Italy’s population continued to age in 2023, so much so that it had almost six over-64s for every child under six last year, Istat said in a report on Monday.

To be precise, the ratio was 5.8 elderly people for every small child, up from 5.6 in 2022 and 3.8 in 2011.

The national statistics agency said the average age of the population rose to 46.6 years in 2023, up by 0.2% on 2022.

It said the average age was 48 for women and 45.2 for men in Italy.

The country’s youngest region is Campania, with an average age of 44.2 years.

Istat said births continued to decline last year, with 379,890 babies being born here, just over six for every 1,000 residents and a drop of around 13,000 on 2022.

It said the proportion of the population aged under 15 dropped from 12.4% to 12.2%, while the proportion aged 65 or over rose from 24% to 24.3%, with the 15-64 age group steady at 63.5%.

This is apocalyptic.

Everyone who says this has to do with economics, because women don’t feel like they have enough money, is full of shit.

Women in the poorest countries have the most children.

Moreover, when people like Bill Gates are arguing about the need to lower the birthrate in the third world, they actually point to the fact that the richer a country is, the fewer children they have.

That actually applies to even Islamic Arab states, where the Gulf states have lower birthrates than the poorer Middle East countries.

But of course, the Gulf states have significantly better birthrates than white countries, because they have not enfranchised women.

• The primary driver is women’s rights

It’s exhausting to have people now claiming that the birthrate is a problem and the issue is that women need more money. These are the same people, literally, who say that the solution to the extremely high birthrate in Africa is raising the quality of life.

On every issue that matters, people will spread gibberish.

Poor women will breed the most, because poor women almost by definition cannot be liberated, and because producing children is a biological response to poverty, because historically, children produced resources for the family (and still do in poor countries).

Do not let these people tell you they can convince women to breed by giving them tax cuts. This is never, ever going to happen, and Russia and China need to understand that as well.

If you want the birthrate to stabilize at replacement levels, you have to remove women’s rights, or you have to figure out a way to drive your country into poverty (which again, will de facto remove women’s rights). There is no third option.

A new survey of Georgia voters suggests that the path to victory for Republicans in the presidential race involves mobilizing the 50 and up crowd.

Those typically high-propensity voters are breaking for Donald Trump, according to the latest survey from AARP, and they could potentially flip a state that the former president lost by fewer than 12,000 votes four years ago.

Overall, the race is tight: a head-to-head ballot shows Trump and Harris tied at 48%. When the options expand to include Robert Kennedy Jr., Jill Stein, and Cornel West, Trump then leads 48% to 46% overall.

But the race is seeing radical segmentation, with this poll showing that the older a voter is, the more likely they will support Trump.

Among voters under 35, Trump is down 11 points in a head-to-head and 9 points in a full field. With those aged 35 to 49, Trump is down by 4 points in either scenario.

But when voters old enough to be AARP members are segmented out of the larger poll, it’s a different dynamic altogether.

Among those 50 to 64 years of age, Trump leads by 4 points in both the full field and the binary battle.

And with those 65 and up, Trump dominates. He’s up by 13 points in the two-way ballot test, and a staggering 15 points (56% to 41%) when the larger field is factored in.

AARP believes that more seasoned voters will make the difference in this election.

Elections are fake and it doesn’t matter anyway.

But it’s funny to see who is thinking what about politics.

Trump was gaining a lot of ground with young people, and that seems to have dropped off a cliff with most young people joining the Anglinist movement of “don’t vote – but a Hilux.”

In the now-viral clip from a Democrat press conference on Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi is speaking whilst Nadler, having finished his piece, does a serious penguin walk off of the stage. The only explanation for walking like that is that he either did shit himself, or he farted and he didn’t know for sure if he shat himself.

In a longer version of the clip posted to YouTube, you can see Nadler do a serious lean and sticks his tongue out as he leaves the podium, before he begins the penguin walk.

However, more than half worry that their seniors are not capable of picking up new skills when it comes to using technology effectively.

‘Technology has become an essential lifeline for millions of people right now,’ said BT group director of digital impact Kerensa Jennings.

‘But to combat loneliness, we must ensure that older people can take advantage of the benefits that technology provides, from accessing vital services to staying in touch with family and friends.’

‘Even picking up some relatively simple digital skills can make a huge difference to the lives of older people and those that care for them during lockdown.’

Such skills, Professor Jennings explained, can include ‘doing their own online shopping, accessing health services or enjoying face-to-face calls with loved ones.’

‘That’s why we are working closely with leading social change charity Good Things Foundation to ensure people can get the skills they need to stay connected and healthy during lockdown.’

This is another thing that they’d be likely to use to fuel a mass Mark of The Beast agenda.

On top of arguing that smartphones are not a viable platform for their contact tracing apps due to billions of people worldwide having phones without the technology required to run them, and phones not being allowed in some environments like schools and prisons, they can argue that elderly people wouldn’t be effectively protected by smartphone apps because the elderly struggle with smartphones and technology.

Even if old people had smartphones capable of running the software, they’d have a hard time keeping their phone charged all the time and remembering to have it on them at all times.

Presumably, after presenting their case, most people would agree that the most straightforward solution would be to make a new foolproof device, cheap enough for the government to mass distribute it and small enough for people to carry it with them at all times.

Robert Thomas, 93, became ‘upset’ after his Las Vegas apartment was damaged by water and blamed the management staff, police said.

A 92-year-old woman allegedly killed her son in Arizona because she did not want to be sent to an assisted living facility, authorities said.

Anna Mae Blessing was charged with first degree murder, aggravated assault and kidnapping after authorities found her 72-year-old son dead Monday at their home in Fountain Hills, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said.

Blessing hid two pistols in the pockets of her robe and shot her son several times in his bedroom, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Her son’s girlfriend was also in the room and said she heard Blessing telling her son she was tired of the way he treated her, court documents said.

“From my understanding, she had thought about it for a few days because there was a dispute regarding her son wanting to put her in an assisted living home,” Maricopa County Sgt. Bryant Vanejas told CNN affiliate KPHO.

Blessing then pointed the gun at her son’s girlfriend, who struggled with her until she lost her grip of the gun. When Blessing pulled out the second pistol from her robe, her son’s girlfriend also knocked it out of her hand, the statement said.

Once she was disarmed, Blessing sat on a reclining chair until deputies arrived and arrested her, officials said.
“As the suspect was being escorted from the residence, she made a spontaneous statement to the effect of ‘You took my life, so I’m taking yours,'” court documents said.

Blessing moved in with her son and his girlfriend about six months ago, the affiliate reported.

This woman could definitely get around – there isn’t any reason she would need to go to a home, other than that her son didn’t want to do his responsibility.

This is the deal: they raise you when you’re young, you ease them into death when they’re old. That is the order of nature.

I will say though that because of this “end of life care” there are certain situations where nursing homes become inevitable. These medical companies are keeping these poor old people alive when their minds are completely gone, and they can’t even go to the bathroom by themselves, and you can’t really expect someone to manage that situation.

That is the fault of the medical industrial complex.

If a person can’t think or use the bathroom on their own – can’t recognize their own children – hospitals and doctors should not be trying to keep them alive. That is just some insane scam.

There is no living person who would say “yeah, after my mind completely decomposes and I can’t even recognize my own children and I’m shitting the bed, make sure to keep me alive for years on end.”

It’s horrible to do that to someone.

I’m generally against “assisted suicide,” but only because end of life euthanasia has been mixed with that, to confuse people. Like calling people who rape babies and people who have sex with a girl 2 days before her 16th birthday “pedophiles,” thus mixing the terminology up to the point where it doesn’t make any sense anymore.

I think a “right to die with dignity” act would be a good thing. I would certainly sign up for it. As would most people – possibly everyone.
