Frankly, although I am generally pro-free market when it comes to these things, there absolutely has to be laws about foreign ownership of media, and there should really be laws about even out of state ownership of media.

Obviously, there also need to be laws about media consolidation.

Nothing good can come from massive corporations – foreign or otherwise – buying up local media and then presenting as being local media.

Obviously, the internet complicates things, but even on the internet, media outlets should be required to offer full disclosure about their funding and ownership in a very obvious place.

George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and left-wing Swiss Billionaire Hansjörg Wyss- quietly donated millions of dollars to a non-profit that acquired nearly two dozen local papers in Maine in July, according to Semafor.

The National Trust for Local News acknowledges that it received funding from Soros’ organization, but denies that the Open Society Foundations provided funding specifically for the purchase of the local papers. A source with direct knowledge of the acquisition, however, told Semafor that Soros and Wyss did donate funds so the National Trust could acquire the papers; the donations had not been previously reported.

Wyss is also a supporter of States Newsroom, a left-wing network of local news outlets that began as a project of the left-wing Hopewell Fund. States Newsroom is currently expanding operations in Maine.

Hansjörg Wyss is a Swiss billionaire who just decided one day to fund all sorts of leftist stuff in America. He’s a member of the Democracy Alliance, a group made up mostly of rich Jews to funnel money to “progressives.”

Maine Public reported that the Soros-backed National Trust now controls the largest network of newspapers in Maine. In total, the National Trust acquired five daily papers and a further 17 weekly publications.

Wyss is a major funder of American progressive organizations, funneling nearly $500 million into left-wing advocacy groups. Americans for Public Trust, a watchdog group, alleges that the Swiss billionaire uses a foreign influence loophole to perform his philanthropy.

Soros has long funded media organizations. A Media Research Center report found that Soros has donated $52 million to media organizations since 2003. According to the MRC, some of these donations breach the Society of Professional Journalists’ ethical code regarding conflicts of interest.

The idea of a “free media” is pretty much dead.

The biggest problem is that right-wing media is simply banned, at the same time these left-wing groups are consolidating all control of media, with fewer and fewer people even having any input at all on what is said in the media.

The only right-wing media that is even allowed is controlled opposition tripe like Ben Shapiro.

The thing that is happening with everyone is also happening with the Jews: the generational dumbing.

People are getting dumber generation to generation. Not everyone is dumb, but even smart people are dumber than the previous generation of dumb people.

A hedge fund manager turned philanthropist and major backer of liberal causes, Soros, 92, said he previously didn’t want his Open Society Foundations (OSF) to be taken over by one of his five children.

But speaking of his decision to turn over the foundation and the rest of his $25 billion empire to his son, Alexander, 37, who goes by Alex, the elder Soros said: “He’s earned it.”

Also interviewed by the newspaper, Alex said he’s “more political” than his father and that he plans to continue donating family money to back left-leaning U.S. political candidates.

“As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it too,” Alex said.

The OSF board elected Alex as its chairman in December, and Alex now directs political activity as president of Soros’ political action committee.

More than 20 states so far have outlawed abortion in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturn of Roe v. Wade, but rogue prosecutors may prevent many of these legal protections for preborn babies from taking effect.

On June 24, the Court ruled 5-4 in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization that it was “time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.” By invalidating the 1973 precedent that forced all 50 states to allow most abortions, the ruling caused the activation of numerous pre-Roe abortion bans that had gone unenforced for decades, as well as more recent pro-life laws that had been blocked by courts, and “trigger laws” designed not to take effect until Roe was reversed.

Across the country, abortion giant Planned Parenthood has suspended abortions and/or closed locations in reaction to the ruling, and pro-life attorneys general have declared their intentions to enforce their states’ duly-enacted abortion prohibitions. But leftists occupying the offices tasked with carrying out such laws are threatening to do their part to keep abortions continuing.

Fair and Just Prosecution, a project of the left-wing nonprofit The Tides Center (which is financed by various left-wing foundations including George Soros Open Society Foundations and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), issued a statement signed by 90 state attorneys general and district attorneys declaring that they will “decline to use our offices’ resources to criminalize reproductive health decisions and commit to exercise our well-settled discretion and refrain from prosecuting those who seek, provide, or support abortions.”

“Enforcing abortion bans runs counter to the obligations and interests we are sworn to uphold,” the group claims. “It will erode trust in the legal system, hinder our ability to hold perpetrators accountable, take resources away from the enforcement of serious crime, and inevitably lead to the retraumatization and criminalization of victims of sexual violence.”

The signatories so far represent 29 states, one territory (the Northern Mariana Islands), and the nation’s capital of Washington, D.C. While some are purely symbolic, hailing from blue states where abortion will remain legal for the foreseeable future, 12 are in newly pro-life states where their refusal to enforce the law will have an impact.

The Washington Times adds that, on top of Soros’s support for Tides, at least 20 of the prosecutors have received campaign support from Soros. Electing local district attorneys to ensure left-wing outcomes at the grassroots level has been a priority of Soros’s for years.

While prosecutors have lawful discretion to determine where to most effectively focus their offices’ limited supplies of time, money, and manpower, it is much more controversial to use prosecutorial discretion as a justification to disregard an entire category of laws. But pro-lifers say the problem was not unexpected.

Yeah, they’ve been doing this with immigration law forever, but only in blue states.

I don’t know how red state prosecutors can maintain their positions while refusing to enforce laws, but I guess red states like Soros DAs as much as anyone, because they make life so much more exciting.

George Soros’ Open Society Foundation said on Monday it would cease operations in Turkey, days after President Tayyip Erdogan accused the billionaire philanthropist of trying to divide and destroy nations. 

The foundation said it had been the target of “baseless claims” in the Turkish media, which made it impossible for it to continue its work.

It also faced an investigation by the Interior Ministry which sought to demonstrate a link, which it denied, between the foundation and protests at Istanbul’s Gezi Park in 2013.

One of its founders in Turkey, Hakan Altinay, was among 13 people detained 10 days ago. They were accused of supporting jailed rights activist Osman Kavala in a bid to overthrow the government through mass protests. 

In a speech last week, Erdogan linked those arrests to Soros. “The person (Kavala) who financed terrorists during the Gezi incidents is already in prison,” he told a meeting of local administrators.

“And who is behind him? The famous Hungarian Jew Soros. This is a man who assigns people to divide nations and shatter them. He has so much money and he spends it this way.”

George Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) may close their office in Budapest and move Eastern European operations to Germany, due to the “political hostility” it faces in Hungary, Austria’s Die Presse newspaper reported.

The office may shut down, reportedly, by the end of August and then move to Berlin or to Vienna. The report came a week and a half after Hungarian parliamentary elections, in which the conservative, anti-immigrant Fidesz party, led by Prime Minister Viktor Orban, secured a decisive victory.

In a press release on Thursday night, the Open Society Foundations neither confirmed nor denied the report, saying that it is “closely monitoring the situation” but emphasizing that, in any case, it will “remain committed to Hungary.”

“We are considering various options, as the security of our staff in Budapest and the integrity of our work is of paramount importance,” the NGO wrote. “The Open Society Foundations are closely watching developments around the draft legislation that would dramatically restrict the activities of civil society in Hungary.”

Orban is out celebrating, saying that no migrants will ever be allowed in Hungary.

Budapest will continue to uphold its strong anti-immigrant stance, despite attempts by the EU and media moguls to portray migration as a positive process and a basic “human right,” Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.

“No matter how many times George Soros goes to Brussels, no matter how many times the issue of illegal immigration is placed on the agenda, and no matter how many allies George Soros has in Brussels, we will not back down. Illegal immigrants will continue to not be allowed entry into Hungary in [the] future,” the official said in a statement on Wednesday.

Of course, what Orban does not and will not tell you is that he is continuing the process of integration into the European Union, which means that in the not-too-distant future, the Prime Minister of Hungary will no longer have the ability to make the decision as to whether or not migrants are allowed into Hungary.

I’m not big on Orban for that reason – even if he is able to run Soros out of his country.

It is impossible to be a “pro-EU nationalist.”

Like most of the former Warsaw Pact countries, the Soviets from the 1960s on heavily curbed Jewish influence (whose abuses were the catalyst for the 1956 pogrom that wound up with the Soviets demanding many prominent Communist Party Jews resign) and allowed some degree of national identity in its satellite states like Hungary. Today, NATO, the European Union and international Jews like George Soros, have spent billions of dollars looking to re-engineer the youth of Hungary by offering hyper-individualism and cushy middle class jobs doing nothing as a stick-and-carrot way to cultivate the nihilism and rootless cosmopolitanism they need in the new elites they are spawning.

Safe to say they haven’t been too successful. While Viktor Orban is heavily demonized by the international Judenpresse for his “controversial” stance on keeping millions of violent blacks and Arabs out of Hungary, he is simply a moderate expression of the will of the Hungarian people.

For this reason, an exogenous antidote is being developed, looking to exploit the age-old conflict between Hungarians and Gypsies (who have failed to integrate into society despite all types of programs inviting them).

The court’s Feb. 8 ruling against the police – one of hundreds of hate crimes against Roma, or gypsies, recorded annually in Hungary – was hailed by Amnesty International as a “drop of hope in a sea of fear.”

“Not only is the far right party, Jobbik, the third largest in parliament, but the ruling Fidesz party has drifter further and further in its negative attitudes towards Roma,” the group said.

The Jewish-Roma partnership at Aurora is unusual in a country where the two minorities rarely act in unison, according to Eszter Hajdu, a Hungarian filmmaker who has studied that relationship.

But for Marom, which began in 1998 as an apolitical group, the penchant for opposition activism is inescapable, according to Schoenberger.

A visit to the website of this “Aurora” Jewish center reveals that this is more than a humble little community outreach group. The space is host to numerous international NGOs, promoting and recruiting for everything from militant homosexuality to organizing Gypsies as a political bloc, similar to how Jews use blacks in America.

Far from an organic outgrowth, the Jews of “Aurora” appear to have friends in high places. Two subtle little indicators on the bottom give a hint as to who is coordinating this subversion:

The only reason the Hungarian has to tolerate a hub expressing an explicit interest in overthrowing the democratically elected government of Orban is that they fear international repercussions from these international Jewish benefactors. But all of these fears are irrelevant if they succeed in their task of creating more divisions, more ethnic and social strife, and continue to try and weather the foundations of Hungarian society.

What would the reaction be if Russia were to open up a center full of Kremlin funded NGOs and activist groups with the explicit intent of overthrowing the government of Germany? Of France? Canada? It certainly wouldn’t be tolerance.

Orban’s government is well within its rights in raiding this organization and putting all of the ring leaders in prison. Jewish media libel, EU sanctions and threats from Merkel are meaningless in the era of Trump, who has expressed a friendly attitude towards Orban and the Hungarian people.

If the government doesn’t want to do it themselves, they should simply inform the people of Hungary, and let them picket this institute until these Jews leave the country.

E-mails from the Clinton campaign reveal a close connection to Soros.

Likewise, Soros was directly mentioned in multiple subject headlines on emails, often times requesting a meeting with top Clinton official, John Podesta.

What this proves is that Soros has tremendous influence in the direction of the Clinton campaign. Podesta would not be wasting his valuable time to meet in person with Soros on a frequent basis if this were not the case.

If Hillary Clinton becomes President, Soros will be a major force in helping form the political direction of the United States government. This will mean an uncontrolled invasion of third world populations, war with Russia and an even more aggressive assault on traditional American values.

It is important to note that the Russians recently banned Soros-funded operations in their country. They were smart to do this as Soros money was behind the overthrow of the democratically elected pro-Russian government in Ukraine a few years ago. The Russians believed and rightly so that these Soros entities in their country represented a national security threat and were plotting to create civil disorder. Make no mistake, Soros is an incredibly evil and diabolical individual we are dealing with here.

Keep in mind that this is only a portion of the Wikileaks e-mails dumped from John Podesta’s gmail account. It is safe to assume that Podesta and other Clinton campaign staffers had many more communications with Soros than what has been revealed so far. It will be interesting to see what else is revealed about this connection in future e-mail dumps from Wikileaks.
