This is how they extract “kambo”

This is strange, because you would think frog poison would be very healthy.

The Guardian:

It was unusual enough for a previously healthy 37-year-old man to suffer from a sudden perforated oesophagus, an uncommon and potentially fatal condition usually caused by prolonged, forceful vomiting.

But even more strange was that the man, who was also suffering from severe abdominal and chest pain when he arrived at a Sunshine Coast hospital, had three small, dark burn marks in a line on his left shoulder.

As hospital staff asked him standard questions about what he had been doing before becoming unwell, the man said he had taken part in a kambo ritual.

“What the heck is kambo?” junior doctor Christopher Darlington recalls asking himself as he assisted his colleagues in treating the patient, who required surgery to repair his oesophagus and spent 18 days in hospital.

“I’d never heard of it. And then I found out its use had come out of the Amazon as part of a tribal ritual and that somehow, as a result, we were dealing with an oesophageal perforation on the Sunshine Coast.

…

Kambo is the name given to secretions from a species of giant leaf frog native to South America. It is used as part of traditional cleansing ceremonies conducted by Indigenous tribes in the Amazon.

A 2022 paper published by Brazilian doctors in the journal Frontiers in Pharmacology describes how the slow movements of the frog mean it can be easily captured by shamanic healers. Once captured, it is stretched out in the shape of an X over branches, its front and back legs bound.

The frog is poked and prodded until the kambo is secreted from the skin, which is then scraped off with a stick. Then the frog is released – Indigenous healers believing harming the frog angers animal spirits.

During purification rituals, a shaman healer burns a line of dots into the participant, with the number of burns varying depending on factors such as the body part and the gender of the participant. The kambo is then applied to the burns. The participant drinks large amounts of liquid before the kambo is applied.

“Reactions are often strong and include tachycardia [increased heart rate], sweating, and severe vomiting … followed by a state of apathy and drowsiness,” the Frontiers in Pharmacology paper said.

This ritual has been adopted by the alternative health movement, including by people claiming to be shamanic healers in Australia, who incorporate its use as part of cleansing rituals.

In his paper, Darlington wrote: “The rise of the global alternative health movement has seen the spread of many cultural rituals far from their origins. This is problematic as people may undertake such practices unaware of possible risks, steps in preparation or traditional dosages.”

Kambo use has now been implicated in deaths worldwide, two of them in Australia.

Jarrad Antonovich, 46, died after using kambo at the Dreaming Arts festival in New South Wales in 2021. His oesophagus ruptured after severe and repeated vomiting due to kambo and consumption of ayahuasca, a South American psychedelic. Natasha Lechner died in 2019 aged 39 in a shamanic kambo ritual in Mullumbimby that went tragically wrong.

While kambo is banned in Australia, it is sold illegally online and there is no way to tell whether the substance is legitimate or sourced without harm to animals, says Prof Roger Byard, a forensic pathologist at Adelaide University.

…

He describes the adoption of kambo and other Indigenous rituals by so-called wellness healers in Australia and other countries as “an example of western arrogance”.

“A lot of these western wellness practitioners are exploiting people’s gullibility and exploiting those who are sceptical about western medicine,” Byard says.

“But the techniques of shamans and healers in Indigenous communities have been used for hundreds of years and they have been trained to safely use these substances for certain, specific situations.

“Yet it is being promoted here in Australia that kambo can be used for everything from chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety, vascular problems to Parkinson’s disease when there’s no evidence for that. To think that we can go into a community or spend a bit of time in another country and then take one of their time-honoured, cultural practices and then just take it for our own use is absolute western arrogance.”

People think they are so clever.

If you have a health problem, the best thing you can do is drink vodka and eat fermented herring.

That’s the real health science.

Norway’s Princess Quits Royal Duties to Start Scam “Medical” Business with Black Shaman Boyfriend https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/11/10/norways-princess-quits-royal-duties-to-start-scam-medical-business-with-black-shaman-boyfriend/ Thu, 10 Nov 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Disney lied about what women want.

If a woman becomes a princess, all she is interested in is a black shaman to start a new age medical scam with.

You know nothing about women.

The Guardian:

Princess Märtha Louise of Norway has relinquished her royal duties to focus on her alternative medicine business with her fiance, a self-proclaimed shaman, the palace has said.

The 51-year-old princess’s relationship with Durek Verrett, a Hollywood spiritual guru, caused waves in Norway after the “sixth-generation shaman” suggested in his book Spirit Hacking that cancer was a choice.

He also sells a medallion on his website labelled a “Spirit Optimizer”, which he claims helped him overcome Covid-19.

A poll in September found 17% of Norwegians now have a lower opinion of the generally popular royal family, nearly all citing the princess and the shaman as the reason.

“The princess … is relinquishing the role as royal patron … and will not be representing the royal house at the present time,” the palace said in a statement.

However, “in accordance with the king’s wishes, the princess will keep her title”.

The palace said that once the princess and Verrett were wed he would become a member of the royal family but would not have a title or represent the monarchy.

Märtha Louise, who claims to be able to speak with angels, lost her honorific “Her Royal Highness” title in 2002 when she chose to work as a clairvoyant. In 2019, the divorced mother of three agreed not to use her title as princess in her commercial endeavours.

You have no idea how much women love this satan stuff with “talking to angels.”

I hope you’re aware that anyone who claims to be able to be able to speak with or get powers from angels is talking about demons. In terms of angels, the best you can hope for is to feel their presence, and maybe, just maybe, to see one. They don’t chat and they certainly don’t tell you to do things.

GOD tells you what to do in the BIBLE. There is nothing more than that you are going to get from the supernatural world.

The couple have agreed to refrain from any association with the royal family in their social media channels, media productions and commercial activities. “This is intended to draw a dividing line that more clearly separates commercial activity from the royal house of Norway,” the palace said.

…

In the same statement, Märtha Louise said she was “aware of the importance of research-based knowledge”.

“I also believe, however, that there are components of a good life and sound physical and mental health that may not be so easy to sum up in a research report.”

She said “spirituality, intimacy with other people and animals, yoga and meditation” could be important supplements, as could “a warm hand, an acupuncture needle, a crystal”.

Well – I can’t argue with that!

Venezuelans Turn to Shamans and Spiritual Healers for Treatment Amid Shortage of Critical Medicine https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/10/08/venezuelans-turn-to-shamans-and-spiritual-healers-for-treatment-amid-shortage-of-critical-medicine/ Tue, 08 Oct 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

The white man came, the white man left. Everything is going back to the way things were.

Daily Mail:

A chronic medicine shortage in Venezuela is seeing more people turn to alternative medicine for treatment.

It is a move that could put thousands of chronically-ill people in the crisis-wracked South-American nation at risk of dying.

However, with Venezuela’s chronic medicine shortages and hyperinflation there seems to be little choice for those desperately in need of treatment.

Humanitarian aid in recent months has led to a small improvement in the availability of medical supplies – but those working in the sector say shortages continue to plague the health-care system.

The country’s pharmacists’ federation say pharmacies and hospitals have on average only about 20 per cent of the medicine stock needed.

And as a result Venezuela’s opposition parties say some 300,000 chronically ill people are in danger of dying from the shortages of medicines.

All across Venezuela, but particularly in poor areas like Petare, patients cannot hope to afford the price of medicines that due to the economic crisis, have become exceedingly rare.

And so they are looking to alternatives for treatment.

The small waiting room at the home of self-styled healer ‘Brother Guayanes’ in Caracas’ rundown Petare district fills up quickly with patients – business has never been better.

‘We go to the hospital and there’s nothing there. They don’t have medicines, or they’re too expensive, what are we to do?’ said Rosa Saez, 77, who has come to get treatment for a painful arm.

Carlos Rosales – he uses the more ceremonious ‘Brother Guayanes’ for his business – is finishing up a ‘spiritual intervention’ on a patient in what passes for his surgery.

Carlos Rosales, “Guayanese Brother”

The patient lies, eyes closed, on a cot as, in a series of swishes and clicks, the healer waves five pairs of scissors one after another over his prone body.

The healer says he performs 200 such interventions a week in a dim, candle-lit room that features two camp beds and an array of plaster statues that Rosales says represent ‘spiritual entities’.

A regular visitor to the spiritual center, Saez says she has faith in Rosales’ methods: ‘He healed my kidneys.’

Rosales’ clinic is muggy with the smell of tobacco. A crucifix suspended from a chain around his neck, he practices a seeming mixture of smoke-blowing shamanism, plant-based medicine and mainstream religion.

Posters hung near the entrance remind clients to arrive with a candle and tobacco and ‘Don’t forget that payment is in cash‘.

Much like a general practitioner, Rosales spends time consulting with his patients, examining them with a stethoscope, before offering a diagnosis. Often he prescribes potions based on plants and fruit, such as pineapple and a type of local squash known as chayote.

‘We know medicines are necessary,’ he says. ‘I’m not against medicine, but my medicine is botany.’

At her stall in a downtown Caracas market, 72-year-old Lilia Reyes says she has seen her trade in medicinal plants flourish.

‘I can’t keep up with the demand,’ she said at her stall, bathed in the aroma of camomile, one of the 150 plants she sells.

Thanks to the collapse of the white man’s medicine system, the indigenous medicine business is now thriving.

Everyone should be happy for Venezuela. The vestiges of colonialism are finally fading away and the people there are beginning to go back to their roots. They are finding themselves.

Any talk about America or any other country making any kind of intervention in Venezuela should be considered a direct attack on the identity of the Venezuelan people.

Attempting to change their current circumstances is just another form of colonialism — especially now that they’re starting to remember who they really are.

Nigerian Man Gathered Dozens of Baby Corpses for “Get Rich” Spell https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/05/23/nigerian-man-gathered-dozens-of-baby-corpses-for-get-rich-spell/ Thu, 23 May 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Diversity Macht Frei
May 23, 2019

A Nigerian man has been arrested with several dozen dried baby corpses. He was apparently planning to use them in some kind of black magic voodoo ritual he thought would help him get rich. His wife reported him to the police after her own baby had been missing for about a month. We don’t know whether he killed the babies himself or somehow acquired their corpses after they had died by other means.

Source

Incredible though it seems, “sorcery” involving human body parts is quite widespread in Nigeria. “Witch doctors” promise to cast spells that will help people get rich, become bulletproof or make them invisible, etc. Here is an “authentic” witch doctor’s spell menu.

Sometimes the witch doctors demand human body parts to use in their spells. I wrote about a similar case last year in which a Nigerian stabbed his friend and cut out his beating heart for use in an “advanced fee fraud” spell.

It has also been suggested that the murder of Pamela Mastropietro, the Italian girl killed last year by African drug dealers, may have been wholly or partly motivated by a desire to use her body parts in “magic” rituals.

Congo News reported this story on its Facebook page.

This was one of the comments.

Dried African babies, like meat, and just like that I will say “I’m proud to be African” NO!!! The westerners are right when they call us barbarians. Really I’m devastated.

It’s worth noting that Jews through the centuries have been accused of kidnapping and murdering Christian children and babies for use in “religious” rituals. In most cases, we no longer have available to us the factual evidence required to make a serious assessment of these claims. Yet they are routinely dismissed as fantastical by almost all contemporary commentators and historians. Their attitude seems to be that there is no need to make a factual assessment of such accusations because they are a priori incredible. But how is this a tenable position when we can see that such things do happen in the world even today? Are they arguing that Jews are somehow intrinsically superior to Nigerians so that what is possible for Nigerians now would not have been possible for Jews 500 years ago? And, if so, is this not exactly the kind of racial prejudice they claim led to the accusations in the first place?
