This is just an attempt to water-down the Bibi Netanyahu warrant with “see? we indite everyone, even people you’ve never even heard of.”

Whatever the Myanmar government did or didn’t do to those ratfaced Bangladeshi parasites, it was the same as what the Jews did to Palestine.

CNN:

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) is seeking an arrest warrant for Myanmar’s military leader for crimes committed against the persecuted Rohingya minority group.

In his request for the warrant, ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan alleged that Senior Gen. Min Aung Hlaing “bears criminal responsibility for the crimes against humanity of deportation and persecution of the Rohingya” in both Myanmar and parts of Bangladesh between August 25 and December 31, 2017.

As a result of the violence, the ICC estimated that more than one million Rohingya were forcibly displaced from Myanmar — many fleeing to neighboring Bangladesh.

Min Aung Hlaing is the leader of Myanmar’s powerful military, known as the Tatmadaw, which seized power in 2021. Since then, he has served as the military ruler of the country.

Min Aung Hlain seems like a nice guy to me

The investigation, which has been in development since 2019, implicates “the armed forces of Myanmar, the Tatmadaw, supported by the national police, the border guard police, as well as non-Rohingya civilians,” Khan said in a statement.

Myanmar has routinely defended itself from accusations of genocide, saying its crackdown was aimed at Rohingya rebels who had carried out attacks.

Video from 2018, about Rohingya terrorists

Khan made multiple visits to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, where he heard testimonies from various Rohingya refugees who he said made urgent pleas for justice to be reached.

The request from Khan is pending approval from the ICC judges before it can be enacted.

But even If the warrant is approved, the ICC could be limited in its jurisdiction as Myanmar is not among the 123 member states of the court. However, member countries could be obligated to transfer Min Aung Hlaing into ICC custody if he enters their territory after the warrant is issued.

If anyone was wondering why there’s a civil war in Myanmar, it’s actually very simple – the Taliban cracked down on opium production in Afghanistan, so the CIA had to move their crops somewhere else.

That’s it, really.

Afghanistan: Opium Supply Drops by 95% After Taliban Ban https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/11/05/afghanistan-opium-supply-drops-by-95-after-taliban-ban/ Sun, 05 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Just whack it with a stick

For people that are supposedly Iron Age savages, the Taliban seem to be pretty good at actually enforcing laws.

Where in the “civilized world” has any government managed to get these kinds of results on illegal drugs?

Or maybe they’re not even trying?

DW:

Opium production in Afghanistan has plummeted since the Taliban banned cultivation of the poppy plant, according to a UN report published on Sunday.

Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers pledged to wipe out the country’s drug industry, banning poppy cultivation in April 2022.

Poppy plants are the source of opium and heroin. Afghanistan was the world’s biggest opium producer and a major source for heroin in Europe and Asia before the Taliban takeover.

What did the report on Afghan opium production say?

The report by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) found that poppy cultivation had dropped by an estimated 95% over the past year, from 233,000 hectares (575,755 acres) at the end of 2022 to 10,800 hectares in 2023.

Opium production also dropped from 6,200 tons to 333 tons in 2023.

According to the report, this year’s harvest amounts to 24-38 tons of exportable heroin, much less than the 350-580 tons estimated for 2022.

Farmer’s incomes have fallen by 92% this year, from an estimated $1.36 billion to $110 million.

In 2022, poppy crops made up almost a third by value of total agricultural production in Afghanistan.

The UNODC warned of the risk of people previously involved in the opium industry moving towards other illegal activities, like the trafficking of arms, people or synthetic drugs.

A September report from the same agency said that Afghanistan was the world’s fastest-growing producer of methamphetamine.

If that’s actually true, I’m sure when the Taliban crack down on meth, they’re gonna get similar results.

These are serious people.

The UNODC said the Taliban crackdown on the poppy industry could have a negative impact on many Afghans’ livelihoods and warned of “humanitarian consequences for many vulnerable rural communities.”

“Today, Afghanistan’s people need urgent humanitarian assistance… to absorb the shock of lost income and save lives,” UNODC Executive Director Ghada Waly said.

Waly said other crops, such as cotton and wheat, were far more water-intensive than poppy plants. She added that Afghanistan had undergone “three years of consecutive drought.”

“Afghanistan is in dire need of strong investment in sustainable livelihoods to provide Afghans with opportunities away from opium,” she said.

If you’re a junkie, do not be alarmed. Myanmar is making a return to the opium business.

Maybe that’s what their current “pro-democracy” civil war was all about in the first place?

Taliban Wiping Out the Heroin Industry Left in Their Country by the Democracy Invaders https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/06/03/taliban-wiping-out-the-heroin-industry-left-in-their-country-by-the-democracy-invaders/ Fri, 03 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000

The thing about a non-democracy is that they don’t encourage their people to become addicted to opioids.

That’s one of the reasons that democracy is who we are – our values is you should be addicted to opioids in a rules-based order.

AP:

Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers have begun a campaign to eradicate poppy cultivation, aiming to wipe out the country’s massive production of opium and heroin, even as farmers fear their livelihoods will be ruined at a time of growing poverty.

On a recent day in Washir district in southern Helmand province, armed Taliban fighters stood guard as a tractor tore up a field of poppies. The field’s owner stood nearby, watching.

The Taliban, who took power in Afghanistan more than nine months ago, issued an edict in early April banning poppy cultivation throughout the country.

Those violating the ban “will be arrested and tried according to Sharia laws in relevant courts,” the Taliban deputy interior minister for counternarcotics, Mullah Abdul Haq Akhund, told The Associated Press in Helmand’s provincial capital, Lashkar Gah.

Afghanistan is the world’s biggest opium producer and a major source for heroin in Europe and Asia. Production spiraled over the past 20 years despite billions of dollars spent by the U.S. trying to stop poppy cultivation.

But the ban will likely strike a heavy blow to millions of impoverished farmers and day laborers who rely on proceeds from the crop to survive. The ban comes as Afghanistan’s economy has collapsed, cut off from international funding in the wake of the Taliban takeover. Most of the population struggles to afford food, and the country has been suffering under its worst drought in years.

Yeah so, the US set these people up as heroin producers. Then when the US lost the war, they cut them off from the global economy – except the heroin economy. So people think they’re going to starve unless they sell the drugs.

Just remember: US is the good guys, because they are a democracy in a rules-based order of our values.

Noor Mohammed, who owns one poppy field in Washir that was torn apart by Taliban tractors, said his plot of land is small and lacks water, so he can’t survive by growing less profitable crops.

“If we are not allowed to cultivate this crop, we will not earn anything,” he said of his poppies.

Day laborers can earn upwards of $300 a month harvesting opium from the poppies. Villagers often rely on the promise of the upcoming poppy harvest to borrow money for staples such as flour, sugar, cooking oil and heating oil.

You don’t really need $300 a month living in a village in Afghanistan, unless you’re literally the only provider for a very large family. Given that people have so many kids, there’s no chance you’re going to be the only provider.

These heroin people just sound greedy, and it’s something else that the AP is making them out as victims, once again.

Helmand is the heartland of poppy cultivation in Afghanistan. It appeared the new eradication campaign was targeting mainly those who planted their crops after the ban was announced. Many others who had planted earlier succeeded in harvesting, going from plant to plant, slicing the poppy’s bulb, then scooping up the sap that oozes out, the raw material for opium.

Akhund, the deputy interior minister, said the Taliban were in touch with other governments and non-governmental organizations to work out alternative crops for farmers.

Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor said the eradication campaign will take place across the country. “We are committed to bringing poppy cultivation to zero,” he told the AP.

…

Today, Afghanistan’s opium output is greater than all other opium-producing countries combined. Nearly 80% of the heroin produced from Afghan opium reaches Europe through Central Asia and Pakistan.

Seriously – the US was growing these drugs while they occupied the country. They were doing it from the beginning.

This was one of the biggest points of contention between the fake US-backed “Afghan Government” and the Taliban – the Taliban said that everyone shouldn’t be producing and distributing hard drugs.

Imagine the US painting the Taliban as “dinosaurs” because they don’t support drug addiction.

That’s a pretty cool image though. If I was the Taliban, I’d start putting “Dinoban” on merch and maybe create a cartoon series about it.

I loved that cartoon “Dino Riders.” It was created by Gerry Conway, creator of the Punisher.

It was really frustrating as a kid that you couldn’t just get this stuff on demand and actually had to figure out what time it came on TV, or convince your mom to buy you the cassette tapes. The cassette tapes were purposefully expensive, and stores would put them where children could grab them and demand their parents buy them for them. I remember my mom complaining about that, and refusing to buy me the cassette tapes I wanted because she felt it was a manipulative scheme. But my grandma would buy me a lot of them.

For whatever reason, Dino Riders was not available. I recently went back and watched some episodes of 1990s cartoons to examine the story-telling. Frankly, these shows should be taught in schools as examples of story structure. I think Spongebob is a reason why kids today are so stupid – there is not a definite story structure to that show or any of these other post-2000 cartoons. If children aren’t going to learn anything about literature from cartoons, they should just learn ditch-digging from an early age.

I also had some of the Dino rider toys, which were fricking awesome.

My point is: I would be happy to help the Taliban violate the copyright of Disney and Tyco Toys and relaunch the Dino Riders as a literary analogy for the Taliban fighting the American invaders. The show would help teach kids the values of Sharia Law, such as that women need to shut up because they’re stupid whores and how homosexuals should be thrown off roofs.

This could be a real competitor in foreign markets to the current Disney show about riding dinosaurs, “Gay Rimjob Dino Meth Party.”

We can run foreign ads: “100% Dino Adventure with Zero Monkey Pox! Buy Now to Stop Your Kids From Being Gay!”

If anyone knows the Taliban, tell them to give me a ring. We can start production whenever.

Taliban Officially Bans Production, Distribution, And Use of Narcotics https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/08/18/taliban-officially-bans-production-distribution-and-use-of-narcotics/ Wed, 18 Aug 2021 00:00:00 +0000

At the same Kabul press conference on Tuesday where the Taliban spokesman condemned the censorship practices of Facebook, he also announced that from now on, The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will be a narcotics-free country.

Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that all of the opium and heroin production which has been run by the US military for the last two decades will end, and the country will go back to the drug-free way it was before the American invasion.

“We had brought narcotics production to a halt in 2001. That is something we will do. Afghanistan will be drug-free from now on,” he said.

“We need alternative crops, and we hope to bring this scourge to an end,” he continued, noting that he would welcome international assistance with developing a new agricultural model for the country.

During the first ever Taliban press conference, Mujahid also promised peace in the country, and guaranteed all rights that are outlined within Sharia Law.

In the United States and across the West, homosexuals, feminists and Jews are still reeling from the rapid and brutal defeat they suffered in the country, and have taken to simply whining and moaning like babies.

During the occupation, US troops were assigned to protect the opium fields, something which created much controversy among the strictly religious Taliban, along with Westerners who did not appreciate the US government flooding the streets with heroin.

The US and its allies had made billions off the production and sale of heroin while occupying Afghanistan for 19 years, but most of the CIA-linked distributors have now switched to fentanyl, meaning that the cut of their profits as a result of the loss of the war in Afghanistan will be minimal.

We need to build a wall.

And we need to do it quickly.

New York Post:

Authorities have uncovered a massive narcotics mill in The Bronx — and seized $7.5 million in heroin and fentanyl, including some labeled “Death” and “Kill.”

Investigators found the haul during a court-authorized search of the illicit packaging plant in the Soundview neighborhood, according to a statement from the city’s Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.

Inside the two-bedroom apartment at 1240 Morrison Ave., officials recovered 11 kilos of suspected heroin inside a duffel bag and another 10 kilos hidden in a wall behind a medicine cabinet, the statement said.

Equipment used to package the narcotics for street-level sale was found in a second bedroom — including nearly 16 tape dispensers, 300 rolls of tape, three scales, four strainers and 12 electric coffee grinders, according to Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan.

Agents nabbed five men in the bust — Matias Rosario-Ramon, 37, Anthony Polanco, 29, Willy De La Cruz, 28, Pedro Sandoval, 26, and Luis Guzman-Rojas, 46 — who were awaiting arraignment Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court. They face charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Officials recovered a total of over 55 kilos in street drugs, which was part of an ongoing investigation into a narcotics trafficking operation, authorities said.

This is a decent amount of heroin which won’t be flooding White areas now.

CBS:

The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force arrested the investigation’s target, Imier Green, 24, during a motor vehicle stop. While he was detained, officers with search warrants visited two residences used by Green.

At one residence on the 200 block of Bellevue Avenue, officers recovered a loaded revolver, 242 bricks of heroin, four bundles of heroin, two scales, a shotgun, and over $6,000 in cash.

A 17-year-old male was arrested during that search, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.

A second search at a property in the 300 block of Reservoir Street revealed a loaded revolver, a loaded handgun, and more heroin.

At that residence, officers arrested Loraine Green, 54.

After nearly 16 years of American military occupation in Afghanistan, the country is worse off than ever.

American military forces have been occupying Afghanistan for nearly 16 years now. An untold amount of resources have been poured into this effort and things are worse than ever.

Just the other day news broke of an Afghan soldier turning his weapon on a group of US Army Rangers. He ended up killing three of them.

AFP:

An Afghan commando who opened fire on American troops killed three of them and wounded another, US and Afghan officials said, in an insider attack that was claimed by the Taliban.

The so-called “green-on-blue” attack on Saturday is the latest in a line of incidents where Afghan soldiers have turned their weapons on international forces they are working with.

It also comes as the Taliban ramp up their campaign against the Western-backed government in Afghanistan, and as US President Donald Trump mulls sending more troops into the lengthy conflict.

Nangarhar provincial spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told AFP the Afghan commando had opened fire on US troops during an operation in the volatile Achin district.

“The (Afghan) soldier was also killed in the return fire,” he said.

The Pentagon said the families of the three dead soldiers were being informed.

“One US soldier was wounded and has been evacuated for medical treatment,” a spokesman added. “This incident is under investigation.”

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the deaths, saying the attack was carried out by an infiltrator.

A few weeks ago a massive truck bomb killed 90 and injured 400 in the heart of Afghanistan’s capital Kabul.

Days later, another 20 were killed and 87 injured after a series of bomb blasts targeted a funeral also in Kabul.

Nothing positive has come out of this occupation. The capital city of Kabul isn’t secure and the general population is increasingly viewing American military forces as occupiers. The Taliban is gaining not losing support. Islamic terrorism has increased not decreased.

Removing the Taliban out of power has only fueled the nation’s opium production. This is a key ingredient used in the production of heroin. Interesting that the increase in Afghanistan’s opium production has coincided with all the drug problems in the United States. This is definitely not a coincidence.

Unless we plan to openly exploit the country for its mineral resources, there is zero benefit to continuing military operations. It was always absurd to believe that a bunch of primitive cave dwellers were going to adopt freedom and democracy at the barrel of a gun.

Who knows though, maybe I’m wrong. Maybe we just need to be there another 16 years and things will work out just fine!
