Distraught villagers staged protests this week against the Boris Johnson government’s plan to dump some 1,500 migrants in a camp in their community of only around 600 adults.

The Priti Patel-led Home Office, which failed to consult or seek permission to install the migrant camp, was met with protest and ridicule on Thursday by the residents of the village of Linton-on-Ouse outside of York in the North of England.

Residents held banners reading “Asylum centre. Wrong plan, wrong place,” the York Press reported.

The government is planning on housing up to 1,500 migrants at the former Royal Air Force (RAF) base in the village, falling in line with previous military installations being converted into migrant camps amid the ever-worsening boat crisis in the English Channel.

Home Office officials were reportedly heckled on Thursday evening during a meeting in the village hall, with one woman telling the government bureaucrats: “Whatever you say, you are not going to give residents any peace of mind.”

Residents went on to express their concern that housing migrants totalling twice the population of the town would radically change their way of life — all without their prior consent.

“I don’t think you are grasping the concept of what you are doing to our community,” one resident said.

“People are upset. 1,500 men are coming to our village of 600 adults. What are you doing to carry out a proper impact assessment?” another questioned.

It was also alleged at the meeting that a police officer had advised women to no longer wear short skirts in public out of safety concerns posed by the male migrants. A police official said that the alleged comments would have been inappropriate for an officer to say.

Another resident claimed that as a result of the government announcing the plans to open up the migrant camp, all house sales have fallen through.

The local noted that villagers would have to seek planning permission to make alterations to their homes, such as building an extension — but the government was able to radically transform the entire community without going through a democratic process.

The spokeswoman for the Linton-on-Ouse Action Group (LoOAG), Dr Olga Matthias, said: “In what now feels like a concerted effort, they have ignored established processes and protocols. The Home Office, which should be at the forefront of the overarching objective of government – to keep its citizens safe – has set out to destroy this community and our way of life.

“With no consultation, no planning permission, and no risk assessments on any front, and despite overwhelming opposition from all sides, they are ploughing ahead with an insane plan to place 1,500 asylum seekers in a rural village.”

Any conviction that was imposed on someone purely due to consensual homosexual activity under now-abolished laws will be included in a scheme aimed at “righting the wrongs of the past”, the UK home secretary is set to announce.

Priti Patel said more people would have convictions for same-sex sexual activity wiped from their records, as she sought to expand the government’s disregards and pardons scheme from a narrow set of laws.

Currently, only nine former offences are included on a specified list that the Home Office said “largely focused on the repealed offences of buggery and gross indecency between men”.

If someone had been convicted of a crime under these now-scrapped laws, they can apply to have it disregarded – wiped from their criminal record and not be required to be disclosed.

But an amendment to the police, crime, sentencing and courts bill will broaden the criteria to include any repealed or abolished civilian or military offence that was imposed on someone purely for, or due to, consensual same-sex sexual activity.

All those whose cautions and convictions are disregarded under the scheme will also receive an automatic pardon, and anyone who has died before the changes came into place – or up to 12 months afterwards – will be posthumously pardoned.

Patel said: “It is only right that where offences have been abolished, convictions for consensual activity between same-sex partners should be disregarded too.

“I hope that expanding the pardons and disregards scheme will go some way to righting the wrongs of the past and to reassuring members of the LGBT community that Britain is one of the safest places in the world to call home.”

She thanked Lord Cashman and Lord Lexden for raising the issue.

At the time, he highlighted how “the offence of solicitation by men, which was used to entrap gay and bisexual men, sometimes for doing nothing more than chatting up another adult man” would not have been included in the original scheme.

Britain’s Border Force is refusing to turn migrant boats back to France in direct opposition to the policy laid out by Home Secretary Priti Patel, as another twenty illegal migrants were brought ashore on Tuesday morning.

In stark contrast to the migrant situation in Poland, where border authorities are currently preventing thousands of Middle Eastern migrants from breaking into their country from Belarus, the UK’s Border Force is continuing to ferry illegals onto British soil.

So far this year, over 21,000 boat migrants have illegally crossed the English Channel from France, many of whom were brought ashore by either the Border Force or the Royal National Lifeboat Institute after setting sail in small rubber boats from the beaches of France.

The crisis in the English Channel has shown no signs of slowing down, as another twenty made the journey on Tuesday morning, the Daily Mail reported.

In October, Home Secretary Priti Patel said that in light of the record numbers of illegal crossings, the government would finally adopt a “turn back the boats” approach and send boat migrants back to France, which as a safe and wealthy EU member state should be where the migrants claim asylum.

The Border Force, which has been accused of actually travelling into French territorial waters to pick up migrants and bring them back to Britian, has so far rejected the plan, citing concerns about weather conditions and the size of the boats being intercepted in the Channel.

Over the weekend, a Border Force officer told The Times: “There is fairly universal agreement that this is not likely to ever happen.

“The captains of the cutters have control of the process and in practice, if they’re not willing to use it, it will never happen.

“We will not be easily pushed about by Priti Patel. But ultimately it’s a decision for the captain and nothing can override the right to captain their vessel.”

The turn back the boats tactic involves three Border Force jet skis nudging migrant boats around and directing them back to France. Safety protocols mandate that the measure is only deployed in a certain section of the English Channel which is 1.8 miles wide.

The commander of the operation would only be able to initiate the tactic if there is confirmation that either the French Navy or a rescue ship is in the vicinity in order to safely escort the migrants back.

Other safety limits, including assesment of weather and sea conditions, the size of the migrant boat, and whether the illegals have lifejackets on, must also before being the tactic being implemented.

Yet the head of the pro-migrant charity Channel Rescue Kim Bryan critisised the proposaled pushback, warning of potentially “horrific” consequences.

“These boats are incredibly flimsy. Just the wash from jet-skis going around them in the first place could cause them to capsize. What we will be seeing, then, if this starts happening, is tragedy. The consequences are going to be horrific,” she said.

Despite promises from the supposedly Conservative government of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, which promised to take back control of Britain’s borders after leaving the European Union, the government has so far failed to stem the tide of illegal crossings of the English Channel, with both 2020 this year setting record numbers.

Last week also saw the largest single-day total, with a record 853 migrants crossing on Wednesday.

In an op-ed about the new plan, the Afghan Citizens’ Resettlement Scheme, Home Secretary Priti Patel said the effort would mirror the UK’s relocation of Syrian refugees in years past, adding that it would come in addition to a separate initiative to “bring Afghan nationals into the country who have supported the UK Government in Afghanistan.”

Patel said that under the latter scheme, around 2,000 former Afghan staff and their families had been resettled in the UK, with more set to come. However, the home secretary also insisted London “cannot do this alone,” calling on other nations to follow suit and open their doors to refugees.

“Our international engagement is significant – the Prime Minister has spoken to international partners including the German chancellor, the French president and the secretaries general of NATO and the UN,” she wrote, saying she had also led discussions with the UK’s Five Eyes intelligence partners, which includes the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Although frankly, as soon as the airport circus closes, I’m not really sure what incentive the Taliban has to let anyone leave. They’ve already given amnesty to anyone who didn’t do something utterly egregious in support of the occupation. Allowing people to leave and then send back messages of how great it is in the West doesn’t seem like something that really fits very well into their program.

The airport is still open right now, and still filled with the foaming scum of the country trying to flee, but when that closes down, I think what’s done could well be done.

Men who harass women from cars should face criminal charges, a cross-party group of MPs has urged, as the government comes under mounting pressure to criminalise sexual harassment.

Labour’s Harriet Harman and Caroline Nokes, the Conservative chair of the women and equalities select committee, have formed a cross-party alliance to push the government to beef up anti-misogyny measures via amendments in the police, crime, sentencing and courts bill.

“It makes absolutely no sense that kerb crawling is an offence if its aim is to solicit prostitution, but kerb crawling a schoolgirl to shout sexualised abuse at her is not – the law needs to be changed,” said Harman.

Harman, Nokes and others including the Conservatives Peter Bottomley and Andrew Mitchell, and the Green party MP, Caroline Lucas, are also calling for street harassment to be criminalised and for stricter controls over the use of the sexual history of complainants in rape trials.

Nokes said that when she had first discussed the idea of criminalising sexual harassment on a radio show, she received some negative feedback.

“People were basically saying to me, oh come on love, get a grip,” she said. “But when I spoke to women, they were living with this on a daily basis. Sexual harassment, catcalling, is rife, it’s unwanted, in some cases, it can be downright intimidating and scary. And it is absolutely no way for any kind of civilised society to conduct itself.”

Earlier in the year the home secretary, Priti Patel, met the organisers of Our Streets Now, a campaign group set up by sisters Gemma, 16, and Maya Tutton, 22. With the charity Plan International UK they launched a campaign called #CrimeNotCompliment and created a “ready-made bill” to tackle the issue.

Rose Caldwell, the charity’s chief executive, said a standalone law criminalising all forms of public sexual harassment was necessary. “Girls in the UK are facing harassment every day. They’re being followed, shouted at, touched and groped – and it needs to stop,” she said. “With this legal change girls and women would finally begin to feel safer in public spaces.’

In March a poll by UN Women UK found more than four-fifths of young women in the UK had been subjected to sexual harassment, and most women had lost faith that the abuse would be dealt with.

The women’s rights campaigner Nimco Ali said the fact that street sexual harassment was still legal was “bizarre”. “We ban littering, we ban smoking in public areas – now, let’s ban the behaviour of men who can’t act civilly,” she said. “I don’t think people are conscious of how it corrodes women’s experience on a day-to-day basis. Making it a crime would be a massive step forward.”

When James Landale, the BBC diplomatic correspondent, first reported concerns about Ms Patel’s meetings last Thursday night — the night of the main Balfour centenary dinner — it was said that she had broken away from a family holiday in Israel to conduct the meetings, accompanied by Lord Polak.

The peer told the BBC last week the pair had “met up for one or two things” while being on holiday at the same time. “I just joined her for a couple of days, some drinks, some dinner, that kind of thing,” he said.

It also emerged that Ms Patel had suggested Britain should give aid to the Israeli military to help fund a relief effort for Syrian refugees in the Golan Heights and that she had allegedly visited a relief unit there, although that claim was unconfirmed. Britain does not recognise Israel’s presence in the Golan.

On Wednesday the JC revealed that Number 10 had instructed Ms Patel not to include a further meeting with Mr Rotem — in New York on September 18 for the UN General Assembly — on the list published on Monday.

Two sources told the newspaper that she had disclosed the meeting earlier in the week but was told by Number 10 not to include it as it would embarrass the Foreign Office. After the JC published the story on its website, a third source confirmed this version of events.

In addition, according to the sources, Mrs May spoke to Ms Patel in advance of the UN General Assembly and they discussed her meeting with Mr Netanyahu and details of the plan for UK aid to be shared with the Israelis. Mrs May agreed that the idea was sensible but needed to be signed off by the Foreign Office.

After widespread coverage of the JC’s story, Downing Street rejected the version of events as “not true” and insisted that Mrs May only knew of the Netanyahu meeting last Friday.

I strongly suspect that May did know about the meeting. Clearly, this sort of thing is routine with the Jews – they meet you in secret to discuss transfers of your population’s money to them in exchange for… for nothing at all, as a matter of fact.

Someone else is probably going to come out and confirm that May knew, and she will be forced to resign, as along with knowing about a clandestine meeting with Jews – which certainly would be considered espionage if it was done with Russia or any other state – she lied about knowing about it.

I’m no sure how this will affect views of the Jews. I’m glad that people are looking at it right now. People aren’t even aware that huge amounts of money are transferred every year to Israel, which is a country with normal first world living standards, let alone that the transfer of this money is arranged through secret backroom meetings. So the exposure is good.

However, if this does end up collapsing Brexit – something that the EU is looking forward to – it will be a net-win for the Jews and their internationalist globalist agenda.

EU figures are believed to be considering a range of options as Prime Minister May struggles to keep her government under control, including a chaotic “no deal” Brexit and the result of last year’s referendum being reversed.

The European leader quoted by the Times appeared to leave the door open to Brexit being reversed, remarking: “The referendum decision was very close.”

It seems clear that this is a Jewish plot to undermine Brexit.

A seriously ill teenager from Pakistan being treated free of charge on the NHS has launched a legal appeal to stay in Britain.

The 17-year-old and his mother argue that forcing them to return home to poorer medical care amounts to “inhuman treatment” and breaches his human rights.

If he wins the battle, not only will UK taxpayers have to foot his huge hospital bill, but the NHS may be forced to open its doors to sickly youngsters from around the world.

Last night Tory MP Priti Patel called it “an appalling case of health tourism”, adding that Government reforms in the Immigration Bill would stop “such abuses of our public services”.

Fellow Tory MP Douglas Carswell said: “It would be inhuman not to have enormous sympathy with this young man and his condition. But if we can’t get this sorted our National Health Service will become an International Health Service, and that is unsustainable.”

Yesterday two immigration judges at the Upper Tier Tribunal were told the teenager, identified only as MQ, has a potentially fatal blood disorder which stunts his growth.

The youth, who has the build of a boy of 10 because of his condition, arrived on a tourist visa in 2012 and almost immediately sought medical care.

MQ’s mother, who has a husband and another son in Pakistan, denied bringing him to the UK for treatment – even though her asylum application appeared to show otherwise. She claimed to have been visiting her sister when she took her son to a specialist and then the Whittington Hospital in north London.

The Unite union is offering to teach unemployed Romanians and Bulgarians how to claim benefits in Britain.

The organisation, Labour’s biggest donor, is courting foreigners from the two countries as part of a membership drive.

It offers the advice as a reward for signing up to the union.

It has even issued membership forms in Romanian and Bulgarian, despite the Government – and Labour – saying immigrants should learn English.

The unemployed are offered the chance to join the union for just 50p a week. In return, Unite says it will offer new arrivals with advice on how to maximise benefit claims.

The decision to target Romanians and Bulgarians is sure to be controversial, given public concern about the lifting of immigration controls on the two new EU countries at the end of this month.

Ministers have refused to estimate how many immigrants will arrive from the two impoverished countries – but some experts believe it could run to hundreds of thousands in the coming years.

Tory MP Priti Patel called Unite’s behaviour shameless, adding: ‘It is incredibly irresponsible and I’m afraid it just sums up the attitude of Labour and the trade unions towards EU immigration.

‘Labour is the party that opened the floodgates to EU immigration with its open borders policy.

Now their allies in the union movement are basically encouraging people to come here, and offering them advice on how to exploit our benefits system when they arrive. It gives the lie to the idea that Labour is finally getting serious about immigration.’
