The story is that the US doesn’t want backdoors on iPhones because everyone in the government is using iPhones, and if they put backdoors in them, the Russians and the Chinese – and anyone else who wants them – will have access.

The NSA has some kind of way to hack iPhones, which they presumably get from Israeli companies that develop this software (that was in WikiLeaks), but what the UK is asking for – just an open door that will allow them to spy on all the phones at the same time – is something different and much more extreme.

The UK government has issued a “technical capability notice” to Apple, compelling the tech giant to create a backdoor to its encrypted iCloud service, the Washington Post reported on Friday. The move would enable UK law enforcement and security agencies to access encrypted data stored by Apple users worldwide, according to the newspaper.

The UK’s Investigatory Powers Act (IPA), referred to by critics as the “Snoopers’ Charter,” grants authorities the power to mandate that tech companies permit access to users’ data for investigative purposes. It also makes it a criminal offense to reveal that the government has made such a demand. The recent notice requires Apple to provide a means for decrypting user data. It is currently protected by end-to-end encryption, ensuring that only users can access their information.

Creating such backdoors could weaken overall security and set a dangerous precedent, according to Daniel Castro, vice-president of the US-based Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. In a statement on Friday, he has described the UK’s move as an “unjustified over-reach that threatens the security and privacy of individuals and businesses around the world.”

UK security officials argue that encryption can hinder efforts to combat crime and terrorism. “Maintaining proportionate, lawful access to such communications in the face of ever-more prevalent encryption is sometimes our only means of detecting and understanding these threats,” Ken McCallum, head of the UK’s domestic intelligence agency MI5, stated last October. He believes that “privacy and exceptional lawful access can coexist if absolutist positions are avoided.”

Well, if the UK hadn’t flooded their country with immigrants, they wouldn’t have a terrorism problem.

This whole “we have to take everyone’s freedom away because all these immigrants we brought in are violent criminals who want to kill us all” is something you could only argue in a modern democracy country, where the social order is controlled by the media.

In a normal country, that argument would leave people with their jaws hanging open, and then they would riot and overthrow the government.

Britain is to become the first country to introduce laws tackling the use of AI tools to produce child sexual abuse images, amid warnings from law enforcement agencies of an ­alarming proliferation in such use of the technology.

In an attempt to close a legal ­loophole that has been a major ­concern for police and online safety campaigners, it will become illegal to possess, create or distribute AI tools designed to generate child sexual abuse material.

Those found guilty will face up to five years in prison.

It will also become illegal for anyone to possess manuals that teach potential ­offenders how to use AI tools to either make abusive imagery or to help them abuse children, with a potential prison sentence of up to three years.

A stringent new law targeting those who run or moderate websites designed for the sharing of images or advice to other offenders will be put in place. Extra powers will also be handed to the Border Force, which will be able to compel anyone who it suspects of posing a sexual risk to children to unlock their digital devices for inspection.

The news follows warnings that the use of AI tools in the creation of child sexual abuse imagery has more than quadrupled in the space of a year. There were 245 confirmed reports of AI-generated child sexual abuse images last year, up from 51 in 2023, according to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).

Peter Kyle, the technology ­secretary, said that the state had “failed to keep up” with the malign applications of the AI revolution.

“A 15-year-old girl rang the NSPCC recently,” he writes. “An online ­stranger had edited photos from her social media to make fake nude images. The images showed her face and, in the background, you could see her bedroom. The girl was terrified that someone would send them to her parents and, worse still, the ­pictures were so convincing that she was scared her parents wouldn’t believe that they were fake.

“There are thousands of stories like this happening behind bedroom doors across Britain. Children being exploited. Parents who lack the knowledge or the power to stop it. Every one of them is evidence of the ­catastrophic social and legal failures of the past decade.”

A third of young adults in the UK are unable to name Auschwitz or any of the other concentration camps and ghettoes where the crimes of the Holocaust were committed, according to a study.

Other growing gaps in knowledge – especially among those aged 18-29 – were also identified, as part of a major international survey in countries including the US and UK.

The findings have been released before the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust and the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation on Monday. It comes amid fears of a resurgent far right and alarm over rising antisemitism.

More than a quarter of people surveyed in the UK were unable to name a single camp or ghetto established by the Nazis during the second world war.

King Charles will travel to Auschwitz on Monday to mark the liberation, joining survivors and other dignitaries as well as meeting Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda.

It comes as the prime minister pledged to make Holocaust education in the UK “a truly national endeavour”, saying his government would “ensure all schools teach it”.

The proportion was 33% among those aged 18-29 in the UK, although the figure was as high as 48% among those surveyed in the US.

The number of children and young people in England with a diagnosis of gender dysphoria recorded by a GP has risen fiftyfold over 10 years, researchers have found, though numbers are still relatively small.

The growing number of birth-registered females seeking referrals to gender clinics has raised concerns in recent years, with tensions over how best to tackle gender dysphoria in children resulting in the Cass review last year.

However, much of the previous work was based on referrals to specialist services rather than capturing the situation in primary care – the first port of call for many seeking help.

Now a study by a team that carried out research informing the Cass review has looked at GP records to shed light on trends in the community.

“What we have is the number of children who’ve ever had a diagnosis of something related to gender dysphoria,” said Prof Tim Doran, co-author of the work from the University of York.

Writing in the journal Archives of Disease in Childhood, Doran and colleagues describe how they examined data relating to children and young people aged 18 and under attending GP practices in England between 2011 and 2021, encompassing 3,782 individuals with gender dysphoria or similar diagnoses.

The results, based on data from about 20% of GP practices, show both the rates of incidence – the number of new cases each year – and the prevalence of such diagnoses rose over the decade.

Let’s just hope the doctors kept all the titties they cut off of these teenage girls and can sew them back on now that Donald Trump cured the woke mind virus.

The prevalence increased from about one in 60,000 in 2011 (equating to 192 children and young people nationally) to about one in 1,200 in 2021 (equating to 10,291 nationally) – more than a fiftyfold increase.

The team said that from 2015, prevalence rose more quickly among children recorded as female on their health records, ending up about twice as high as for recorded males by 2021.

Doran said among 17- and 18-year-olds, the prevalence of gender dysphoria was about one in 238 in 2021.

The study showed that over the entire 10-year period, under 5% of children and young people with gender dysphoria also had a record of a prescription for puberty suppressing hormones while 8% had a record of a prescription for masculinising or feminising hormones.

Women in Britain are paying up to £11,154 for a hysterectomy in a private hospital, amid huge delays for NHS gynaecological care, research reveals.

The cost of undergoing the procedure privately has soared by 19% from £7,385 in 2021 to £8,795 last year, at a time when NHS waiting lists have risen sharply.

The disclosure has prompted claims independent sector healthcare providers are taking advantage of long waits for health service treatment by increasing their prices.

The number of women waiting for care in an NHS hospital for conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis more than doubled from 360,400 when Covid struck in 2020 to 749,329, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has shown.

In November 584,607 women in England were on an NHS gynaecological waiting list, with 20,809 of them being on the list for more than a year, which led to a growing number of women going private to beat delays.

Women undergo a hysterectomy to treat problems linked to their reproductive system, such as heavy periods, fibroids or chronic period pains. More than 40,000 women a year in England undergo a procedure on the NHS, mainly those in their 40s and 50s, though numbers are falling.

The cost of the operation in a private hospital rose across England, Scotland and Wales between 2021 and 2024, an analysis found. Prices rose by 22% in the south-west of England in that time and by 18% in the West Midlands, according to the research by MyTribe Insurance Experts, who track the cost of private healthcare.

The highest price for the procedure being charged last year by a private hospital was £11,154 in Yorkshire and the Humber and lowest was £6,420 in the south-west, the firm said. In Yorkshire and the Humber– the most expensive region – a hysterectomy cost an average £9,765, followed by the east of England (£9,709) and Scotland (£9,355).

Axel Rudakubana

This guy killed a bunch of little kids.

Shouldn’t he be executed?

The Southport killer Axel Rudakubana has been jailed for a minimum of 52 years for the “ferocious” and “sadistic” knife rampage at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.

The 18-year-old refused to appear in the dock as the judge said he would probably “never be released and he will be in custody for all his life” for the “savage” murder of three young girls and attempted murder of eight others, as well as two adults who tried to save them.

It can now be revealed that two years before the Southport attack, Rudakubana’s parents had called police four times in six months asking for help.

On one of those occasions, he was caught carrying a blade on a bus, but officers did not detain him and instead took him home and told his mother to keep knives out of his reach.

The full horror of his 12-minute attack was laid bare at Liverpool crown court on Thursday when it emerged that some of Rudakubana’s victims had been stabbed dozens of times, many with such force it broke their bones.

He chased some of the young girls as they fled in terror. Three girls – Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine – suffered unsurvivable injuries. The attack on two of them could only be described as “sadistic”, the prosecutor, Deanna Heer KC, told a packed courtroom.

Sentencing Rudakubana to life with a minimum term of 52 years in prison – the longest jail term ever given to someone his age – the judge, Mr Justice Julian Goose, said the triple killer would only be released if a Parole Board believes he is no longer a threat to the public, but he added: “It is likely he will never be released and he will be in custody for all of his life”.

Rudakubana could not be sentenced to a whole-life order – meaning he would never be released from prison – because he was nine days short of his 18th birthday when he carried out the attack at the Hart Space in Southport on 29 July last year.

The teenager, who was 17 when he carried out the attack, will be almost 70 before he is considered for release.

The sentencing, where about 40 relatives of the victims had gathered, was twice loudly interrupted by the defendant pleading for medical assistance. “My chest is hurting … I need to speak to a paramedic,” he shouted, before interrupting the judge as he tried to proceed: “Don’t continue! Don’t continue! Don’t continue!”

In court, family members of the victims were in tears as the shocking attack was relayed in full. CCTV footage played in court showed young girls screaming and running from the dance studio, seconds after Rudakubana entered at 11.45am – just 15 minutes before the girls were due to be collected by their parents.

The 26 girls were gathered around a table making bracelets when he appeared in the doorway, hooded and holding a 20cm knife.

Body-worn footage recorded by police showed the chaotic scenes as officers rushed into the bloodstained building, where Rudakubana was seen “crouching” over the body of one little girl.

One officer is heard to say: “She’s dead” and another yelled “Jesus” as others screamed around them. Moments later, officers found one of the dance teachers, Heidi Liddle, who had locked herself in a toilet with one of the girls. They were escorted from the building, crying with fear and relief.

Frankly, it’s surprising that the British sentenced him at all.

These people are such rats, you’d half expect them to just give him psychiatric treatment claiming he is a victim of racism.

What is going on in the UK?

The document suggests the potential establishment of military bases in Ukraine, with an emphasis on aligning these initiatives with NATO standards for maximum effectiveness.

The 15-page declaration, signed on January 16, 2025, lays out a framework for cooperation between the United Kingdom and Ukraine across various sectors, with a primary focus on military collaboration. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky formalized the deal during a ceremony in Kiev on Thursday.

“The Participants will explore options for deploying and maintaining defence infrastructure in Ukraine, including military bases, logistics depots, reserve military equipment storage facilities and war reserve stockpiles,” the document states.

The agreement also emphasizes maritime cooperation, particularly in the Black Sea region. The UK has pledged to enhance Ukraine’s interoperability with NATO in the maritime sphere through joint naval operations, port visits, and the development of Ukrainian naval bases.

“We will work together to ensure NATO learns the lessons from Ukraine’s experience in the Black Sea to inform its development of future maritime capabilities. We will promote the development of naval bases on the territory of Ukraine,” the document reads.

Another section highlights plans to “deepen cooperation on long-range strike capabilities,” integrated air and missile defense, and the stockpiling of complex weapons to bolster “deterrence.”

Additionally, London has committed to providing Ukraine with annual military assistance of no less than £3 billion until at least 2031, and “for as long as needed to support Ukraine.”

This is not serious behavior by a serious country, and the UK is not a serious country, and would have been conquered and liberated by the Germans in the 1940s if it were not for the might of the Russian military coming down on Germany.

The country now operates purely as a subsidiary of the United States.

If Donald Trump actually wants peace in the world like he claims, the first thing he needs to do is cut off and sanction the UK, as they are the top troublemaking country that is not the US itself.

There could only be a showdown with Facebook if the US government allowed Europe to have such a showdown. Europe does not have independent policies, all of them are dictated to them by the United States. Obviously, they have stricter speech rules than the US (at least technically), but those rules are all driven by the US desire to shut down speech globally.

Just look at the way the Germans have gone along with supporting Ukraine terrorism against their country, gone along with collapsing their own industrial sector, because the US tells them to do that. It’s ridiculous and humiliating.

However, US organs at the State Department probably do not agree with Donald Trump easing the restrictions on speech rules in America, and they will likely use European bodies to attack those changes.

Sweeping changes to the policing of Meta’s social media platforms have set the tech company on a collision course with legislators in the UK and the European Union, experts and political figures have said.

Lawmakers in Brussels and London criticised Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to scrap factcheckers in the US for Facebook, Instagram and Threads, with one labelling it “quite frightening”.

The changes to Meta’s global policies on hateful content now include allowing users to call transgender people “it”, with the guidelines stating: “We do allow allegations of mental illness or abnormality when based on gender or sexual orientation.”

Chi Onwurah, the Labour MP and chair of the science and technology committee for the House of Commons, which is investigating how online disinformation fuelled last summer’s riots, said Zuckerberg’s decision to replace professional factcheckers with users policing the accuracy of posts was “concerning” and “quite frightening”.

“To hear that Meta is removing all its factcheckers [in the US] is concerning … people have a right to be protected from the harmful effects of misinformation,” she said. “The fact that Zuckerberg said he’s following the example of X must raise concerns when we compare how X is a platform for misinformation to a greater extent than Facebook has been.”

Meta’s move, which Zuckerberg made clear was a response to the incoming Donald Trump presidency, also prompted predictions that a major challenge is coming from the Trump administration against laws such as the Online Safety Act.

The former UK technology minister, Damian Collins, said such a challenge will “most likely be made through trade negotiations where pressure will be brought against the UK to accept American standards for digital regulation”.

Zuckerberg has said his policy of ditching factcheckers applies only in the US for now, but his broadside against Europe has raised concerns that he is planning to roll out the approach in Europe.

It’s very expensive for these companies to do all of this censorship, which I think is why they’re all excited to stop doing it. With Twitter, it was something like 75% of employees at the company were working in the censorship department.

It’s all ridiculous, and hopefully we’re getting to the point where we can ask about personal responsibility, and start asking if it is possible for the government to view people as adults who are capable of making their own decisions.

Obviously, the idea that the government would view its citizens as adults capable of making decisions is far outside of established norms in the current year, with the government having moved to treat everyone like a little baby. Clearly, everyone in the government prefers to have strict policies that allow them to control what people think and do.

Foreigners are more than three times as likely to be arrested for sex crimes in the UK as British citizens, according to a first-of-its-kind analysis by the Centre for Migration Control using data from the Home Office and the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The report comes amid claims that the government has purposefully suppressed information on migrant crime stats, as well as a renewed uproar over institutional cover-ups in the ‘grooming gangs’ scandal.

Groups of men across the UK, predominantly of Pakistani origin, have reportedly raped and tortured thousands of underage girls in towns across northern England over the last two decades.

Police in England and Wales arrested more than 9,000 foreign nationals for sexual offenses between January and October last year, according to the data, which was released through Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. That figure represented 26.1% of the total estimated 35,000 arrests for sexual offenses.

The data show almost 165 arrests per 100,000 of the migrant population, in comparison to 48 arrests per 100,000 British citizens.

In the City of London, foreign nationals accounted for almost 67% of arrests for sexual offenses.

Looking at all crimes, the report showed that foreign nationals were arrested at twice the rate of Britons, with 131,000 arrests over the same period last year. While foreigners make up nine percent of the population, they accounted for more than 16% of arrests.

So they’re comparing “non-citizens” with “British citizens.” I don’t think that is a meaningful distinction. A lot of the “non-citizens” would be Poles and hohols, who probably commit more crimes generally, but wouldn’t be likely to commit sexual crimes. Meanwhile, there are apparently many negroes with “British citizenship.”

Basically, when it comes to actual rape (as opposed to Brock Turner type nonsense), you’re going to find that 100% of these crimes are committed by nonwhites.

That would also go for virtually all violent crime in the UK, with the exception of Brits rioting against violent crime committed by nonwhites.
