my criticisms of it, is a place where all countries can meet and hash out these kinds of disputes, but the US simply refuses to recognize anything they say as meaning anything. We need a new world order, where conflicts are not solved by slogans and dumb emotional bullshit. There is no logical reason that with the nature of technology and international trade that war should even exist at all anymore (with maybe the exception of really primitive areas of Africa, but even then, third parties should be able to mediate conflicts in a way that is satisfactory to all parties).

The problem is that the US is the current Big Boss and it is run by Jews who like war because they don’t respect anyone’s right to self-determination, believing that they are God’s chosen ones and therefore have a divine right to decide how everyone on earth behaves, and with therefore use both social engineering programs and violence in order to enforce their vision of a world shaped in their own image.

More than 900 Native American children died in federally-operated boarding schools over a period of nearly a century, the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs said in a report issued Tuesday.

The report is the culmination of an investigation ordered in 2021 by Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, the first Native American to hold that role in government.

After conducting years of interviews with survivors and their families and examining the records of more than 400 schools, the department concluded that at least 973 children died attending the schools. The report cautions this should not be taken as a definitive count, as there are likely other deaths that were not accounted for.

Interior staff also identified 74 marked and unmarked grave sites across 65 schools.

Between 1871 and 1969, the federal government appropriated the equivalent of $23.3 billion for the boarding school programs. Students at the schools were forced to cut their hair and punished for speaking tribal languages, part of a broader effort by the government to forcibly assimilate them.

Lieut. Richard Henry Pratt, founder of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in Carlisle, Pa., coined the m­­otto “kill the Indian, save the man” to summarize the schools’ mission.

“The federal government – facilitated by the Department I lead – took deliberate and strategic actions through federal Indian boarding school policies to isolate children from their families, deny them their identities, and steal from them the languages, cultures and connections that are foundational to Native people. These policies caused enduring trauma for Indigenous communities that the Biden-Harris administration is working tirelessly to repair,” Haaland said in a statement.

Cuba first unveiled details of the plot last December, when authorities said a Cuban man residing in the United States arrived on the island by jetski, armed with guns, ammunition and military gear, to recruit others and commit acts of violence.

A subsequent seven-month investigation, said Víctor Álvarez, a lead criminal investigator with Cuba’s Interior Ministry, unveiled a broader plan that includes participation by 32 Cuban residents and a U.S.-based group called La Nueva Nación Cubana, which Cuban authorities say continues to plot attacks on Cuba from U.S. soil.

Cuba said it had notified the U.S. government agencies of the results of the investigation, but said the individuals continue to act with impunity.

“These individuals continue to act with impunity in North American territory, organizing, financing and supporting activities of a violent nature in order to subvert the internal order of our country,” Alvarez said.

The U.S. State Department said it was aware of the most recent allegations.

“U.S. law enforcement prosecutes individuals based on U.S. law and does not take direction from foreign governments,” a state department official told Reuters on Monday via email.

Iran seized a tanker with Iraqi crude destined for Turkey on Thursday in retaliation for the confiscation last year of the same vessel and its oil by the United States, Iranian state media reported, a move likely to stoke regional tensions.

The seizure of the Marshall Islands-flagged St Nikolas coincides with weeks of attacks by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militias targeting Red Sea shipping routes.

“After the theft of Iranian oil by the United States last year, St Nikolas tanker was seized by Iran’s Navy this morning with a judicial order … it is en route to Iranian ports,” the semi-official Fars news agency reported, citing a statement by the Navy.

The St Nikolas, was seized by the United States last year in a sanctions enforcement operation when it sailed under a different name, Suez Rajan. Following the move, Iran warned the U.S. that it would “not go unanswered”.

Yeah, but they didn’t answer it then.

They answered it now, after a year of meetings with the Chinese and the Russians, and after the US exhausted its military stocks in an insane “all-in” on a border skirmish in the former USSR.

They did it after Israel committed itself to a mass child slaughter in Gaza.

They did it when they hold cards.

The St Nikolas was boarded by armed intruders as it sailed close to the Omani city of Sohar, according to British maritime security firm Ambrey, and its AIS tracking system was turned off as it headed in the direction of the Iranian port of Bandar-e-Jask.

The ship loaded 145,000 metric tonnes of oil in the Iraqi port of Basra and was heading to Aliaga in western Turkey via the Suez Canal, its operator Empire Navigation told Reuters, adding that it had lost contact with the vessel.

The Suez Rajan was carrying more than 980,000 barrels of Iranian crude oil last year when it was seized and the oil confiscated in the U.S. sanctions enforcement operation.

The American people are apparently on-board for total war. They don’t have any idea what that means, because they’ve been playing games in the third world for 80 years and calling that “war,” but they are fine with a big war, as far as I can tell.

I’m still skeptical it will actually happen. Everything right now says that Blinken and Sullivan are trying to calm Bibi down by any means possible.

However, there is likely going to be something in Yemen, and we’ll just have to wait and see how far that spreads.

A prominent Sikh activist who was reportedly the target of a foiled assassination attempt on US soil has accused India of “transnational terrorism” after Washington raised concerns the Indian government may have had knowledge of the plot.

The Financial Times reported on Wednesday that the US had thwarted the plot to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, an American and Canadian citizen, after the June murder of another Sikh separatist leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in a Vancouver suburb.

“The foiled attempt on my life on American soil by the Indian agents is transnational terrorism which is a threat to the US sovereignty, freedom of speech and democracy, so I will let the US government respond to this threat,” Pannun said in a statement to the Guardian, adding India was “using mercenaries” to target and kill Sikh activists who support calls for an independent Sikh homeland.

Pannun said his focus “is not threats to my life” but instead on organizing an upcoming symbolic separatist referendum in San Francisco.

Washington has raised concerns with New Delhi that the Indian government may have had knowledge of the plot.

It was unclear when or how US officials became aware of the plot or how the alleged assassination was derailed, but the White House said it was taking the allegations seriously.

A White House spokesperson, Adrienne Watson, said in a statement that Indian officials “expressed surprise and concern” at the accusations, suggesting extraterritorial assassinations were “not their policy”.

Why would you even bother asking them? If you have no evidence?

“We understand the Indian government is further investigating this issue and will have more to say about it in the coming days. We have conveyed our expectation that anyone deemed responsible should be held accountable,” said Watson.

The protest to Delhi was registered after the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi, was welcomed on a state visit by the US president, Joe Biden, in June, the report said.

The report came two months after Canada said there were “credible” allegations linking Indian agents to the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in a Vancouver suburb. India has rejected Canada’s accusations.

So, we went over this with the alleged assassination in Canada: the West is trying to bully India, so it makes absolute sense that they would stage these sorts of events and then go on the world stage and be outraged.

The United States and Western nations including the United Kingdom and Germany on Monday skipped an event at the United Nations marking the 75th anniversary of the dispossession of Palestinians after Israel called for a boycott.

The event, the first of its kind to be held by the UN, commemorated the Nakba or “catastrophe” – when roughly 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled from their homes in what is now Israel. The commemoration was boycotted by Israeli officials, who also urged diplomats of other nations not to participate.

On Sunday, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, sent a letter to other UN ambassadors “deeply urging” them not to take part in what he called a “shameful Nakba event,” according to a copy of the letter obtained by CNN. Erdan said “Such events only serve to demonize Israel and further push away any chance for reconciliation.”

The US and the UK were among 30 countries that voted against a UN General Assembly resolution in December to adopt this year’s commemoration. Erdan said he has managed to convince “a number of countries” to boycott Monday’s event.

The spokesman for the US mission to the UN, Nate Evans, said Monday that the US, along with other countries including Germany and the UK, never planned to attend Monday’s event, because it has “longstanding concerns over anti-Israel bias within the UN system.”

“We do not support events organized by bodies designed to perpetuate anti-Israel bias,” Evans said.

The UN’s website for the event and a video it posted about the Nakba largely avoided mention of Israel, focusing instead on the suffering of the Palestinians.

In recent months, Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador Erdan have led an effort to persuade countries not to take part in Monday’s Palestinian memorial plans at the UN headquarters in New York.

“Attending this despicable event means destroying any chance of peace by adopting the Palestinian narrative calling the establishment of the state of Israel a disaster,” Erdan said on Sunday. He said that “the real Nakba” was the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Jews from Arab nations following the establishment of Israel.

An attempt to block commemoration of the event in Washington, DC last week did however succeed. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy canceled a Wednesday event sponsored by Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib meant to commemorate the Nakba, saying it’s “wrong for members of Congress to traffic in antisemitic tropes about Israel.” Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American US congresswoman, said McCarthy “wants to rewrite history and erase the existence and truth of the Palestinian people, but he has failed to do so.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who spoke at the UN event on Monday, urged the world body to make May 15 an annual commemoration of “the Palestinian plight, which is a plight and a tragedy for humanity as a whole.”

“The main step that the Israeli government should take is to acknowledge, with its partners, its responsibility for this Nakba… for the killing, for the displacement, for the destruction,” Abbas said.

“We demand today officially, in accordance with international law and international resolutions, to make sure that Israel respects these resolutions or suspend Israel’s membership of the UN,” Abbas said, referring to UN resolutions over the years that Palestinians view as guaranteeing their rights.

“We will be sending thousands and thousands of complaints to the International Criminal Court” if Israel and its supporters fail to take responsibility for the Nakba, Abbas warned.

It is absurd that the UN is supposed to be an international body that legislates international issues and yet somehow manages to do nothing about the Israel-Palestine conflict, which has been going on for nearly a century now.

The West made a huge blunder when it tried to turn Ukraine into an anti-Russian stronghold, leaving Moscow no other choice than to intervene, the speaker of the Hungarian parliament, Laszlo Kover, said on Tuesday.

Belarus and Russia have mostly managed to mitigate the effects of “primitive” Western sanctions, which have hurt the common people of the EU instead, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in Minsk on Monday.

“Thanks to steps we’ve taken together, we generally managed to overcome the possible negative effects of the sanctions pressure,” Lukashenko said at a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, complimenting the sanctions specialists from both countries on a job well done.

The US and its EU allies have embarked on a sweeping embargo against Russia and Belarus in February, citing the escalating conflict in Ukraine. Lukashenko described the sanctions as “primitive” and said they’ve had “a boomerang effect” instead, hitting the ordinary people and enterprises on the European continent, but not those who “started an economic war against our country” and a proxy war against Russia “to the last Ukrainian.”

They are primitive sanctions – literally designed by an Indian guy. No one even knows who he is.

Finnish prime minister Sanna Marin has called for Europe to build its own defence capabilities in the wake of the war in Ukraine, saying that without US help it is not resilient enough.

“We should make sure that we are stronger,” Marin said in Sydney on Friday. “And I’ll be brutally honest with you, Europe isn’t strong enough. We would be in trouble without the United States.”

Her remarks came in response to a question about China’s responsibility to “rein in Russia”. Marin said that while China could play a role, “We shouldn’t only rely on that.”

Marin insisted Ukraine must be given “whatever it takes” to win the war, adding that the United States had been pivotal in supplying Kyiv with the weapons, finance and humanitarian aid necessary to blunt Russia’s advance.

“We have to make sure that we are also building those capabilities when it comes to European defence, the European defence industry, and making sure that we could cope in different kinds of situations,” she said.

He demanded broader international oversight of such programs.

“The military biological activities of the Pentagon in various regions of the world” are among the sources of risk threatening the whole international community, Kirillov warned.

The US seeks to “enhance its military biological potential,” as well as “expand its global control over the biological situation in the world,” he noted, citing the US’ own strategic documents.

The US National Biodefense Strategy, adopted in October 2022, does say that the nation “recognizes the dual-use nature of the life sciences and biotechnology” while also stating that Washington “seeks to prevent the misuse of science and technology.” It adds that biological risk management “requires… taking steps to mitigate those risks, regardless of whether they originate in the United States or abroad,” pointing to the need to “evolve” the country’s “biodefense capabilities.”
