On Wednesday, Elon Musk responded to claims of being a fraud gamer. He responded on a stream, and then made a joke about it. It was not the kind of joke I advised him to make, where he would admit he is not building his own Path of Exile 2 account and that it was all a troll, but rather he made jokes mocking people who don’t believe it’s his account.

This is the clip. (I can’t find where Elon reposted it because he tweets so fucking much you can’t find anything on his timeline. It’s also possible he deleted it, I don’t know.)

But that was only the precursor to the total meltdown.

After saying this on stream and posting it on Twitter and getting a very negative response, he started to go after Asmongold, who is likely the most-viewed person calling out the fraud. He leaked DMs with Asmongold (which is a violation of his own Twitter ToS), and then removed Asmongold’s check and his pro-gamer icon.


He then restored both, then removed the pro-gamer icon.

This is total mania. The man is completely losing his shit.

It was already known that he was willing to remove checks from people who criticized him, thereby limiting their reach by something like 90%. He did this to Laura Loomer and others who criticized his stated plan to replace American people with superior Indians. That was unhinged enough, as it shows that his claims of being a supporter of free speech are just a complete lie, and that he actually bought Twitter so he could control speech and push his own agenda. He only claimed to support “free speech” in order to gain popular support.

Taking away someone’s check for calling him out for cheating at video games in the most obvious way imaginable, however, takes this to a whole other level, and it is becoming clear that I was 100% on point when I said that this man is not simply a fraud, and a borderline retard, but also struggling with severe mental illness and losing touch with reality.

What makes this all much worse is that the claim he made about the DMs that he leaked does not make any sense.

He refers to Asmongold’s “editors” as if they are newspaper editor’s that you have to run things by before you publish. In fact, Asmongold was obviously referring to the people who edit his videos for YouTube uploads. If that wasn’t obvious, in the actual screenshot Elon posts, you can see Asmongold explaining what he means by “editors.”

For those who don’t know: Asmongold streams on Twitch, where all of his content is originally recorded. As a raw stream is kind of messy, and is too long, he hires people to edit the content down for YouTube uploads. Every single Twitch streamer does this for their YouTube uploads. Video editing is time intensive, and it is also a separate skill set than streaming video games and commentary, so of course the streamers themselves do not stream for 12 hours a day and then log off and start editing their content for YouTube – especially not if they are making millions a year like Asmongold is.

To mistake this for meaning he has people who oversee his content is very confusing. Given that Elon has it explained to him in clear language in the screenshot, it seems to me that in order to get this confused, he would have to be suffering from mental illness, something similar to schizophrenia. It represents a breakdown of his ability to understand language and reality itself. Although I do believe Elon Musk is absurdly stupid – like, he has a sub-100 IQ – I don’t think simply being stupid explains his inability to understand this concept.

In Quin’s most recent response to Elon, he actually said that he is starting to feel bad making fun of Elon because he seems to be having a mental crisis.

After posting the DMs and taking Asmongold’s check (before giving it back), he accused Asmongold of being bad at video games. Asmongold responded by joking around with the ultra-serious Musk.

A federal rule banning fake online reviews is now in effect.

The Federal Trade Commission issued the rule in August banning the sale or purchase of online reviews. The rule, which went into effect Monday, allows the agency to seek civil penalties against those who knowingly violate it.

“Fake reviews not only waste people’s time and money, but also pollute the marketplace and divert business away from honest competitors,” FTC Chair Lina Khan said about the rule in August. She added that the rule will “protect Americans from getting cheated, put businesses that unlawfully game the system on notice, and promote markets that are fair, honest, and competitive.”

Specifically, the rule bans reviews and testimonials attributed to people who don’t exist or are generated by artificial intelligence, people who don’t have experience with the business or product/services, or misrepresent their experience.

How does anyone know what is what? Isn’t it the decision of the platform, whether they take action against fake reviews?

I’m not saying that fake reviews are good, but most of them are coming from this bitch’s homeland.

Aside from sanctioning India for polluting American infrastructure, I don’t even know how you would stop it. More importantly, this is an infringement against the freedom of speech.

How far from a “fake review” is “fake news”? You can’t ban lying.

Regulations against “fake” speech are a clear attack on speech generally.

Furthermore: doesn’t this violate SCOTUS ruling Garland v. Cargill, which found that the ATF did not have a right to ban bump stocks because by doing so, they were creating a new law?

It was at least theorized by legal scholars that the ATF ruling meant that none of these three letter agencies could create new laws. I don’t know what this review ban is other than a new law.

People Should Have Some Level of Personal Responsibility

Frankly, Khan’s cousins doing the scams on the phones is a much bigger problem than them doing fake ads (although I understand that issue would not fall to the FTC).

The spam/scam calls that Indians make to the phones of every American on a daily basis have completely shut down the telephone system in this country. It used to be that your phone would ring, and even if you didn’t recognize the number, you assumed it was a normal person calling you. Now, it is effectively impossible to use the telephone system, because of all of these subcontinental scam artists sabotaging the phone system.

Whether or not fake reviews are a form of fraud is debatable, but they can’t be legally fraud. Or, apparently they can be, but they shouldn’t be. Fake reviews are hosted by websites, voluntarily. Amazon specifically seems to have a policy of encouraging fake reviews, as they are aware that these fake reviews cause people to buy products for sale on Amazon. Maybe you could argue that Amazon tacitly approving of fake reviews is a form of fraudulent advertisement, but this is not what Khan is arguing.

Taken to its logical conclusion, this law would ban Ronaldo from advertising for KFC.

When Ronaldo or any other fit celebrity goes on TV and claims they eat unhealthy food, they’re giving a false testimony in support of a product for money.

Of course, the government is not going to go after major corporations for false advertisement. This anti-fake review law invented by Lina Khan is basically “the anti-drop-shipper law.” Much more likely, this becomes “we have laws against fake review comments, we need laws against fake review comments.”

People need to have some form of personal responsibility. No one is imposed on by fake reviews, and only a moron would ever believe random online reviews in the first place, unless it is something like the Steam store, where you know that every person reviewing actually bought the game. A San Francisco Bay Area school district has reportedly shelled out $315,000 on an energy and chakra clearer, sparking backlash from parents and teachers who are frustrated that the money isn’t being spent in classrooms.

A parent group recently discovered Mountain View Whisman School District has been paying “Master Energy Healer & Intuitive Guide” Alycia Diggs-Chavis to conduct 160 guided meditation sessions for district leadership officials, the SF Chronicle reported.

Generation Z is going to therapy far more than any other age cohort, a new study has found.

Among American Gen Z adults, over a quarter (27%) reported having gone to therapy in their teenage years, including 31% of Gen Z women, a survey from the American Enterprise Institute found. Only 4% of boomers and 10% of Generation X attended therapy as teens, along with 20% of millennials.

The survey delved into the formative experiences of Gen Z, who were less likely than previous generations of teens to have part-time jobs, attend religious services, have a boyfriend or girlfriend, or drink or smoke, according to the survey. They were, however, much more likely to have experienced frequent loneliness.

These findings support claims of a youth mental health crisis spreading across the West, but it’s less apparent whether therapy is actually helping. Therapy methods long touted as universal interventions have been found to not only not help teens, but to actually exacerbate their problems and worsen their relationships with their parents, according to a recent report from the Atlantic analysing several studies on the subject.

In one study from Australia, researchers taught mental health improvement techniques that are commonly used in therapy to teenagers, expecting to see an improvement in psychological and social outcomes. Instead, the treatment group’s anxiety, depression and quality of life all declined compared to the control group, and their relationships to their parents worsened.

The uninspiring results of such studies seems to be having no impact on the popularity of mental health services. Behavioural therapy is a growth industry, and it’s expected to double over the coming decade as mental health disorders become more common and awareness of corresponding treatments continues to grow. Patients are now seeking out therapy through telehealth services, and a number of online companies have popped up to cater this market. One example is Hers and Hims, which offer mental health services including drug prescriptions and advertise their services relentlessly on digital streaming platforms.

“It’s not surprising that so many Gen Z’ers have received therapy, considering that 20% of US teens in 2021 suffered from major depression in the last year, twice as many as in 2011,” Jean Twenge, author of Generations, told UnHerd. “In addition, suicide rates have doubled, and more than twice as many are hospitalised for self-harm. These trends are similar across the Anglosphere. If anything, the statistics suggest more should get therapy.”

“Therapy is needed for some of our teens,” Brad Wilcox, director of the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia, told UnHerd. “But the research also tells us that many young adults would be protected from anxiety and depression by spending more time outdoors, exercising, socialising, and doing activities with their families rather than spending time on a screen.”

The US House of Representatives approved a bill to raise the debt ceiling on Wednesday, just days before the deadline to avoid a national default.

A total of 149 Republicans and 165 Democrats voted for the legislation, while 71 Republicans and 46 Democrats voted against it.

The vote comes after Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned on Friday that the government could run out of money to pay its bills by June 5. The bill now moves to the Senate, whose members have to approve it by Monday.

The bill suspends the debt limit through January 1, 2025, and caps non-military spending, among other measures.

President Joe Biden thanked House members shortly after the vote for taking “a critical step forward to prevent a first-ever default and protect our country’s hard-earned and historic economic recovery.” Biden described the deal he struck with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy last Saturday as “a bipartisan compromise,” in which “neither side got everything it wanted.”

Well, McCarthy didn’t get anything that he supposedly wanted. No spending is being cut.

Princess Märtha Louise of Norway has relinquished her royal duties to focus on her alternative medicine business with her fiance, a self-proclaimed shaman, the palace has said.

The 51-year-old princess’s relationship with Durek Verrett, a Hollywood spiritual guru, caused waves in Norway after the “sixth-generation shaman” suggested in his book Spirit Hacking that cancer was a choice.

He also sells a medallion on his website labelled a “Spirit Optimizer”, which he claims helped him overcome Covid-19.

A poll in September found 17% of Norwegians now have a lower opinion of the generally popular royal family, nearly all citing the princess and the shaman as the reason.

“The princess … is relinquishing the role as royal patron … and will not be representing the royal house at the present time,” the palace said in a statement.

However, “in accordance with the king’s wishes, the princess will keep her title”.

The palace said that once the princess and Verrett were wed he would become a member of the royal family but would not have a title or represent the monarchy.

Märtha Louise, who claims to be able to speak with angels, lost her honorific “Her Royal Highness” title in 2002 when she chose to work as a clairvoyant. In 2019, the divorced mother of three agreed not to use her title as princess in her commercial endeavours.

A 74-year-old Chicago area woman was scammed out of $230,000 this year after a mysterious caller accused her of criminal activity, according to a local report.

Henriette Schmuhl said she was “so afraid” when she received the phone call in May from a man claiming to be from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, she told WBBM-TV.

Schmuhl said the man, who identified himself as “Andrew Hall” and even gave her a badge and warrant case number, told her that she was accused of drug trafficking and money laundering – crimes she never committed.

He told her that if she went to the police she’d be arrested, the report said.

The fake federal official said Schmuhl was also a victim of identity theft and needed a new social security number. But before changing her number, he demanded Schmuhl make large withdrawals of cash from her savings account to “protect” herself, the 74-year-old said.

Schmuhl said she kept the phone call a secret from her family and used different Bitcoin machines to convert her life savings into digital currency to try to clear her name.

“Andrew Hall” then persuaded Schmuhl to max out her credit cards, buying gift cards worth $17,000, when she ran out of cash to convert to Bitcoin, she told the station.

Schmuhl said she believed the man was her friend and trying to help her – until one day he stopped answering her calls.

Like bitch, did you actually commit a crime or what?

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors used charity funds to pay her brother and child’s father eye-watering sums of cash for various services, according to tax documents filed with the IRS.

The co-founder’s brother, Paul Cullors, saw a cool sum of $840,000 hit his bank account for allegedly providing security services to the nonprofit organization, tax documents seen by The Post show.

Meanwhile, the organization paid a company owned by Damon Turner, with whom Cullors shares a child, almost $970,000 to help “produce live events” as well as other “creative services.”

On top of the controversy, BLM wrapped up its fiscal year — which runs from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021 — with a stunning $42 million in net assets.

The foundation had an operating budget of about $4 million, according to a board member.

More than $37 million was spent by the foundation on grants, real estate, and charter on private flights, according to the tax filings.

What’s more, $32 million was invested in stocks, making up nearly a third of the $90 million the organization received in donations.

The investment is expected to become an endowment in a bid to ensure the foundation’s work continues in the future, organizers say.

The 63-page Form 990 document, an annual filing required for nonprofit organizations to maintain their tax-exempt status, shows Cullors reimbursed the organization $73,523 for a charter flight.

BLM insists she took the flight in 2021 out of concern for the COVID-19 pandemic and the health risks that come with it.

Cullors already found herself in hot water after receiving a cool $120,000 payment for undisclosed “consulting fees” by BLM.

After back-to-back controversies, Cullors last year resigned as executive director of the organization amid criticism over her lavish lifestyle.

The tax filing’s release closely follows the controversy over the purchase of a $6 million property in Los Angeles.

BLM faced a torrent of backlash last month when it publicly emerged that the organization purchased a swanky Southern California home using donated cash.

Cullors at the time said she was weeks removed from being in “survival mode” after The Post’s exclusive reporting revealed her purchase of four high-end US homes for $3.2 million.

During that time, she said she hosted a Joe Biden inauguration party for about 15 people, including BLM chapter members and other key allies of the organization.

Cullors initially said the property was purchased by BLM to serve as a meeting venue and campus. She also issued a statement denying suggestions she had lived at the property — or taken advantage of it for personal gain.

Cullors said she also threw a private birthday party for her son at the property in March 2021 — and intended to pay a rental fee to BLM.

The recent tax filing shows she paid the foundation an additional $390 over her uses of the 6,500-square-foot Studio City property for two private events.

Tax records show after spending more than $37 million on grants, real estate, consultants and other undisclosed expenses, the BLM organization is still worth tens of millions of dollars.

A red flag that seemingly emerged from the tax records shows that Cullors was the foundation board’s sole voting director and held no board meetings.

“This 990 reveals that (the BLM foundation) is the largest black abolitionist nonprofit organization that has ever existed in the nation’s history. What we’re doing has never been done before,” said Shalomyah Bowers, who serves as the foundation’s board secretary.

“We needed to get dollars out to grassroots organizations doing the work of abolition, doing the work that would shift the moral tide of this world towards one that does not have or believe in police, prisons, jails or violence,” he added.

Tax records show BLM paid Bowers over $2 million for providing the organization with operational support, such as staffing and fundraising.

The foundation vowed to launch a “transparency and accountability center” on its website to make its financial documents available for public inspection.

Bowers — who was named as one of three members of BLM’s board of directors in May — serves alongside board chair Cicley Gay, a communications professional, and ‘DZhane Parker, a member of BLM’s Los Angeles chapter.

“We are decolonizing philanthropy,” Gay said. “We, as a board, are charged with disrupting traditional standards of what grant-making in philanthropy looks like. It means investing in black communities, trusting them with their dollars.”

“Decolonizing philanthropy” sounds very much like “making philanthropy much more corrupt than it already was.”

So I’m glad to know it isn’t any more complicated than that.
