Relative to its population, the Canary Islands got around as many illegals last year as the US did during the entire Biden administration

It seems like the whole “if you’re against open borders you’re an evil racist who hates people because of the color of their skin” thing is over. That’s cool that’s over. That was really exhausting.

Bad news is, there are already so many immigrants, it doesn’t matter anymore. You can complain, and people probably won’t call you a “skin-color-hater” anymore, but no one can do anything to stop it.

The Guardian:

Hundreds protested on Saturday in the Canary Islands against an influx of migrants to the Spanish archipelago, which has welcomed more than 19,000 migrants since the beginning of 2024.

Located off the coast of north-west Africa, the Canary Islands have become an increasingly popular destination for people braving the perilous Atlantic crossing in the hope of finding a better life in Europe.

Carrying “Defend our neighbourhoods” and “Stop illegal immigration” placards, the demonstrators took to the streets of towns including Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with local media putting their numbers at several hundreds.

“This situation in the Canaries is unbearable,” Juan Manuel Garcia, who took part in the demonstration in Tenerife, told AFPTV. “The Canaries don’t have the means to support those who arrive,” the 70-year-old added.

Rudy Ruyman, who helped organise the demonstration, said the situation had become “a traffic in human lives”, warning that “the mafia is profiting from all the deaths at sea”.

Several lawyers had asked the public prosecutor’s office to ban the demonstrations on the grounds they could constitute a hate crime. But the authorities did not act on that request, according to local media.

Spain is one of the three main entry points for migrants coming to Europe, along with Italy and Greece.

Until 30 June, 19,257 migrants arrived by sea in the Canary Islands aboard 297 boats, according to figures from the Ministry of the Interior – up from 7,213 aboard 150 boats in the same period last year.

In 2023, nearly 40,000 migrants arrived in the archipelago, compared with 15,600 in 2022, surpassing the record set in 2006.

Although the Atlantic route is especially dangerous, it is becoming increasingly popular because it is less closely monitored than the Mediterranean.

On Saturday, a new vessel with 56 people on board arrived on the small island of El Hierro, in the south-west of the Canaries. One of the 56 was found dead, the emergency services said.

More than 5,000 people died trying to reach Spain by sea in the first five months of the year, equivalent to 33 deaths a day, Spanish NGO Caminando Fronteras reported in June. The vast majority of those deaths happened en route to the Canary Islands.

Shockingly, the founder of this NGO is a woman

Also on Saturday, thousands of protesters marched in Barcelona to denounce mass tourism and its effect on Spain’s most visited city, the latest in a series of similar marches in the country.

Under the slogan “Enough! Let’s put limits on tourism”, 2,800 people, according to police, marched along a waterfront district in Barcelona to demand a new economic model that would reduce the millions of tourists that visit every year.

“I have nothing against tourism, but here in Barcelona we are suffering from an excess of tourism that has made our city unliveable,” said Jordi Guiu, a 70-year-old sociologist.

With banners saying “Reduce tourism now!”, the protesters chanted slogans such as “Tourists out of our neighbourhood”, stopping in front of hotels to the surprise of visitors.

Thi is just the microcosm.

The macrocosm is the entire white world.

There are just too many of these people.

You could move them. You could. But it would be soldiers, vans, trains, concentration camps, the whole deal.

White people on the whole aren’t ready for that.

So we have to wonder: why even bother talking about it at this point?

More people in Spain are protesting tourists than migrants, despite the latter affecting them significantly more

Spain: 8,500 Invaders Arrive on Canary Islands in Just 2 Weeks https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/10/18/spain-8500-invaders-arrive-on-canary-islands-in-just-2-weeks/ Wed, 18 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Daily reminder: the invasion is ongoing.

We’re thinking about war and ultimate doom, but the borders are still open in America and Western Europe, and tens of thousands of these people are pouring across every week.

Remix:

At least 8,561 illegal migrants have landed on the Canary Islands in the past two weeks as the Spanish archipelago’s own migration crisis spirals out of control.

The figures, published by the Spanish Interior Ministry on Monday, represent more than a third of all arrivals recorded so far this year.

A total of 23,537 illegal migrants have reached the Spanish territories in 2023, up 80 percent from the figures recorded for the same period last year, and local officials are sounding the alarm as public services become saturated and the islands’ security comes under threat.

President of the Canary Islands Fernando Clavijo said he was “amazed” and “perplexed” by the left-wing Spanish government’s “total silence” over the escalation of the migrant crisis on the islands, and police officials warned that resources are overstretched.

“It is true that by diverting staff to assist these people, we once again find ourselves with an insufficient number of patrol cars in such essential services as public safety,” said José Luis Gallardo, the spokesperson for the Spanish Police Confederation (CEP).

With the daily number of new arrivals this month averaging above 500, the main asylum center in Arrecife on the island of Lanzarote is above capacity and immigrants are being temporarily housed in tents in the port of Naos.

While in Tenerife, police officers were forced to move their cars from a secure police station garage in Las Americas in order to enable groups of illegal migrants to sleep on the garage floor.

Clavijo warned recently that the situation is expected to deteriorate further. He cited the political instability in Senegal, the decrease in Ukrainian grain reaching Africa resulting in increased famine, and the EU’s focus on the Eastern Mediterranean around the Italian island of Lampedusa as aggravating factors for the influx.

“All these indicators, together with the fact that at this time of year, the sea is very calm, have caused what we knew was going to happen, especially when the European Union’s controls are being reinforced in the upper part of the Mediterranean,” Clavijo told Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

…

The Spanish islands are currently on course to receive a record number of illegal migrants in a single year, surpassing 2006 when almost 32,000 new arrivals were recorded.

It’s a lot of people.

According to authorities, none of them are ever going back.

They’re breaking new records all the time

Spain: Judge Rules in Favor of Woman Who Wants to Stop Son from Getting Vaxed https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/01/19/spain-judge-rules-in-favour-of-woman-who-wants-to-stop-son-from-getting-vaxed/ Wed, 19 Jan 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Don’t have hope.

The EU will overrule this.

Breitbart:

A Spanish judge has ruled in favour of a mother who refused to get her child vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus, agreeing that the risks to the child from the vaccine are higher than the potential benefits.

The case saw the father of the child, a 15-year-old boy, call for the Tenerife court to judicially authorise the vaccination of the boy, while the mother, who is divorced from the father, had argued that the vaccine posed more risks than benefits to her son.

The judge agreed with the mother, stating that the benefits from the vaccine to the boy were “very scarce” and said that the possibility of adverse reactions to the jab was “much higher,” Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports.

The judge listened to testimony from the father, the mother, and the boy who stated that he wanted to take the vaccine, saying that he was concerned unvaccinated people “have a worse time” when contracting the coronavirus. The father in the case argued that his son should be vaccinated, stating that he believed “it is best” for the child to take the vaccine because it “is good and will protect him”.

The judge, however, stated, “the effects of the vaccine in the medium and long term are unknown, since the clinical trials have not ended,” and added that while public authorities recommend the vaccine to children, they have often given out advice, only to contradict themselves later.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, the health authorities discouraged the use of a mask, which is now mandatory in closed spaces,” the judge stated as an example.

“It is difficult, if not impossible, to balance the adverse effects in the medium or long term of the COVID vaccine when they are unknown at the present time,” the judge said and added, “what is being put on one side of the scale is a question, an unknown, for which to date no one can offer an accurate answer, because no one has been vaccinated against COVID for several years.”

He went on to note that pharmaceutical companies have been convicted for adverse effects from medications years after their release, giving the drug thalidomide as an example as well as a Spanish case involving the smallpox vaccine in the 1970s.

The mother in the case was granted a period of two years to decide whether or not her son should take the vaccine or not.

Probably, he’ll be banned from school. And if he doesn’t have the vax pass, he’ll be banned from everything else.

This is the new reality.

You have to go live in the woods or some small village.

Spain’s high vax rate doesn’t help at all
