An NHS nurse has been struck off after making multiple racist comments while working as a ward manager at a women’s psychiatric unit in Chichester.

Jaden Rachel Dios Hole was banned from nursing following a series of racially aggravated incidents between 2017 and 2020.

The disciplinary panel at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) heard evidence of several offensive remarks, including the use of racial slurs towards black colleagues.

Hole, who worked at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, was suspended after colleagues reported the behaviour, leading to a referral to the NMC in May 2021.

While apparently intoxicated at a team-building event, Hole called a black colleague “my n*****” during a car journey home.

When questioned, Hole claimed the remark was a reference to a Snoop Dogg song playing on the radio at the time.

However, two staff members present in the vehicle stated they had “no recollection” of any such song being played during the journey.

He also participated in a lot of anal events supported by the NHS

The NMC panel concluded that the remark was “racially abusive”.

During a separate incident, when a black staff member was off sick, Hole allegedly remarked: “I wonder which witch doctor she was going to get that sick note from.”

The nurse also reportedly asked a colleague: “Who are you? The man from the plantation?”

Despite these incidents, Hole held a position of responsibility as co-chair of the Sussex Partnership LGBT Staff Network.

In this role, Hole helped safeguard the rights of gay and transgender staff at the trust.

The nurse had worked in psychiatric healthcare for three decades and joined Sussex Partnership Foundation in 2014, according to their LinkedIn profile.

Seven charges were either admitted by Hole or proven during the NMC hearing.

Hole’s lawyer told the panel their client had shown “great remorse” and accepted their conduct fell well below acceptable standards.

Part of the case was held in private due to defence concerns about the case being reported as “a trans-identifying man working on a psychiatric ward who is found to be impaired.”

Climate activists from Just Stop Oil painted over the grave of British naturalist Charles Darwin at London’s Westminster Abbey on Monday.

Two activists entered Westminster Abbey – Britain’s site for royal weddings, coronations, burials and a major tourist attraction – on Monday morning and used spray chalk on Darwin’s grave, the campaign group said in a statement.

The activists wrote “1.5 is dead” in orange over the surface of the white marble gravestone – a reference to recent news that global temperatures in 2024 had exceeded 1.5 Celsius above the pre-industrial era for the first time.

“We have passed the 1.5 degree threshold that was supposed to keep us safe,” one of the activists said. “Darwin would be turning in his grave to know we are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction.”

Darwin, best known for his theory of evolution by natural selection, died in 1882. He is buried in Westminster Abbey’s Scientists’ Corner, where Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking are also buried.

As the issue of the grooming gang menace in the United Kingdom (UK) is back in the headlines, British media reported early Monday (Jan 13) that almost every violent or sexual offence went unsolved in several crime hotspots in England and Wales in 2024.

Official figures stated that nearly 1.9 million violent or sexual crimes in England and Wales had been closed without a suspect being caught or charged in the year to June 2024.

According to an analysis by The Guardian, fewer than one in 10 cases were resolved in 611 neighbourhoods with the highest level of these offences.

The analysis showed that only 11 per cent of the violent and sexual offence cases in England and Wales were closed after a suspect was caught or charged in the year to June 2024.

This percentage is about half the proportion seven years earlier.

There were stark differences in the proportion of violent and sexual crimes going unsolved across the UK, with big urban forces faring far worse than those parts of England and Wales with fewer offences.

It’s interesting that white women are so supportive of immigration.

A man has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years for his role in the riots that swept England following the death of three young girls in Southport.

Andrew McIntyre, 39, has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years at Liverpool Crown Court for encouraging violent disorder and criminal damage following the knife attack at a dance class in Southport last summer.

He set up a far-right Telegram channel called “Southport Wake Up”, in the immediate aftermath of the knife attack in the Merseyside town on July 29 last year, Liverpool Crown Court was told on Monday.

The far-right taxi-driver was arrested with a copy of Mein Kampf after calling on “English lads” to “rise up.”

Arthur Gibson, prosecuting, said the case involved a “sinister aspect” of violence which took place in parts of the UK last summer.

He said: “It is the prosecution case that many of these seats of disorder were not simply spontaneous, or that persons coincidentally simply decided to turn up and take part.

“It is the Crown’s case that others, to a greater or lesser degree, participated in the organisation, encouragement and incitement of such gatherings, which resulted in the disorder.

“It is the Crown’s case that one such person is the defendant.”

The Southport Wake Up channel was identified by the group Hope Not Hate as a “catalyst for and origin of a series of posts” concerning incidents of violence, Mr Gibson said.

The court heard McIntyre, who has pleaded guilty to encouraging violent disorder and possession of a knife, shared content from a site called Tommy Robinson/ Britain First/ For Britain about a protest in Southport on July 30.

He also posted a map after adding: “Mosque at the top of Hart St.”

In a later post he wrote: “Rise Up English Lads. 8pm tomorrow St Luke’s Rd Southport.”

Hours before violence broke out in Southport on July 30, he posted a “clear threat to police”, writing: “Message to All…Stand in our way, even if you’re just doing your job…prepare to fall.”

The court was told McIntyre’s phone was in the area of St Luke’s Road in Southport at 7pm on July 30, and the car in which he was later arrested was also in the area when the disorder took place.

A knife was found hidden in the boot of his car and, when his home was searched, officers found weapons and a copy of Hitler’s Mein Kampf, the court heard.

British television viewers are fuming after the UK’s Channel Five edited crucial scenes of the classic Aussie film, Crocodile Dundee, for a Boxing Day broadcast.

The film, released in 1986, follows Paul Hogan as Northern Territory crocodile hunter Mick Dundee as he is introduced to life in New York City by journalist Sue Charlton, played by Linda Kozlowski, who would go on to marry Hogan.

The movie’s tagline at the time was “From the Outback of Australia to urban jungle of New York, there’s no wilderness he can’t tame!”

The film was aired at 5.15pm, a family friendly time, with several scenes cut from the movie, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Among those scenes are a sequence in which Mick meets transgender woman Gwendoline in a New York bar, approaches her and grabs her groin area.

Also cut from the broadcast was a scene in which Mick asks limousine driver Gus about his heritage.

However, perhaps one of the biggest disappointments was the decision to cut the iconic scene in which a man pulls a knife on Mick and Sue, to which the Aussie responds: ‘That’s not a knife, this is a knife.’

Viewers fumed on X, following the screening of the film.

“Just watching Crocodile Dundee on Channel 5. What on earth is going on at all??? Half the script has changed coz of this woke world we live in!!!” one exploded.

Church of England clergy have reportedly been told to make changes to popular Christmas carols to avoid “causing unnecessary offence”.

A whistleblowing vicar has claimed that priests throughout England have been urged to modify Advent hymns and Christmas carols, The Telegraph reports.

According to the broadsheet, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel was identified as being potentially offensive for suggesting that other religions are “outside of God’s grace”.

In an email sent out to the diocese in Birmingham, priests were reportedly told: “Try to use language that won’t add further confusion or tension or take away anything from the good news of the Nativity.”

A convicted terrorist is taking a pub to court after he claimed to be deeply offended by the sign outside the venue.

Khalid Baqa, who has previously spent four years behind bars for preparing Jihadi propaganda, wants more than £1,000 from the Saracen’s Head Inn in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.

He has criticised what he described as the racist ‘depiction of a bearded Arab/Turk’ on the pub’s sign and also insisted the depiction ‘incites violence’.

Baqa has asked for £1,850 from the landlord and has also announced plans for take on over 30 other pubs with the same name if successful.

However, the landlord of the pub is fighting back against the lawsuit which he has slammed as a ‘complete joke.’

Speaking to The Sun, Robbie Hayes said: ‘This has been called The Saracen’s Head for 500 years.

‘He’s just chancing his hand. Of course it worries me – you never know with people like this.’

The 52-year-old added that none of his pubgoers are racist and that he did not believe the sign or the name were racist but instead were ‘simply historic’.

This guy is simply a more grotesque version of the thing he says is an offensive stereotype.

It seems more reasonable that he would be proud that the British respect his people’s warrior prowess (which he personally does not appear to embody).

Baqa has filed a ‘claim of money’ form an application to county court for a sum of cash a person believes they are owed.

His application was previously referred to a small claims court.

In a submission explaining the reason behind his claim, Baqa said the sign – which depicts a brown-skinned man of Arab or Turkish descent – ‘instilled worry and fear in me since it was clearly xenophobic, racist and inciting violence to certain people.’

He goes on to claim to have contacted the pub four times and even visited the public house in person. However staff at the Saracen’s Head Inn have no record.

In 2018, Baqa was jailed for four years and eight months after admitting five counts of dissemination of Terrorist publications.

Britain’s intelligence services have been slammed for a ‘racist’ internship that doesn’t let white students apply for roles at MI5, MI6 and GCHQ.

Pupils are being offered the opportunity of a paid, 10-11 week ‘intelligence internship’ next summer, which promises the ‘first steps towards an exciting full-time career’.

But the advert explains that the application is only open to students from a ‘Black, Asian, mixed heritage or ethnic minority’, and who are from a ‘socially or economically disadvantaged’ background.

This means that any white British student from a socially deprived background would not be eligible for the internship which could lead them to a bright career as a spy.

The advert states that the services are ‘confining the applications for this internship to those within this demographic due to a current underrepresentation in our workforce’.

Shadow home secretary Chris Philp branded the internship programme ‘racist’ and urged for it to be taken down.

‘I understand the need to encourage applications from a wide range of backgrounds, including underrepresented minorities,’ he said.

‘But this is an overtly racist policy and it should be immediately discontinued.’

He added: ‘It implies it is impossible for any white person to be deprived or deserving of assistance.’

Meanwhile, a former senior Royal Air Force (RAF) told The Telegraph he thought the decision not to let poor white students apply is ‘blatant discrimination’.

Employers are allowed to take ‘positive action’ by encouraging certain groups to apply for jobs, according to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).

It adds that positive action is lawful if the action taken is ‘proportionate’ to address the issue.
