This treadmill is a complete death machine!

Safety regulators warned that everyone should stop using this immediately after a child was killed and many others injured.

ABC News:

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said children and at least one pet were pulled, pinned and entrapped under the rear roller of the Tread+ treadmill, leading to fractures, scrapes and the death of one child.

The safety commission said in a news release and in emails that it knows of 39 “incidents” with the treadmill, involving “multiple” or “dozens” of children, but it did not specify a number of children. It said the majority of the incidents resulted in injuries, including the one death.

The machine costs more than $4,000!

I guess you get what you pay for – if you’re paying to murder your children! (Though a pit bull would have been cheaper)

If you’re paying to get in shape, well, then you should have bought a jump rope and some kettle bells, because jogging is a total hoax.

It’s crazy that after all these years, people are still jogging.

Go for a sprint, okay fine. That’s good for heart health. But jogging? This is just destroying your joints. A treadmill is safer than concrete, I guess, but it’s still ridiculous.

The Most Dangerous Countries in 2020 are African, The Safest are European https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/11/18/the-most-dangerous-countries-in-2020-are-african-the-safest-are-european/ Mon, 18 Nov 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

Importing refugees from the world’s worst places doesn’t really solve the problem because people in those ugly places continue to suffer.

The solution is to export the magic soil of white countries to the rest of the world.

We could even sprinkle the magic dust using planes.

Daily Mail:

Libya and Somalia are the most dangerous places on earth for 2020, according to a new map designed for travellers that alerts them to risks abroad.

The interactive ‘Travel Risk Map’ reveals the countries where people are most likely to have trouble when it comes to road safety, security and medical matters.

The safest places have been labelled as Finland, Norway and Iceland – all Nordic countries.

The map has been launched by international medical and security specialists International SOS.

Libya and Somalia both rank lowly in each of the three categories along with Afghanistan and Venezuela, meaning they are the most dangerous.

In contrast, Norway, Finland and Iceland are all labelled as having a low risk of medical problems, security and road safety issues, meaning they are the safest – along with the likes of Sweden and Greenland.

When it comes to health, countries with the highest risk of contracting medical issues or disease include African nations Niger, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Sudan, Eritrea and the Central African Republic.

Yemen is also was also labelled a high risk country when it came to health along with Syria and North Korea

At the opposite end of the ranking, places with a low risk of disease are most of those in Europe, Canada, the US, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea and Japan.

For security, researchers evaluated the threat posed to travellers by political violence (including terrorism and insurgency), social unrest and violent and petty crime.

Countries with an extreme risk to travellers’ safety include Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Somalia, Libya and parts of Nigeria.

Places, where security risks are deemed insignificant, are Norway, Greenland, Finland, Iceland, Switzerland and Slovenia.

When it comes to road safety, the countries besides those in Africa that pose the greatest risk include Venezuela, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Most of Europe is ranked as having a low risk, along with Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

This is obviously because white people did evil stuff to people of color once in the past and the consequences of that evil keep reverberating through time. You know, colonialism and stuff. Thanks to white people’s evil, white people are now enjoying themselves while the people of color of the world continue to suffer.

I mean, just look at Egypt. Before blacks got in contact with whites, they had pyramids and shit. They were kings and shit. They were Cleopatra and stuff.

They were Romans and shit, they were British and shit.

They even were Achilles and shit.

The moment white people appeared though… all of that changed and people of color turned into what you can see today.

Because whites are evil.

Okay?

Cops Won’t Protect You https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/02/24/cops-wont-protect-you/ Sat, 24 Feb 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

If you expect the police to protect you, you’re in for a bad time.

On one hand, we have Jews who advocate gun control because they hate the native populations of the countries they reside in, and don’t want ordinary people to be able to resist them.

But for your average liberal, their hate of guns stems more from their cowardice and childish desire to be protected from the harsh nature of life. They don’t want to think about the possibility of violence, and guns remind them of that.

Liberals want the “state” to protect them.

The problem, of course, is that the “state” has neither the ability nor the inclination to save anybody from violence.

BBC:

An armed officer assigned to the Florida school where a gunman killed 17 people last week stood outside the building during the shooting and did not intervene, the local sheriff says.

This is absolutely not surprising.

In fact, it probably represents the rule, rather than the exception.

Judges have already ruled that cops have no duty to save people’s lives. So why would these guys stick their necks out and risk getting hurt (or worse, accused of being racists)?

Deputy Scot Peterson has resigned after being suspended, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said.

“I am devastated. Sick to my stomach. He never went in,” Sheriff Israel said.

Earlier this week President Trump said arming school teachers could prevent school shootings.

The proposal has long been championed by the powerful National Rifle Association (NRA) gun lobby.

On Thursday, in the NRA’s first comments since the massacre, its head accused Democrats and media of “exploiting” the attack. Wayne LaPierre said “opportunists” were using the tragedy to expand gun control and abolish US gun rights.

Which, of course, is absurd.

Because even if police did protect people who are attacked right in front of their eyes, the odds of a cop being present when you happen to get mugged or shot at by a lunatic are close to zero.

“Wait, sir, I need to call the police before you start mugging me.”

Any attacker will have time to kill you and your loved ones many times over by the time police arrive at the scene.

The only immediate solution to the threat of violence by evil people is to make sure that good people are armed as well.

What did the officer do?

Sheriff Israel said Mr Peterson was on campus, armed and in uniform when the shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School campus in Parkland began.

He said video footage showed Mr Peterson arriving at the building where the shooting was taking place about 90 seconds after the first shots were fired and that he remained outside for about four minutes. The attack lasted six minutes, Sheriff Israel said.

Asked what Mr Peterson should have done, Sheriff Israel said: “Went in, addressed the killer, killed the killer.”

Mr Peterson is yet to publicly comment on what happened. Sheriff Israel said he had not given a reason for why he did not go into the building where the shooter was.

It is unclear if he will face charges.

He might “face charges,” but I don’t believe he can be convicted of anything. Again, we have a legal precedent in the United States stating that a police department can’t be sued for failing to protect people. Individual cops are also protected by a collective insurance policy.

The moral of the story here is that the idea of the state providing “safety” is merely an illusion. In reality, anyone can kill anyone else anytime they want, and there’s basically nothing the state can do to stop it. At best, they can arrest the killer after the fact. But that means nothing for the safety of you and your family.

It’s a man’s natural duty to protect himself and the people he cares about, and those that would relegate that burden to a higher power is a slave, not a free man.
