Wait, are we back to “healthy at any size”?

I thought that was killing people so they stopped it.

But maybe this is more about… helping black men enjoy themselves?

The Guardian:

Fat Beach Day events are springing up across the US in an effort to fight back against fat-phobia, reclaim safe spaces for the community and honor plus-size culture. Today, one of these celebrations is being held to coincide with Pride month at Jacob Riis Beach in New York, a location deeply ensconced in the city’s activism space.

“We’re going through something culturally that is impacting us every day on an individual level and a systemic level,” said Jordan Underwood, the event organizer. “We’re really trying to open up a space for people to be themselves.”

Underwood, a plus-size model, artist and activist, described being bullied for their weight as far back as middle school. Consistent hate, cruelty and harmful rhetoric from fellow students led to them setting up a blog at 12 years old, which became a place where they documented their experiences and made sense of what they were going through. In many ways, this marked the beginning of their journey into what they denote as “fat activism”.

Jordan Underwood

Now, they organize events throughout New York City and work with Berriez, a vintage store “curated for curves” based in Brooklyn, to organize Fat Beach Day.

There may be rain, but the pair aren’t bothered. The day – featuring food, drinks and free sunscreen from Vacation – is something they’ve been looking forward to and planning for months.

“I’m so self-conscious at the beach, and I’m never around people that look like me,” said Emma Zack, who started Berriez in 2018. “I’m so excited we’ve created this space for other folks with bigger bodies to have a good time.”

In an era in which weight-loss drugs like Ozempic are deeply ingrained in mainstream diet culture, and thinness is resurgent as the ideal beauty standard, events like Fat Beach Day are becoming powerful tools in the fight against these norms. They have become not just events but calls to action – public stands against the societal pressures to conform to these shifting criteria.

…

For the next few months, like-minded communities across the US have planned other Fat Beach Days. A Fat Friends Pool Party is taking place in Chicago on 13 July. There will also be a Bellies Out Beach Day in Los Angeles in a few weeks.

It’s funny, because every bad thing is happening.

If there’s something bad that you can think of but you’ve never heard of it happening, you can search it on the internet and find that it actually is happening.

Abyie Polden, 24

The fact that we have a free market ruled by the laws of supply and demand means that this female individual of the Human Race was chosen as a paragon of beauty by an overwhelmingly enthusiastic chunk of the population that just so happens to be morbidly obese too.

Daily Mail:

An 18st woman told she ‘shouldn’t be able to reproduce’ because of her weight has hit back at trolls by posing naked on social media – landing a modelling gig in the process.

Abyie Polden, 24, from Telford, Shropshire, was 15 when she was diagnosed with lipoedema – an abnormal build-up of fat cells in the legs, thighs, buttocks and arms.

Desperately self-conscious, she spent years hiding her larger frame, cropping the photos she posted online so that she was only visible from the shoulders up.

Men who don’t appreciate her kind of beauty are just unable to handle a woman of her caliber.

If you can’t pick her up to throw her into your bed, you just don’t deserve her and you must hit the gym until you’re strong enough — and man enough — to handle her.

Then, buoyed by the body positivity movement, the customer service adviser, had an ‘epiphany’ and, in summer 2018, decided to bare all on Instagram, uploading a candid photo of herself holding a sign saying, ‘My body, my rules.’

The powerful snap saw her follower count “blow up” overnight – though amongst the positive responses were cruel comments, asking how her fiancé, warehouse operator Jack Gooch, 27, ‘survives without being squashed.’

Now, she is using her platform to fight the stigma surrounding plus size women, and models for plus-size brands Pink Clove and Unique 21.

No amount of obese models will change the fact that the “stigma” is biological.

Obesity just isn’t healthy, and things so blatantly unhealthy are blatantly unattractive.

Even if all people everywhere suddenly start viewing obese women as beautiful angelical beings, obese women will continue to be unhealthy emotional messes facing an early death.

They are walking signs warning of crooked personalities, weak willpower, hormonal problems, and more.

Growing up, Abyie always felt she stood out because of her larger frame.

By the time she started secondary school aged 11, she was noticeably bigger than her classmates, especially around her thighs.

Explaining how her size made her a target for bullies, she said: “Of course I wasn’t the only one that noticed – the rest of the school did too.

‘One name that always stood out was ‘Flabby Abby‘ – it particularly hurt.

‘Boys would pretend to ask me out on a date, and if I’d accept, they’d turn around and say, “Only joking – you’re too fat.”‘

Desperate to slim down, Abyie tried several ‘fad diets’ in her teens – but nothing seemed to work.

Then, aged 15, she decided to broach the topic with her doctor during an appointment regarding an unrelated skin problem, and was shocked to be diagnosed with lipoedema.

According to the NHS, the condition usually only affects women, and sees areas of the body becoming enlarged, as well as bruising easily and feeling painful and tender.

Some sufferers – like Abyie – are also prone to fluid retention in their legs.

‘I was actually visiting the GP about eczema, but part of me just knew there had to be more to my weight gain,’ she recalled.

“He asked about my diet, took a look at my legs and said I had a condition called lipoedema.

‘Obviously it came as a shock, but in a way it gave me a feeling of validation.

‘When you’re bullied over your weight it’s so easy to think it’s your fault – that you shouldn’t have eaten that doughnut. But once I knew why, it felt like a sense of responsibility I’d had was lifted.’

Of course nothing seemed to work! She just magically materializes fat without ingesting calories.

Kind of like a car that runs out of gas but just keeps on running, forever.

People should be studying her to reveal the secrets of infinite energy, not shaming her!

From there, Abyie, who was warned by doctors that her condition could progress, was taught self-management techniques, like therapeutic massage, to help naturally drain fluid from her legs.

She also ditched her cycle of yo-yo dieting, and followed a healthy, balanced eating regime instead.

‘It’s hard because there is no cure for the condition so in a way you feel helpless,’ she continued. ‘But I started to treat myself better, eating a healthy, well-balanced diet instead of the latest crash diet.’

Yeah, no.

No one following a “healthy, balanced eating regime” would continue to be that fat.

Overweight creatures just can’t be trusted. They can’t be expected to be honest about what they eat.

Although she believes that scrolling through heavily filtered Instagram posts skewed her idea of what beauty standards should be, it was on the same photo sharing site that she first came across the body positivity movement.

…

In February 2019, Abyie was contacted by fashion brand Pink Clove to showcase a handful of their outfits.

Jumping at the chance, she agreed, and now regularly models for their Instagram page, as well as for the brand Unique 21.

Next, she hopes to get involved with some more ‘mainstream’ brands, such as Boohoo and River Island.

She concluded: ‘It’s so great being a part of the shift in how woman and their bodies are perceived – especially by big brands.

‘I’m so glad that I decided to embrace my figure and to show other girls out there that they can be beautiful, and in a social media age they’re still accepted.’

The obese are changing what it means to be beautiful.

Once enough people agree with obese women about how beautiful fat rolls are, men will start having strong erections at the sight of lipedema.

Yikes: Victoria’s Secret Uses Plus-Size Model for the First Time Ever After Diversity Backlash https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/10/09/yikes-victorias-secret-uses-plus-size-model-for-the-first-time-ever-after-diversity-backlash/ Wed, 09 Oct 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

Wait. No. That was Gillette.

This is the Victoria’s Secret one:

Look at her smug fat woman-face in the above picture, pointing out how fat women and trannies have conquered slim territory.

Look at her here:

Look at her fat rolls.

Truly a disgusting sight.

Daily Mail:

Victoria’s Secret is featuring a size 14 woman in an ad campaign for the first time in history, though it was the model and not the lingerie giant who announced the news.

The company is working with plus-size model Ali Tate Cutler as part of its new partnership with London-based lingerie brand Bluebella, which comes after years of backlash over its lack of diversity and more recently, merciless comparisons to Rihanna’s inclusive Savage x Fenty show.

News of Victoria’s Secret’s collaboration with Bluebella — which uses a mix of plus-size and straight-size models in its campaigns — broke last week, but it was Cutler who revealed that she is the brand’s first size 14 model.

While attending the launch of the partnership at Victoria’s Secret’s flagship store in New York City last Friday, the model took to Instagram to relish in the historic moment by sharing a photo of herself showing off her curves in a black lace teddy in one of the campaign images.

‘I believe I’m the first size 14 on @victoriassecret?’ she wrote. ‘Regardless I’m pretty stoked to work with a brand I idolized when I was a teen. Great step in the right direction for bodies.’

That’s actually a terrible step for bodies, health, and beauty.

There must be zero tolerance for fat women. If you show even the tiniest glimpse of fat acceptance, they’ll balloon into Saturn-sized spheres and demand you find them beautiful.

It’s what’s been happening in America.

People have grown used to fat and started to tolerate fat, and now everyone’s looking like a new species.

In an interview with E! News, Cutler explained that while she is not the first plus-size model to work with the brand, she is the first size 14 model to do so.

‘Size 14 is actually the average size of women in America and I do think that we need to see more of it in media and fashion because most women are that size. So, we need to be accurately represented in brands and media,’ she said.

Wait… is… is that the reason why computer and smartphones screens have been getting wider and wider?

It all makes sense now. Wider screens are needed to display these more accurate representations of the average woman.

‘For Victoria’s Secret I am so excited that they decided to put a size 14 women like me on the wall,’ she added. ‘I feel like they are headed in the right direction and they are listening to their audience who have requested to see more women of diverse shapes and sizes.

‘I think if they continue to head in that direction they will be on to a jackpot because that is reflective of what the average woman is in America.’

The Victoria’s Secret audience wants fat chicks?

That is quite a policy change.

While Cutler is part of the Victoria’s Secret X Bluebella campaign, she was brought in by Bluebella and hasn’t been officially hired to model for Victoria’s Secret.

In a press release that Victoria’s Secret shared last week to announce the collaboration, it was noted that Bluebella stands for ‘self-love, self-acceptance and championing individuality.’

Bluebella for Victoria’s Secret includes an array of lingerie, sleepwear, and hosiery featuring luxe details, including velvet, satin, and embroidered lace.

The line launched at select Victoria’s Secret stores in the US last week, and it will be available at select stores in the UK starting on Friday, October 11.

Victoria’s Secret’s new partnership is its latest attempt to revive its ailing company, which has faced stiff competition from newer lingerie brands with more inclusive marketing strategies aimed at women of all shapes, sizes, and skin tones.

It’s not really competition that is the problem. The problem is that women are getting bigger every day — which means that human-sized women, the previous target of Victoria’s Secret, are an endangered species on the brink of extinction.

You can’t really blame Victoria’s Secret for trying to stay relevant in a world of obese monstrosities.

The fat bitch they added actually represents the “unattainable ideal” for most women.

Our society is beauty-deprived — it doesn’t even know what true beauty is!

It’s time to remind ourselves what something truly beautiful looks like.

If you don’t see the beauty in that beautiful avatar of pure, unaltered beauty, then you’ve been so deprived of beauty throughout all of your life that you’ve lost the ability to recognize it, and you no longer know what a true paragon of beauty looks like.

It’s not your fault though — it’s society’s fault, and Tess Holliday is here to correct all wrongs.

Daily Mail:

Tess Holliday made a statement in a white cut-out gown as she stormed the runway during New York Fashion Week on Saturday.

The plus-sized model, 34, oozed confidence in the striking dress – which was emblazoned with the phrase ‘sample size’ – as she walked the catwalk for Chromat’s Spring/Summer 2020 show at Gallery I at Spring Studios.

The creative ensemble, which featured a daring cut out across the chest, appeared to be a response to recent controversies surrounding ‘child size’ sample size dresses.

…

Tess herself is unapologetically confident when it comes her body, and regularly takes to her Instagram account to relay messages of body positivity to her followers.

She frequently uploads scantily-clad pictures with inspiring captions, and has previously slammed lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret for ‘only caring about marginalised groups.’

Earlier this year, Tess hit back at her critics who insisted plus-size people can’t be in shape, revealing that she drives more than two hours a day to work out with her trainer three times a week.

Taking to Instagram she wrote: ‘I drive over 2 hours to train with @massy.arias 3x a week. That’s commitment. So don’t tell me what folks in bigger bodies aren’t capable of, because we will prove you wrong ever time.’

Tess Holliday is definitely in shape, but in the shape of what exactly is a topic for another moment.

The idea that the obese can be healthy, fit, “in shape” or “capable” is preposterous. One look at them should be enough to realize that, but somehow we have to pretend that they have a right to visually offend everyone they cross paths with.

Daily Mail, August 15, 2017:

Being ‘fat but fit’ is a myth, doctors have warned.

People who are overweight are at increased risk of having a heart attack, no matter how healthy they are.

A major study of more than half a million people across Europe found those who were overweight or obese had up to a 28 per cent higher risk of developing coronary heart disease – where arteries in the heart become clogged leading to heart attacks or heart failure.

Overweight people were at higher risk even if they had healthy blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

The latest findings contradict previous smaller studies which suggested some overweight people could be healthy if they suffered none of the negative effects usually connected to weight gain, such as high blood pressure.

These monsters should be either harassed into starvation or encouraged to eat more and more until they’re no longer able to leave their homes. Anything that keeps them out of sight is okay.

Daily Mail, June 14, 2019:

After decades of research showing the impossibly close link between obesity and heart problems, a Swedish study has finally proven what we’ve long suspected: Excess weight does cause heart disease.

Obesity alone – without other risk factors like high cholesterol, inactivity and diabetes – raises a person’s risks of heart disease by nearly a third, previous research has shown.

At last, the Karolinska Institute researchers used a method called Mendelian randomization prove that high BMI is a direct cause of heart disease.

Pretending the deformed are just as human as you are will only end in deformity spreading.

Tolerance levels everything down. It makes everything and everyone uglier and dumber.

Daily Mail, July 12, 2016:

Fat people are less intelligent than people with a normal weight, a provocative study claims.

Overweight men and women have less grey and white matter in key areas of the brain.

They also have greater impulsivity and ‘altered reward processing’, the study said.

The researchers said that their findings could explain why overweight people make poor diet choices – they do not have the mental capacity to control themselves.

Instead of accepting and glorifying deformed retards, we should be lining them up and throwing them off of cliffs.

Literally every conversation about accepting obesity and about how “fat is beautiful” is actually about protecting the feelings of these deformed retards.

Normal people contorting themselves so mutants can feel more comfy out in the open leads to the destruction of civilization.

It is pure degeneracy.
