An Ohio city that was racked with chaos and threats last year related to an influx of Haitian immigrants filed a lawsuit on Thursday against a neo-Nazi group that it alleges was at the heart of the onslaught.

The city of Springfield, Mayor Rob Rue and several others sued the Blood Tribe, leaders Christopher Pohlhaus and Drake Berentz and seven unnamed followers in U.S. District Court in Dayton.

They accuse the group of “engaging in, and inciting, a campaign of harassment and intimidation, motivated by ethnic and racial hatred, against those who supported Springfield’s Haitian community in the face of Defendants’ racist attacks.”

With legal help from the Anti-Defamation League, the plaintiffs are asking the court for a jury trial seeking to block the group from making further threats and to impose damages.

The court file did not list an attorney for the Blood Tribe. Messages were left at phone numbers listed under Pohlhaus’ and Berentz’s names.

Springfield, a city of roughly 60,000 west of Columbus, has seen its Haitian population grow to about 10,000 people in recent years, as Haitians have fled violence in their home country in search of stability and employment. Their growing numbers caused friction with local residents, as schools, roads, hospitals and social programs were taxed by the large population — and, particularly, after a child was killed in 2023 when a Haitian immigrant driver hit a school bus.

Although these people are feds, what they were actually doing were legal demonstrations.

So now, you have a group that no one will defend being prosecuted for legal demonstrations, which will set a precedent that can be applied to normal people who oppose the mass immigration agenda.

An Ohio teacher who refused to use students preferred pronouns will take home $450,000 in a legal settlement with the local school district.

Vivian Geraghty brought the suit against the Jackson Local School District, about 20 miles south of Akron, in 2022 after she was told to resign from a middle school language arts position over her stance on the matter.

“The school tried to force Vivian to accept and repeat the school’s viewpoint on issues that go to the foundation of morality and human identity, like what makes us male or female, by ordering her to personally participate in the social transition of her students,” Logan Spena a legal counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom, the organization representing Geraghty told local NBC4 Ohio.

“The First Amendment prohibits that abuse of power, and Jackson Local School District officials have learned that comes at a steep cost,” Spena added.

The settlement, reach last month, came after the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio ruled in August that the school’s pronoun policy was “not neutral” and that forcing Geraghty to use preferred pronouns was a form of “compelled speech.”

The brouhaha began in 2022 after Geraghty said two students request she use names that align “with their new gender identities rather than their legal names.” Another student had wanted to be called by different pronouns, citing a school policy requiring teachers to use students’ preferred pronouns.

Universal suffrage democracy is always a tyranny, because the vast majority of peasants have no stake in the society. This is why in the original American republic, only landowners were allowed to vote. Landowners are going to necessarily be more intelligent people than landless peasants, and they are also going to have a stake in the future of society.

If you have mass media and allow not only peasants but women to vote, you just have a ridiculous and cartoonish system where the outcomes of elections are based on people’s emotions. I’m totally against universal suffrage democracy. I think a “democratic republic” where only landowners can vote is probably fine, though an “autocracy” like China is also fine.

Note: China has social mobility without voting in national elections. The fundamental problem with traditional monarchy and a system of nobility is that there is no social mobility, and the only people who can move up are peasant women lucky enough to get pregnant by a noble. China has developed a system that is basically monarchy but without a strictly defined class system. Please also note that the idea that monarchies are oppressive is simple nonsense. Democracy is the most oppressive system. A lack of social mobility might be “oppression” in some vague sense, but the idea that monarchs were ever able to do whatever they wanted is just a lie.

This all having been said, the United States and now the West as a whole has moved drastically away from the established norms of universal suffrage democracy and into a system of dikastocracy, where the government is run by judges. Random judges no one has ever heard of can just override the laws introduced by the democracy government.

An Ohio judge permanently struck down the state’s ban on abortion after about six weeks on Thursday and criticized its Republican attorney general for attempting to circumvent the will of Ohioans who voted to enshrine abortion protections in the state constitution.

Judge Christian Jenkins of the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas in Cincinnati said, opens new tab the Republican-backed 2019 state law would interfere with women’s ability to receive abortions and discourage doctors from performing them, in violation of a constitutional amendment approved by voters last year.

The office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, a Republican, acknowledged that the ban itself could not stand in light of the ballot initiative, but had argued that 14 other provisions of the state law should be upheld.

Those included requirements to have doctors check for fetal heartbeats before performing abortions, inform patients seeking abortions when their fetuses are viable, and have patients wait 24 hours after seeing a doctor before undergoing an abortion.

Jenkins said those provisions were unconstitutional because the ballot measure’s broad wording prohibits any burden on the ability to exercise the right to have an abortion.

This is a garbled mess.

The constitutional amendment was passed in November of 2023, a non-election year, with 56% of the vote. Now, a year later, this rando judge decides that it overrides the 2019 law passed by the state legislature. The 2019 6-week law was passed before the overturning of Roe v. Wade, as a “trigger law” that would come into effect if Roe was overturned and states were again allowed to regulate abortion.

According to the way the system is setup now, the judge is presumably correct that the constitutional amendment overrides the 2019 law. But why is it up to him, and not put to a referendum? Why did it take the courts a year to decide something that is obvious?

There was debate about the rules, so allowing one guy no one has ever heard of to be the ultimate decider who can permanently dictate state law does not make any sense.

Lockland Village has not yet learned how to be multicultural.

That transformation must occur or Lockland Village will not survive.

A small village near Cincinnati, Ohio, is struggling with an influx of Mauritanian illegal immigrants, with officials warning that they are facing an economic shortfall as a result and that the quality of life is being affected.

“If you look at 2021, 2022, the United States had seen a huge influx of immigrants from Mauritania. Somehow, a good number of them have landed in Lockland,” Lockland Village Administrator Doug Wehmeyer told Fox News Digital.

A Washington Post analysis in June found that over 15,000 residents from Mauritania came to the U.S. last year, a 2,800% increase over 2022, when just 543 arrived. Lockland, a village in the southwest of Ohio of about 3,500 people, has seen what it says is a large number of arrivals. The Post reported that there were 2,700 who settled in Ohio in 2023, with about half going to nearby Cincinnati.

Wehmeyer said that at least two of the nearby apartment complexes are over-occupied. Apartments should house four people apiece, and authorities are finding up to 12 people in each unit.

“You have an apartment building that’s . . . say, 80 units at four people per unit. That’s about 320 people. When you double or maybe even triple that population, the building systems aren’t designed to handle that.”

“So when you use the utilities, that’s backing up. We have instances where people are going in to take a shower and feces is running out of the drains, filling the bathtubs as it comes from a floor above. That’s compounded probably by the cooking methods that they use, which is a heavy grease-laden process.”

The Mauritanians are scared because of what Trump said about Haitians

He also noted that a building designed to have 320 people in it, but that may have significantly more, also comes with the risk of not having enough exits, and he said there have been issues with people getting out of buildings during fires.

He also noted the financial strain it has put on the small community. Illegal immigrants claiming asylum may not work right away, and it can be months before they are qualified for work permits if they claim asylum.

“So, most of the immigrants living in Lockland are unable to work. And if they are unable to work, they’re unable to pay taxes,” he said. “And they have essentially displaced the taxpaying residents of these 200 apartment units and filled them with non-tax-paying residents. We’re losing about $125,000 to 150,000 in revenue because of that.”

He says the village has requested help from congressional offices, and has met with a few, as well as state representatives and the governor’s office. He says that Lockland is looking for financial assistance to recoup the financial losses the village is facing, but believes progress is being made.

“I don’t know how they found our small village. We like it. We think it’s a great place to live, but the quality of life here is definitely being affected by this problem,” he said.

What a sole-less crime.

Three brazen thieves stole over 100 right-footed shoes during a booze-fueled robbery as the demoralized owner considered permanently closing his shop over the devastating blow to his business.

The owner of Sole Bros in Downtown Cincinnati, Hunter Emigh, shared on Facebook last week that he began receiving notifications from his security system at around 2 a.m. on Oct. 8 and saw three suspects inside his store pillaging his products.

The thieves made off with “over 100 right shoes taken, several full pairs, tons of clothing pieces, as well as other items and personal belongings,” Emigh wrote, along with security footage of the criminal act.

Security video from outside the store shows one of the thieves — wearing a red sweatsuit and gym bag — taking a swig from what appears to be a liquor bottle before breaking into the store, which held its grand opening in March.

That same thief was later seen calmly walking around the business showroom carrying multiple shoes in his arms.

A federal report on a tanker-truck crash a year ago in central Illinois that spilled a toxic chemical and killed five people includes an interview with a 17-year-old Ohio girl who concedes that the truck was forced off the road when she passed it with the minivan she was driving.

The tanker slowed and pulled to the right to allow the minivan to get back in the right-hand lane and avoid a head-on collision with oncoming traffic on the two-lane US 40 in Teutopolis on Sept. 29, 2023, according to dash-cam video from the truck also released late Wednesday by the National Transportation Safety Board.

“Oh, (expletive). Yeah. Oh, my goodness. Yep, totally my bad. Wow. Holy (expletive),” the girl said while watching the video from the ill-fated truck during an Oct. 4, 2023, Illinois State Police interview.

The tanker truck was carrying caustic anhydrous ammonia when it jack-knifed and hit a utility trailer parked just off the highway.

The trailer’s hitch punctured the tank, spilling about half of the 7,500-gallon load about 8:40 p.m. just west of Teutopolis, a community about 110 miles northeast of St. Louis.

Five people died as a result, including three family members who were near the road when the incident occurred.

About 500 people were evacuated for hours after the accident to spare them exposure to the hazardous plume from the chemical used by farmers to add nitrogen fertilizer to the soil and in large buildings as a refrigerant.

How many more people are going to die from being poisoned because of this bitch?
