Some of the people who were arrested during a 2017 protest over the acquittal of a white police officer in the shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith have started receiving their share of a $4.9 million settlement the city agreed to this year.

The first checks were distributed Friday to some of the 84 people covered by the settlement. Their lawsuit had claimed the protesters’ rights were violated when they were caught in a police “kettle” as officers surrounded and arrested everyone in the area. Three people who filed individual lawsuits also settled for $85,000 each.

The city denied wrongdoing as part of the settlement, which promises payouts between $28,000 and more than $150,000.

Dekita Roberts told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that she initially thought it might be a scam when she first got the call about the settlement.

“It was just a shock and a surprise,” said Roberts, adding that she wants to invest some of the money and try to set some aside for her children.

Another man who picked up his check Friday, Ali Bey, 36, said he plans to use the money to start his own construction company.

“This takes five steps out of the way for me,” Bey said. “As far as getting a truck and tools, I can begin doing that by the end of the day. I already got some of the clientele.”

They were among the crowd of people protesting after former St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley was acquitted in the Dec. 20, 2011, shooting death of Smith, who was Black.

Protesters said police surrounded more than 120 people who officers said did not follow dispersal orders. Several people claimed police used excessive force and indiscriminate pepper spray, including against bystanders who were not protesting.

St. Louis has paid more than $10 million altogether in connection with police actions on Sept. 17, 2017. That includes a $5 million payment to Luther Hall, a Black undercover officer who said he was assaulted by fellow police officers who thought he was a protester.

I’m really glad race relations are getting so much better, what with all of this money pouring into the black community.

Especially in St. Louis – things are just getting better and better, as we really see the utopia unfolding.

Kia and Hyundai are both Korean companies.

Korea doesn’t have black people, and thus they do not have a problem with car theft.

If they are going to export cars to countries with black people, they need to make them very difficult to steal. That is just common sense.

The city of Baltimore has filed a federal lawsuit against car manufacturers Kia and Hyundai, joining a number of cities who say the companies created a public nuisance by making cars that can be easily stolen.

“Hyundai and Kia’s decision to put cost savings and profits over public safety has had significant consequences for Baltimore and its residents, as it has in other cities,” the lawsuit says.

Car thefts in the city have nearly doubled this year compared to the same time last year, part of a nationwide trend after videos showing how to easily steal the vehicles racked up millions of views on TikTok.

Certain Kia or Hyundai models can be stolen using a screwdriver and a USB charging cord.

Cleveland, St. Louis and Seattle are among the other cities that started suing the the car companies earlier this year. Baltimore’s lawsuit says the companies “failed to keep up with industry standards,” and claim it was a result of business decisions made to reduce costs and boost profits “notwithstanding decades of academic literature and research supporting the deterrent effects” of anti-theft technology.

“The dramatically increased rate of Hyundai and Kia theft in Baltimore has required city and police resources that would not have been needed but for Hyundai and Kia’s deliberate failures,” the lawsuit says. “Car thieves — many of them teenagers— take advantage of these failures and engage in reckless driving, creating substantial safety risks to themselves and Baltimore residents and their property.”

In February, 54-year-old Alfred Fincher was killed in East Baltimore after a man driving a stolen Hyundai fled from police, ran a red light on North Avenue, crashed into another vehicle and then smashed into Fincher, causing a vacant building to come tumbling down on both vehicles.

Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown recently joined 17 other local prosecutors in calling on the federal government to issue a recall for particular Hyundai and Kia models that have been stolen at increased rates within the past year.

A St. Louis man was arrested Tuesday after a video appeared to catch him nonchalantly shooting a homeless man execution-style in broad daylight.

Deshawn Thomas, 23, was arrested in connection with the Monday murder but has yet to be charged, police said.

Thomas can be seen struggling to load his gun as he stands right behind the homeless man, who is sitting on the curb just a few feet away, a bystander video posted online shows.

He then appeared to fire on the yet-to-be-identified victim, who raised his arms at one point, but made no attempt to run away and seemed almost resigned to his fate, the video showed.

“Oh my god. He just f–king killed him,” the witness can be heard saying.

The shooting happened in the heart of downtown St. Louis Monday at around 10 a.m., police said.

They are really starting to play up this stuff with black people.

All of these narratives are formed by AI social simulations. So, you have the blacks rise up in 2020, you change all these laws and change the society to put black people everywhere and to drastically increase their rate of violence, then you come back a few years later from the other side and say “what the hell is wrong with black people??? We should really be against these blacks because they are very bad – let’s talk about that!”

Meanwhile, the corporations that hired all of these “DEI” (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) professionals are firing them, and basically, nothing actually good happened for any black people as a result of the BLM movement, if you exclude the few who were able to get rich off it (it was mostly Jews, white people, and Australian trolls who got rich off it).

Black people were told they are oppressed, and encouraged to commit violence, especially against whites. Now whites are being told “wow, look at these black people.”

Neither group is talking about the Jews.

Renewed mask mandates took effect Monday in St. Louis and St. Louis County, reigniting tensions around public health restrictions, as the region struggles with climbing COVID-19 case rates.

The state’s top law enforcement official, Attorney General Eric Schmitt, said he filed suit Monday to block the measures. Gov. Mike Parson posted a series of comments on Twitter opposing renewed mask mandates. And three of St. Louis County’s seven council members said they would vote Tuesday to terminate the county order.

“It cheapens the whole issue of vaccinations,” said Councilman Mark Harder, R-7th District. “They say, ‘Wear a mask until you’re vaccinated,’ and we got vaccinated, and they want us to wear masks again? That’s not going to encourage vaccination.”

St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones and St. Louis County Executive Sam Page defended the new mandates at a City Hall press conference, saying they are needed to slow the rising numbers of coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.

“The delta variant has thrown us a curveball,” Page said. “It’s highly transmissible, and it’s now jeopardizing our progress.”

Page said the mask order will allow time for more people to get vaccinated. Though the vaccines are highly effective, he said, vaccinated people may still spread the virus to others.

Delta Variant is just coronavirus two.

Anyone who got vaxxed because they thought surrendering would lead to victory deserves all of the health problems and eternal hellfire they’re going to get for their troubles. No one has ever won by surrendering.

A grand jury on Tuesday indicted the St. Louis couple who displayed guns while hundreds of racial injustice protesters marched on their private street.

Al Watkins, an attorney for the couple, confirmed to The Associated Press the indictments against Mark McCloskey, 63, and Patricia McCloskey, 61. A spokeswoman for Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner declined comment.

The McCloskeys, who are both attorneys, have become folk heroes among some conservatives. They argue that they were simply exercising their Second Amendment right to bear arms, and were protected by Missouri’s castle doctrine law that allows the use of deadly force against intruders. The case has caught the attention of President Donald Trump, and Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson has said he will pardon the couple if they are convicted.

‘An outrageous abuse of power’: Republicans decry prosecution of McCloskeys, who trained guns on protesters

The McCloskeys also were featured speakers on the first night of the Republican National Convention. They’ve accused the “leftist” Democratic St. Louis leadership for their plight.

Gardner, a Democrat, charged the couple with felony unlawful use of a weapon. She said the display of guns risked bloodshed at what she called an otherwise peaceful protest.

Watkins said that in addition to the weapons charge, the grand jury indictment includes a tampering with evidence charge. It wasn’t clear what led to that additional count, he said.

The McCloskeys contend the protest was hardly peaceful. They say protesters came onto the private street after knocking over an iron gate and ignoring a “No Trespassing” sign, and said they felt threatened.

Watkins said accusations against the McCloskeys are “effectively demonstrating the highest degree of ineptitude and inappropriate behavior” from Gardner’s office.

The incident happened June 28 as protesters were walking toward the home of Mayor Lyda Krewson, a few blocks away. They suddenly decided to veer onto the McCloskeys’ street, prompting the confrontation that was caught on cellphone video. It showed Mark McCloskey in front of the $1.15 million home armed with an AR-15 rifle and Patricia McCloskey with a semiautomatic handgun.

A police probable cause statement said protesters feared “being injured due to Patricia McCloskey’s finger being on the trigger, coupled with her excited demeanor.”

Nine people involved in the protest were charged with misdemeanor trespassing, but the city counselor’s office later dropped the charges. The city counselor’s office handles lesser crimes and is not affiliated with the circuit attorney’s office.

This is an obvious public spectacle meant to intimidate the entire public, to send a message to the population that you cannot fight back against this mob, and if you do, you will be humiliated, and your life will be destroyed.

Everyone involved in this knows what’s going on.

They are sending you a message.

They’re not shy about it.

Just so you understand: the mob was on these people’s front yard, they were threatening them after breaking through their gate. The McKloskeys had every reason to think their lives were in danger, they had every reason to take a stand and defend themselves.

This isn’t only a part of American law, but a part of the ancient concept of “rights” that goes back to caveman times.

The blacks however are in the process of introducing a new concept of rights and laws, where if you are white, you have a legal obligation to be killed by them.

The St. Louis couple who became worldwide news after waving guns at protesters outside their Central West End home last month were charged Monday with gun crimes, despite pushback against the investigation from Jefferson City to Washington.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey each face a single felony count of unlawful use of a weapon — exhibiting. Charging documents say he pointed an AR-15 rifle at protesters and she wielded a semiautomatic handgun, placing protesters in fear of injury.

Charging documents say investigators conducted “numerous” witness interviews and relied on video footage and the McCloskeys’ own statements about the June 28 incident.

In a statement, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly M. Gardner said, “It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in nonviolent protest, and while we are fortunate this situation did not escalate into deadly force, this type of conduct is unacceptable in St. Louis.”

She said the charges followed a thorough police investigation and that she would be open to resolving the charges with a diversion program, a form of probation that would mean no conviction for the McCloskeys if successfully completed.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said he will seek dismissal of the charges and called them a case of “political prosecution.”

Defense lawyer Joel Schwartz issued his own statement, calling the charges “disheartening as I unequivocally believe no crime was committed.”

Schwartz said that “the First Amendment right of every citizen to have their voice and opinion heard … must be balanced with the Second Amendment and Missouri law, which entitle each of us to protect our home and family from potential threats.” Schwartz has previously told the Post-Dispatch that “based upon Missouri law and the Castle Doctrine, the McCloskeys were 100% within their rights.”

After the incident, the couple told the Post-Dispatch they would do it all again.

The couple said they’d been told days before that the protest group Expect Us was planning an event. Mindful of the June 1 arson of a 7-Eleven store in downtown St. Louis, the couple had fire extinguishers in every room on the lower level of their mansion. Mark McCloskey also had his rifle at the ready.

McCloskey said he saw a “flood of people” break through a locked gate and enter Portland Place, a private residential street.

Protesters have denied that, saying they came through an unlocked gate and did not damage it. A video from the night shows an apparently undamaged gate being held open for the first demonstrators, but at some later point, the gate was damaged. Protesters have also said they were not on the McCloskeys’ property.

The marchers were heading to St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson’s house on Lake Avenue and taking a shortcut through the private neighborhood.

The McCloskeys said they grabbed their guns and confronted the protesters, fearful for their lives. Mark McCloskey said both safeties were engaged on their guns. A lawyer for them later said the pistol was inoperable.

In a confrontation that lasted about 15 minutes, Mark McCloskey can be heard yelling, “Get out! Get out! Get out!” A protester responds, “Calm down!” while someone else yells an expletive.

“I believe in my heart of hearts that the only thing that kept those mobsters, that crowd, away from us is that we were standing there with guns,” Mark McCloskey told the newspaper. He said the couple’s actions had nothing to do with race.

It probably didn’t have anything to do with race. This mob had as many whites as blacks, and so far, when it comes to attacking individuals, the white Antifa have been much more brutal than the blacks.

It doesn’t matter what race is what, it matters that the mob was in their front yard.

But of course, the media and the government have established this whole race hoax as the basis of all of this, saying that whites are naturally born evil and thus without rights.

All of this fits into exactly what I’ve been telling you: the system is creating a situation where it will be illegal for you to defend yourself when the blacks come for you.

Yes, okay – the Governor of Missouri is saying he’s going to pardon the McKloskeys, Donald Trump is speaking out, and so on. Probably, this is going to get dropped eventually, and either way, I don’t think they’re going to jail.

But this isn’t about them as individuals. This is about establishing the concept that in America, it is illegal for whites to defend themselves, and if whites do defend themselves, it is an act of violence against the blacks.

If and when Joe Biden wins the election, these kinds of mobs are going to be roving through the suburbs, killing people. If they break into your house, and you shoot them in defense of yourself and your family, they will be declared “peaceful protesters” and you will be declared a “violent white supremacist murderer.”

At that point, the entire justice system and the government will be run by people like Kimberly Gardner, and you will have no one to come defend you. The death that you receive at the hands of the state will be worse than any death that a violent black and Antifa mob could bring down on you.

Who knows, maybe Trump will win and all of this will be put off for another four years. That’s possible. For that to happen, however, this coronavirus hoax has to be dismissed so that we can have a normal election, instead of an election through mail. That doesn’t look possible, especially given that Trump is going to lose this battle on the schools reopening.

So, hope for the best. But it’s time to start trying to get out of the cities. These violent mobs taking over American cities are the new normal, and when Biden is in, the protections against them killing you are going to be pulled completely.

The Jews are getting theirs in this campaign to destroy all of Western history. Of course, it is all part of a Jewish plot, but they are now going out there and making their own demands that people who wronged them be erased from history.

President Trump is fighting against this as well. He appears to now be on board with just fighting against everything that any of these people are trying to do.

President Trump said Tuesday he opposes a campaign to rename St. Louis.

“You won’t be changing the name St. Louis, will you?” Trump asked Missouri Gov. Mike Parson at a White House event on reopening schools during the coronavirus pandemic.

“No, we will not be doing that,” the Republican governor replied.

“Thank you. Thank you. That’s very important. Thank you very much,” Trump said.

St. Louis, a former industrial hub on the Mississippi River, is named for French King Louis IX, who died in 1270 while on a crusade.

A currently fringe effort to rename the city notes that while Louis IX is recognized by the Roman Catholic Church as a saint, he also tried to stamp out other religions during his 44-year reign.

The king ordered the destruction of thousands of copies of the Jewish Talmud.

Fewer than 1,000 people have signed a petition on Change.org calling for a new city name and for a statue of Louis IX to be removed.

The petition seeks to build off recent momentum associated with anti-police brutality protests, which resulted in the removal of many Confederate and colonial statues. Trump has strongly opposed the vigilante toppling of monuments.

St. Louis was a hero who fought against the Jews in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but he too will be forgotten and erased if this campaign continues unabated.

Everything about us, everything about our history and our identity as a people, is scheduled to be burned in this revolutionary fire.

There is no appeasing this mob, there is no negotiating with it, it must simply be squashed and put out, lest it spread to all aspects of our existence. They are already moving towards burning churches, with the attacks on “white Jesus” and now these attacks on saints who wronged the sickening Satan-worshiping Jews.

They will burn churches. They will burn churches with you in them. This will spin out of control very quickly, and the killing will spiral into a genocide rapidly.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether St. Louis police were aware of the incident. An email and phone call from The Associated Press to police weren’t immediately answered.

These people are boomers. They’re in their sixties. They didn’t know what was going on. They’re sitting at home watching their TVs, seeing these people rioting everywhere and burning everything, then they look out their window and see them marching through their yard screaming.

This is absolutely frightening, to be in a situation where these people are entering your property.

By the way, the media is simply lying when they say it was a sidewalk – they opened a gate and entered onto private property.

They were in these people’s yard. Those people had good reason to believe they were going to storm their house. They obviously have a very big house, and it is logical to assume that these people are going to start storming rich white people’s houses at any moment.

These people are coming for us, and the police are not going to protect us.

But if this mob would have stormed these people’s house and they would have shot them, the police would have been there instantly to arrest them for self-defense, and the prosecutor would have brought murder charges.

This is the situation: the law now only goes one way. The mob knows that. Because the mob is not a real thing. It is a creation of the state. The mob is being used as a weapon by the government/media against the people of the country. It is a manufactured mob.

They are going to start killing us. If Joe Biden wins, they are going to simply slaughter us all.

He is posting about this St. Louis event, acting like it is all so hip and cool and “wowee gee guys, what amazing culture warriors.”

What the hell does that even mean, “the suburbs are rising up”? These people are not “rising up” – they are under siege. That is the diametric opposite of “rising up.”

I’m also just going to say I’m tired of this retro 80s “ironic cool” bullshit. I don’t want to sound like the Grinch, but I actually just can’t really even take it anymore.

There is no energy in these memes and there is nothing cool or cute about this situation. These people were scared for their lives. They thought a mob of blacks was ready to rush their home.

This is not a joke, people. They are going to start slaughtering us. Everything is being set up for an actual genocide. You need to understand that and you need to take it seriously.

Sure, make memes, lionize people who stand up, okay, whatever. But there needs to be a serious tone here, at least sometimes, because nothing is presently indicating to me that you people understand what is going on.

Currently, the only thing that stands between us and a slaughter is the orange man, and his grip is very loose.

We need to figure something out and we need to do it quickly.
