“Zelensky is no longer legitimate as his term has expired according to the constitution of Ukraine.”

I’m not sure I believe Putin said this in these terms.

But… Russia is pretty sick of the war, despite the fact that they’re winning, and just doing a deal and ending the shit would definitely be viewed as a good option.

I mean, they already won all the territory they were claiming, plus some.

Reuters:

Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to halt the war in Ukraine with a negotiated ceasefire that recognises the current battlefield lines, four Russian sources told Reuters, saying he is prepared to fight on if Kyiv and the West do not respond.

Three of the sources, familiar with discussions in Putin’s entourage, said the veteran Russian leader had expressed frustration to a small group of advisers about what he views as Western-backed attempts to stymie negotiations and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s decision to rule out talks.

“Putin can fight for as long as it takes, but Putin is also ready for a ceasefire – to freeze the war,” said another of the four, a senior Russian source who has worked with Putin and has knowledge of top level conversations in the Kremlin.

He, like the others cited in this story, spoke on condition of anonymity given the matter’s sensitivity.

For this account, Reuters spoke to a total of five people who work with or have worked with Putin at a senior level in the political and business worlds. The fifth source did not comment on freezing the war at the current frontlines.

Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in response to a request for comment, said the Kremlin chief had repeatedly made clear Russia was open to dialogue to achieve its goals, saying the country did not want “eternal war.”

Ukraine’s foreign and defence ministries did not respond to questions.

A guide stands next to a German-manufactured Leopard tank at an exhibition displaying vehicles and equipment captured by the Russian army from the Ukraine’s forces.

Zelenskiy has repeatedly said peace on Putin’s terms is a non-starter. He has vowed to retake lost territory, including Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014. He signed a decree in 2022 that formally declared any talks with Putin “impossible.”

Russian army servicemen drive a tank on a street in Donetsk.

Putin’s insistence on locking in any battlefield gains in a deal is non-negotiable, all of the sources suggested.

Putin would, however, be ready to settle for what land he has now and freeze the conflict at the current front lines, four of the sources said.

“Putin will say that we won, that NATO attacked us and we kept our sovereignty, that we have a land corridor to Crimea, which is true,” one of them said, giving their own analysis.

Freezing the conflict along current lines would leave Russia in possession of substantial chunks of four Ukrainian regions he formally incorporated into Russia in September 2022, but without full control of any of them.

Such an arrangement would fall short of the goals Moscow set for itself at the time, when it said the four of Ukraine’s regions – Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson – now belonged to it in their entirety.

Peskov said that there could be no question of handing back the four regions which were now permanently part of Russia according to its own constitution.

Yeah, no way anything is getting handed back.

And it would be nice to take Kharkov and Odessa.

But with the threats of a real NATO invasion ramping up… it might be worth it to just call it a day, if the US would allow it.

The problem is, there’s zero chance the US is going to allow it. Their policy is “to the last Ukrainian.” They do not care if every single person in the Ukraine dies, so they just don’t see any reason to end it until the Ukraine government actually collapses.

It’s crazy it hasn’t collapsed yet. But it hasn’t.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy told @Reuters in an exclusive interview that Western allies are taking too long to make key decisions on military support to Ukraine https://t.co/VsGMsPfqUK pic.twitter.com/M24xdzJKUk

— Reuters (@Reuters) May 21, 2024

Ukraine war news is getting both dumber and more boring.

I can’t believe they’re still talking about “Volodymyr” and “Kyiv.”

After the war is finally over, can we go back to spelling these words normally?

When Zelensky finally flees the country in a helicopter full of cash, will he do future interviews in a shirt?

This is the speech he gave on the day he was supposed to face an election. But he canceled the election.

Reuters:

Western allies are taking too long to make key decisions on military support for Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy told Reuters in an exclusive interview in Kyiv on Monday.

He also said he was pushing partners to get more directly involved in the war by helping to intercept Russian missiles over Ukraine and allowing Kyiv to use Western weapons against enemy military equipment amassing near the border.

Wow, this guy is really demanding.

He acts like he’s frigging Jewish.

The call to accelerate aid and push so-called “red lines” of engagement in the conflict reflect the growing pressure Zelenskiy’s forces are under along more than 1,000 km of front lines in the northeast, east and south of the country.

An impassioned Zelenskiy, dressed in his familiar khaki T-shirt and trousers, said the situation on the battlefield was “one of the most difficult” he had known since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.

“Ey yo, hol up. Give me dat.”

In recent weeks Moscow’s troops have made incursions into northeastern Ukraine, further testing Kyiv’s already stretched defences. At the same time, Russia has taken territory in the eastern Donbas region in sometimes fierce battles.

“A very powerful wave (of fighting) is going on in Donbas … No-one even notices that there are actually more battles in the east of the country, specifically in the Donbas direction: Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar.”

He added, however, that the situation north of Kharkiv was now “under control”.

Haha.

RU sure?

The 46-year-old was speaking on the fifth anniversary of his inauguration as president. He has not contested elections because of martial law imposed due to the invasion.

Zelenskiy called again for faster military aid from the United States and other partners. Weapons and ammunition from a recently passed U.S. package is now arriving in Ukraine, but it was delayed for months by internal political wrangling.

Wrangling?

More like Levising.

What we needed was some Hugo Bossing.

(Sorry, that joke made more sense in my head. I’m just really embarrassed about it now.)

“Every decision to which we, then later everyone together, comes to is late by around one year,” said Zelenskiy.

“But it is what it is: one big step forward, but before that two steps back. So we need to change the paradigm a little bit.”

Zelenskiy said he wanted his partners to be more directly involved in the war, but understood they were wary of antagonising Russia.

“It’s a question of will,” he said. “But everyone says a word that sounds the same in every language: everyone is scared of escalation. Everyone has gotten used to the fact that Ukrainians are dying – that’s not escalation for people.”

It’s not actually a question of will, it’s a question of starting a world war.

Also, everyone is used to the fact that Ukrainians are dying because you people said you wanted to fight to control a territory that doesn’t want to be a part of your country, and you wanted to host NATO nukes.

This is like a pimp saying “everyone has gotten used to the fact that hoes be getting smacked.”

He proposed that the armed forces of neighbouring NATO countries could intercept incoming Russian missiles over Ukrainian territory to help Kyiv protect itself.

Russia has fired thousands of missiles and drones at Ukraine since the start of the wider conflict, and air defences are a priority for Kyiv.

“Russians are using 300 planes on the territory of Ukraine. We need at least 120, 130 planes to resist in the sky,” he said.

…

He said that if countries could not supply the planes straight away, they could still fly them from neighbouring NATO states and shoot down Russian missiles.

The Ukrainian leader also said Kyiv was negotiating with international partners to use their weapons to strike Russian military hardware at the border and further inside Russian territory.

Man.

That is really a lot of demands.

I haven’t heard that many demands since the night I drowned my wife.

Watch: Before and After Drone Footage Shows Total Annihilation of Gaza https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/08/watch-before-and-after-drone-footage-shows-total-annihilation-of-gaza/ Mon, 08 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

We’ve never seen anything like this before.

The US and the British did this to Dresden (Jews also responsible for that one, btw), but at least that was a situation where there was an army and a real war going on. Hamas is a very small group, and this is not a real war.

This is the worst atrocity in all of human history. No one is doing anything.

It’s apparently taking people a while to process that this is even real, because it’s so far outside of normal reality to just sit and watch a military commit a mass extermination of an entire people.

Reuters:

Drone footage of Gaza over the six months of warfare between Israel and Hamas shows how the once vibrant Palestinian enclave has been transformed into a vast wasteland of rubble and twisted steel by Israeli bombardment.

During normal days, Palestinians used to be able to stand on their buildings’ balconies and take in a view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Those structures have vanished, footage from Reuters and other sources shows, crushed into piles of cement and debris.

Residents have been forced to wander Gaza seeking shelter from an Israeli offensive designed to destroy its arch enemy Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the campaign will not stop until Hamas is eliminated, so the bombardment and destruction is expected to continue.

They are just going to kill everyone, apparently.

The Biden people are now saying they don’t agree with it, but even after the Jews murdered those white aid workers (including an American), they are refusing to threaten to stop sending them weapons.

It looked like Biden was claiming to have threatened that last week, but it turned out he just threatened to “stop supporting them,” apparently referring to moral support.

The father of the American murdered by these Jew vampires begged Antony Blinken to threaten to stop sending weapons, and he refused.

This is just going to keep going. After Rafah, Israel is going to go into Lebanon, and Iran will be defending them. That will be about the time of the US election.

It’s all very hilarious.

Watch: Reuters Cameramen Take Bicycle Ride Along Ruins of Gaza https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/04/05/watch-reuters-cameramen-take-bicycle-ride-along-ruins-of-gaza/ Fri, 05 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000

These are brave cameramen.

Journalists are considered to be enemy combatants by the Jews. Doing a ride like this, you’ve only got like a 20% chance of not being murdered by Jews.

Reuters:

Before the Gaza war erupted, the tiny enclave run by the Palestinian militant group Hamas was impoverished and densely populated, but full of life — restaurants, shops, makeshift soccer pitches, universities and hospitals.

Six months after the conflict began, Reuters cameramen took bicycle rides along its ruined streets to gauge the destruction left by Israeli air strikes that have killed more than 33,000 people in retaliation for Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

The same scene played out on one road after another — pile after pile of rubble on each side in the strip, home to 2.3 million people who lack medicine, medical care and food in a deepening humanitarian crisis.

Many live in shelters or tent cities after moving from one part of the enclave to another to try to escape the relentless bombardment.

Movement along its quiet streets is limited. There are few signs of life. Men drive by on a motorbike. A young boy pushes a wheelbarrow along a dirt road past obliterated buildings through clouds of dirt. A mosque was not spared destruction.

On another, a man walks along with a sack of flour on his shoulder. Food is scarce in Gaza where Palestinians say attempting to secure supplies is a life or death scramble like the one that cost more than 100 Palestinians their lives in February trying to get food from an aid convoy. Israel said many were trampled to death in the chaos, while Gaza’s health authorities say Israeli troops opened fire on crowds.

It’s really the perfect image of Jewishness.

It’s a metaphor for what they do to everything they are allowed access to.

This is physical destruction, but it is not so different than the spiritual destruction they’ve done to white people countries.

Israel Killed Reuters Reporter on Purpose, UN Investigation Concludes https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/03/14/israel-killed-reuters-reporter-on-purpose-un-investigation-concludes/ Thu, 14 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Reuters reporter Issam Abdallah in 2022.

Wow it is so shocking that Jews would do something like this after Hitler put all their shoes in a pile.

If someone put my shoes in a pile, I would develop a deep understanding of human suffering, and I wouldn’t go around murdering journalists.

Reuters:

An Israeli tank killed Reuters reporter Issam Abdallah in Lebanon last year by firing two 120 mm rounds at a group of “clearly identifiable journalists” in violation of international law, a U.N. investigation into the Oct. 13 incident has found.

The investigation by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), summarized in a report seen by Reuters, said its personnel did not record any exchange of fire across the border between Israel and Lebanon for more than 40 minutes before the Israeli Merkava tank opened fire.

“The firing at civilians, in this instance clearly identifiable journalists, constitutes a violation of UNSCR 1701 (2006) and international law,” the UNIFIL report said, referring to Security Council resolution 1701.

The seven-page report dated Feb. 27 said further: “It is assessed that there was no exchange of fire across the Blue Line at the time of the incident. The reason for the strikes on the journalists is not known.”

Why would they say it’s “not known”?

I guess they don’t know for sure without a written admission of guilt, but it seems like they could at least speculate that Israel continues to kill journalists because they don’t want people reporting on what they are doing in Gaza.

Certainly, when Vladimir Putin is (falsely) accused of killing journalists, everyone just claims outright “it’s because he doesn’t want them reporting on his crimes.”

If they’ve decided that it was not an accident, then there is not really a lot of room for speculation as to what the purpose of the murder was. I mean, maybe the journalist was banging the wife of the guy driving the tank, but that seems really unlikely.

Israeli Tank Purposefully Opened Fire on Clearly Marked Journalists with Tank Rounds, Report Finds https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/03/08/israeli-tank-purposefully-opened-fire-on-clearly-marked-journalists-with-tank-rounds-report-finds/ Fri, 08 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000

— Dr. Mustafa Elmasri (@Gaza_Psych) March 7, 2024

“JOURNALISTS could be here” he thought, “I’ve never been in this patch of bombed out rubble before. There could be JOURNALISTS anywhere.” The cool wind felt good against his bare chest. “I HATE JOURNALISTS” he thought. Sweet Dreams are Made of These reverberated his entire tank, making it pulsate even as the halakha wine circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of Amalek after dark. “With a tank, you can go kill anyone you want” he said to himself, out loud.

Reuters:

An Israeli tank crew killed a Reuters reporter in Lebanon in October by firing two shells at a clearly identified group of journalists and then “likely” opened fire on them with a heavy machine gun in an attack that lasted 1 minute and 45 seconds, according to a report into the incident published on Thursday.

I just can’t believe the Jews would do something like this.

Especially after Adolf Hitler put all their shoes in that pile.

The report by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) – which was contracted by Reuters to analyse evidence from the Oct. 13 attack that killed visuals journalist Issam Abdallah – found that a tank 1.34 km away in Israel fired two 120 mm rounds at the reporters.

Issam Abdallah

The first shell killed Abdallah, 37, and severely wounded Agence France-Presse (AFP) photographer Christina Assi, 28.

A tail fin of a tank round.

A Reuters investigation in December covered TNO’s preliminary finding that a tank in Israel had fired at the journalists. In its final report on Thursday, the institute revealed that audio picked up by an Al Jazeera video camera at the scene showed the reporters also came under fire from 0.50 calibre rounds of the type used by the Browning machine guns that can be mounted on Israel’s Merkava tanks.

Roflmao.

Firing tank rounds and THEN opening fire with the o.50 cal makes it so much funnier.

“It is considered a likely scenario that a Merkava tank, after firing two tank rounds, also used its machine gun against the location of the journalists,” TNO’s report said. “The latter cannot be concluded with certainty as the direction and exact distance of (the machine gun) fire could not be established.”

Reuters could not independently determine if the Israeli tank crew knew it was firing on journalists, nor whether it also shot at them with a machine gun and, if so, why.

Yes, I wonder why they would want to kill journalists?

It could be a mystery forever.

Neither of the two surviving Reuters reporters or another AFP journalist at the scene remembered the machine gun fire. All said they were in shock at the time.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it was working on a response to questions from Reuters about the incident. Asked to comment on TNO’s preliminary findings in December, the IDF said: “We don’t target journalists.” A day after the Reuters investigation was published, it said the incident took place in an active combat zone.

International humanitarian law bars attacks on journalists as those in the news media have the full scope of protection granted to civilians and cannot be considered military targets.

“We condemn, in the strongest terms, the attack on a clearly identifiable group of journalists, working in the open. The attack killed our colleague Issam Abdallah and injured several others. We reiterate our calls on Israel to explain how this could have happened and to hold those responsible to account,” Reuters Editor-in-Chief Alessandra Galloni said.

Yeah but will you condemn Hamas?

AFP Global News Director Phil Chetwynd reiterated his call for a thorough and transparent investigation by the Israeli military.

“If reports of sustained machine gun fire are confirmed, this would add more weight to the theory this was a targeted and deliberate attack,” he said.

Ihtisham Hibatullah, Al Jazeera’s manager of international communications, urged the Israeli government to disclose the findings of its own investigation.

“This incident strongly indicates intentional targeting, as confirmed by investigations, including by TNO,” he said.

…

Reuters photographer Thaier Al-Sudani, 47 cameraman Maher Nazeh, 53, as well as two journalists from Al Jazeera and another from AFP were also wounded in the attack.

I feel a need, as I felt the Hohols were caught purposefully killing journalists, to remind everyone of this guy:

Remember when the Saudis (allegedly) killed him?

Remember when it was the most important news story, ever, for weeks on end?

TIME made him “Person of the Year.”

I remember that.

I’m thinking this report of continued Jewish murder of journalists won’t be that big of a story. In fact, I would go so far as to guess 99% of Americans won’t ever hear about it.

Peasant Media Says China is Brewing a New Pandemic by Improving Other Countries’ Economies https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/05/19/peasant-media-says-china-is-brewing-a-new-pandemic-by-improving-other-countries-economies/ Fri, 19 May 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Oh, China is doing something evil again?

That’s not surprising, because as we all know: CCP communist party regime autocracy. They hate us for our freedoms.

It is truly only the diabolical Chinaman that could think of a plot so devious as to spread new viruses by helping developing countries through investment.

Reuters:

The country that spawned two global coronavirus pandemics in the last two decades is laying tracks for a future one here.

China financed the China-Laos Railway, a high-speed link from its southern border to the capital of Laos. It cuts a 422-kilometer swath through forested terrain that is home to dozens of species of bat, some of which host viruses similar to the one that caused the current pandemic.

Built to speed the export of commodities to China, the rail link runs roughly parallel to a new superhighway.

Development and tourism already are accelerating along the routes – and, scientists warn, increasing the risk that a new pandemic pathogen will emerge from a remote place into a world more interconnected than ever.

Exacerbating the risk, bats are part of the Lao culture and economy. The government grants concessions to harvesters who collect guano, or bat droppings, from the plentiful caves that dot the region. The guano is used as fertilizer.

Bats are part of the local diet for some people. The animals are sold grilled and skewered at markets and street stalls. Scientists found coronavirus in samples taken from one market.

Deep through the forests of this landlocked Southeast Asian country, China has built a state-of-the-art high-speed railway. The link is supposed to bring prosperity. Some scientists fear it could also bring out something else: a new pandemic.

China already has been the source of two pandemics since the turn of the century, both linked to a family of viruses found in bats across Southeast Asia. The Asian titan is now disrupting habitats in neighboring Laos that are home to bats hosting similar pathogens. They include coronaviruses closely related to the one that caused the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has killed at least 7 million people worldwide.

The China-Laos Railway is a project of Beijing’s historic “Belt and Road” infrastructure initiative to tie the world to China. Following decades of Chinese-led development in Laos, the railway crosses the border via the Friendship Tunnel, at the edge of China’s Xishuangbanna Prefecture. It then extends 422 km to the Lao capital of Vientiane. Along its way southward, it cuts through rich rainforest, leafy mountains, and previously untouched karst – intricate landscapes of soluble-rock peaks and caverns that are a preferred habitat of the region’s bats and have long been a barrier between them and human settlements.

For Laos, a one-party communist state with close ties to its giant neighbor, the railway is meant to spur development, boost tourism, and forge even greater links with China. Since the train began operating in December 2021, it has carried more than 14 million passengers and over 18 million metric tons of goods, according to the Chinese government.

“The Laos-China railway corridor has greatly benefited Laos in numerous ways, particularly the government’s effort to develop its economy and upgrade the living standard of the people,” wrote an unidentified official from the Lao embassy in Washington in an email to Reuters.

Some scientists say the rail line is worrisome because development along its once-remote trajectory is accelerating tree loss and bringing humans into closer contact with bats. The train also enables the fast movement of people and goods from rural to populous areas, where viruses can easily multiply and spread. That includes people or goods that may have had contact with live animals in a wildlife trade that has been linked to past outbreaks.

“This is the lesson,” said Chris Newman, a biologist at Oxford University who studied COVID-19’s origins. “It was infected people who took the virus to every corner of the world – so quickly that there was absolutely nothing we could do to contain it.”

The Lao embassy official didn’t answer detailed questions about the disruption of Lao bat habitats and the health risks that could arise because of the railway, but said: “We have never before heard of such information or come across any reliable reports that identify Laos as among the highest risk places in the world.” The official added: “We would like to reassure you that there is no such issue happening in Laos.”

We have to stop China from investing in developing countries.

As we all know, people who believe in true democracy values understand that freedom can only come from violent revolution and war. It’s an unfortunate fact of our values of who we are that the road to true utopia is littered with corpses, but what can we do?

We believe in democracy.

We have no other choice, because that is the values of who we are in a rules-based order.

Reuters Interviews 5 Happy Wagner Soldiers: “I Wish All Real Men Would Join Wagner” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/03/17/reuters-interviews-5-happy-wagner-soldiers-i-wish-all-real-men-would-join-wagner/ Fri, 17 Mar 2023 00:00:00 +0000

NEW: We spent the last few weeks identifying ~30 Wagner convict fighters who returned from Ukraine and received their pardons. Five agreed to talk to us. What resulted is the most detailed insider account of Wagner’s prisoner army yet published @Reuters https://t.co/8R849i7gIj

— Felix Light (@felix_light) March 16, 2023

Wagner is ultra cyberpunk.

Most of the troops are now convicts, after Putin made the call to allow the PMC to recruit from prisons.

This means that if they die, the state has saved money on housing them. If they don’t die, well then, that is also good. It’s win-win, and basically ensures an unlimited amount of soldiers for this absurd attrition war.

I don’t think there is any evidence that this Reuters interview is real, but it might be. It is interesting either way.

Reuters:

Reuters tracked down and interviewed five Russian prisoners who fought in Ukraine in return for freedom. They gave the most detailed insider account yet of Wagner’s convict army.

In October last year, a Russian news site published a short video of Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner Group, the Russian mercenary army, sitting with four men on a rooftop terrace in the resort town of Gelendzhik, on Russia’s Black Sea coast. Two are missing parts of a leg. A third has lost an arm. They are identified as pardoned former convicts, returned from the front in Ukraine after joining Wagner from prison.

“You were an offender, now you’re a war hero,” Prigozhin tells one man in the clip. It was the first video to depict the return of some of the thousands of convicts who joined Wagner in return for the promise of a pardon if they survived six months of war.

Reuters used facial recognition software to examine this video and more than a dozen other videos and photographs of homecoming convict fighters, published between October 2022 and February 2023. Reporters were able to identify more than 30 of the men by cross-checking the images with social media and Russian court documents.

That’s terrifying and really a much bigger story than the story in question.

But okay.

In their ranks are murderers, thieves and a self-declared “Satanist.” Several are in hospital recovering from wounds sustained in the fighting. Reuters managed to make contact with 11 of these men. Five agreed to be interviewed by phone and messaging app. What follows is the most detailed insider account yet of Wagner’s convict army: the fighters’ recruitment and training, the combat they saw in Ukraine, and their uncertain future in a Russia turned upside down by war with its neighbour.

Four of the men said they were personally recruited by Yevgeny Prigozhin as he toured Russia’s prison system to bolster his private army. Some of the men were deployed to Ukraine’s eastern Bakhmut region, site of some of the most intense fighting of the one-year-old conflict, where one man described the “utter hell” of the battlefield. Thousands have been killed on both sides. The battle for the city of Bakhmut now hangs in the balance. A former Wagner commander who fled to Norway in January has said he witnessed members of Wagner’s internal security administering brutal treatment to prisoner recruits, including executions for desertion.

That isn’t “brutal treatment.”

You have to execute deserters. The US has always done this. You literally cannot have a military if you don’t execute deserters. But of course, Reuters can just not mention that this is standard practice in every military and pretend it is some new form of “brutal” behavior, because the Americans who read this tripe are too stupid and poorly educated to know that deserter execution is the absolute norm in every military ever in all of history.

Combat training, some conducted by veterans of Russia’s special forces, was short but intensive, according to the men. Ukrainian and Western officials say Wagner is sending poorly prepared fighters to certain death in eastern Ukraine.

…

All five ex-prisoners expressed a fierce loyalty to Prigozhin for giving them a second chance at life. Though Reuters could not independently confirm the men’s accounts of their service, many of the details were consistent with one another. Russia’s Defence Ministry and penal service did not respond to detailed questions for this article, nor did Prigozhin and Wagner. Prigozhin has previously described Wagner as “probably the most experienced army that exists in the world today” and said its casualty rate is comparable with other Russian units.

When Prigozhin began touring Russia’s sprawling penal system in summer 2022 offering pardons to those who agreed to fight in Ukraine, word quickly spread among prisoners.

It’s like that John Carpenter movie “Ghosts of Mars.”

Rustam Borovkov, from the small town of Porkhov, near Russia’s border with Estonia, was one of the four men filmed on the rooftop terrace. Court records show that the 31-year-old was six years into a 13-year term for manslaughter and theft in late July when Prigozhin reached his prison, Penal Colony No. 6 in Russia’s western Pskov region. Borovkov and two friends had broken into a house to steal homebrewed alcohol, according to the court papers. One of them struck the homeowner, who died as a result.

It’s best because it is like, the archetypal Russian crime story.

Borovkov had heard from inmates in St Petersburg that Prigozhin was travelling from prison to prison in search of recruits. “I knew right away that I would go,” he told Reuters, “even before he came to us.”

Rustam Borovkov

Six-time convicted thief Yevgeny Kuzhelev said a sense of patriotic duty drew him to Wagner. The 29-year-old was serving time in Russia’s southwestern Samara region for stealing cognac, beer and instant coffee from supermarkets in the Volga car-making city of Togliatti, according to court papers.

Haha!

They have to have made these up!

They’re too perfect!

“I was sentenced to 3 years and 7 months and I’d already served two years. So I didn’t have long left. But I went anyway. Why? I thought about it, and I am sure that if I had been free at the time, I would have one hundred percent gone to fight. I would have gone as a volunteer,” he said. “I remember how from February, when it all started, I called my aunt from time to time from prison. She kept telling me that this friend of yours went [to Ukraine], then another one, then a third, a fourth … And I knew that I would have done the same.”

…

One of the convict recruits told Reuters he travelled to a Wagner training camp in the Russian-controlled part of eastern Ukraine’s Luhansk region. Borovkov said training was conducted by former members of Russia’s special forces. “Everything was organised at the highest level,” said Borovkov, who previously served with the military force that secures  Russia’s railways. “It wasn’t that they gave me a machine gun, showed me how to shoot and that’s it. No, they explained everything, and in great detail. Mining, demining, tactics, shooting, physical training. Everything.”

The men who spoke to Reuters said that most of the inmates who joined Wagner had some kind of military experience. They had previously served as conscripts under Russia’s one-year military draft or as professional soldiers. The convicts with the most military experience were appointed squad commanders, two of the men said.

“When we got to training, we were asked in detail who knew what, who had served, where they served,” said 38-year-old Dmitry Yermakov, who joined Wagner 10 years into a 14-year sentence for kidnapping. He declined to discuss his criminal record. “And then, when we had been divided into units, they let the lads choose their own commanders. By that time I had already earned some kind of authority, so I was chosen.”

Yermakov said the recruits who realised the gravity of the situation and asked instructors to repeat drills were the best prepared for what was to come. “Those were the men who were genuinely ready to go to war,” he said. Others hoped merely to run down the clock on their six-month stints, hoping that they would receive their pardon having seen as little combat as possible. Of these men, Yermakov said: “It was absolutely clear they were going to die.”

Yermakov and Kuzhelev

“It was amazing,” said Andrei Yastrebov, a 22-year-old native of St Petersburg, who was serving time for car theft when he joined Wagner. Yastrebov also goes by the name Andrei Kiriyenko on social media. “So much adrenalin. I wish all real men would join Wagner. You can write that. The Ukies ran and Wagner fucked them up.”

So true.

Real men join wars and destroy Anal Empire fighters.

This is just simply a fact.

Four of the men interviewed by Reuters were seriously injured and invalided out of Ukraine long before completing their stints. They said Wagner had told them that time spent in hospital and rehabilitation would be counted towards their six-month terms and they would receive clemency regardless. Two said they have already got their pardons.

…

“In a war, you’re almost always lying flat on the ground. It’s the only way to survive,” said Kuzhelev, the convicted thief. He told Reuters he spent two months at the front before receiving a shrapnel wound to his arm. “We always wish people ‘Happy Birthday’ after they have been wounded” because they have dodged death. “That’s what they said to me,” he added.

Now free years ahead of schedule, whether at home or facing long periods of treatment and rehabilitation, the surviving fighters are returning to a country where their actions on the frontline are lionised by many. Prigozhin has previously said that he is giving convicts who join Wagner a “second chance” at life, and an opportunity to redeem themselves.

It’s very cool, but it’s also beautiful, is it not?

You’re the most despised in society, and then by bravery alone, you become among the most-respected in society.

Few criminals have ever had the chance for this kind of redemption arc.

Earlier this month the State Duma passed a law making it a crime to “discredit” Wagner fighters. The law, which previously applied more narrowly to Russia’s armed forces, was extended at Prigozhin’s request.

…

For Kuzhelev, who as of February had been in a Krasnodar region hospital for four months, Prigozhin had given him a new lease on life. Court documents show he spent almost seven of his 29 years in prison for six separate convictions. “The last time I was sent to prison, I was thinking: ‘Well, here I am again, what’s next?’” he said. “I’ll serve a year, another, a third, and then what? I’ll go out, and what am I going to do on the outside? What am I going to do with myself, given my background?”

“Well, now I’m clean. I have some money. I can think about the future. Think about getting a mortgage to buy an apartment … I have all this thanks to our esteemed Yevgeny Viktorovich,” Kuzhelev added, using Prigozhin’s patronymic as a sign of respect.

All five of the men who spoke to Reuters said either that they would remain with Wagner after their six month service, or were seriously considering doing so.

Russia is awesome.

Everything about Russia is as good as everything about America is satanic and gay.

I love romantic cyberpunk stories of personal redemption. That is really the best thing.

Media Continues to Use Bizarre Language to Describe Ukrainian Attacks on Nuclear Power Plant https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/08/27/media-continues-to-use-bizarre-language-to-describe-ukrainian-attacks-on-nuclear-power-plant/ Sat, 27 Aug 2022 00:00:00 +0000

We’ve been covering this story from the angle of media criticism: the media is going back and forth between outright claiming that Russia is attacking their own power plant, to simply saying “the power plant is being shelled” without saying that the Ukraine is doing it.

Related: Western Media Continues with Vague Language About Ukrainian Attacks on Nuclear Plant

Notably, it was primarily British media that was outright claiming that Russia was attacking itself for unclear reasons. The claim originates from the Zelensky government. But Zelensky seems to have made these statements for domestic consumption. He’s shut down all opposition media, so he can just tell his own people whatever he wants. To an international audience, however, the idea that Russia has spent weeks shelling its own nuclear power plant simply makes no sense.

Why would they be doing that? To what end?

Antony Blinken, the Jew of State, has directly addressed the issue indirectly, saying that Russia should surrender the power plant so the attacks stop, without ever saying that the attacks were being carried out by the Ukraine using US weapons.

Now, Reuters is suggesting again that Russia is attacking itself for no reason without directly saying it, quoting Ukraine people propaganda as if it makes some kind of sense.

Reuters:

Moscow and Kyiv traded fresh accusations on Saturday of shelling around the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, which has been a focus of international concern that fighting in the area could trigger a disaster.

Zaporizhzhia, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, has been controlled by Russian forces since early March, soon after the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Ukrainian staff continue to operate it and in recent weeks the two sides have traded blame for shelling near the plant.

Ukraine’s state nuclear company Energoatom energy agency said Russian troops again shelled the grounds of the plant complex in the last 24 hours.

“The damage is currently being ascertained,” Energoatom wrote in a statement on Telegram.

By who?

If you’re using satellites, then you might notice that your own people are the ones lobbing missiles at a nuclear reactor.

Moscow’s defence ministry accused Ukrainian forces of shelling the plant complex three times in the last 24 hours.

Reuters could not verify the battlefield report.

Ok.

“A total of 17 shells were fired, four of which hit the roof of Special Building No. 1, where 168 assemblies of U.S. WestingHouse nuclear fuel are stored,” the Russian defence ministry said in a statement.

It said 10 shells exploded near a dry storage facility for spent nuclear fuel and three more near a building that houses fresh nuclear fuel storage. It said the radiation situation at the plant remained normal.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Friday the situation at Zaporizhzhia remained “very risky” after two of its six reactors were reconnected to the grid following shelling that caused the nuclear plant to be disconnected for the first time in its history.

Why don’t you stop firing missiles at it, Jew?

There is Russian military all over your country – there are a lot of places you can fire those missiles. Firing them at random apartment complexes and malls in Donetsk seems to make more sense than trying to trigger a nuclear meltdown.

Energoatom said on Friday evening that both of the plant’s two functioning reactors had been reconnected to the grid and were again supplying electricity after they were fully disconnected on Thursday.

The U.N.’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency, wants to visit the plant in the south of the country and agency chief Rafael Grossi said on Thursday that it was “very, very close” to being able to send officials there.

Well, it’s controlled by Russia, and they’re not the ones assassinating journalists and inspectors, so I don’t really see what the hold-up is. Russia has invited you to come watch the Ukrainians shelling this nuclear plant.

Energoatom’s statement on Saturday said its staff at the plant had come under “increased pressure” ahead of the likely visit.

“The (Russians), preparing for the IAEA’s visit, have increased pressure on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant’s personnel- in order to hush up their testimonies about the crimes of the occupiers at the station and using it as a military base,” it said.

The foreign ministers of the G7 countries have previously urged Russia to hand the plant back to Ukraine. Earlier this month U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said military equipment and personnel should be withdrawn from the plant and called for efforts to ensure it is not the target of military operations.

It’s just a threat – “give us back the nuclear plant – by letting us back across the river – or we’re going to cause a meltdown.”

I don’t know if they’re really going to cause a meltdown. Honestly, I have no idea what the purpose of this charade is. It’s frankly very goofy.

Is this tweet satirical?

The Russians are torturing and murdering the power plant staff?

What?

Why?

I guess I can agree they’re heroes, continuing to work in a power plant under US military assault. I think that’s heroic.

Even in the Ukraine people media, they switch back and forth between saying Russia is attacking the plant and saying they have to attack it because there is Russian military there.

Again, there is Russian military all over the place. I doubt they are firing from the power plant, because we just haven’t seen Russia do weird things like that, whereas everything the Ukraine does is weird. But even if they were firing from there – they’re firing from all over.

Any normal person would tell Ukrainians to stop shelling a nuclear power plant, but people don’t know that is happening because of this bizarre language the media is using.

Reuters Publishes Big Hit Piece Against BitChute, Rumble, and Odysee for Hosting “Misinformation” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/08/23/reuters-publishes-big-hit-piece-against-bitchute-rumble-and-odysee-for-hosting-misinformation/ Tue, 23 Aug 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Reuters investigates how video-sharing sites Bitchute and Odysee, who tout themselves as free-speech champions, are serving up conspiracies, racism and graphic violence to millions of viewers 👉 https://t.co/IlbWkgpdMv pic.twitter.com/aoWFpSu8qC

The trannies are calling for Cloudflare to shut down drama forum Kiwi Farms, and their signal has been boosted to the point it is trending on Twitter several days in a row.

Cloudflare is a semi-monopoly CDN backbone service that basically all websites need to run.

Meanwhile, the media is doing major hit pieces on alternative video sites.

They said “make your own Twitter/YouTube/Facebook,” and then people did make their own, and they’ve been calling for them to be banned ever since.

Andrew Anglin has said since 2017 that all of the things that happened to Daily Stormer in terms of banning would happen to anyone who disagreed with the Jews/government/media at all. People will say “oh, Anglin, looks like your prediction was wrong!” – but in every case, it is is not wrong, it just hasn’t happened yet.

Reuters:

BitChute and Odysee serve up conspiracies, racism and graphic violence to millions of viewers. Taking advantage of Big Tech disinformation crackdowns and the rise of Trump, the sites reflect a new media universe – one where COVID-19 is fake, Russia fights Nazis in Ukraine, and mass shootings are ‘false flag’ operations.

A day after a mass shooting in Buffalo, New York last May, the video-sharing website BitChute was amplifying a far-right conspiracy theory that the massacre was a so-called false flag operation, meant to discredit gun-loving Americans.

Three of the top 15 videos on the site that day blamed U.S. federal agents instead of the true culprit: a white-supremacist teenager who had vowed to “kill as many blacks as possible” before shooting 13 people, killing 10. Other popular videos uploaded by BitChute users falsely claimed COVID-19 vaccines caused cancers that “literally eat you” and spread the debunked claim that Microsoft founder Bill Gates caused a global baby-formula shortage.

BitChute has boomed as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook tighten rules to combat misinformation and hate speech. An upstart BitChute rival, Odysee, has also taken off. Both promote themselves as free-speech havens, and they’re at the forefront of a fast-growing alternative media system that delivers once-fringe ideas to millions of people worldwide.

Searching the two sites on major news topics plunges viewers into a labyrinth of outlandish conspiracy theories, racist abuse and graphic violence. As their viewership has surged since 2019, they have cultivated a devoted audience of mostly younger men, according to data from digital intelligence firm Similarweb.

Some of the BitChute video thumbnails included in the Reuters article:

Online misinformation, though usually legal, triggers real-world harm. U.S. election workers have faced a wave of death threats and harassment inspired by former President Donald Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election was rigged, which also fueled the deadly Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot. Reuters interviews with a dozen people accused of terrorizing election workers revealed that some had acted on bogus information they found on BitChute and almost all had consumed content on sites popular among the far-right.

BitChute and Odysee both host hundreds of videos inspired by the QAnon conspiracy theory, whose supporters have been arrested for threatening politicians, abducting children and blocking a bridge near Arizona’s Hoover Dam with an armored truck full of guns and ammunition.

“Platforms such as BitChute and Odysee have had a seismic impact on the disinformation landscape,” said Joe Ondrak of Logically, a British firm that works with governments and other organizations to reduce the harm of misinformation. The sites, he said, had become the “first port of call” for conspiracists to publish videos.

Source

BitChute and Odysee say they comply with the law by, for example, removing terrorism-related material, and that they have rules banning racist content or incitement of violence. At the same time, the companies defended the rights of extremists to express themselves on their sites and downplayed the importance of their content. “Bitchute’s North Star is free speech, which is the cornerstone of a free and democratic society,” BitChute said in a statement to Reuters. Odysee said that right-wing and conspiracy content didn’t define the platform, which it said is focusing on generating science- and technology-related videos.

Despite the platforms’ rules, their users routinely publish overtly racist videos and post comments that call for violence, a Reuters review of the sites found. BitChute and Odysee didn’t respond to questions about content that appeared to violate the sites’ guidelines.

All social media platforms publish standards saying they don’t accept extreme or hateful content, said Callum Hood of the Center for Countering Digital Hate in London. “The real test is: Do they live up to those standards? With BitChute and Odysee, the answer is an emphatic no.”

Some academics who have researched BitChute and Odysee say their relaxed content-moderation practices result in sites that are dominated by incendiary content that most online publishers routinely reject. Benjamin Horne, a social scientist at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and two colleagues reviewed more than 440,000 BitChute videos and found that 12% of channels received more than 85% of the engagement. “Almost all of those channels contain far-right conspiracies or extreme hate speech,” their report concluded.

Reuters searches of the sites show that their most popular videos are often full of abusive content and misinformation that grossly distort news events.

The top BitChute and Odysee videos in searches for “Buffalo shooting” assert that the massacre never happened. Three of the top 10 on Odysee claimed that Black survivors and witnesses were actors. “It’s payday in the ghetto,” said one commentator. Another video defended the racist theory that motivated the shooter: that whites are being “replaced” by non-whites through migration and population growth. The only purely factual video among BitChute’s top 10 results attracted a slew of racist comments, with one viewer describing the shooter as a “patriot” and his victims as “dumb n‑‑‑‑‑s.”

Searching for “COVID” on BitChute one recent day produced a short film called Plandemic as the top result. Plandemic was banned by YouTube and Facebook for its potentially harmful misinformation, including the claim that wearing a facemask “literally activates your own virus” and makes you sick. At least seven of the top 10 “COVID” search results on Odysee also contained falsehoods – for example, that vaccines contain dangerous nanoparticles or have side-effects that are “like a nuclear bomb.”

It’s a similar story with a widely reported atrocity of the Russia-Ukraine war. Nine out of the top 10 search results on BitChute for “Bucha massacre” theorized that the killing by Russian soldiers of Ukrainian citizens was a hoax intended to escalate U.S. involvement in the war, or that it was the work of Ukrainian soldiers, British agents or “Nazis.”

Identical YouTube searches on these topics produced almost all factual reports from established news organizations. This is consistent with YouTube’s policy of prioritizing information from what it calls “authoritative sources” on sensitive topics or events.

…

A more direct competitor to BitChute and Odysee is Rumble, a larger video-sharing site that attracts right-wing users. Rumble also touts itself as a free-speech champion and attracts thousands of videos promoting conspiracy theories. But Rumble has mainstream ambitions and better financial backing, and the company moderates its content enough to make it palatable to app stores run by Apple and Google – a key growth driver for any digital business.

Some of the Rumble video thumbnails included in the Reuters article:

Here’s the situation right now:

Cloudflare is the next level of banning. Right now, Cloudflare is in damage control mode, under attack by trannies. They are blocking people and actually blocking all replies on tweets.

Cloudflare CEO has blocked all replies.

Both “Kiwifarms” and “#DropKiwifarms” have been trending.

The media is covering this tranny who is getting made fun of on Kiwi Farms, and naming Cloudflare as the responsible party.

Frankly, Kiwi Farms is just a forum, and it can survive being dropped by Cloudflare. Video hosting sites probably can’t survive being dropped by Cloudflare.

Stormer was banned from Cloudflare in 2017 for making fun of some fat woman who had a heart attack. Then a couple years later, 8chan was banned. We are the only sites that have ever been banned from Cloudflare, with their worm CEO claiming the site supports free speech. Of course, now that they’ve banned one site (two sites), they are implicitly endorsing everything that they haven’t banned. If they would have held onto “we will never ban anyone,” they could hold that ground safely. But once you ban someone, you’re endorsing everything you haven’t banned.

Andrew Anglin said this: he said that after everyone was banned from social media, they would come for the independent websites by demanding they be banned from backbone services.

It has begun.
