It isn’t just the “far right” that can’t peacefully assemble in America without being attacked by brutal masked terrorists that are protected by the police. It is all white people.

Two towns in the South have canceled historical annual parades because of threats of attacks from Antifa.

Leaders in Wake Forest had said last week that the town’s parade would go on and include the Sons & Daughters of the Confederacy despite a planned demonstration. That decision changed once police learned that the number of expected protesters had grown from 10 to 200 people, Police Chief Jeff Leonard said in a statement released Wednesday.

The entire parade has now been canceled for safety reasons. This would have been the 72nd year of the parade, news outlets reported.

“We aren’t happy telling kids they can’t attend or participate in this year’s parade — but it’s better than trying to explain to a parent whose child was injured despite so many warning signs,” the chief said.

Wake Forest Mayor Vivian Jones released a video message saying she’s “angry, disappointed and heartbroken” that the event has been canceled. She says it’s not the most popular decision, but it’s the safest decision.

The town of Garner also canceled its Christmas parade this year over fears that a float sponsored by the Sons of Confederate Veterans would be “targeted for disruption.”

What we are experiencing in this country is a de facto ban on the First Amendment.

What the government is saying is this:

Sure, you have a right to assemble. But if men in masks show up and attack you, we won’t do anything to stop them. We also have a policy of not investigating anything they do, or prosecuting them, ever. Furthermore, if you defend yourself when they attack, you are liable to face prosecution for “rioting.” So go ahead and have your assembly, but you might all end up in jail because of it. We warned you.

On the other front, that of written speech, the same manner of thing is happening, with all internet companies organizing to make it so individuals with politically incorrect speech do not have the ability to publish.

Sure, you have a right to say what you want on the internet. But private companies have a right to ban you from all platforms, and we won’t do anything to stop them. If you get banned from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, you can start your own website. Of course, if Cloudflare decides to pull your DDOS protection, you won’t be able to keep it online. They have a right to do that because they’re a private monopoly. If you find a way around that, you won’t be able to register a domain, because all domain registrars are private companies. So in reality, you can’t say anything that these companies tell you you’re not allowed to say. But you could have in theory, if these companies had decided to allow you to say it.

It’s absolutely insane that we’ve allowed this to happen.

It is like a real life parody of the propaganda about Stalinist repression.

Stalin would be shocked and appalled by the level of abuse going on in America.

People should have stood with the Charlottesville protesters. And they should have stood with the Daily Stormer.

Now, less than three years later, no one has any free speech.

I’ve said it for years and I’ll say it again: ultimately, all Christian gatherings will be shut down using these same terrorist tactics, and all Christian speech on the internet will be banned using the same “it’s a private company” tactics. They will claim that the Christians are “homophobes,” and that this justifies any abuses against them.

A caravan of some 1,200 migrants from Central America and Cuba began moving towards the U.S. border from southern Mexico this weekend, migration authorities said on Sunday.

The National Migration Institute said the migrants were already inside Mexico when they opted to form a caravan in the southern city of Tapachula on the border with Guatemala.

Early on Saturday, the large group of people set off towards the town of Huixtla in the southern state of Chiapas, a route followed by previous groups heading north, the institute said.

I think he can’t ever write them though because he’s afraid of being politically incorrect. A lot has changed since he published book five in 2011. -AA].

Just from reading the synopsis and the names involved in the project, you know you’re going to get another one-dimensional take on the evil South – which, whether you’re Southern or not, is anti-white blood libel used like the Nazis as an avatar for why whites everywhere need to be killed or enslaved by colored people and Jews.

The evil white man media trope isn’t the fault of Hitler or the Conquistadors or the Boers or the Confederates – it’s the fault of lying Jews making a racial power play.

As HBO’s hit fantasy series “Game of Thrones” sets course for its surely explosive ending, the cable outfit is apparently eager to stay in business with showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Casey Bloys, president of HBO Programming, has announced that the pair are now signed on for a new original series, entitled “Confederate,” which will imagine an alternate American timeline in which a third civil war has irrevocably changed the fabric and landscape of the United States.

Per an official announcement, “Confederate” will follow “the events leading to the Third American Civil War. The series takes place in an alternate timeline, where the southern states have successfully seceded from the Union, giving rise to a nation in which slavery remains legal and has evolved into a modern institution. The story follows a broad swath of characters on both sides of the Mason-Dixon Demilitarized Zone – freedom fighters, slave hunters, politicians, abolitionists, journalists, the executives of a slave-holding conglomerate and the families of people in their thrall.”

The new series will be written and created by Benioff and Weiss, who will also serve as showrunners on the series. Partnering with them as executive producers and writers on the series will be Nichelle Tramble Spellman (“Justified,” “The Good Wife”) and Malcolm Spellman (“Empire,” the forthcoming “Foxy Brown”). Carolyn Strauss (“Game of Thrones”) and Bernadette Caulfield (“Game of Thrones,” “Big Love”) will also join as executive producers.

“As the brilliant ‘Game of Thrones’ winds down to its final season, we are thrilled to be able to continue our relationship with Dan and David, knowing that any subject they take on will result in a unique and ambitious series,” said Bloys in an official statement. “Their intelligent, wry and visually stunning approach to storytelling has a way of engaging an audience and taking them on an unforgettable journey. CONFEDERATE promises to be no exception, and we are honored to be adding the talented team of Nichelle and Malcolm Spellman to the mix.”

Every conflict in history has two sides to it.

A real historian looks at both sides, examines the evidence, weighs the pros and cons and usually comes to a conclusion somewhere in the middle. You can actually get away with this in academia when it comes to Classical history. That is why we’re constantly updating or criticizing one another’s opinions on Marc Antony, Julius Caesar or Cyrus the Great.

But when it comes to the Civil War or World War II, only pure Cultural Marxist ideology is allowed.

Demonstrators waved Confederate flags outside the Louisiana State Capitol on Thursday (May 4) in protest of New Orleans’ contentious decision to remove four monuments in the city representing the Confederacy and in support of three bills before the Legislature that aim to protect them.

Most demonstrators waved various Confederate and American flags and hailed from Louisiana, including Prairieville, Marksville, Opelousas, Jennings, Oak Grove, Morehouse Parish and Monroe. A couple were from Texas.

Amanda Jennings from West Monroe was one of the demonstrators wearing a Confederate baseball cap and a large, matching flag. She said she was physically attacked earlier this week when protesting at the monument of Confederate president Jefferson Davis.

“We were completely peaceful and had been the entire time,” Jennings said. “We’re way outnumbered.”

Jennings said college students, who she termed “terrorists,” harassed her and her fellow demonstrators. After that, “paid agitators” pushed her and threw full soda cans at her group. “It’s very organized,” she said.

The local political and financial establishment has recruited Judeo-Communist useful idiots from Black Lives Matter and Tim Wise’s alma mater, 27% Jewish Tulane University, to violently attack peaceful protesters trying to protect important relics of American history. Even a Based Black Guy ally to the white resistance was beaten up by Mayor Landrieu’s lackeys.

We’ve been saying for years now that antifas hate the Southern people. They want to destroy our identity. They hate our heritage. They hate our culture. They hate you for being Southern. We are their enemy. Your enemy is someone who wants to cause you physical harm. That’s what they want to do to us.

I don’t think the Confederate heritage crowd ever really understood that. They get hung up on slogans like “Heritage, Not Hate.” They are eager to tell you about legions of “Black Confederates.” Your enemy doesn’t care about these things though. They simply hate you. They want to erase you from public spaces. They’re only using the charge of “racism” as a club to bludgeon and humble you. Do you get it now?

We’re told that “antifas” are opposed to hate. They’re opposed to “fascism.” I have never once believed any of this bullshit. These people are ideologically motivated anarchists and communists. They love you so much that they will slash your tires, strike you with brass knuckles from blind alleys, throw rocks and hurl broken bottles at you, spit on you, scream at you, mace little old ladies, etc., etc. They are doing that because they hate you. You are their enemy. They want to harm you.

So, this brings us to New Orleans.

I’ve only traveled there as a tourist. I haven’t been there to spread racism or fascism. I know how antifas operate though and so last weekend I was in Pikeville, KY to stand beside the actual Nazis against the antifas. Why did I do that? I went to Pikeville, KY because antifas are my enemy. They want to cause me physical harm. I’m actually not a Nazi, but I am aware it is all the same to these people. We all know antifas are like rabid dogs who violently attack everyone to the Right of Vladimir Lenin.

I got a lot of criticism for that decision, but I still say it was a sound one. Antifas don’t care that I am a Southern Nationalist. I love the Southern people. I’m pro-White. I’m pro-Christian. I’m not ashamed of my ethnic, cultural or racial identity. I love my ancestors. I care about the welfare of my descendants. Again, in their eyes, all forms of nationalism might as well be Nazism. Trump is basically Hitler. When they scream “every nation, every race, punch a Nazi in the face,” a Southern Nationalist will suffice.

Earlier this week, Black Rebel, Arlene Barnum and other Black Confederate heritage activists were guarding the Jefferson Davis monument in New Orleans. None of us were there. There was no one who was remotely a fascist there on the ground in New Orleans. And yet, that didn’t matter to the antifas. They hate Black Rebel as much as they hate Richard Spencer, Ann Coulter or Milo Yiannopoulos. So they attacked them too on May Day and wrote a big triumphant story about it:

In related news, antifas committed serial arson in Philadelphia. They caused over $100,000 worth of damage there in vandalism alone. These people rioted in the streets of Portland, Oregon and Olympia, Washington. They hurled Molotov Cocktails at the police in Portland and Paris and engulfed police officers in flames. Can you imagine the kind of press we would get if any of us so-called “hate groups” were doing anything remotely similar to these people?

We know Arlene Barnum. We also remember what happened to Anthony Hervey after the Monumental Dixie rally in Birmingham, AL in 2015. We haven’t forgotten about that.

Note: As many have noted, this has less to do with the Civil War than the Second Civil War.

I often hear the mantra that race relations “isn’t a zero sum game.”

Why would we believe that? It’s not like black majority rule means the destruction of White monuments and their replacement by black monuments in public spaces:

“New Orleans officials can begin the process of removing the statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee at Lee Circle and three other monuments at the center of a long-running, city-led effort, a federal appeals court ruled Monday (March 6).

In the ruling, the three-judge panel with the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals found that the groups trying to block the removal of the monuments, Monumental Task Committee and the Louisiana Landmarks Society, failed to present a case that contained a legal argument that showed the monuments should stay up. The court wrote that the groups relied on two legal claims, “both of which wholly lack legal viability or support.”

Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s office said that a request for proposals will be issued within the next day to obtain bids for a company to remove the monuments, which will be stored in a city-owned warehouse until it’s determined what will happen to them. …”

What can we learn from New Orleans?

For the Heritage movement, the moral of the story is that someone always rules and in a multiracial democracy the outcome will be determined by demographics. Either White Southerners will rule New Orleans or blacks will rule New Orleans. There isn’t a third option.

If blacks rule New Orleans, then we can expect Confederate monuments to be removed, public spaces to honor black leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr., blacks to be favored in city contracts and all the familiar wonders of the urban black experience to flourish like blight, corruption and violent crime. This truth was understood by every generation between the Battle of Liberty Place and the Baby Boomers.

Fortunately, it isn’t too late to save other Confederate monuments in Louisiana. The solution is to take advantage of Louisiana’s statewide White majority to pass legislation to protect Confederate monuments from removal by black majority local governments:

“The measure passed 24-7 and forbids changes to public markers that have stood for more than 20 years.

Sen. Gerald Allen, a Tuscaloosa Republican, sponsored the legislation and said it was intended to preserve history. He batted down the criticism of five black senators during more than two hours of contentious debate, telling them that the bill also leaves monuments important to African-Americans intact.

“This bill is here to help you,” Allen told Sen. Hank Sanders, noting that it would also apply to the Edmund Pettus Bridge, which was made famous when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. walked over it during the Selma-to-Montgomery march in 1965. Sanders, a Selma Democrat, participated in the march.

“This bill in the name of protecting history is hurting history,” Sanders said. “I am deeply grieved by this bill.” …”

In Alabama, we have taken to heart the lesson that someone always rules, which is the reason why the Alabama Democratic Party has been reduced to a powerless black minority. To be perfectly honest, it is more important for Louisianans to relearn this lesson than to save the NOLA monuments. Just look at the logical conclusion of Rainbowism in South Africa. If we still believed we should rule in Louisiana, the monuments wouldn’t be coming down in the first place.

‘Civil Rights Icon’ Hank Sanders, who participated in the Selma-to-Montgomery March, was “deeply grieved” by the recent public monuments bill that passed the Alabama Senate. So what? Who cares if he cries ‘racism’? He doesn’t have his civil rights halo of moral authority anymore. We don’t care if he cries ‘racism’ because we don’t believe it is in our self-interest that Hank Sanders and black Democrats should rule. We understand that if they are allowed to rule in our state that they will govern with the interest of blacks alone in mind which will be harmful to our community.

We must always rule ourselves.

Many intellectual and political promoters of nation-state building end up on the “wrong side of history.” In fact, these are the code words used by mainstream historians when depicting those who failed in their political endeavors, lost the intellectual or political war, and earned themselves historical oblivion.

This is the main message resurfacing on the first page of Michael Cushman’s book. Being henceforth pushed into the realm of modern demonology, those on the “wrong side of history” and their hapless descendants are stripped of an objective historiographic narrative. Instead, they are forced to learn the language of the victor’s doubletalk: “reconstruction” or “reeducation.” Although Cushman does not venture into historical parallels with other European societies, one can draw a parallel between the post-Civil War South and post-World War II Europe. In his little book Sparte et les Sudistes (Sparta and the Southerners) (1969), French scholar Maurice Bardèche, himself a victim of the judicial “re-educational” process in the aftermath of World War II in France, traces the beginning of the end of Western civilization with the defeat of the South in 1865, which presaged the latter-day apocalyptic fallout in post-1945 Europe.

Cushman is clearly a serious scholar, as evidenced by the large number of footnotes and the impressive across-the-board bibliography containing citations of what are commonly described as “leftist” and “rightist” authors. Nowhere in his text are to be spotted grandstanding epithets on behalf of the Confederate Southerners or disparaging words against the Yankee Northerners. Mr. Cushman’s sober, erudite style will hopefully gain him an enthusiastic readership.

The author approach to the subject matter is highly intriguing, casting in hindsight a different light on the being and the becoming of the still strong American dream. The entire North American continent could have easily become something entirely different from what it actually became, or from what it still aspires to be in the years to come. The author realizes that history is open—that it is not a predetermined one-way street despite the all-too-frequent millenarian, eschatological, and end-times raving so often seen among those inclined to idealize America as a “city on the hill” located at the end of history. Most especially, this applies to the many neoconservative resident think tank scholars itching to spread the American dream to every nook and cranny of planet Earth—by military force if necessary.

In order to underscore the uniqueness of the birth and death of the South, the author examines its intellectual origins and its political-cultural development within the context of the “plantation civilization” encompassing the antebellum South, the Caribbean Basin, as well as parts of Latin America. The American Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers, and the writings of the much-venerated Founding Fathers of America, such as Jefferson and Washington, had little impact on the Southern mind. The much maligned Southern culture had in fact borrowed much from the hierarchical ancient Greco-Roman cultures, as well as from the Mediterranean-based late Renaissance period, while combining these influences with some features of modernity. Its social and economic success was based on the ingenuity of White settlers and their Promethean will to power which stressed individual meritocracy and which provided for the needs of African laborers. It was a culture of planters and cavaliers based on chivalry and honor. Of course, the picture presented by this Southern comfort was not always rosy, and Cushman should have probably added a paragraph on the many young White indentured laborers—“White slaves”—from England and continental Europe who were often subject to serious social and economic abuse during the not-so-golden period of the Golden Circle.

The common denominator Cushman chooses for the plantation civilization of which the South was once a part is “the Golden Circle.” Other than the English language, White Southerners shared little with their free-trade-minded, progress-obsessed White Northern neighbors whose mindset revolved—and still does—around money, business, and starry-eyed world-improvement. Seen in hindsight, the supreme irony of the history of Western civilization is that the antebellum South, although being geographically far away from continental Europe, had been far more successful in preserving the ancient European code of honor and the sense of the tragic than Europe itself. Much of what many European conservatives or traditionalists like to hearken back to had already been violently removed in Europe by liberal and communist revolutions that had swept over Europe in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Ironically, traditional European mores survived in a much better shape in what was once the antebellum South.

The power of ideas whose time has come is more powerful than all the power of any political process. Cushman dismisses the Hollywood stereotype of Southerners as drunken hicks and toothless boors. Indeed, he should have been more forceful in uncovering the impressive intellectual credentials and accomplishments of many Southern thinkers, such as the now largely forgotten Southern Agrarians centered at Vanderbilt University of the mid-1930s, whose apocalyptic visions of modernity bear astounding similarities to the ideas propagated by contemporary nationalists and traditionalists in Europe. He mentions on several occasions George Fitzhugh, a Southern scholar and a visionary who, a century before the Englishman George Orwell, had a solid grasp of the egalitarian mystique and who showed an unusual insight into the nature of rhetoric of the elite British of his day, which has been recycled by the American ruling class today.

Cushman’s book can be classified as a good prologue, or at least as a first chapter to his envisioned future work of his on this subject. It is also a roadmap for some other scholar willing to broaden the picture of the South. Alas, the ideology of progress, spearheaded by the modern United States, with its accompanying “re-educational” and “reconstructive” ukases against recalcitrant (“rogue”) states, has by now run its full course and is backfiring at home. The balkanized United States may soon be obliged to swallow the medicine it once forcefully administered to the South. The iron laws of nature cannot be wished away by pious preaching of the multicultural-multiracial dogma or the belief in perpetual economic growth. Neighboring Haiti, which had managed during the heyday of the Golden Circle civilization to get rid of allegedly wicked White slave masters, continues to languish as one of the most wretched spots on Earth. Its larger replica, the recently much praised post-apartheid South Africa, is being torn apart by chaos and turmoil. Similar violent fallouts from the multicultural dogmas being imposed throughout the West can be observed today in Detroit, soon to be followed by Atlanta, Los Angeles, and other cities in the United States. The good news is that history is always open, sometimes offering unexpected and pleasant surprises.
