As an institution, why would the Catholic Church want to reduce it’s own power and influence by diluting Christians in Europe?

On the most basic level, this doesn’t make any sense.

No one even tries to explain why it is happening.

Germany’s Christian institutions play a pivotal role in mass immigration, through the message they preach in parishes all the way to their efforts in funding the transfer of migrants to Germany.

Now, the Catholic Diocese of Trier is calling for monthly donations to fund another ship to bring illegal immigrants to Europe via the Mediterranean Sea. Catholic faithful are being called upon to fund the operation of the Sea-Eye 5 “rescue ship.”

“Sea rescue is a Christian and humanitarian duty,” said Trier’s Vicar General Ulrich Graf von Plettenberg.

The church now wants 3,000 co-sponsors who will send €16.67 every month. The funding will help ensure the boat can pick up migrants off the North African coast. Often, there is no shipwreck involved, with migrants being picked up directly from human trafficking boats. It is far cheaper for these boats to send out a distress signal and have illegal migrants picked up directly from their boats. Most of these migrants end up in countries like Germany after arriving in Italy.

This is not the first effort to finance migrant rescue boats, with the same diocese co-financing the Sea-Eye 4 boat years ago with the help of other dioceses.

The Catholic Church is far from the only Christian organization supporting mass immigration, with the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) initiating the purchase of the original Sea-Eye 5 boat for €465,000, along with the help of other pro-migrant organizations. The EKD’s massive role in the migrant business has been covered by Remix News in the past. Notably, the EKD has begun removing pastors who are sympathetic to the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, known for its anti-immigration stance.

The Catholic Church diocese in Trier is not just for more immigration, which has led to countless stabbings, gang rapes, and young women being harassed on a nearly daily basis across Germany, but it is also openly against the “right.”

Von Plettenberg said he thought the transport of migrants was “convincing and absolutely right.” It is also using this support to “send a clear signal against the isolation policy of Europe, which is being propagated primarily by right-wing parties.”

The Church is not even supposed to be political. At least not like that.

They’re supposed to politicize Christian issues that relate to the family, such as abortion or divorce, and definitely the “right-wing” parties are going to line up with them closer on those issues. But in terms of supporting and denouncing specific parties, this has nothing to do with the duties of the Church.

The German Church is completely out of control, and what’s more, it appears that the German Church is the guiding light for the Vatican, as they are moving to use Germany as a model and then globalize their policies.

Sea rescue charities are rebelling against tough new anti-immigration measures imposed by the Italian government, arguing that they could result in thousands of deaths.

Ship captains risk fines of €50,000 and having their vessels impounded if they break the rules, which include a requirement to request a port and sail to it immediately after undertaking one rescue instead of remaining at sea to rescue people from other boats in difficulty.

Recent rescues have resulted in ships being granted ports in central and northern Italy, forcing them to make longer journeys and therefore reducing their time at sea saving lives.

Charities are required to inform those onboard that they can apply for asylum anywhere in the European Union.

Emanuele Prisco, an undersecretary at the interior ministry, described the initiative as part of “the mother of all battles”, with the goal being to “limit departures and to prevent traffickers and mafia [organisations] from earning money off the needs of many”.

But charities have said they will not accept the measures. “Sea-Eye will not follow any illegal code of conduct or any other official directive that violates international law or the laws of our flag state, which in our case is Germany,” said Annika Fischer, a board member of the German NGO. “We reject this so-called NGO code and fear it could lead to conflicts with the Italian authorities. We expect the German government to protect us.”

Geo Barents, a vessel operated by Médecins Sans Frontières, is preparing to leave Sicily for a rescue mission over the next couple of days. “The objective of the government strategy is to obstruct the NGOs’ search and rescue activities and [it] will exponentially increase the risks of thousands of people dying,” said Juan Matías Gil, the head of mission for search and rescue at Médecins Sans Frontières.

The German-based NGO Sea-Eye have announced they will not be challenging the closed port policy of Lega leader Matteo Salvini, opting instead to head for Malta to drop off migrants.

The Sea-Eye vessel Alan Kurdi announced on Friday that they would be changing course from the Italian island of Lampedusa and heading instead to the Maltese port capital of Valletta, Il Giornale reports.

Spanish migrant transport NGO Proactiva Open Arms also announced Friday that they had picked up 123 migrants and were heading to Europe — rather than closer ports in North Africa — for a “safe haven”, but did not give any specifics on which country they were headed.

The Ocean Viking flies a Norwegian flag and, according to the NGO, costs a total of 14,000 euros to keep operational per day. It can carry as many as 300 migrants at one time.

Louise Guillaumat, director of operations of SOS Méditerranée, said that the ship would not look to force its way into Italian waters as Sea0Watch captain Carola Rackete had done in June before her arrest.

“We will not force Italian territorial waters,” Guillaumat said, but vowed that they would “refuse to land people in Libya”.

At 14k euros a day, that’s over 5 million euros a year.

These NGOs have multiple ships that have been doing this for years, and somehow, they never seem to run out of (((funding))).
