IBM is running an ad on Twitter about “new creators” It has a black guy.

We need to tap into that untapped potential of the blacks.

To be fair, it’s an ad for programming in Ghana, so it’s logical the person is black.

But why are they running ads about Ghana? I don’t live in Ghana.

Is the idea that I’m supposed to develop warm feelings towards IBM because they are teaching Africans to program?

What about my life and my problems?

India Will Teach 10-Year-Old Indians How to Steal Americans’ Programming Jobs https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/07/31/india-will-teach-10-year-old-indians-how-to-steal-americans-programming-jobs/ Fri, 31 Jul 2020 00:00:00 +0000

“Learn to code” is much less viable as a career choice if billions of Indians know how to code and are willing to do it for significantly less than the basic costs of living in Western countries.

American companies moving software jobs to India like they’ve moved manufacturing to China would be a particularly nightmarish scenario.

FOSSBYTES:

As per the new education policy approved by the Narendra Modi-led government, students in India will be taught coding as a subject from as early as class 6. Typically, students in the 6th standard are roughly around 10-11 yrs of age. The aim of teaching programming skills in schools is to help them acquire 21st-century skills.

This announcement was made in by Education Ministry officials at a press conference in the presence of Union Minister Prakash Javadekar.

The world is advancing highly in technology, and several job roles today requires coding skills in candidates. So keeping the future in mind, programming skills can ensure a greater exposure to technical knowledge in early stages and help students progress easily if they wish to take up a technical career ahead.

As long as H1-B visas are a thing, Americans doing software development are directly threatened by Indians. Companies often hire these people to work remotely, too. With remote work being the default in America now due to the coronavirus hoax, a lot of companies are going to start crunching the numbers and realize that there isn’t any significant difference in hiring someone who lives down the road and someone who lives on the other side of the planet.

Indians are cheaper than automation, robots and AI, and they feel entitled to America’s wealth.

There’s more than a billion Indians over there, dreaming the American dream.

They’re coming.

Central European PHP Coding Conference Shut Down Because It was White Supremacist (Neo-Nazi) https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/08/29/php-coding-conference-shut-down-because-it-was-white-supremacist-neo-nazi/ Thu, 29 Aug 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

There was an annual PHP conference in Europe called PHP Central Europe Conference (PHP.CE). This year’s event was scheduled to take place in October in Dresden, Germany, but has now been canceled.

In fact, the whole thing is just canceled forever, because Karl L Hughes, a random pervert from Chicago who wasn’t attending the conference, decided to point out that it was all white men in current year.

After the tweet, speakers started pulling out for fear of being associated with a white supremacist agenda, then ticket sales dropped, so the organizers just canceled the entire event.

In the post announcing the cancelation of the event, the organizers cited the tweet from Hughes as well as two of the speakers who pulled out as a result of the social justice agenda.

One of those speakers was Larry Garfield, who is Jewish and pulled out because he didn’t want to be associated with Nazism.

Garfield himself was recently ousted from Drupal for being involved in BDSM (effectively anti-Semitism).

The other was Mark Baker.

Baker claimed he “cannot accept the situation” of only white males speaking at a programming conference in former communist bloc Europe.

Hughes is now out there grandstanding, saying that everyone at a tech conference needs to be the same as the people who use the technology.

The organizers said that they just didn’t even get any submissions from people who are not white males. They did have that Jew. But apparently he wasn’t diverse enough.

Great News

This situation is highly exploitable.

If we’re really already at the point where you simply cannot have an all white male event even in the whitest field in one of the whitest areas of the world, then basically we are in free-for-all territory. We can all now start demanding that everyone who runs everything be a tranny.

This is the reverse of the anti-white snitching that is going on.

Seriously – start doing this:

Look for anything, anywhere that you do not like and start accusing them of being white supremacists for not having enough diversity. Even if they have blacks and women and whatever else, you can start talking about trannys. They almost certainly do not have trannys because there are so few of these people, but it obviously does not matter. They will just have to find a tranny or be shut down.

There were obviously no black or woman PHP coders who wanted to speak at this conference. So the implication is that they have to go out and find the diversity themselves. Well, make everyone find trannys or get shut down.

Then once they start including trannys, start demanding black trannys – “I’m happy to see that [X thing you hate] is finally embracing the trans community, however I was shocked to see that there is no one from the black trans community being represented. It’s [current year] and we can do better.”

Then you can start demanding crippled black trannys, trannys with Down syndrome, and just on and on and on. There is no ceiling on this, until everything in the world is exclusively involving negro trannys with Down syndrome in wheelchairs.

This entire system can be completely jammed by forcing it to uphold its own standards if people so choose. And trannys really are the weak spot, because they are promoting them so aggressively now but there are so few of them and the ones that exist are completely insane and most of them are convicted child molesters.

Dumb Skank Makes Shitty Video Game to Fight “Toxic Masculinity” and “White Heteropatriarchy” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/06/07/dumb-skank-makes-shitty-video-game-to-fight-toxic-masculinity-and-white-heteropatriarchy/ Thu, 07 Jun 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

I’m feeling my White male privilege melting away already.

Whenever I hear about brown women graduating with engineering degrees, it always brings me to a pause. How the hell are these people managing to pass their classes, let alone their theses?

Sure, they get free passes, and they have White men to help them out whenever they have problems. But at some point or other, they have to demonstrate their technical abilities, no?

It’s a good question. Luckily, here we have a case study to better understand the reality of dumb brown skanks somehow getting their hands on a STEM master’s degree.

Campus Reform:

To earn a Master’s degree from Mills College, recent graduate Taylor Sandusky created a “nonviolent dungeon crawler” video game to combat “toxic masculinity.”

The girl in question. In case you’re wondering, it’s the one without fur.

I couldn’t find any screenshots or other information about this game, so I went ahead and downloaded it.

It’s the worst thing I’ve ever had the misfortune of “playing.”

This is how it starts… Ugh.

“Plato’s Evil Closet” is an open-source video game that Sandusky created for a Master’s Thesis in Computer Science, which aims to “use video games to challenge white heteropatriarchy.”

A Master’s Thesis in computer science!

And did she program this thing all by herself? Of course not. It’s a shitty Unity game.

LOW ENERGY.

Unity is a popular game engine that allows developers to make games quickly and with a minimum of programming. All that’s required is to write scripts for the various gameplay elements, but sounds, graphics, physics, controls and so on are handled by the engine and can be tweaked in menus.

In other words, making a basic game in Unity is about as far as you can get from being an advanced computer science project. It could be a child’s first programming project.

In fact, for many, it already is.

This skank’s “game” isn’t even remotely as complex as the stuff shown in the above video. It’s a 2d, turn-based game with no animations or physics.

The graphics are just copy-pasted stock images, edited with less-than-amateur level graphics design skills.

>The scale on dat dirt.

Her freaking main character still has the stock photo text on her head.

This would take less than 30 seconds to fix in Photoshop or Gimp. In fact, let me time how long it takes me:

23 seconds.

Unbelievably low effort here. Or, more likely, incompetence.

A quick look at the scripts shows the same story.

Here’s a definition file for the “hydra” monster above:

There’s a similar file for each monster type. This is stupidly redundant. She’s creating new unique variables for each monster (bigMonsterDamage, bigMonsterAC, and so on) and then setting them up as the default values for the standard monster stats.

She repeats the same thing for each monster. This is obviously stupid. There could have been a single “monster stats” file, and a single piece of code that does this setup.

This is the type of mistake that even amateur coders quickly learn to avoid; the first rule of programming is “don’t repeat yourself.”

If I was hiring junior software developers and saw this game in someone’s portfolio as their most recent work, I definitely would skip that person.

Plato’s Evil Closet, Sandusky explains, is a “challenging non-violent dungeon crawler that stars a queer woman of color and acts as a metaphor for fighting white heteropatriarchy—at its core, a system that privileges whiteness, heterosexuality and masculinity.”

This “non-violent” thing is retarded. For one, it’s absolutely not true that the game is non violent. You deal with the enemies by casting spells at them like “freeze” or “scare.” That’s obviously a form of violence.

I didn’t hurt him, I just, you know, “froze” him solid.

Secondly, it’s just ineffective; the spells only last for a while, and then the enemies are right back to attacking the character. Why not just solve the problem once and for all?

“The dungeon represents white heteropatriarchy, and the various monsters represent aspects of this system,” writes Sandusky, adding that to win, the protagonist must “collect” a “diverse set” of “friends” to escape.

“In order to escape the dungeon, the player needs at least two friends. If they try to exit before meeting this requirement, they are informed that the door is too heavy,” Sandusky reveals. “This is intended to represent the importance of solidarity. One person, or group, cannot escape the dungeon, or patriarchy, without the help of others.”

Spoiler warning: the first “friend” is in the very first room. The game is tiny, with five enemies and a few rooms. It’s something a fourth grader could easily do. In fact, I’ve played games made by children which were much better.

Duke Nukem 3D’s graphics engine was coded by a teenager.

The fact that they granted this skank a freaking Master’s Degree based on this SJW piece of crap really helps explain why there’s these minorities sporting STEM degrees.

If a White man would have presented this “project” as a Master’s Thesis, he would have been laughed out of town. The professor would spit in his face and curse his first born child.

Here’s another Master’s Thesis for comparison:

I don’t understand what any of this means – as it should be.

You’d like to create a new business app? Did you try rebooting your computer?

If you’ve had any dealings with technology in the past decade, you’re sure to have encountered the scourge which has befallen our world: useless curry-munchers employed in tech positions.

The classic example is the tech “support” representative who doesn’t have a clue as to how computers even work, let alone how to get your issues fixed, but will waste hours of your life by going through his support manual like the mindless bugmen that they are.

But if you think the ones hired on H1B visas to replace White engineers are any better, you’d be dead wrong.

These Indians are only good at regurgitating memorized information like robots. They have neither creativity, problem solving abilities or critical thinking skills.

Everyone who’s had the misfortune of working with these dot-head invaders hates them.

Just what you need to improve productivity at your tech company.

Catch News:

For a country that has held becoming an engineer in such high esteem – in homes, movies and even fiction – it should come as a shock that Indian engineers are among the least employable in the world, as a study by employability assessment company Aspiring Minds found.

According to the report, only 4.77% engineers can write the correct logic for a programme.

What shouldn’t make this fact shocking at all is the sheer numbers involved: in all, 6,00,000 engineers being pumped into the economy each year.

Less than 5%!

“Our economy will collapse if we don’t import the brainpower we need from foreign countries.”

These third-world primitives are basically retarded. Who ever thought it was a good idea to import millions of them to work on the most complex systems ever devised by man?

Listen.

I’m not a programmer – much less an engineer. But I can write program logic. It’s not rocket science. You don’t need to be a brain surgeon to write code for a business app.

But then again, we’re talking about people who worship toilets instead of using them.

Two thirds of the participants could not even write code that compiles, the study says. Only 1.4% of the participants could write functionally correct code during the assessment.

If they can’t even compile their code, that means they don’t even understand the most superficial rules of their programming language. Stuff you would learn in the first couple of hours learning it.

Recently, French IT firm Capgemini India’s chief executive officer Srinivas Kandula had questioned the ability of Indian engineers to adapt to the changing technology in the software industry.

“I am not very pessimistic, but it is a challenging task and I tend to believe that 60-65% of them are just not trainable,” Kandula had said.

They’re not trainable, because they have 90 point IQ’s and horrible personalities.

Like, that “engineer” whose code won’t even compile? Woe be to you if you point out that their semicolons and brackets are all wrong and explain how to do it better.

“I do it like it said in the textbook! Don’t tell me what to do! Do you think I’m stupid? It’s the computer that’s wrong!”

All Indians are on the autism spectrum.

Don’t hire them. Don’t bring them on your team.

Just remember this when you hear some Jew telling you that bringing in these dot-heads is essential to the economy.

Sumana Harihareswara is concerned

Few things get SJWs angrier than male nerds contributing to the common good for free. For example, from the Crooked Timber blog for conventionally minded academics:

Where are the women in the history of open source?

by SUMANA HARIHARESWARA on MAY 21, 2015

Hi – Sumana Harihareswara here. You might remember me from my April guest post about free/open source software, licensing, and codes of conduct in open communities. … Today I’m considering where we got frameworks that we free software/open source folks often take for granted, and specifically what might have been erased from our intellectual heritage due to sexism.

What’s missing?

If you ask some people about the history of free software, you hear about Richard Stallman creating the GNU Public License and formulating the Four Freedoms. …

Some people will tell you a bit about Stallman, and then discuss how Eric S. Raymond wrote “The Cathedral and the Bazaar” and articulated more pragmatic language for open source folks to use, and how permissive licenses helped popularize open source. …

But in any case — where the f*** are the women?

Getting paid to program?

I recently started looking back at the narrative I’ve been told about the origins of free and open source software, the male-centric narrative about Richard Stallman and Eric Raymond that I’ve repeated a zillion times as a teacher. I’ve corrected my understanding of my general software engineering heritage to correct for biases, so I’ve reclaimed a heritage that has tons of gender diversity. But what about my open source history? Approximately every field in history has suppressed or hidden contributions by women, so I figure it’s safe to assume that open source philosophy is similar, and proceed on that basis. Whom am I missing?

86086You can do a reality check on the notion that the contributions of women to computer programming were covered up in the past simply by looking up the Pentagon’s massive attempt to impose its Ada language on the programmers of the world. Back in the 1970s’s the Department of Defense wanted to radically reduce the number of programming languages in use by contractors, so it sponsored a new language, which it named after Lord Byron’s daughter. Ada was a huge deal when I took a course in programming in 1980. From Wikipedia (which, granted, is mostly written for free by men):

In May 1979, the Green proposal, designed by Jean Ichbiah at CII Honeywell Bull, was chosen and given the name Ada—after Augusta Ada, Countess of Lovelace. … The Military Standard reference manual was approved on December 10, 1980 (Ada Lovelace’s birthday), and given the number MIL-STD-1815 in honor of Ada Lovelace’s birth year. …

Ada attracted much attention from the programming community as a whole during its early days. Its backers and others predicted that it might become a dominant language for general purpose programming and not just defense-related work. Ichbiah publicly stated that within ten years, only two programming languages would remain, Ada and Lisp. Early Ada compilers struggled to implement the large, complex language, and both compile-time and run-time performance tended to be slow and tools primitive. …

In 1987, the US Department of Defense began to require the use of Ada (the Ada mandate) for every software project where new code was more than 30% of result, though exceptions to this rule were often granted. …

The Department of Defense Ada mandate was effectively removed in 1997, as the DoD began to embrace COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) technology.

You may recall Ada as another costly Pentagon boondoggle, but obviously your memories are poisoned by sexism.

Similarly, if you are of a certain age, you may recall how 1940s programmer Admiral Grace Hopper of COBOL fame was constantly feted in her old age with honors and promotions. Wikipedia lists 29 different honors bestowed upon her from 1969 onward, but that’s lumping together the more than 40 honorary degrees she received. But once again, the Wikipedia list was probably put together by some man for free, so it’s no doubt sexist.
