Barack Obama this week said that “defund the police” is bad optics.

You can see that in the above clip, but I don’t recommend watching it, because it could cause your mind to collapse. This is apparently the how they’re formatting interviews to appeal to the TikTok generation now. I ultimately had to turn it off because of the swipe noise, but that was after the jump cuts and zooming in and out made me vomit in my mouth.

Here’s what he said:

It’s interesting. We take for granted that if you want people to buy your sneakers, that you’re gonna market it to your audience. If a musician drops a record, they’re gonna try to reach certain audiences, speaking to folks where they are. It’s no different in terms of ideas.

If you believe, as I do, that we should be able to reform the criminal justice system so that it’s not biased, and treats errybody fairly, I guess you can use a snappy slogan like “defund the police,” but you know you’ve lost a big audience the minute you say it, which makes it a lot less likely you’re going to get the changes you want done.

But if you instead say “let’s reform the police department, so that everybody’s treated fairly,” you know, “divert young people from gettin’ into crime, and if there’s a homeless guy, can maybe we send a mental health worker there instead an armed unit that could end up resulting in a tragedy?” Suddenly, a bunch of folks who might not otherwise listen to you are listening to you.

So the question is: do you want to actually get something done? Or do you want to feel good among the people you already agree with? And if you want to get something done in a democracy, in a country as big and diverse as ours, then you’ve gotta be able to meet people where they are, and play a game of addition and not subtraction.

As anyone who has ever read anything about politics is aware, this is the single most basic principle of politics. I agree with it, 100%.

This is the definition of “political optics”:

“Presenting your message in a way that maximizes your appeal to your target audience.”

It’s very simple, and I’ve broken my neck trying to explain this to idiot right-wingers, despite the fact that it is literally the single most basic element of politics.

However, there are other dynamics at work here.

What Obama obviously isn’t acknowledging is that there is also a good cop/bad cop dynamic. He can’t acknowledge that, because it’s vaguely a secret, and he’s playing the good cop.

Basically, you want to have radicals demanding more than you actually are trying to achieve. That is how the Overton Window moves.

What you do is send people out there with an extreme and radical message, such as “get rid of the police completely,” and then force people to become accustomed to the fact that there are people who believe this should happen. Once people understand that there are people who believe this should happen, the center moves in that direction.

Then, someone like Obama moves in and says, “well, we don’t actually want to completely abolish the police, we just want to stop punishing black people who commit crimes, most of the time, and we want to legalize heroin.”

Then, doing this thing Obama is saying, which previously would have been unfathomable, all of a sudden sounds normal in comparison to what The Squad is saying.

I personally engaged in this behavior for a long time on this website. In fact, it was the entire purpose of this website when it was founded. I said: “I will take the most extreme right-wing position on every issue, and that will change the political climate.”

In 2020, I decided that I had to take a slightly softer tone, given that there just weren’t any adults in the room on the coronavirus issue, and I needed to put that message out there. Furthermore, I had decided that there was less of a need for the extreme rhetoric. Most importantly, I was no longer able to penetrate the mainstream, due to the extreme censorship, which made the goal of desensitizing impossible.

The mainstream media knew that AOC and “The Squad” were fringe in their promotion of this agenda, but they covered it very closely, and presented it as reasonable, desensitizing the entire population to it. Now, their work is going to begin in getting through their actual agenda.

AOC is out there attacking Obama now, saying he’s not hardcore enough.

What if activists aren’t PR firms for politicians & their demands are bc police budgets are exploding, community resources are shrinking to bankroll it, & ppl brought this up for ages but it wasn’t until they said “defund” that comfortable people started paying attn to brutality

The whole point of protesting is to make ppl uncomfortable.

Activists take that discomfort w/ the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes. Popular support often starts small & grows.

This is obviously all part of the plan. She will hold her vanguard together, and Obama will bring the boomers around, and they will let blacks out of prison, make blacks and other colored people above the law, and start feeding massive amounts of opioids to white youth.

It’s all kind of like theater, this manipulation of the perceptions of the masses in order to get them on board with an agenda.

Democrats and liberals, and Jews in general, have been extremely successful in pushing their agenda to transform America. With this situation right now, this defund the police thing, you can see the entire process at work. I have always studied this process, and tried to apply it to right-wing politics.

I was attacked for my desensitization strategy, I was attacked for explaining what optics are, I was attacked for toning down the rhetoric – but I stayed strong, and pushed forward, and it’s now all happening.

As I said yesterday, this is finally paying off, bigly, with the rising America First movement.

This was always the goal: a youth vanguard, who are intelligent and aware of all of the issues, understanding the concept of political optics and not showing their power level, while leading the masses of boomers and other people who are not tapped in.

The right is actually in a position where we can move directly forward in the correct direction with the correct agenda.

It might feel like it is too late. Maybe it is too late. I don’t know. No one knows that. What we know is that for the first time in more than 100 years, we have a clear path to implement political change through a mass movement.

We need good optics. Not just as a movement, but also as a people and as a country.

Allowing pigeons to roam our land without wearing tiny hats is bad optics.

If we are to be taken seriously, we can’t allow our cities to be plagued with animals that have no sense of style or regard for beauty.

A pigeon wearing a tiny sombrero in Reno, Nevada, was discovered following sightings of its cowboy hat-wearing cousins in Las Vegas, a city manager said.

Reno City Manager Sabra Newby tweeted about the bird Wednesday, saying it’s quirky and fun but still inhumane, KOLO-TV reported.

It is the first known sighting of hat-wearing birds in the region, Washoe County Regional Animal Services officials said.

The sighting comes after a pigeon in Las Vegas with a miniature cowboy hat glued to its head died earlier this week, animal officials said.

“Reno cares about our animals,” Newby said. “They need protection and don’t need to become a punchline.”

It’s okay to care about animals, but beauty, style, and optics should come first.

There is literally no reason why all pigeons in white countries shouldn’t be wearing a wide variety of tiny hats.

Bad optic lovers may argue that wearing tiny hats can make pigeons’ lives shorter, but what matters isn’t the length of the pigeons’ lives but the impact it has on the population.

Tiny hats give pigeons’ lives meaning.

Little hats on the little heads of birds bring joy to the people who cross paths with them.

Bringing joy to people is a dignifying act.

Anyone who opposes the presence of tiny hats on the heads of pigeons is opposing joy itself and denying pigeons the chance to contribute back to the society they benefit so much from.

I cannot stress enough how great these optics are.

A Texas police department altered a policy Monday after pictures surfaced showing white officers on horses leading a handcuffed black man on a rope.

Adrienne Bell, who is running for U.S. Congress, tweeted the pictures showing the man, flanked by two mounted Galveston police officers. One of the officers is holding a rope, which is attached to handcuffs, which are clasped to the man’s wrists behind his back.

“It is hard to understand why these officers felt this young man required a leash, as he was handcuffed and walking between two mounted officers. It is a scene that has invoked anger, disgust, and questions from the community,” Bell said in a statement.

According to the Galveston Police Department, the officers, identified as P. Brosch and A. Smith, arrested Donald Neely, 43, for criminal trespass on Saturday.

“A transportation unit was not immediately available at the time of the arrest,” said a statement from the department. So Neely was “was handcuffed and a line was clipped to the handcuffs,” and the officer clutched the other end of the line, leading Neely.

The officers were “familiar” with Neely, and he had been warned about trespassing at the location where he was arrested from, the statement said. He was led on the rope about two blocks to “where the Mounted Patrol Unit was staging from.”

The method of handcuffing someone and escorting them between two mounted officers is usually used in volatile situations, like crowd control.

Controlling a nigger is as hard as controlling a crowd, so this is reasonable.

And it just looks great.

The Texas cops understand the concept of optics, and their importance.

It’s time that White activists got woke on the optics question.

We’ve been having a raging optics debate within the Alt-Right for almost a month now. If you’re not privy to the discussion and this is the first you’ve heard of it – count yourself lucky.

Amazingly, Ann Coulter NEVER gets accused of being a cuck OR of practicing bad optics.

It’s almost as if looking well put together, speaking simply (but also intelligently) and being pro-White are not mutually exclusive qualities.

In the above video where she is asked by an Identity Europa member about the White Genocide in South Africa, Iron Ann does not cuck for a single moment. She openly says that what is about to go down in South Africa is a genocide of the White Boer by the African savages.

And then she says that we are basically two generation away from that happening in the US. 

Some people in the crowd start loudly applauding – but the rest of the guests on stage remain dead silent.

Hey, what do you expect – this is a Breitbart townhall after all.

Hats off to IE btw.

They went out to a place where many people would be sympathetic to their views. They didn’t sperg out. Instead, they simply gave a friendly a chance to push forward a pro-White talking point.

The leader of the white nationalist group “Traditionalist Worker Party” Matthew Heimbach has been charged with multiple assault charges following a domestic incident involving his wife Brooke and his co-party chair and step-father-in-law Matthew Parrot.

Following the incident, Parrot resigned from the organization.

A local man at the center of white nationalist controversy is in jail in Orange County, IN. Matthew Heimbach is facing four charges, including assault.

According to court documents, the incident started on the Paoli property where Heimbach lives with his family and other members of the Traditionalist Worker Party.

Arrest records report Heimbach assaulted his wife’s stepfather Matt Parrott. The papers detail the two had gotten in an argument over an affair.

Parrott told police he ran to Walmart for safety and called 911.

Standing outside Heimbach’s home, the officer said she heard Heimbach raise his voice at his wife, then she heard scuffling.

When the officer went inside the home, she said she learned Heimbach had attacked his wife; pushing her and grabbing her face. Their two young children watched the scene unfold.

The officer arrested Heimbach at his home and took him to the Orange County Jail.

Heimbach faces four charges including strangulation, intimidation, battery and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child.

So the basic story is this:

Matthew Heimbach is married to Matthew Parrot’s step daughter, Brooke. Brooke’s mother is dead, and Matthew Parrott is now remarried to a different woman named Jessica. Matthew Parrot still plays the role of “step-father” to Brooke. They all live in trailers on a plot of land in Indiana, with other members of the TWP.

Heimbach was caught sometime in the last week having an affair with Jessica. They told Parrott and Brooke that the affair had been going on for 3 months, but they had broken it off.

Brooke Heimbach and Jessica Parrott concocted a plan to set-up Heimbach, to see if he would attempt to become intimate again if given the opportunity. Jessica lured Heimbach into Parrot’s trailer, and Brooke and Matthew Parrott watched from the window, standing on a wooden crate with Brooke filming.

Brooke got scared and ran away (presumably after the two being watched had become intimate), and Parrot remained watching through the window until the crate broke, at which point he ran around and confronted Heimbach, telling him to get off of his property.

Heimbach then attacked Parrot, hurting his hand and choking him out to unconsciousness. When he woke up, his wife, Jessica, was standing over him (he later reported to the police that she attacked him, it’s not clear if that was at this time but it may have been). He then ran to someone’s house (it is described as a house and not a trailer), and Heimbach chased after him into this house. Parrot threw a chair at Heimbach to try to get him to back off, and Heimbach again choked him out to unconsciousness.

When he awoke the second time, he found his wife and Heimbach talking about how they had to find Brooke Heimbach, because she had a recording of them together, which they were apparently concerned she would share.

Parrot took his infant child with him and ran to Walmart where he called the police. He told the police that he believed his daughter in law was in danger because she had a video recording of Heimbach with Jessica.

The police went to Heimbach’s trailer, Heimbach, Jessica and a third person met the police. Jessica said that she was an uninvolved neighbor, and asked to leave and the police told her to go home. Heimbach told the police that Brooke was inside with the children, and then she came to the door and said she was putting them to bed. The officer saw that she looked nervous and distraught, and the officer told her to put the children to bed and come back out and speak with her (the female officer).

After a few minutes, Heimbach went inside to help her with the kids and send her out. While both were inside, the officer overheard Heimbach yelling and Brooke and telling her to tell the officers that everything was fine. The officers then entered the trailer and told Heimbach to come out of the room, and he was handcuffed. Brooke was crying, holding one of the children, and told the officers that he had assaulted her.

Heimbach was taken to jail. He later made bail. He faces four charges related to the incident.

Heimbach has previous convictions for violence which may play a role in whatever sentence he receives. I believe he is technically on parole. So he could end up serving years in prison. It is an incredibly sad situation.

*The above was corrected to show that the police report tells that it was Jessica Parrott, not Matthew Parrott, who concocted the plan with Brooke Heimbach to set up Matthew Heimbach to see if he would attempt to initiate sex. I believe that my mistake may have actually been correcting an error on the part of the police, as it makes much more sense that Matthew Parrot would have been working with Brooke Heimbach, because if Jessica Parrott was in on the trick against Matthew Heimbach, why did Matthew Parrot later report that she attacked him and was working with Matthew Heimbach to potentially harm Brooke Parrot to retrieve the sex tape? 

Parrott’s Announcement and the Future of TWP

Given the nature of the above story, it is not surprising that Matthew Parrott has announced via Gab that he is quitting the group.

He has also stated that he has deleted all digital records of the group.

Also, according to the SPLC, he issued to them a statement telling them he was finished and that they won.

After the arrest, Parrott announced he was walking away from the group.

“I’m done. I’m out,” Parrott told The Southern Poverty Law Center on Tuesday. “SPLC has won. Matt Parrott is out of the game. Y’all have a nice life.”

It’s certainly an unfortunate statement, though it would not be easy for anyone to understand where he is at right now, personally.

Personal Comment

I have no desire to comment on this situation from a political perspective, as it is not a political incident. It is quite clearly a human tragedy.

As those who are more involved in “the movement” are aware, I’ve been extremely critical of Matthew Heimbach and the Traditionalist Worker Party in general, but I have been critical of their politics, and the way they have behaved in the public sphere, not their personal lives. And though if this story is true, it certainly may reflect on character and motivation, my disagreements are what they were before this incident and my disagreements would be the same if this incident had never happened.

We should learn whatever lessons we can from this situation, but we should keep the event itself in its proper context as a human tragedy.

Obviously, the media is going to politicize this personal tragedy as a weapon against pro-white activists, and there is nothing we can do about that, but we do not benefit from sinking to that level.
