The game is still available outside of the UK.

Steam doesn’t do censorship unless someone forces them through legal threats.

Eurogamer:

Valve has removed a game from its British Steam storefront following a request from the UK’s counter-terrorism unit.

The FPS/TPS Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque – which describes itself as “address[ing] the Israel x Palestine conflict from a Palestinian perspective” – was removed when Steam contacted developer Nidal Nijm to inform him it had “received a request from authorities in the UK to block the game and have applied such country restrictions”.

Originally released in 2022, the game was updated this month to include content reflecting aspects of Hamas’ 7th October terrorist attack. A trailer for the update shows fighters that appear to be from Hamas landing in an Israeli base and graphically executing Israeli soldiers.

In an email to the Brazilian developer, Steam allegedly said: “We’ve received a request from authorities in the UK to block the game and have applied such country restrictions”. When the developer reportedly asked if there was “a specific reason” for the UK ban and said “my game is not too much different than any other shooter game on Steam, like Call of Duty”, he was told:

“We were contacted by the Counter Terrorism Command of the United Kingdom, specifically the Counter Terrorism Internet Referral Unit (CTIRU). As with any authority for a region the [sic] oversees and governs what content can be made available, we have to comply with their requests.”

In an email to 404, a counter-terrorism spokesperson said: “The CTIRU works closely with a range of technology, social media and online service providers, but we do not comment on specific content or any communication we may have with specific platforms or providers.”

“The region lock of my game in the UK was clearly due to political reasons,” Nijm wrote in a statement to the same publication.

“I do not blame Valve nor Steam, the blame is on the UK government and authorities that are pissed off by a video game,” Nijm said. “On their flawed logic, the most recent Call of Duty Black Ops 6 should be banned as well. As you play as an American soldier and go to Iraq to kill Iraqi people. What I can say is that we see clearly the double standards.”

The game describes itself “the Palestinian Max Payne on steroids” and the “most BASED game of all times”. It has already been banned in Germany and Australia for not going through the countries’ respective classification boards.

The Jews are Finally Coming for Steam! https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/11/18/the-jews-are-finally-coming-for-steam/ Mon, 18 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Jews whine endlessly about antisemitism, but they always come at you.

Constantly, these Jews are coming at you with their endless demands. That’s all they ever do, and they do it in every single possible area.

Jews demand:

  • Endless wars for Israel
  • Loyalty to Israel before America
  • Various other wars all over the world
  • Endless flows of destructive and worthless brown people into white countries
  • The end of Christianity
  • The end of the white race
  • Homosexuality everywhere, in everything, and marketed to children
  • Child tranny surgeries
  • Endless streams of questionable vaccines
  • Pornography normalization
  • Drug normalization
  • Psychiatry
  • Total woman domination of men
  • Abortion
  • Obesity be promoted as healthy
  • Everyone be spied on and the information sent to Israel
  • Russian hoaxes
  • No prayer in schools

None of those things would be happening if it were not for the Jews. Period. If you don’t know that, it’s because the other key agendas of the Jews:

  • Pass laws banning criticism of Jews and Jew behavior
  • If you can’t pass laws, bully and manipulate companies into banning criticism of Jews
  • Sue people who criticize Jews in civil court

If it wasn’t for the silencing of criticism, no one would claim things like “oh that’s just leftist Jews” or “some of the people pushing that are not Jews.”

Whether it’s leftist Jews or some of the people pushing it are not Jews, the fact remains: these things are only relevant in society because of the Jews.

Normal people are sometimes corrupt or perverse or whatever, but they do not do this organized psycho-mania that the Jews do. Look at any country with no Jews: Asia, Africa, some of Latin America. They have problems but they do not have this set of problems that the West has, and to the extent that they have some of these problems (for example, feminism in South Korea), it’s a result of American (i.e. Jew) interference with their internal politics.

Meanwhile, America, the most Jewish country ever, has the most of these problems.

It’s no surprise they’re finally coming for Steam.

Of course, Steam doesn’t make money off of advertisement, but the Jews will no doubt try to shut down their payment systems or attack any other possible vector in order to increase censorship and other abuse on the platform.

PC Gamer:

The Anti-Defamation League, a US organization that aims to combat antisemitism and support Israel, has published a report alleging that Steam is “rife with extremism and antisemitism,” and accusing Valve of allowing the spread of hateful and extremist material through a “highly permissive approach to content policy.”

It’s called the “First Amendment,” you filthy rat kikes.

Gamers respect it.

The ADL said its report is based on what it described as an “unprecedented, platform-wide” analysis of public data on Steam, including more than 458 million user profiles, 152 million profile and user group avatar images, and 610 million user comments. The ADL’s Center on Extremism found “found millions of examples of extremist and hateful content, including explicit hate symbols like sonnenrads and ‘happy merchants,’ as well as copypastas (blocks of text that are copied and pasted to form images or long-form writing) shaped into swastikas” being shared on the platform.

“The clear gaps in Steam’s moderation of this content inflict harm by exposing untold users to hate and harassment, enabling potential radicalization and normalizing hate and extremism in the gaming community,” the ADL wrote. “Understanding the extent of extremist and hateful content on the platform is key to fighting the proliferation of hate online.”

Pepe the Frog and swastikas are the most common extremist symbols found on Steam, according to the report, respectively representing 54.6% and 9.1% of detected symbols. The ADL also found “tens of thousands of pieces of terrorism-related content on Steam Community,” including more than 15,000 public accounts with profile pictures featuring the flags or logos of ISIS, Hezbollah, Hamas, and others. Hundreds of accounts were found using photos of white supremacist mass murderers Brenton Tarrant and Anders Breivik as their avatar images.

Game mods are also touched on in the report, which claims to have found hundreds of mods for games, most notably Garry’s Mod, “that specifically reference mass shootings.”

…

The report says Steam appears to be “technically capable” of moderating content, and has done so “selectively” in the past in response to external pressure: One example of that would be the removal of Pepe the Frog emoticons from the Steam Marketplace following a DMCA takedown noticed filed by Pepe creator Matt Furie. But its overall approach has been “largely ad hoc, with Valve failing to systematically address the issue of extremism and hate on the platform.”

Matt Furie was working with the ADL to shut down Pepe the Frog based on copyright claims. He never cared about copyright before and thought it was funny, then the ADL came to him and offered to get him a lot of money. They may have also threatened or blackmailed him somehow, that’s not clear. It was a whole saga.

But comparing DMCA to freedom of speech is deranged. This is like when they say “hate speech and child pornography,” as if the two are the same thing.

“Valve needs to make significant changes to their approach to platform governance both in terms of policy and practice to address the ways in which hate and extremism have proliferated on the Steam platform,” the report states.

“As ADL has stated previously, policymakers must demonstrate their commitment to disrupting hate and harassment in online multiplayer games. While government is necessarily focused on the dangers posed by social media and AI, policymakers must also pay attention to the immediate threats pervasive in online gaming environments.”

Do you see how they phrase it?

“Valve needs to make changes.” This is like your mother talking about your alcoholism. It’s incredible, the nerve of these Jews, that they think they can just go around telling people what to do.

But they don’t just think it: they can tell people what to do. They tell people what to do all the time and they do it.

Elon talked a big game.

But I’m still banned.

You cannot have freedom and Jews. You have to pick one or the other. America has picked the Jews.

Hopefully, Gabin will not bow to these sickening filthy “people,” because Steam is truly the last free major platform on the internet.

Yids Flip Lips Over Steam Game Where Players Fight the IDF https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/24/yids-flip-lips-over-steam-game-where-players-fight-the-idf/ Wed, 24 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Because there’s not enough violence propagated against Jews worldwide, @Steam thought it would be a great idea to platform a game aimed at shooting Jews. pic.twitter.com/7QBj3FmRH0

— StopAntisemitism (@StopAntisemites) April 23, 2024

So, now defending yourself from the IDF is “shooting Jews.”

When the IDF invades your country and starts slaughtering people, it is antisemitic to defend yourself.

You’re not even allowed to pretend you’re defending yourself from the IDF by playing a video game. Even thoughts of defending against a Jewish slaughter are against the rules.

New York Post:

The video game distribution service Steam has come under fire for platforming a controversial game that lets people play as Palestinian gunmen who are shooting up invading Israeli soldiers.

The first-person shooter, released March 31 and dubbed Toofan AlAqsa, is described on Steam’s website as a game about “protecting AlAqsa and Palestine” — ostensibly from the Israel Defense Forces.

“You can upgrade your abilities and kill the enemies faster,” the free game’s description reads.

“Finish all levels and free Palestine. This is for the support of Palestine #FreePalestine.”

On Tuesday, an account on X named “StopAntisemitism” put social media’s spotlight on the game and its violent message.

“Because there’s not enough violence propagated against Jews worldwide, @Steam thought it would be a great idea to platform a game aimed at shooting Jews,” the account said.

Oh no, a video game with violence.

Watch the same conservatives who talked endlessly about “wokeness” in video games come out and demand Steam remove this game.

Hogwart’s Legacy Breaks Records on Steam – Apparently, Everyone Despises Trannies as Much as They Should https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/02/12/hogwarts-legacy-breaks-records-on-steam-apparently-everyone-despises-trannies-as-much-as-they-should/ Sun, 12 Feb 2023 00:00:00 +0000

It seems like Hogwarts Legacy has capped off at 807,112 concurrent views on Steam. This makes it the 8th most-played game of all time and the 3rd most-played single-player game on the platform. pic.twitter.com/bEZq8twGSv

— Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) February 11, 2023

The Harry Potter game is doing very well, despite calls from trannies to boycott it.

Forbes:

SteamDB, which tracks concurrent players on the PC platform Steam, recorded 783,277 players on Hogwarts legacy as of 1 p.m. Saturday, marking the second-largest player count ever recorded in a 24-hour span.

The game trails only PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, which ranks first all-time with a 24-hour peak of 1,320,219.

Hogwarts Legacy’s total marks the eighth-largest peak on Steam of all-time and is the third-ranked single-player game, trailing Elden Ring (953,426) and Cyberpunk 2077 (1,295,114)

It’s great to see.

We can’t really know how many people love trannies because everyone is supposed to lie about it. This is a good indicator that people will not sacrifice their own entertainment because trannies demand it of them.

Hopefully, we end up seeing something similar with Atomic Heart, which trannies are also saying should be boycotted because it is Russian.

Personally, I am not a Harry Potter fan. I also don’t really have time to spend playing these open world games. (Typically, I only play games that I can play while listening to podcasts or university lectures in the background.) I thought about buying this to show support for JK Rowling’s brutal war against the tranny scum, but decided I don’t really have $60 to spend. Or rather, I only have $60 to spend, and I’d rather get Atomic Heart.

In fact, I might stream it.

I have to check on Paul Town’s monero-based superchat system. It seems like I have some options for a streaming platform now, especially if I don’t get political.

Atomic Heart comes out in a week. If I’m going to stream it, I will announce it here. It won’t appeal to all readers, of course. It would just be a standard gaming stream. But it could be fun. I should at least see if there is a market for it.

Steam Summer Sale Game Recommends of Andrew Anglin https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/07/03/steam-summer-sale-game-recommends-of-andrew-anglin/ Sat, 03 Jul 2021 00:00:00 +0000

It’s summer, and most of the lockdown stuff is ending (for now), so hopefully people have things to do outside in the real world instead of playing video games all day.

However, we all know we’re going back into Virus World in a few months, and the Steam Summer Sale is on, so I figured I’d give some comments on some vidya I like. I recommend you play these games – but only when you don’t have the option to be outside playing sports or doing nature stuff (which should always come before video games).

I primarily play CRPGs and tactical combat games. My favorite games combine the two. I’m also a big fan of city builders and colony sims, particularly if they have some kind of combat element, or other features beyond economy.

I don’t generally like real time games, and definitely do not like FPS. I do not take that position to be edgy or whatever, it’s just a preference. I enjoy watching streams of CSGO and PUBG, but I don’t play them (partially because I’m not good at them, and also partially because ever since Goldeneye, FPS has given me varying degrees of motion sickness).

Also, I have generally been on the “boycott all big Jew gaming companies” train for years and years now. I bought Cyberpunk 2077, and that was such complete garbage, it will probably be the last big studio game I ever buy. (The last one I actually enjoyed from a big studio was Red Dead Redemption 2.)

All of these games are from small, independent studios (save for Wasteland 3, technically, as the studio was bought by M$ at the very end of development, as I will mention below).

My Recent Rougelite Fixation

Since coronavirus, I’ve gotten into rougelites.

The first rougelite I really enjoyed was called Undermine. It is similar to the Binding of Isaac, however, I’d never played it because it has satanic themes.

Undermine is super-fun at first, but gets repetitive pretty quick. The pixel fantasy aesthetic is fun and nostalgic, and it feels like an old Zelda dungeon. You can customize builds through choices, but it pretty much comes down to either melee or ranged, and there’s not a huge amount of options.

I give Undermine a 7/10.

Undermine is 30% off – $13.99.

The next one that I got obsessed with what Spelunkey 2. I was a 2D platformer as opposed to the overhead view. However, this game has human sacrifices to the Indian demon goddess Kali. It does it in a really jokey way, which I didn’t think much of – and then while playing this game, I got sick for the first time in more than ten years. I stopped playing the game, and do not recommend you play this game or any other game featuring human sacrifice (no matter how jokey).

I then got into Hades, which is similar to Undermine in terms of the overhead view, but has many more customizations in terms of the builds you can make with weapons and powerups. It also has a very fun progression system, so even though it’s a rougelite, where you are just doing short runs, you feel as though you’re progressing, giving it a bit of action RPG flavor.

It’s basically the perfect form of the overhead version of the rougelite genre. I also personally enjoy the Greek mythology mixed with comic book aesthetics over the vague SNES Zelda vibes of Undermine.

I give Hades a 9/10.

Hades is 30% off – $17.49.

Presently, I’ve been playing Neon Abyss. I’d been looking for a game similar to Spelunkey that didn’t have human sacrifice, and this is one that seemed to fit the bill, and had good reviews. The game is good but not great. It’s fast paced and intense, and really does strain your field of vision as you try to monitor all of the moving parts. The aesthetics are a lot of fun. It goes with the pixilated style we all associate with SNES (which is kind of wrong, because SNES games never looked this good), and has a backdrop of a cyberpunk style version of the underworld.

There are heavy vibes of the old NES Contra games (and similar), which I like a lot.

The game has no story really, which is preferable to Hades having way too much story. I guess I’m ambivalent about how much story a game like this should have, but it feels like Hades had too much and Neon Abyss has too little. One of the more frustrating things about the game is that you get very few choices as to how you build your character. You find items randomly, and just get whatever they give you. So you can end up with upgrades that incentivize spending coins alongside upgrades that incentivize holding coins. The only thing you can choose is your gun. But there are so many different guns that function in so many different ways (which itself is a plus), and they don’t have descriptions until you buy them. You can also buy items (as opposed to finding them, which is the normal way). There are too many to remember which is which without playing tens of hours of the game. So you’re basically guessing on buying any gun or item.

Another thing I am against is that the game has difficulty settings. I do not believe that games like this should have difficulty settings, and most do not. Instead, the difficulty should scale as you progress. When there are multiple difficulties, I personally feel like I’m cheating if I put it on anything other than “hard,” as I believe that is what the game designers generally design the game to be played at. I’ve been playing the game on hard mode, but this game be pretty frustrating sometimes, as you can end up dying and losing a run you’ve been on for 35 minutes in really stupid ways that leave you feeling cheated.

But, there’s a feature of eggs that turn into “pets” that follow you, and it’s unique and funny. And one of them is Donald Trump (who grabs your money).

This pissed off some people on reddit.

The bosses are all internet meme related. There is a shitcoin boss, who shoots deadly cryptocurrency that sometimes turns into real gold.

I imagine there are some other funny things as you get deeper into the game.

I think people who enjoy rougelites built to mimic the old sidescroller games of the 1990s will have fun with this game.

All things considered, I give Neon Abyss a 6/10 (but it’s hard to deny at the price).

Neon Abyss is 33% off at $13.39.

My Games I Actually Play Mostly and Always Recommend

I wanted to comment on the rougelites, because it’s an interesting genre that is easy to pick up for a break here and there when you’re working from home and quickly put down. They’re not really “immersive.”

However, the main thing I wanted to point out is that my two favorite recent RPGs are on sale right now, along with a great tactics game.

Wasteland 3 is, I believe, the best CRPG ever made. The spiritual successor to Fallout 1 & 2, it contains all the fun of those games with all the benefits of modern UI.

The story is as good as you will ever find in a video game (with a lot of right-wing in-jokes). The core gameplay is the tactical combat, which is quite simply just as good, if not better, than XCom’s tactical combat. This is a game you’ll be glad has difficulty settings.

Despite the isometric simplicity, it feels totally cinematic. The music is fantastic, and includes many original covers of old gospel songs and other things you will like.

The company that made it, inXile (which has many of the people who worked on the original Fallout games and other classic CRPGs), was bought by Microsoft when the game was almost finished. I thought they would add some gay and black stuff, but they didn’t – other than tacking on the option to choose a gay or WFBM couple at the beginning of the game as premade characters. But of course, no one who plays CRPGs chooses premade characters (except maybe in Divinity OS, where they have backstory that you miss if you create your own characters).

What the Microsoft money mainly went to was full voice acting for all the dialogue. I generally don’t like that in my CRPGs for the same reason I don’t like books on tape – I think it’s more fun to do the voices in your own head. But the voice acting is top notch, and I left it on through my first playthrough (you can just turn it off).

So, just ignore that, blame Microsoft, and you will have a fully un-faggotized gaming experience. Yes, you can side with the woman to bring down the patriarchy, but you’re not compelled to. However, you may want to side with the robot Ronald Reagan against the patriarch, if you so choose. There is no morality in the game, and if anything, “The Patriarch” is the good guy. You can also kill refugees, and one of the main gangs of bad guys are a Mexican clown gang.

I love everything about this game, and really can’t recommend it highly enough. Millennials who remember the old school CRPGs will love it, and it will hold the attention of ADD zoomers.

Wasteland 3 is 10/10.

Wasteland 3 50% off for $29.99.

The other top CRPG I recommend is Disco Elysium. This is a Russian game from a guy who is maybe a leftist, but it is filled with right-wing references. You can actually even become a complete fascist, with all of the memes.

The game has no combat, and would really be a visual novel if it wasn’t for the dice roll system, which is primarily in dialogue (you roll to see if you can convince people of things, or draw up the emotional strength to make arguments).

It is a top notch detective story in its own right, game aside. You play as [name is a spoiler], a down and out cop in a dystopian otherworldly/sci-fi/steampunk version of the 1990s former USSR.

It’s difficult to even describe the mechanics of this game. The core gameplay is story, but they mixed in all of these various ways to build your psychotic character by choosing his thought patterns and mental traits. It’s truly unique, and I’m hoping that more people will pick up on this new and innovative kind of gameplay and make more games like this (frankly, it was clear that the writers of Wasteland 3 had played Disco Elysium, which has released more than a year and a half earlier).

The team recently released a (totally free!) “final cut” version of the game with full voice-acted narration. I was a little bit disappointed with the narrator, though I don’t like all that voice narration anyway, so in my playthrough of the Final Cut, I just turned it off. Unless you’re too ADD to read hundreds of thousands of words (over maybe a 40 hour playthrough), I recommend setting the audio to “classic mode” which has a few voice actors but no narration (you have to read the parts that aren’t being spoken and a lot of the spoken parts). However, some people don’t like reading that much, so maybe they will prefer the narration.

Like every game on this list, it’s indie (almost entirely made by one guy, actually), so the graphics are minimalist (made in Unity) but the game contains a huge amount of painted art, all of which is fantastic.

Disco Elysium is 10/10.

It’s 35% off for 25.99.

In a completely different genre is Phoenix Point. This was created by the original creator of XCom who got his IP stolen by the Jews. It is much better than XCom 2, frankly, in pretty much ever way. All of the mechanics are better – including the aiming system, which prevents the retarded “miss at point blank” phenomenon XCom players are so familiar with).

It has a great mix of scifi and Lovecraftian cosmic horror that feels much less stale than the XCom themes.

The only issue I take with the game is that it sort of overextended itself on the economy aspect, implementing elements of basically 4X gaming, and the economy still feels unbalanced. I haven’t played it in nearly a year, and was hoping that they would take my advice and hire someone with experience with 4G games to fix the economy. The tactical combat, which is the core gameplay, is just perfect, so it is sad that you can get bogged down in economy stuff which should just be there to support the core tactical gameplay.

The devs have shown high dedication, and some economy issues have been fixed (the issue is that they end up breaking other things). The economy can also interfere with the story, as you’re supposed to be heroes, but when you get to a certain level of gameplay, the only way to get resources is to engage in terroristic piracy. Long story short, there are three factions and the devs thought you would side with one or two and then have the third declare war on you (in which case it would make sense to be robbing them), but the natural way most players end up going is to try to maintain peace with all three factions (since they each give you unique bonuses and special missions). The game doesn’t prevent you from leveling out the relations with the three factions, but then you have to resort to robbing people you’re aligned with for resources.

The part that ends up being hilarious is that you get resources from rescuing the different factions when they are attacked, but if you kill alien bases, they no longer need rescuing. So there is an incentive to allow the aliens to spread, so they will get attacking bases, so you can keep getting resources as a reward. It ends up that you’re working with the aliens to scam post apocalypse survivors, a bit like how Alex Jones describes the CIA working with Moslem terrorist groups in order to get funding for their wars. If you can get into role-playing as fake heroes that are actually using the aliens to cause terrorism to fund a war machine, the narrative works and the economy sort of works.

The game is very similar to XCom 2, it’s just a lot better in terms of the tactics. But because XCom had more money, it is more polished around the edges.

(Please do not mind the fact some of the art includes a black man standing next to a white woman – you can make all your own characters and choose their race.)

I give it an 8/10 (but if they fix the economy, it will be pretty much a perfect 10/10 game).

Pheonix Point is 50% off for $24.99.

Other Mentions

A recent city builder that I had a lot of fun with last year was Tropico 6. It has strategy elements, but is primarily focused on economy. It has fun characters and themes, and would probably qualify as a “right wing game.”

I’d give it an 8/10.

It’s 50% off for $19.99.

Frostpunk is a different kind of city builder. It is a colony sim survival game. It’s pretty high difficulty. I like the aesthetics and gameplay a lot, but the story elements are kind of depressing and tedious. It’s a really original game though – I’ve never played anything else like this.

The economy is always really tight and you’re always struggling to keep people alive, so it creates a tension that most colony sims don’t have.

I give 8/10.

Frostpunk is 67% off for $9.89.

Lastly, I have to mention Snowrunner.

This is a physics based truck simulator, which is more autistic than Stardew Valley, and yet is somehow mesmerizing. I despise the upgrade system, and the smaller “scouting” trucks are not balanced at all and do stupid things that make no sense (probably because the physics were built for the big trucks), but it is in many ways close to perfect.

Note: this gameplay is very, very slow.

Also, please be warned that despite the name, only one of three levels is snowy.

I give it 8/10.

Snowrunner is 20% off at $23.99.

That’s All

I can’t receive normal donations, so a lot of people buy me video games. So I have a lot more video games than I have money. It’s kind of a weird life dynamic, but I get to try out a lot more games than the average person, despite the fact I have often struggled to pay for basic things, and have had to fire most of the staff (remember to donate, plz).

During the various stages of the Virus Hoax, I had time to play games, and the above are the ones that I really ended up spending time on. They are all good.

At some point, maybe I will do a write-up of the worst games I’ve played (because there have been a lot of bad ones).

For those interested, all of these games can be played while listening to podcasts in the background, save for Wasteland 3 and Disco Elysium. That is of course my preferred method of gaming, though I do love a good immersive RPG.

The Steam Summer Sale ENDS in the morning on July 8.

Disco Elysium is on Sale for Its One Year Anniversary https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/10/16/disco-elysium-is-on-sale-for-its-one-year-anniversary/ Fri, 16 Oct 2020 00:00:00 +0000

I’ve never actually written a proper review of Disco Elysium, but I do believe it is one of the best RPGs ever made.

I thought everyone should know that it is now on sale for $28 in the US.

In other countries, it’s significantly cheaper than that right now.

You all know the return policy of Steam – if you don’t like it in 2 hours, you get your full money back. And you will know in two hours if you like it.

I am not getting paid for this, by the way. (I don’t ever get paid for anything, frankly.)

I also want to give a shoutout to the Game Boy version of the game, which looks incredible.

You can play the Game Boy edition in your browser here.

I intended to write a review of this game, but I got caught up, as things go. What I will say is that you will never play anything else like this, and it is worth $28 simply to experience something that is this original and outside of the norm of gaming.

I hope that this launches a new wave of games, in line with this. Made with Unity, it was cheap.

Frankly, I would like to make one myself, and I actually would if I had access to normal financial services.

But of course I do not have access to normal financial services, because I have been declared evil.

If I hadn’t been declared evil, and had access to normal financial services, I would definitely base my game on Disco. That is, it would be entirely dialogue-based, without fighting, and the rolls would all be dialogue rolls. Ironically, I would probably make it less political than Disco.

At one point in the game, the struggles of Andrew Anglin to explain the woman issue are mentioned:

I have been thinking of doing some Let’s Plays of games and uploading them to BitChute, and I would frankly like to do this one. However, I don’t think I can manage all of the reading aloud. As you may be aware, I have a kind of dyslexia, and reading aloud is especially exhausting for me. But reading this game aloud would be a chore for anyone, as the game is not really anything other than reading, along with the occasional dice role. It’s closer to a visual novel than it is to most modern RPGs, frankly, given that there is no combat.

Probably, my first BitChute Let’s Play is going to be Wasteland 3 instead. I might also try to stream it on one of these sites that allow free speech streaming, though I haven’t decided if chat interaction would increase the quality of the recording itself. I’ll probably mix it up.

Anyway, I think adding some games stuff to the site is a good idea, and it’s something I’m going to be figuring out during this cold, locked down winter here in Nigeria. So look for that. And I’m open to suggestions.

Me and Tony Castle (co-host of Azzmador’s show and infamous superchatter) have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 co-op, and he’s recording it, so we’re probably going to upload that soon.

Valve Permanently Restricts Steam Users’ Accounts for Reviewing BLM Troll Game https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/07/24/valve-permanently-restricts-steam-users-accounts-for-reviewing-blm-troll-game/ Fri, 24 Jul 2020 00:00:00 +0000

They’re coming for your vidya.

And they’re coming hard.

One Angry Gamer:

Valve allowed the controversial troll game Black Lives Matter onto Steam. Within hours it had collected a large number of reviews mocking both the movement and the invalids who support the movement. Well, Valve didn’t take kindly to that and various users who left negative reviews mocking the very obvious propaganda found their accounts permanently banned from the community services.

One user who left a negative review found himself on the wrong end of a community perma-ban.

In an e-mail he explained…

“I wrote one of the reviews you featured (in the time the timer took to run down…) and got perma banned from steam yesterday. I can still play games but that is it, this hasn’t just affected the account I wrote the review on, but a 2nd account I had linked to the same phone number, as well as a throwaway steam account I haven’t accessed in a year.”

He provided screenshots of the ban as well, where Valve notified him that his account violated Steam’s terms of service agreement, so account functionality would be limited.

This is the message he got:

Next time you think about writing a review on Steam, it might be a good idea to check how woke the people who made it are or aren’t.

The account limitations included no longer being able to trade with other users, no longer being able to invite people to games, no longer being able to edit the user profile, upload content, comment, or interact with any of Steam’s community features.

Worse yet is that he was then banned from being able to purchase new games, gift, trade, or even buy or sell items on the marketplace. Even CD key activation had been deactivated, meaning he can no longer purchase games from Amazon or Humble Bundle and activate the keys on his account.

They didn’t outright ban people from accessing their games like they did with the Russian guy, because I assume they figured out that’s just outright illegal.

This is idiotic for so many reasons, but think purely practical – why would you not allow people to buy games?

Banning users from writing reviews or accessing the forum would sorta make sense, but banning people from buying games is just outright hurting your own business for no reason.

It is unlikely that Gaben is aware that these things are happening. He is a busy man. And this is only getting reported on a Gamergate blog (and on Daily Stormer, sourced from the Gamergate blog).

A similar thing happened to a Russian gamer, who was also permanently banned from using Steam’s community features, but the support staff took it one step further and permanently banned him from even being able to access his game library. He decided to take measures to contact the Russian consumer protection agencies and look into suing Valve for illegally preventing him from accessing products he paid for.

In the case of the Black Lives Matter ban, it was noted that other user reviews mocking the movement and the troll propaganda on Steam were also removed from the public’s view.

In the e-mail, the user who had been banned noted…

“I’ve reached out to steam support but haven’t recieved a reply yet, and on top of this it seems that most of the high rated reviews have had their accounts banned. “Game stole my bike guy” seems to have vanished along with all but one of the reviews you featured.”

It’s not just the reviews getting axed from the store page for Black Lives Matter, users are being widespread banned from participating in the forums as well, especially if they criticize Israel.

Additionally, threads stating “All Lives Matter” are quickly locked or outright deleted.

Guilty Spark’s thead that was posted on July 20th, 2020 was locked after 41 comments.

Another thread made by One-HiT KiLLeR on July 6th, 2020 was later locked on July 21st, 2020 shortly after the game went live.

Threads that pointed out that Black Lives Matter was a terrorist organization and that ActBlue – the company who processes the payments towards the Black Lives Matter organization – is a DNC PAC, were also locked.

Essentially, Valve’s response to the criticisms is to make the critics go away; to censor dissent and to squash any attempts to mock or ridicule BLM propaganda.

Permanently restricting accounts ensures that most people will never say anything publicly about the domestic terrorist group again. This kind of heavy-handed censorship is to going to be used to create a chilling effect, to stifle speech, and to allow terrorist to continue to rape and ravage the rights of Americans.

The Russian guy is eventually gonna get his games back, but he’ll probably get all the restrictions these other people have, also on a permanent basis.

Of course, them not being able to take your games away for now doesn’t mean they won’t be able to do it some time in the future.

And it’s unclear how much longer laws are gonna matter at this point anyway…

The guy who made this “game” actually did it as some kind of protest against people not being woke the right way. It’s also not even a game. Look at the Steam page for it. It’s just a black screen with numbers.

He made a post you can read here where he admits the game was a troll to make a point, then whines that people get hysterical about internet drama and calls blacks dying from malaria in Africa a “civilizational failure of 2020,” by which he means that it’s whitey’s fault for not giving gibs fo mo programz.

But more importantly, I suggest you figure out a long-term gaming solution in case something like this happens to you, since this is all going to just get worse after Gabe Newell’s inevitable demise from turning himself into a human yurt.

He’s 57 and 570 pounds, and when he is gone (and quite possibly before that), Steam is going to have the same rules as Twitter or Facebook. The new speech and behavior restrictions will be enacted swiftly and without mercy.

I know this all sounds like a stupid concern to some people, given all the other insane stuff that’s happening all around us, but you need some escapism once in a while.

Even people in the stone age, where literally every day was a struggle for survival, painted on cave walls, invented musical instruments, whacked each other in the head with sticks, and did other things that had no survival value, because those things are necessary so you don’t lose connection to reality.

Steam Permabans Russian User, Blocks His Library for “Extreme Racism” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/06/10/steam-permabans-russian-user-blocks-his-library-for-extreme-racism/ Wed, 10 Jun 2020 00:00:00 +0000

It appears that Steam, the one hold-out in a universe of censorship, is beginning to crack.

This comes after the Jewish Anti-Defamation League, an Israeli lobbying group, began making moves against them.

This is a very sad day.

One Angry Gamer:

A Russian Steam user going by the handle lcompote found himself permanently banned from the Steam community and from accessing his game library after Valve dropped the hammer on him for “extreme racist spam”.

Over the course of several years, dating back to 2017, lcompote (who brandished the Steam screen name of President Trump) made various comments and shared criticism about certain games without holding back how he felt.

You can view the entire album containing the times the Steam moderators removed his comments or took action against his account, which eventually led up to a permanent ban, and his inability to access all the games he had acquired on his account over the years. While some of the moderator comments are in Cyrillic, the comments that he made in the threads are in English.

The Imgur album is here.

Basically, he just called people cucks and faggots all the time, which in all fairness they probably were. The fact that this isn’t actually very extreme might mean that they’re coming for all of us, soon. Or maybe it really was spam? We shall have to wait for the truth of the matter to be uncovered.

As you can see from the screenshots, lcompote was mostly reprimanded for replying to other users in threads about games he played, ranging from Ring of Elysium and Draugen to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dying Light: Bad Blood. His inclusion of profanity triggered the moderators something fierce.

After his latest run-in with Steam support, lcompote found himself in a back-and-forth with the support representative, and they not only permanently banned him from the Steam community but also blocked him from logging into his account or accessing his game library back on February 28th, 2020.

And now whenever he tries to get into his account, he gets this error message:

I like how right next to it they’re also telling him to make an account.

Subtly, and probably unintentionally, salting the wound.

He explained that questioning support about the community ban is what led to the permanent account ban, writing…

“As you can see some [comments] date back to 2017 Apparently they all count to this day and summarize into a ban.”

This wasn’t a troll constantly spamming the Steam forums.

This wasn’t a guy on a vendetta to badger or hound down developers.

This wasn’t someone who spent all day and night in the community dropping lurid language or profane comments.

He simply said some things over the course of three years that the Steam support didn’t like, and decided to permanently ban him from accessing his account over those comments.

He can no longer play any of the games purchased, nor log into his account to his stats or profile. He’s unable to even play in offline mode since he has to log into Steam to access offline mode, and they’ve banned him from logging in.

That’s gotta hurt!

That’s also gotta be illegal, and the guy says he’s gonna sue Steam, which is a good thing.

He might win, but it’s not clear for how much longer legal avenues will work.

Stealing someone’s games is illegal, but more and more illegal things are becoming legal when there’s racism involved, so it’s a good idea to always have a backup plan for everything.

As far as gaming goes, your backup plan should be not buying any games that aren’t DRM-free.

The very concept of DRM – which stands for “Digital Rights Management” – literally amounts to paying for something and that something not being yours. If you purchase a product locked with DRM, you are actually not purchasing it at all, but renting it.

You are renting from corporations increasingly staffed by mentally ill people who think you belong in a gulag if you don’t agree that men who cut their dicks off become women, and if they decide to expel you because they disagree with your politics, you may not have any renter’s rights. The Russian lawsuit should establish that, in theory, but who knows.

Steam may well reverse the decision against the Russian before it even goes to court. But there will be more problems. Gabe Newell, Steam’s CEO and the man responsible for keeping the platform censorship free all these years, is 57 years old and weighs about 570 pounds. He isn’t going to be in charge forever, and when he goes, your freedom is going to disappear like a flash of lightning.

I understand people want to support games they like, just to get more of them if nothing else, but accepting this kind of control over your life from these corporations is much more destructive in the long run than you can imagine.

You should look for your games DRM-free moving forward. GOG is a site that offers that.

If the game isn’t available there, then… well, let’s just say there are other options.

ADL Jews Demand Steam Begin Engaging in Gross Political Censorship https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/04/20/adl-jews-demand-steam-begin-engaging-in-gross-political-censorship/ Mon, 20 Apr 2020 00:00:00 +0000
Nope nope nope nope nopenopenopenope

It just never ends with these people. You give them every single thing they asked for, and before you’re finished handing it over they’re asking for more.

Jews are now officially demanding that online gaming be made “inclusive” and “free of hate.”

gamingindustry.biz:

In the fight against hate and harassment, the games industry is faced with a unique challenge.

As Daniel Kelley, assistant director for the Anti-Defamation League’s Center for Technology and Society, points out for us, games “straddle two universes” in a way other companies haven’t had to.

“On the one hand, games are media,” Kelley says. “You can talk about hate and harassment in the same terms you talk about it with movies or TV. Whose stories are being told? Who’s being included, who’s being excluded?

“At the same time, online games are social platforms. A comic book is not a social platform, so the fandom that exists around it exists on platforms that are not necessarily run by the comics industry. The game industry is creating social spaces. Online games are social spaces, so the responsibility for the form that hate and harassment take in those spaces is the responsibility of the companies that make those games.”

The comics industry doesn’t exist. It was wiped out by this stupid Jew “social justice” bullshit, which is really just an attack on white men.

Gary from Nerdrotic has been covering in detail the fact that there is zero chance the comics industry will exist after coronavirus. That probably would have been the case anyway, but he’s been outlining the sales statistics and the comics shops closures that happened before the flu hoax, and comparing that timeline to the timeline of this weird diversity agenda they started pushing, and it’s just phenomenal the way the entire industry was just collapsed in on itself. Profits were flatly rejected in exchange for delivering a product that no one was asking for in the form of bizarre political propaganda written by women and Jews.

The fact that the ADL cites this as some kind of victory really tells you where they’re at. They do not care, at all, if an entire industry collapses because it followed their advice. If it’s an industry that white men cared about, then they actually view that as a positive.

The big companies in the gaming industry already sold out to these people, but now they’re demanding mass censorship of the players themselves. Because someone said something mean.

That means game companies are having to fight hate on two different fronts, and success on one front doesn’t necessarily mean success on the other. Kelley notes that despite some missteps Blizzard has gone out of its way to create an inclusive roster of playable heroes for Overwatch. So from a games-as-media perspective, one might think it’s a commendable example of progress for the industry. But according to an ADL survey from last year, the game still has a long way to go in fighting hate from a social platform perspective.

“In our survey, 75% of people who played Overwatch experienced harassment,” Kelley says. “So it’s unclear to me at this point how efforts to make games more inclusive as media interacts with games as social spaces and the harassment we see in those spaces.”

The problem of how social platforms can successfully fight hate is of particular concern to Kelley, who sees much of the industry adopting the tactics of Facebook or Twitter circa 2006, with terms of service and user behavior policies on major games more or less aping the same language as those platforms used to. That’s concerning in light of how those platforms went on to shape the world we live in.

The article starts out talking about Blizzard, but of course what they actually want is Steam, which is the single major technology company to refuse to engage in targeted political censorship at the behest of the Jews.

When I ask if any of those big companies have been negligent enough to deserve being singled out, Kelley doesn’t hesitate.

“I would say Valve, absolutely. Valve has been actively pushing against this kind of work. At the same time Discord and Twitch were expanding their policies around hate, harassment, and extremism, that was around the same time [Valve] was like, ‘We allow anything except for trolling and illegal content.'”

….

“From my understanding, there are a lot of efforts going on at a lot of companies, but in my mind, [Valve has] the longest way to go,” Kelley says.

This is about eliminating any place on earth for white men to act like white men.

We were kicked out of the real world, so we went into a virtual world, now they’re hunting us there.

Thankfully, Gaben.

“Nope.”

Gabe needs to go on a friggin diet, because he’s 57 and and you just can’t sustain that kind of mass into your 60s. When he goes, Steam is going to go to the Jews. And you’ll still be locked in your house – but you won’t even be able to play video games.

We need a petition to get Gabe on a diet.

Ring of Elysium: Anime BR Review Including Exclusive Superior Tactics Guide https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/12/22/ring-of-elysium-anime-br-review-including-exclusive-superior-tactics-guide/ Sat, 22 Dec 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Gottfried Sturmherr
Daily Stormer
December 22, 2018

A Chinese challenger has appeared on the free-to-play battle royale vidya scene.

Tencent’s Ring of Elysium was recently released in early access on Steam and I have tested the game extensively.

Early indicators are that RoE could end up being the best offering of the genre. I am quite certain that Epic and PUBG’s CEOs are already ringing up Justin Trudeau and demanding he kidnap Tencent’s CEO immediately.

Before I get to my own superior tactics guide, let’s check out the review at IGN.

IGN:

Now that battle royale games have become legion, the new arms race is to find clever ways for a new game to set itself apart from the Fortnites and PUBGs of the world. In Tencent’s winter-themed Ring of Elysium, which recently launched as a surprisingly polished early access game with cosmetic-only microtransactions, there’s more than a little inspiration taken from those two behemoths, but its wintery theme, clever new ideas around movement, and exciting final moments make it feel distinct.

It most definitely has a very distinct feeling to it. The entire in-game atmosphere is much more inviting than PUBG’s. Although movement may feel somewhat clunky at first, it is much better than PUBG was when it entered Early Access. You can vault already, imagine that!

Here, a smaller-than-average group of 60 players (either alone, in pairs, or in groups of up to four) battle it out to escape a deadly blizzard that ravages remote mountain towns. But unlike the usual trudging around on foot or the occasional vehicle, Ring mixes up the way you get from point A to point B with a map that features not only ski lifts, but also gives you access to snowboards, hang gliders, and mountain-climbing gear. That change injects exciting creativity into the genre without going into off-the-wall fantasy.

You may say it is not very realistic to pull a glider out of your a**, however, it is not reaching levels of “LOL lemme just wall myself in kek” of Fortnite.

Choose between the glider pack, snowboard or climbing equipment

The weapon handling is fairly similar to what PUBG has to offer and weapon types are almost the same. A major improvement, however, is that while looting attachments, those will automatically be equipped to your weapon. If you drop a weapon, attachments will be placed into your inventory if you have enough room.

Weapons can fit two sight attachments, making it easy to switch between a red-dot and a four-times scope on your favorite AR via hotkey. Bind “Toggle fire mode” and with just pressing two buttons you can transform your rifle from close quarter combat to mid range fighting.

Outside of that, the biggest change that Ring of Elysium introduces is that there is not just one single winner at the end of a match. Instead, as the storm closes in and wreaks havoc on your surroundings, a helicopter flies in to rescue survivors – but it’s only got four seats. So regardless of whether you play as a four-person squad or not, only four people can leave the match alive, and that gives the last moments a fresh and completely exhilarating change of pace. The evacuation zone is clearly marked for everyone so it results in a mad dash as each person scrambles for the chopper and shoots down others trying to climb the ladder. This can create utter chaos and sheds a bright light on what makes Ring of Elysium feel so new.

The cosmetic-only micro-transactions include cool anime-style skins, and clothing for your custom avatar

The zone mechanic is much better and provides more diverse and surprising development during a match. While you are still able to predict where hostile players may be moving into the zone, it is much harder for high-end gamers to predict and minimize ambushes.

Especially exciting is the final zone with the helicopter arriving and almost always fierce fighting ensuing.

Outside the action, Ring of Elysium also takes inspiration from another source for how it asks you for money. There’s a robust “Adventure Pass” that works just like Fortnite’s Battle Pass, in which you unlock tiers of rewards that include new skins and XP boosts, many of which can only be accessed if you pay for the season’s pass. I don’t usually pay for optional cosmetics in games, but I ended up dropping $10 for this season’s content and look forward to unlocking all of the skins. Other than that, Ring of Elysium is entirely free to play if cosmetics don’t matter to you at all.

This must be especially interesting to all 9-year-old players, who do not get sufficient allowance – you do not need to steal your mother’s credit card to play this game!

With Q (default setting) you can mark positions for your friends

Gone are the times of intense screaming over the microphone, hastily looking for degrees and subsequent deaths of teammates. No more “HE IS RIGHT THERE” “AT TWO-SIXTY-FIVE” “NORTH EAST NEAR THE SHACK!!!”

Instead just a very calm: “Marked.”

Some people have been complaining about less randomness due to the lack of an airspawn.

One major break with battle royale tradition that I feel eliminates an exciting element of randomness and strategy is that Ring of Elysium ditches the air drop concept and simply lets you pick where you want to spawn on the map.

The spawn location of the other players is visible, which means you can get into very early fighting, if that is how you like to play. You also start with a weapon and even if you do not find a gun immediately, you are still better off than in PUBG. Anyone who has searched three houses without finding a gun and ended up getting snacked by a shotgun knows what kind of frustration I am talking about.

The kind of frustration where things break around you and neighbors start bumping the wall.

The author’s favorite skin: Hikage Pale Raven

As a new early access game, Ring of Elysium is already more polished and feature-rich than many of the other battle royale games out there. By injecting a fresh take on movement with creative solutions like snowboards and streamlined loot management, in addition to an escape chopper that creates a last-second rush to be one of four survivors, Tencent has introduced a surprisingly inventive version of what’s become gaming’s hottest and most crowded new genre. It’s still got a few kinks to work out, but in its current state it already offers a fantastic experience that’s completely free of charge for anything but cosmetics.

We agree with the judgment wholeheartedly. Unless Tencent does a royal Oopsie and goes full on greedy Jew, little stands in the way of Ring of Elysium superseding Fortnite and Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds.

Superior Tactics Guide

Ok, people, let’s get to what you came here for.

Package selection and location choices:

Glider. All the way. Always pick the glider. While you are able to carry a lot more choosing the climbing pack and your mobility uphill is slightly better, your overall mapcontrol with the glider is immensely overpowered, if done correctly.

Being able to specifically select engagements and ambush enemies mostly without them even realizing cannot be outdone.

Choose one of those starting locations

Depending on whether you prefer intense early fights or to mind your own business, make your pick in one of those locations. The Western part of the map has greater elevation giving you the air superiority you need.

Ideally, you are done looting after the initial three minute timer.

Midgame positioning and strategy:

Since it is very obvious how to play if you do not want to take engagements (just don’t engage) we will focus on how to play if you want to f*** your enemies up!

If the next safe zones are on your side of the map, you can either relocate to positions with higher elevation in your areas or start hunting for others within proximity.

You may also evaluate possible entry points of enemies who are currently outside the safe zone and set up an ambush.

Otherwise you start moving to positions with higher elevation, secure and hold them until the time of the zone is about to run out.

Best positions to start from

Depending on where the zones are exactly, how much resistance you encounter during your travel, and your overall situation, you must decide when to do the jump and start gliding into or toward the zone.

Usually, it is a good idea to time it in a way that you enter the safe zone with maximum altitude and minimum time on the clock. This means that within a few seconds of you entering the safe zone, the new safe zone will be revealed.

You can now either choose to locate to the most elevated position in the last safe zone, being the first to reach it (most of the time) giving you a significant advantage toward the enemy players still alive.

Or you can locate enemies (usually around the edges of the safe zones) and get involved. It has proven to be tricky business. While it is easy to locate enemies visually or through gun fire, others can do the same.

And while you may get the drop on one or two players, a third one may have just been observing the situation and end you.

Gliding to safety, the map enables the use of the glider until the very end, most of the time

Endgame and escape:

Following this superior tactics guide you should be able to make it to the endgame very consistently, while also having a lot of fun annoying the living hell out of the others. Top ten ratings well above 60% and win ratings well above 20-30% are something even an average player can achieve this way.

How to position yourself depends highly on the location of the last circle, the previous circles and your choice of positioning before the revelation of the final circle.

As a general rule of thumb you can never go wrong with high ground.

How to escape and what to do in which situation has (mostly) little to do with the choice of the package in the beginning. It is also easily the most exciting and thrilling part of the game and we hope this guide will help you bring a lot of joy to your heart and a lot of pain to your enemy’s.
