It’s been a long time coming, but a White Supremacist jury has finally decided that this “boot-lipped moon cricket” (their words, not mine) needs to be put down once and for all.

KXAN:

A Bastrop District court has set an execution date for death-row inmate Rodney Reed. He is set to be put to death by lethal injection on Nov. 20, 2019, according to an order signed by Presiding Judge Doug Shaver.

The order details eight times Reed has unsuccessfully attempted to appeal and overturn his conviction over the past 20 years since he was convicted in the 1996 strangulation and sexual assault of 19-year-old Stacey Stites.

Rodney Reed.

A prosecutor for the state filed a motion requesting an execution date on July 12. Reed’s attorney, Bryce Benjet, argued the state filed that motion in retaliation for Reed’s family protesting the case in Washington D.C. a day earlier. Benjet said the state violated the Reed family’s 1st Amendment rights and falsely implied the execution date would not interfere with litigation in the case, according to a motion.

…

Stites was set to marry her fiance Jimmy Fennell, a Giddings police officer, within days of her death.

DNA found on Stites linked Reed to the murder. Reed claims he was involved in a secret sexual relationship with her, and the defense has brought forward several witnesses since the original trial who say they knew of the relationship.

Oh, she was a coalburner.

Because of course.

Stacey Stites.

Stacey Stites went to work in Bastrop, Texas April 23, 1996 and was never seen alive by her family again. Evil Black monster Rodney Reed was found guilty for kidnapping, raping, beating and strangling Stacey.

Texas’ top criminal court has stayed the execution of a death row inmate whose attorneys argue he didn’t kill a 19-year-old woman nearly two decades ago.

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals issued a stay Monday that halts the March 5 execution of Rodney Reed.

Reed was convicted of the 1996 rape and strangling death of Stacey Stites, a grocery store worker whose body was found off the side of a road in Central Texas.

Reed’s attorneys argue that another man, police officer Jimmy Fennell, killed Stites and that forensic evidence suggests she was killed hours before the time jurors were told at Reed’s trial.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office was reviewing the court’s ruling and did not immediately comment.

Bug-eyed Rodney Reed succeeded in getting his execution delayed so the court could hear new evidence.

Stacey Stites was a young White Christian woman who was abducted, raped, beaten and murdered by a Black mockery of a man, that should never have been allowed to roam free among civilized White people.

A Texas judge has set an execution date for a death row inmate convicted of raping and murdering a 19-year-old woman.

Judge Doug Shaver on Monday set Rodney Reed’s execution date for 6 p.m. on Jan. 14. Reed is in prison for the 1996 slaying of Bastrop County resident Stacey Stites.

Rodney Reed was convicted in 1988 on a capital murder charge in Bastrop County for the strangling of a Central Texas woman who he claimed was his ‘secret girlfriend’.

Attorneys for the Innocence Project argued there is more evidence in the case that needs to be DNA tested. Reed’s family claims prosecutors withheld evidence during the trial.

Prosecutors say there has been enough time to appeal the 1998 conviction.

Shaver says he will allow limited DNA testing.
