The French empire appears to be fully collapsing.

It was gay and retarded and I don’t think anyone is going to miss it.

Le Monde:

Pro-independence activists in riot-hit New Caledonia refused Monday, May 20, to abandon roadblocks that have paralyzed much of the Pacific archipelago and halted commercial air traffic, defying a major security operation by French forces. France has sent 1,000 armed police, troops, and national security reinforcements to its overseas territory, a popular holiday destination rocked by seven nights of violence that have left six dead and hundreds injured.

New Caledonia, with a population of about 270,000, has been convulsed since May 13 by the unrest, sparked by French plans to impose new rules that would update the local electoral register to give tens of thousands of newer residents the right to vote.

Some 600 heavily armed French police have “neutralized” 76 roadblocks on the 60-kilometer route between the capital Nouméa and La Tontouta International Airport, officials said. The airport remains closed to all commercial flights.

Hailing Sunday’s operation as a “success,” the French high commission in New Caledonia said forces would remove burned-out vehicles littering the key route for essential food and material supplies. Pro-independence, largely Indigenous Kanak activists, said they would not release their chokehold.

…

Indigenous Kanaks make up about 40% of the population but tend to be poorer and have fewer years of schooling than European Caledonians. Kanak groups say the latest voting regulations would dilute the Indigenous vote.

The presidents the local governments of four other French overseas territories – La Réunion in the Indian Ocean, Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean and French Guiana in South America – on Sunday called for the withdrawal of the voting reform in an open letter.

Civil liberties groups have challenged a local TikTok ban, with an emergency hearing scheduled at France’s top administrative court in Paris for Tuesday.

It’s funny how it’s always TikTok that’s the threat, no?

It’s almost like the Chinese actually allow freedom of speech, while these American companies socially engineer whatever outcome they want in every country they are allowed to operate.

Diversity is New Caledonia’s greatest strength

US Starts New War Machine Organization in the Pacific https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/06/25/us-starts-new-war-machine-organization-in-the-pacific/ Sat, 25 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Why aren’t people upset about the US going all around the world starting all these wars?

RT:

The US, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the UK have formed a new group to boost economic and security ties with Pacific island nations.

In a joint statement on Friday, the members said the informal alliance, dubbed Partners in the Blue Pacific (PBP), was aimed at increasing the effectiveness of their ongoing efforts “to support prosperity, resilience, and security” in the region.

The group will operate “according to principles of Pacific regionalism, sovereignty, transparency, accountability, and most of all, [will be] led and guided by the Pacific islands,” the statement read.

PBP’s core goals also include the expansion of opportunities for cooperation between the Pacific island nations and the rest of the world, it added.

The alliance was needed because the region is facing “most urgent challenges,” including the climate crisis, Covid-19, and “growing pressure on the rules-based free and open international order.”

I’m so tired of being oppressed by this rules-based free and open international order.

We’re all tired of it.

We just want to be left alone, Jews.

Just leave people alone.

Everyone is just trying to chill.

Pacific Ocean Water So Acidic It’s LITERALLY Melting Our Crabs – LITERALLY https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/01/30/pacific-ocean-water-so-acidic-its-literally-melting-our-crabs-literally/ Thu, 30 Jan 2020 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

This man was just splashed with water from the Pacific Ocean. Seriously.

Climate change is at it again.

This time, the climate has changed to the point where the Pacific Ocean is now a giant vat of acid, ready to melt the flesh from people’s bones.

Don’t think this is possible? Think again. On Venus, it’s literally raining sulfuric acid.

Experts believe Venus’ climate is like this because Venusians didn’t have Jews and small children telling them to watch their carbon emissions.

So it’s totally believable, nay, likely, that the ocean is now acidic.

CNN:

The Pacific Ocean is becoming more acidic, and the cash-crabs that live in its coastal waters are some of its first inhabitants to feel its effects.

The Dungeness crab is vital to commercial fisheries in the Pacific Northwest, but lower pH levels in its habitat are dissolving parts of its shell and damaging its sensory organs, a new study found.

The ocean is dissolving crabs, folks. Better stay away from the water from now on.

This guy thought he’d go surfing. Got melted right up.

How will the climate change next?

Their injuries could impact coastal economies and forebode the obstacles in a changing sea. And while the results aren’t unexpected, the study’s authors said the damage to the crabs is premature: The acidity wasn’t predicted to damage the crabs this quickly.

“If the crabs are affected already, we really need to make sure we pay much more attention to various components of the food chain before it is too late,” said study lead author Nina Bednarsek, a senior scientist with the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project.

The findings were published this month in the journal Science of the Total Environment and funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The agency studies ocean acidification and how changing pH levels are impacting coasts.

The ocean is acidifying because it’s absorbing more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which lowers pH levels in the water.

Ocean acidification changes the coasts, releasing excess nutrient that can create algae blooms and increasing sea temperatures and salinity, according to NOAA.

But for crustaceans and coral that rely on carbonate ions, which are less abundant in more acidic waters, to build their shells and coral skeletons, it becomes more difficult to build strong shells.

It’s not just crabs, either: Oysters, clams and plankton all rely on the same carbonate ions to strengthen themselves. And humans and sea creatures alike rely on them — some for food, others for economic security.

Oh.

The water isn’t literally dissolving the adult crab’s shells. The shells are just becoming weaker because the nutrients they need are becoming more scarce.

The acidification corroded the young shells of Dungeness crab larvae, which could impair their ability to deter predators and regulate their buoyancy in the water, the researchers said.

The crab larvae that showed signs that their shells were dissolving were smaller than the other larvae, too. This could cause developmental delays that could mess with their rate of maturation.

The tiny hair-like structures crabs use to navigate their environments were damaged by the low pH levels, too — something scientists had never seen before. Crabs without these mechanoreceptors could move more slowly and have difficulty swimming and searching for food.

So the crabs getting literally burned are just larvae, and it’s not even mortal injuries being discussed.

Moreover, this is only some parts of the coast lines. And while the crabs and other shelled animals are suffering, the plants are thriving because of the increase in available nutrients.

So who even knows if this is a good thing or a bad thing in the long run.

Ultimately, the earth’s conditions are constantly changing, and the various ecosystems and their respective lifeforms just have to adapt to it, like they’ve done for millions of years. Whatever climate change is going on now pales in comparison to the non-stop volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, meteor strikes and comet impacts, magnetic pole shifts, successive ice ages and so on that have been happening since the beginning of time.

And all the life forms that exist today have successfully survived through all these climate changes, including humanity.

Crabs have existed for 200 million years. I think they’ll survive a slight decrease in the ocean’s PH levels.

New Zealand Has More Gang Members Than Soldiers https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/02/16/new-zealand-has-more-gang-members-than-soldiers/ Fri, 16 Feb 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Spartacus

New Zealand was much less lucky than America on the native front.

The Economist:

FOR a quiet country, New Zealand has a peculiar problem with gangs. It is reckoned to have one of the highest membership rates in the world. In a population of 4.7m, police count over 5,300 mobsters or “prospects” who are angling to join. Cumulatively, that makes the groups larger than the army. Bikers like the Hells Angels and posses from Australia are among its 25 recognised groups, but two Maori crews dominate: Black Power and the Mongrel Mob. They are remarkable for their subcultures as much as for their size. Members signal their allegiance by sewing patches onto leather jackets or branding themselves with dense tattoos. A closed fist marks Black Power, which took its name from the American civil-rights movement, and a British bulldog signals the Mongrels. In all, Maori people make up three-quarters of the country’s gangsters.

So basically, they have  a bunch of gooks with some part-gooks running around with Swastikas on them.

And those gooks fight another bunch of gooks who call themselves “Black Power” despite not having any niggers in their gang and surely hating niggers if they ever actually met them.

And the British people who came to these islands thought it was a good idea to not wipe them off the face of the fucking planet?

Why?

They have dominated the gang world since the 1970s, when many had moved to the cities where they endured discrimination and ended up in poverty because of difficulties finding work. Opportunities have improved since, but life is often harder for indigenous people than for other New Zealanders. They do worse in school, suffer poorer health and die younger.

Yeah, I’m sure that’s what happened.

Pacific Islanders average an IQ of around 85 (same as the niggers in America) but the Maori in New Zealand have a lot of White blood in them, so they’re around 90.

But that has nothing to do with them being poor, since it’s all because of discrimination and stuff.

Some turn to the gangs in search of power or oblivion. Some become members in jail, forced to join a crew simply to protect themselves. Others seek something more positive: whanau, or community. Many recruits join simply because their fathers are members. The gangs, they say, are like a family.

How touching…

Today much of the gangs’ criminal activities relate to drugs. Corrections officers say that foreign syndicates use the biker groups to distribute methamphetamines. Gang members account for over 14% of the charges of conspiracy to deal methamphetamines, and of murder, laid in New Zealand. They fill about a third of prison cells. This partly explains why over half of all the nation’s inmates are Maori, although they make up only 15% of the population.

The part that explains why they’re in gangs to begin with will remain a complete mystery till the end of time.

At least to the guy who wrote this article.

The popularity of methamptamines within the gangs has also undermined them. A handful of leaders have banned the drug’s consumption after witnessing the damages its has wrought on their communities. Some have attempted to clean up their branches in other ways.

The groups used to have horrific reputations for gang rape, but Black Power now prohibits it, and has also moved to reduce domestic violence more generally.Female associates of that group and of the Mongrel Mob report that their lives are much improved.

Wow… They sound like the most cucked criminals I’ve ever heard of.

But while reform-minded members of the more established groups are maturing, a younger set of L.A.-style street gangs is rising in New Zealand, many of them Maori and Polynesian. Their bling-obsessed teenage recruits are violent and unpredictable—and are quickly filling up the prisons.

What did I tell you?

Why?

What’s the argument here?
