Lifesaving! No guns, no corpses!

Obviously, this isn’t going to go through in the Senate.

But it’s still a pretty scary thing to have it sail through the House like this. It would be good for the midterms but… I’m not super into the whole voting thing anyway.

New York Post:

The House passed a wide-ranging gun control bill Wednesday in response to recent mass shootings in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde, Texas, that would raise the age limit for purchasing a semi-automatic rifle and prohibit the sale of ammunition magazines with a capacity of more than 15 rounds.

The legislation passed by a mostly party-line vote of 223-204. It has almost no chance of becoming law as the Senate pursues negotiations focused on improving mental health programs, bolstering school security and enhancing background checks. But the House bill does allow Democratic lawmakers a chance to frame for voters in November where they stand on policies that polls show are widely supported.

“We can’t save every life, but my God, shouldn’t we try? America we hear you and today in the House we are taking the action you are demanding,” said Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas. “Take note of who is with you and who is not.”

The push comes after a House committee heard wrenching testimony from recent shooting victims and family members, including from 11-year-old girl Miah Cerrillo, who covered herself with a dead classmate’s blood to avoid being shot at the Uvalde elementary school.

The seemingly never-ending cycle of mass shootings in the United States has rarely stirred Congress to act. But the shooting of 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde has revived efforts in a way that has lawmakers from both parties talking about the need to respond.

“It’s sickening, it’s sickening that our children are forced to live in this constant fear,” said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Pelosi said the House vote would “make history by making progress.” But it’s unclear where the House measure will go after Wednesday’s vote, given that Republicans were adamant in their opposition.

“The answer is not to destroy the Second Amendment, but that is exactly where the Democrats want to go,” said Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.

The work to find common ground is mostly taking place in the Senate, where support from 10 Republicans will be needed to get a bill signed into law. Nearly a dozen Democratic and Republican senators met privately for an hour Wednesday in hopes of reaching a framework for compromise legislation by week’s end. Participants said more conversations were needed about a plan that is expected to propose modest steps.

In the Senate, Ted Cruz, who is disgusting, fat, and ugly, is trying to push for the expansion of NICS, which is also clearly a violation of “shall not infringe.” But the entire GOP strategy with everything is “let’s try to do something that is just a little bit less bad than what the Democrats are trying to do.”

I’m going to again shill this thing I wrote a couple weeks ago after the Uvalde shooting: Just Answer the Question, Ted: Why Do These Mass Shootings Only Happen in America?

If the GOP cared about protecting the Second Amendment, they would respond to these mass shootings with the proper response: “this is a country of 350 million people, and sometimes bad things happen.”

Mass shootings are not a crisis. Fentanyl is a crisis. Mass shootings are extremely rare events that just happen to be a lot sexier than hundreds of thousands of people dying of fentanyl, or hundreds of millions of people’s lives being destroyed by obesity, divorce, abortion, and all of these other social diseases that no one even bothers to talk about – or, in recent years, actively promote.

Obviously, death is bad, but the likelihood of you or a loved one being the victim of some MK Ultra lunatic in a grocery store or a school is effectively zero. Everyone knows someone who died from the vax, everyone knows someone who died from fentanyl, everyone knows a lot of people who have had their lives destroyed by divorce.

And how about that inflation, huh? How’s that going for the average American?

That should be the GOP response: to go on the offensive, call out the Democrats for using these mass shootings as a distraction from real problems that statistically have a real chance of affecting the lives of the average person.

They should also go on the attack against the feds and call for a comprehensive inquiry into what traits are shared by the various shooters. Ideally, someone would just go out on the Senate floor and start talking about CIA mind control experiments and the fact that these weird shootings fit so neatly into the Democrat agenda. If the Democrats were put in a position where they had to defend blocking an investigation into the cause of mass shootings, that would be a massive win.

They need to stop playing these stupid games. Ted Cruz needs to resign. This man is posing as the #1 anti-gun control activist while calling for gun control. NICS is gun control.

The Constitution doesn’t stutter: any single person in the United States has an inalienable right to walk into any gun store in any city or town in America and buy any gun they want with cash and not a single question asked. Period. Furthermore: manufacturers should not be compelled to put serial numbers on any part of a gun, and if the manufacturer decides for whatever reason that they want to do that, any citizen should have a right to file it off.

On the issue of gun control, just as with every other issue involving our rights, the GOP are negotiating with terrorists and they are losing, badly.

Alyssa’s Law: NY to Consider Silent Panic Alarms in School Because of Evil Guns https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/06/06/alyssas-law-ny-to-consider-silent-panic-alarms-in-school-because-of-evil-guns/ Mon, 06 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Alyssa Alhadeff (left) was 14 and already well past the wall.

Panic buttons, eh?

That will get them.

Unless of course the cops respond to the panic button and then stand outside the school for an hour doing nothing. In which case, the cellphones work well enough already.

New York Post:

Albany pols passed a law Saturday requiring school districts statewide to seriously consider installing silent panic alarms to alert law-enforcement authorities during emergencies.

The state Assembly approved “Alyssa’s Law,” named after 14-year-old Alyssa Alhadeff, who was shot and killed in 2018 during the Parkland, Florida school massacre.

“Schools should be a safe place for our kids to learn and grow,” said Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie in a statement announcing the bill’s passage.

Carl Heastie

Alyssa’s Law will force each school district’s safety teams to consider installing panic alarm systems and other direct communication technologies as part of their mandatory regular reviews of safety plans.

The measure had previously passed in the state Senate and now heads to the governor’s desk to be signed into law.

Fabien Levy, a spokesman for Mayor Eric Adams, said the city currently doesn’t believe it needs panic buttons in Big Apple schools but will review the measure.

“Our children’s safety is our top priority, which is why all our public schools have School Safety Agents assigned to them,” Levy said in an email.

…

Some schools in New York already use panic buttons.

They’re not ever going to talk about what is causing these shootings.

They will not order a study on it.

Instead, they just keep coming up with these silly, nonsense rules – because they don’t actually care if kids get shot. This is about taking guns away from normal people so the government can become even more brutal.

Radio Host Fired for Joking About Hoping for a School Shooting to Get the Impeachment Out of the Media https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/12/20/radio-host-fired-for-joking-about-hoping-for-a-school-shooting-to-get-the-impeachment-out-of-the-media/ Fri, 20 Dec 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

Everyone is very bored of this impeachment.

So you try to inject a little bit of humor, and the Joke Police are kicking in your door.

Did you know you can’t joke about school shootings – even in a general sense?

We are living in a Joke Police State.

Pretty soon they’re going to start pushing for a Constitutional Amendment to ban jokes of all types.

New York Times:

The conservative married couple’s afternoon talk show on KNUS in Denver had been going for a half-hour on Tuesday when the husband made a remark that alarmed his wife, stunned their listeners — and soon cost them their jobs.

“All right, Chuck Bonniwell, Julie Hayden here, a little after 1:30, talking about the never-ending impeachment of Donald Trump,” Mr. Bonniwell said on the air. “Yeah, you wish for a nice school shooting to interrupt the monopoly—”

Ms. Hayden quickly interjected.

“No, no, not even,” she said, according to a recording of the show that was later posted by 9 News, a local television station. “Don’t even say that. No, don’t even say that. Don’t call us. Chuck didn’t say that.”

Mr. Bonniwell then tried to soften his remark by adding, “In which no one would be hurt,” and the couple turned to the phone lines.

But the damage was done. The comment quickly attracted a storm of outrage in Denver, and on Wednesday, the radio station canceled the couple’s show, which ran from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. A statement released by KNUS cited “the history of school violence that has plagued our community.”

That history includes the death of one student and the wounding of eight more in a shooting this year at the STEM School Highlands Ranch in a Denver suburb. And it reaches back to the still painful memory of the massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo., 20 years ago, when two students at the school killed 12 other students and a teacher.

Mr. Bonniwell said in a phone interview on Thursday that he regretted his remark.

“We’ve been in radio for a long time,” he said. “You’re going to say lots of things that are controversial. You don’t expect some things to be the end of your show. You can’t do 15 hours of trying to be provocative and fun, and not say something that you regret.”

“And so you get canceled,” he continued. “And you always know that’s a possibility. That’s just the way the business works. We enjoyed the program and we enjoyed the listeners. There’s no hard feelings.”

In a statement on the couple’s Facebook page, they wrote that “as journalists and radio hosts, we have covered every school shooting and tragedy since Columbine,” including the grief of victims and their families.

“We have a child in elementary school who has to practice active-shooter lockdown drills and, like all parents, we worry about the safety and well-being of our child and his classmates,” they wrote, adding, “Violence causes too much hurt for victims and their families and we truly did not intend to add to that pain.”

And this is the very worst part of all:

On Thursday, to replace the canceled “Chuck and Julie Show,” KNUS began airing a show hosted by Sebastian Gorka, a hard-line conservative who was briefly an adviser to Mr. Trump before being forced out in August 2017.

The Orcas are moving in.

Basically, you just can’t hardly say anything anymore.

The joke is “this is so boring that I’d rather have something horrible happen.” It isn’t an endorsement of school shootings.

Being provocative is a fundamental aspect of humor. Which is why basically, no one is funny anymore who isn’t far-right. I mean you watch late night talk shows or Saturday Night Live, and it unironically does not contain any laughs at all.

And when was the last time Hollywood released a funny movie? That was funny on purpose?

Everything is off limits, and they’ll destroy you if you go outside of the limits. I can understand forcing this guy to apologize – I guess – but firing both him and his wife for a joke that isn’t even racist is probably new.

Do you remember when Don Imus got fired for saying “nappy-ass hoes” in reference to female basketball players? That was all the way back in 2007. They said it was a “racial slur,” but which part of “nappy-ass hoes” is a slur or racial?

Anyway, point being: this is always where it starts, with this evil racist stuff, then before you know it, your life is destroyed because you joked about a school shooting.

And it should be mentioned: there is a big difference between making a reference to a specific tragedy and simply talking about a tragedy in a general sense. If he would have said “you wish for another Sandy Hook,” that would have been very different, because it would have been specific people who (allegedly) died. But saying you can’t joke about school shootings in an absolutely general sense is a horse of a different color.

But the local news (in the clip at the top of the page) went to the father of someone who died in a school shooting and interviewed him!

You want to talk about insensitive – imagine calling up a guy whose son died in a school shooting and saying “so did you hear a guy on a radio show made a joke about school shootings like the one that your son died in? What do you think about that?”

John Castillo’s son Kendrick was killed in the STEM shooting in Denver earlier this year. And he’s like a dumb guy. Or maybe he was just stressed because the news is coming at him with this. But he suggested that it should be illegal to make that joke, saying “you know it goes back to, you know, it’s criminal to yell fire in a building, to invoke that.”

The shooting was done by two homosexuals, one of which was a female-to-male tranny who was on testosterone (which I assume contributed, lol).

Why doesn’t he call for injecting young girls with testosterone to be banned? Or for homosexuality to be banned?

Instead he wants to ban jokes?

Are you just never allowed to joke about anything where a person dies?

What about car crashes? Or hurricanes?

What if he had said “you wish for a hurricane to break the monopoly”?

Thousands of people a year die from hurricanes and typhoons. How many people a year die from school shootings on average? Ten?

Also, yes, he did say “break the monopoly,” obviously meaning to say “break the monotony.” I don’t know why the New York Times didn’t put a “[sic]” in there.

But that made me listen to the clip, and look up the guy’s picture – and he is old as hell.

None of the articles say his age, but he’s gotta be over 70.

It makes you wonder if he wasn’t fired for saying the impeachment was boring, rather than the school shooting joke. I think it’s now considered very politically incorrect to not be interested in this stupid hoax.

But the station is pro-Trump.

Last month, they fired a Jew while he was on air for attacking Trump.

New York Times, November 17, 2019:

Craig Silverman had clearly worn out his welcome on KNUS, a conservative talk-radio station in Denver. Midway through his three-hour show on Saturday, after a segment criticizing President Trump, the station suddenly cut away to a news report, and the station’s operations manager walked into the studio and told Mr. Silverman, “You’re done.”

But it was less clear which had bothered his employers more — the negative views of Mr. Trump that he voiced on the air, or the fact that he had also gone on competing stations’ programs to express them.

Like many talk-show hosts, Mr. Silverman, a lawyer and former chief deputy district attorney, likes to debate and push boundaries. His constant on-air arguments with a co-host, Dan Caplis, helped make the duo’s former show on another Denver station one of the most popular in the city.

But Mr. Silverman said in an interview on Sunday that he sees himself as an independent analyst, not a partisan conservative — and that may have made him increasingly unwelcome at KNUS. Mr. Silverman said the station’s owner, the Salem Media Group, which focuses on conservative and Christian programming, is “100 percent behind Donald Trump.”

Yeah maybe don’t hire people named “Mr. Silverman” for your Christian programming, guys.

Hire guys that make school shooting jokes.

And don’t fire them.

Else you’ll end up with a case of the Orcas, and ain’t nobody wants that.

AI-Powered Crime Prediction Cameras in Schools Now a Tool Against Mass Shootings https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/09/01/ai-powered-crime-prediction-cameras-in-schools-now-a-tool-against-mass-shootings/ Sun, 01 Sep 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

Paul Hildreth

“Innocent until proven guilty” is morphing into “innocent until looking guilty.”

What makes someone look guilty? That’s up to the overlords to decide, of course.

AP:

Paul Hildreth peered at a display of dozens of images from security cameras surveying his Atlanta school district and settled on one showing a woman in a bright yellow shirt walking a hallway.

A mouse click instructed the artificial intelligence-equipped system to find other images of the woman, and it immediately stitched them into a video narrative of where she was currently, where she had been and where she was going.

There was no threat, but Hildreth’s demonstration showed what’s possible with AI-powered cameras. If a gunman were in one of his schools, the cameras could quickly identify the shooter’s location and movements, allowing police to end the threat as soon as possible, said Hildreth, emergency operations coordinator for the Fulton County School District.

AI is transforming surveillance cameras from passive sentries into active observers that can identify people, suspicious behavior and guns, amassing large amounts of data that help them learn over time to recognize mannerisms, gait and dress. If the cameras have a previously captured image of someone who is banned from a building, the system can immediately alert officials if the person returns.

At a time when the threat of a mass shooting is ever-present, schools are among the most enthusiastic adopters of the technology, known as real-time video analytics or intelligent video, even as civil liberties groups warn about a threat to privacy. Police, retailers, stadiums and Fortune 500 companies are also using intelligent video.

“What we’re really looking for are those things that help us to identify things either before they occur or maybe right as they occur so that we can react a little faster,” Hildreth said.

A year after an expelled student killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Broward County installed cameras from Canada-based Avigilon throughout the district in February. Hildreth’s Atlanta district will spend $16.5 million to put the cameras in its roughly 100 buildings in coming years.

In Greeley, Colorado, the school district has used Avigilon cameras for about five years, and the technology has advanced rapidly, said John Tait, security manager for Weld County School District 6.

Upcoming upgrades include the ability to identify guns and read people’s expressions, a capability not currently part of Avigilon’s systems.

“It’s almost kind of scary,” Tait said. “It will look at the expressions on people’s faces and their mannerisms and be able to tell if they look violent.”

Almost kind of scary?

“Yeh dat white boi be a Nazi. Imma press dis button now.”

First it will be “to look at their faces to tell if they look violent” and soon after it will be “to look at their faces and tell if they’re non-complying uncooperative goyim.”

Before anyone realizes it, there’ll be agents going after what these AIs deem “bad goyim.”

It’s unknown how many schools have AI-equipped cameras because it’s not being tracked. But Michael Dorn, executive director of Safe Havens International , a nonprofit that advises schools on security, said “quite a few” use Avigilon and Sweden-based Axis Communications equipment “and the feedback has been very good.”

…

Schools are the largest market for video surveillance systems in the U.S., estimated at $450 million in 2018, according to London-based IHS Markit, a data and information services company. The overall market for real-time video analytics was estimated at $3.2 billion worldwide in 2018 — and it’s anticipated to grow to more than $9 billion by 2023, according to one estimate .

AI cameras have already been tested by some companies to evaluate consumers’ facial expressions to determine if they’re having a pleasant or unpleasant shopping experience and improve customer service, according to the Center for Democracy and Technology, a Washington nonprofit that advocates for privacy protections. Policy counsel Joseph Jerome said companies may someday use the cameras to estimate someone’s age, which might be useful for liquor stores, or facial-expression analysis to aid in job interviews .

You’re not supposed to discriminate based on skin color or race in job interviews, but discrimination based on facial expressions is okay.

“Your face looks Nazi and white supremacist, so no job for you.”

“People haven’t really caught up to how broad and deep the technology can now go,” said Jay Stanley, a senior policy analyst at the American Civil Liberties Union who published a research paper in June about how the cameras are being used. “When I explain it, people are pretty amazed and spooked.”

…

Stanley, with the ACLU, said there’s reason to be skeptical about their capabilities because AI is still “pretty unreliable at recognizing the complexities of human life.”

Facial recognition is not infallible, and a study last year from Wake Forest University found that some facial-recognition software interprets black faces as appearing angrier than white faces.

But that actually means that the facial recognition is working as intended.

Blacks really are angrier than whites, at least in regards to the violence-inducing type of anger. They commit the most violent crimes, so any AI interpreting their faces as angrier than whites’ is definitely onto something.

Of course, that must be corrected because the goal isn’t really to be impartial, prevent crimes and save lives. As long as the Jews are in charge, the goal is white genocide and new tools and technologies will be used to that end.

Great New Idea to Prevent School Shootings: Give Students Tiny Baseball Bats https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/04/12/great-new-idea-to-prevent-school-shootings-give-students-tiny-baseball-bats/ Thu, 12 Apr 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

The answer to gun violence is obviously bat violence.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed after reading a headline than with this story. I read a school was going to give bats to students in order to fight off school shooters, and I was like “wow, that’s pretty badass.”

Bats are vicious little bastards. They’d make short work of a shooter, for sure.

Then I read closer and realized they were discussing wooden baseball bats.

That was a pretty big blow.

But then I was like, “okay, so I guess wooden bats are still pretty cool, I guess. I mean, Negan could really ruin someone’s day with that thing…”

It’s not best bat, but still legit bat.

Spoiler warning: it only gets worse from here, fam.

ABC News:

President Donald Trump has suggested arming teachers with guns to protect schools in the wake of a spate of deadly shootings.

Others have suggested hardening campuses with bulletproof glass, metal detectors and extra security.

But one Pennsylvania superintendent is taking a slightly different tack — putting a mini-baseball bat in each classroom to give students and teachers a “last resort” way to fight in the event that they were confronted with danger.

Not just any bat – this is a “tactical bat.” It’s painted black. Sigh.

What the hell is this piece of crap?

How in God’s name are you going to wreck someone’s shit with that thing?

It doesn’t even have barbed wires on it.

Why not give them inflatable kiddie bats, while we’re at it?

It would do about the same amount of damage.

Superintendent William Hall, of the Millcreek School District, in Erie, admits some parents have had negative reactions to the idea — it struck at least one as a “joke” — but to him, “it’s more about the educational piece and that awareness — teaching our kids to be better prepared for these situations.“

You know why it struck people as a joke, Bill? Because it is.

This is what a real bat looks like:

The district recently revised its policies for what to do during a “hard lockdown,” Hall told ABC News today, surveyed the community about suggestions to make schools safer.

One survey response mentioned bats in case teachers or students need to fight back, Hall said.

The 18-inch wooden bats — a tool to be used as a “last resort” — were distributed on April 2 to classrooms and school offices where they are expected to be locked up during the day, Hall said.

This is all so retarded. There’s probably things lying around the average classroom that would make a better weapon than a “18 inch baseball bat.” Hell, just throwing a chair would probably do more damage.

If schools don’t want guns in the classrooms, they can just have crossbows or something.

You only got one shot, kids, so make it count.

But giving students cartoon-sized bats and pretending like they’re “prepared for the worst” is a cruel joke.

Ultimately, we need to make our country into a place where there aren’t these non-stop shootings going on. But as long as the Jews are setting our policies, the only safety measure that has any chance of being effective is to have armed people everywhere in these schools – including the students.
