Israel is using AI systems “Lavender” and “Where’s Daddy?” to kill Palestinians in Gaza, an investigative report by +972 Magazine has revealed pic.twitter.com/9HXHScKeRN

— TRT World (@trtworld) April 5, 2024

Well, this is embarrassing.

Unless it was done on purpose for some reason, which is possible.

The Guardian:

The identity of the commander of Israel’s Unit 8200 is a closely guarded secret. He occupies one of the most sensitive roles in the military, leading one of the world’s most powerful surveillance agencies, comparable to the US National Security Agency.

Yet after spending more than two decades operating in the shadows, the Guardian can reveal how the controversial spy chief – whose name is Yossi Sariel – has left his identity exposed online.

The embarrassing security lapse is linked to a book he published on Amazon, which left a digital trail to a private Google account created in his name, along with his unique ID and links to the account’s maps and calendar profiles.

The Guardian has confirmed with multiple sources that Sariel is the secret author of The Human Machine Team, a book in which he offers a radical vision for how artificial intelligence can transform the relationship between military personnel and machines.

Published in 2021 using a pen name composed of his initials, Brigadier General YS, it provides a blueprint for the advanced AI-powered systems that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have been pioneering during the six-month war in Gaza.

An electronic version of the book included an anonymous email address that can easily be traced to Sariel’s name and Google account. Contacted by the Guardian, an IDF spokesperson said the email address was not Sariel’s personal one, but “dedicated specifically for issues to do with the book itself”.

The security blunder is likely to place further pressure on Sariel, who is said to “live and breathe” intelligence but whose tenure running the IDF’s elite cyber intelligence division has become mired in controversy.

Unit 8200, once revered within Israel and beyond for intelligence capabilities that rivalled those of the UK’s GCHQ, is thought to have built a vast surveillance apparatus to closely monitor the Palestinian territories.

…

One section of the book heralds the concept of an AI-powered “targets machine”, descriptions of which closely resemble the target recommendation systems the IDF is now known have been relying upon in its bombardment of Gaza.

See: Israel Uses AI System to Identify Targets, Gives Soldiers Permission to Kill Civilians

Over the last six months, the IDF has deployed multiple AI-powered decision support systems that have been rapidly developed and refined by Unit 8200 under Sariel’s leadership.

They include the Gospel and Lavender, two target recommendation systems that have been revealed in reports by the Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 magazine, its Hebrew-language outlet Local Call and the Guardian.

See: AI Called “The Gospel” Tells Israel What Part of Gaza to Bomb, The Guardian Reveals

The IDF says its AI systems are intended to assist human intelligence officers, who are required to verify that military suspects are legitimate targets under international law. A spokesperson said the military used “various types of tools and methods”, adding: “Evidently, there are tools that exist in order to benefit intelligence researchers that are based on artificial intelligence.”

…

In one chapter of the book, he provides a template for how to construct an effective targets machine drawing on “big data” that a human brain could not process. “The machine needs enough data regarding the battlefield, the population, visual information, cellular data, social media connections, pictures, cellphone contacts,” he writes. “The more data and the more varied it is, the better.”

It appears that a big purpose of this slaughter in Gaza is to train this system further.

They will use it on other populations in the future.

They will sell it to the American Jews to use against us.

Now that this guy is burned, they will probably just put an AI in charge of the spy group.

Wickr Encrypted Messaging App Now Belongs to Amazon https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/06/26/wickr-encrypted-messaging-app-now-belongs-to-amazon/ Sat, 26 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0000

Everyone is just waiting around to get bought by Amazon.

It’s a business strategy.

But Amazon, which is effectively a private intelligence agency on contract to the CIA as much as it is a retailer, owning an encrypted messaging app creates some conflict of interest.

VICE News:

Amazon has acquired encrypted messaging platform Wickr, according to announcements from Wickr and Amazon on Friday.

The move signifies a major shift in the ownership of a popular encrypted messaging service. Wickr offers a free version that is used by journalists, criminals, and the general public; Wickr also sells various paid products including a platform geared specifically for military communications and another for enterprises. Motherboard recently reported that Customs and Border Protection bought Wickr licenses.

“We’re excited to share that AWS [Amazon Web Services] has acquired Wickr, an innovative company that has developed the industry’s most secure, end-to-end encrypted, communication technology,” Stephen Schmidt, vice president and chief information security officer for AWS, wrote in a press release.

I never used Wickr anyway, but surely anyone using it now is going to stop using it?

Even if you don’t hate Amazon – and I don’t know why you wouldn’t hate Amazon – you cannot argue that this is a company that respects privacy, as a rule.

Tranny Watch recommends both Signal (for phone and desktop) and Ricochet (for desktop, does not require phone number).

Session uses Signal’s backend and doesn’t require a phone number, but given that the company is based in Australia, which is the most anti-privacy country in the world (much worse than say, China – LOL), there is some question about that app’s reliability.

Steam Aiming to Take Down Jew Discord https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/06/14/steam-aiming-to-take-down-jew-discord/ Thu, 14 Jun 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

May the perfidious Discord kikes be destroyed forever.

Valve has been on quite the roll in the past few weeks, pushing for a major offensive against the forces of evil. Gaben’s powerful vidya empire has recently announced they would henceforth allow even the most politically incorrect games to be present on their storefront, dealing a major blow to the J-left’s censorship schemes.

And now, we have more great news from our beloved supplier of entertainment.

They have hatched a plan to destroy Discord, one of our most hated enemies.

Don’t forget, Discord is a company owned by a Jew who sells the conversation logs of Alt-Right servers straight to antifa and other Jewish organizations.

https://vocaroo.com/i/s07SDYZSo4JM

Discord is just generally the most wretched company out there, when it comes to privacy.

And since Discord is specifically targeted at PC gamers, Steam is in a unique position to take over their user base.

Tech Crunch:

Discord has risen among the ranks of gamers as the most common choice for game-related communications. And it’s easy to see why: it works well and the competition is pretty dismal. But Valve is looking to keep users in-house with an overhaul of the chat options on its game platform Steam.

Yes. The competition is horrible.

Discord is by far the best chat program out there. Everything else is inexplicably primitive and backwards by comparison.

Compare this to Skype. Ugh…

Why is it that no one else managed to make a chat program that doesn’t suck? Sending text around shouldn’t be a complex feat of engineering.

It’s a welcome change, one of many that Steam’s users have surely been asking for — the platform, while convenient in many ways, is also incredibly outdated in others. The friend and communications options may as well be ICQ, and let’s not get started on the browser.

Today’s news suggests that Valve has not failed to hear gamers’ cries. The revamped chat is very Discord-like, with text and voice channels listed separately, in-game details like map and game type listed next to friends and a useful quick list for your go-to gaming partners. There’s also a robust web client.

They straight up just took all of Discord’s best features and great layout, and added a few new features that only they could provide due to their position as a games platform.

This… This is great!

Voice and text chat is all encrypted and passed through Steam’s servers, which prevents the NSA competition from monitoring your squad’s tactics during PUBG games and griefers from tracing your IP and ordering a hundred pizzas to your door (or worse).

The NSA can realistically still get your chat logs. But the NSA aren’t the ones we need to be worried about. Not having your chats leaked to your political enemies, as is Discord’s policy, is already a huge improvement.

It’s long past due for a platform like Steam, but more importantly it lets them keep Discord in check. The latter, after all, could conceivably grow itself a game store or promotions page in order to subsidize its free services — and that would be stepping on Valve’s turf. Unforgivable.

That said, it’s far too late for Steam to steal away Discord’s users — it’s been adopted by far too many communities and the benefits of switching aren’t really substantial. But for people who have not yet installed Discord, the presence of a robust chat and voice client within Steam is a powerful deterrent.

That’s where you’re wrong, Tech Crunch.

At the very least, all of the Alt-Right is plausibly going to switch over to this new platform, and so is anyone even vaguely concerned about their privacy.

Moreover, this isn’t some new platform that people will have to move to. Everyone already has a steam account. So it’s just a question of “do I use this additional, external program now that Steam gives me all the features I need?”

In the long term, this is seriously going to eat away at Discord’s userbase.

So the only question is, will Steam also sell our information to third party organizations?

Probably not.

If anything, they’ll give us antifa’s chatlogs.

Valve is a private company, and they can already make use of the user’s data to sell them more games. They have an incentive to keep the information to themselves, as it hampers the competition. Moreover, there’s no shareholder pressure to maximize profit for every cent possible.

So odds are, they’ll keep things on the up and up.

Hail Gaben!

Huffington Post Doxes Female Host of White Nationalist Podcast https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/03/05/huffington-post-doxes-female-host-of-white-nationalist-podcast/ Mon, 05 Mar 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Michael Byron

The Huffington Post revealed the true identity of “Tiana Dalichov,” host of the White Nationalist podcast “Unapologetic,” yesterday.

I’ve never heard of Unapologetic before, but it seemed to be gaining traction in Alt-Right circles. It was openly pro-white and anti-Jew, and Lana Lokteff of Red Ice had been a guest on the show in the past.

“Tiana Dalichov” was revealed to be Dayanna Volitich, pictured above. Volitich is a school teacher from Florida who subtly promoted right wing beliefs to the children she taught.

Sadly, I doubt she’ll still be teaching a week from now.

Huffington Post:

Dayanna Volitich, a 25-year-old social studies teacher at Crystal River Middle School in Florida, has been secretly hosting the white nationalist podcast “Unapologetic” under the pseudonym “Tiana Dalichov” and bragging about teaching her views in a public school, HuffPost has discovered.

In her most recent podcast on Feb. 26, a guest railed against diversity in schools, dismissing the idea that “a kid from Nigeria and a kid who came from Sweden are supposed to learn exactly the same” and have the “same IQ.” Volitich enthusiastically agreed with the guest, and went on to argue that “science” has proven that certain races are smarter than others.

In the same episode, Volitich boasted about bringing her white nationalist beliefs into the classroom and hiding her ideology from administrators. She said that when parents complained to the school’s principal about how she is injecting political bias into the classroom, Volitich lied to the principal and said it was not true.

…

After HuffPost made inquiries about Volitich’s white nationalism to the Citrus County School District on Friday, “Tiana Dalichov” tweeted that she “might disappear for a while” and then set her account to private. She also scrubbed the website for her podcast.

HuffPost took screenshots of many of the racist and incendiary statements she made online.

Volitich’s photo on the Crystal River Middle School website and social media profile photos of “Tiana Dalichov” appear to feature the same person. The photos show Volitich and “Dalichov” wearing the same set of earrings (seen at the top of this piece).

Lastly, the names “Tiana Dalichov” and “Dayanna Volitich” share all but two of the same letters and the same number of syllables.

In her podcast appearances and social media posts, Volitich talks regularly about being a teacher (even mentioning she teaches in Florida) and makes statements that are deeply alarming ― particularly for someone tasked with shaping the minds of middle-school students.

So this woman, who was doing a decent job at redpilling kids in a 90% white school, has almost certainly lost her career as a teacher because she didn’t practice good opsec.

She mentioned significant details about her private life (including her profession) in her podcast, used a fake name that shared similarities with her real one, and – worst of all – used an actual photo of herself for her Twitter avatar.

Dayanna handed herself to our enemies on a silver platter.

If you intend to support White Nationalism in a semi-public capacity (e.g. writing, radio hosting, video making) and want to remain anonymous for strategic and/or legal reasons, then be smart about it. Use a pseudonym, avoid airing details about your private life online, utilize effective Internet security (such as using a dedicated email address for communication and a throwaway SIM card for social media accounts) and, for God’s sake, no damn selfies!

It’s just common sense.

Dyanna is lucky because she’s (a) American, so she won’t go to prison for her political beliefs, and (b) female, so she can market herself as a Trad Thot when she gets banned from teaching and needs a new career.

But there are a lot of people in our movement, especially men in Western Europe, who are one slip-up away from losing everything in life – including their freedom.

Be careful out there!

FBI Failed to Hack Half the Phones They Confiscated Last Year https://www.anglinarchive.com/2017/10/24/fbi-failed-to-hack-half-the-phones-they-confiscated-last-year/ Tue, 24 Oct 2017 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

A lot of people on the Alt-Right are just like “meh, they can hack everything.”

In actual fact “they” can, but the “they” is necessary to define.

Groups that can see anything:

  • CIA
  • Mossad
  • FSB
  • Whatever the Chinese intelligence service is called
  • People who pay a private Israeli company to hack your phone

And none of that is law enforcement, none of it can be entered in a court.

RT:

Federal agents failed to hack into 6,900 mobile devices protected by encryption, the FBI director told a police chiefs’ conference, amid heated debate over privacy and government control over cyberspace.

The FBI was unable to retrieve content from more than 6,900 mobile devices, agency director Christopher Wray said on Monday at the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in Philadelphia. This is more than half of the mobile devices the FBI tried to access in less than a year.

“To put it mildly, this is a huge, huge problem,” Wray said. “It impacts investigations across the board — narcotics, human trafficking, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, gangs, organized crime, child exploitation.”

When the Feds eventually hacked the San Bernadino phone, everyone was like “huh.” They later admitted they just paid the Israelis to do it.

If you’re following the rules, you’re not doing anything illegal anyway. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t want to keep what you are doing private. And if you get arrested for some fake thing, you definitely want your phone safe.

I say to go with “The Cocksucker” AKA “The Boylover” AKA the iPhone for that.

It is still the best on security.

Good news is, the phones all get the security updates, so you don’t need a new one. The 8 is the same thing as the 7 is the same thing as the 6. And the latter is only $300ish, closer to $200 if you get the certified refurbished one.

As far as messaging apps – don’t use WhatsApp. It’s owned by Facebook and is not well-encrypted.

Signal is the best.

But Telegram – which I recently reviewed – has more features, with a better desktop version, and better group chats/calls. I actually prefer it to Skype.

Also, don’t use Skype – that isn’t even encrypted, messages are all stored on their database.

Furthermore, I’m not sure that Discord isn’t in fact selling people’s information to Antifa and the cops. It says in their ToS they can sell messages.

Lots of people having Discord chat leaks these days.

Lots and lots.

Stop using it.

Telegram is the same thing, and it’s safe. Okay, I get that people do podcasts on Discord and Skype – okay. That doesn’t mean you have to use it as your regular chat app.

I’m also not sure that Telegram can’t do the same connection as those apps anyway, to be honest. The podpeople might want to try that.
