These people are trying to ban smoking, because they love you so very much and sit at home at night worrying about your health.

They love you so dearly that they want to stop you from using butter and instead force you to use the much healthier alternative, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.

Their heart goes out to you to such an overwhelming degree that they will force vaccinate you to save you from the flu.

Seatbelt laws.

But if you’re obese, that’s fine. It’s very healthy to be obese and in fact, people should get fatter and fatter for health reasons, say they.

The Guardian:

Doctors are proposing a “radical overhaul” of how obesity is diagnosed worldwide amid concerns that a reliance on body mass index may be causing millions of people to be misdiagnosed.

More than 1 billion people are thought to be living with the condition that for decades has been diagnosed by measuring a person’s BMI (their ratio of height to weight) to estimate the amount of excess body fat they have.

However, there are fears BMI on its own is not a “reliable measure” of an individual’s health and may be resulting in both under- and over-diagnosis of obesity, with “negative consequences” for those affected and wider society.

Dozens of the world’s leading experts across a broad range of medical specialisms – including endocrinology, internal medicine, surgery, biology, nutrition and public health – are now calling for a “reframing” of the condition that is causing major harm on every continent and costing countries billions.

Relying only on BMI is “ineffective” because it is not a direct measure of fat, fails to reflect fat distribution around the body, and does not provide information about a person’s health, according to a report published by the experts in the Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology journal.

The proposed shake-up, endorsed by more than 75 medical organisations around the world, puts forward new ways to diagnose obesity based on other measures of excess body fat in addition to BMI, such as waist-to-hip ratio or waist-to-height ratio, as well as objective signs and symptoms of ill health.

At the moment, some people with excess body fat do not have a BMI that indicates they are living with obesity, meaning potentially serious health problems are going unnoticed and untreated. At the same time, others with a high BMI may be diagnosed with obesity despite maintaining normal organ and bodily functions, with no signs or symptoms of ongoing illness.

Prof Francesco Rubino, the chair of the Lancet commission which produced the report, said the changes would provide an opportunity for health systems globally to adopt a universal, clinically relevant definition of obesity and a more accurate method for its diagnosis.

He said: “The question of whether obesity is a disease is flawed because it presumes an implausible all-or-nothing scenario where obesity is either always a disease or never a disease. Evidence, however, shows a more nuanced reality. Some individuals with obesity can maintain normal organs’ function and overall health, even long term, whereas others display signs and symptoms of severe illness here and now.

BMI is frankly a fine measure. Sometimes the measurements can get complicated with top level fitness people,  that  is  only  an  issue  of  the  way  it is  measured.

If you measure it correctly, using more expensive and advanced methods, it always works on any body type and will give you a clear image of the person’s overall fitness with relation to muscle-to-fat ratio.

San Francisco Hires Mexican Lardbeast to Combat “Weight Stigma” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/18/san-francisco-hires-mexican-lardbeast-to-combat-weight-stigma/ Wed, 18 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000
Virgie Tovar, 42

Maybe weight stigma is a good thing?

Rhetorical question.

It’s obviously a good thing.

The idea that everyone should always be comfortable is a stupid, childish idea, and not even the people who promote it believe it. These are the same people going around talking about “white privilege” and how whites owe other people something because of their ancestors.

The Post Millennial:

An overweight “fat activist” disclosed that she has been hired by the City of San Francisco to provide guidance on the prevention of “weight stigma.” On Monday, Virgie Tovar reported the news to her more than 82,000 followers on Instagram. This comes after California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the state’s own version of DOGE, President-elect Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, which is meant to eliminate wasteful government spending.

Tovar, 42, wrote in the post: “I’m working with a team at the San Francisco Department of Public Health as a consultant on weight stigma & weight neutrality.” She added: “I’m UNBELIEVABLY proud to serve the city I’ve called home for almost 20 years in this way. This consultancy is an absolute dream come true, and it’s my biggest hope and belief that weight neutrality will be the future of public health.”

I’m sure the feeling’s mutual

Tovar, who has a master’s degree in sexuality studies from San Francisco State University, is an activist who is dedicated to the fight against weight discrimination and dieting. The Blaze reported that she is the author of several books such as “You Have the Right to Remain Fat” and “The Self-Love Revolution: Radical Body Positivity for Girls of Color.”

Tovar explained her campaign against unrealistic thin beauty standards in a 2017 interview unearthed by the publication.

“I was born a fat person into a fat-hating culture,” she said. “I’d made myself sick trying to lose weight. Even when I was trying my hardest, I wasn’t anywhere near a weight where people would say I was normal. This work felt like the only way I could survive. I wasn’t going to live a life of shame anymore.”

Tovar posted on her Instagram that in recent years she has gone “no contact” with her family.

Well. That is not surprising. All of these bizarre political activists have bizarre personal lives.

There’s some man in one of these photos.

Niggas is thirsty out there, apparently, but come on.

I Hope the Relatives of Obese People Don’t Start Assassinating Junk Food CEOs https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/12/i-hope-the-relatives-of-obese-people-dont-start-assassinating-junk-food-ceos/ Thu, 12 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

What is the argument against RFK’s agenda?

Given the situation?

Do people like diseases?

Is the left pro-disease?

The Guardian:

Americans spend more time living with diseases than people from other countries, according to a new study.

On Wednesday, the American Medical Association published its latest findings, revealing that Americans live with diseases for an average of 12.4 years. Mental and substance-use disorders, as well as musculoskeletal diseases, are main contributors to the years lived with disability in the US, per the study.

Women in the US exhibited a 2.6-year higher so-called healthspan-lifespan gap (representing the number of years spent sick) than men, increasing from 12.2 to 13.7 years or 32% beyond the global mean for women.

The latest overall healthspan-lifespan gap in the US marks an increase from 10.9 years in 2000 to 12.4 years in 2024, resulting in a 29% higher gap than the global mean.

The head of Smuckers, whose name is Smucker, came out and condemned RFK’s healthy agenda, and said that “snacking will continue.”

I just really hope that after an insurance company CEO was assassinated, no relatives of obese people decide to start assassinating the heads of these poison food companies.

What is the correlation between being obese and diseased and being an Israel-lover?

Government Tells People to Eat Less Meat https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/12/government-tells-people-to-eat-less-meat/ Thu, 12 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

The government is purposefully trying to kill people.

Red meat is the healthiest thing you can eat, by a lot.

Beans are not healthy. No one should be eating beans. That is food for poor Mexicans who can’t afford meat.

AP:

Americans should eat more beans, peas and lentils and cut back on red and processed meats and starchy vegetables, all while continuing to limit added sugars, sodium and saturated fat.

That’s the advice released Tuesday by a panel of nutrition experts charged with counseling the U.S. government about the 2025 edition of the dietary guidelines that will form the cornerstone of federal food programs and policy.

But the 20-member panel didn’t weigh in on the growing role of ultraprocessed foods that have been linked to health problems, saying there’s not enough evidence to tell people to avoid them.

Hahahahahahahaha.

And the group steered clear of updating controversial guidance on alcohol consumption, leaving that analysis to two outside reports expected to be released soon.

…

The panel, which met for nearly two years, was the first to focus on the dietary needs of Americans through what they called a “health equity lens,” said Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford, a Massachusetts General Hospital obesity expert who was part of the group. That meant considering factors such as household income, race, ethnicity and culture when recommending healthy diets. It will help ensure that the guidance “reflects and includes various population groups,” she said in an email.

The panel didn’t come to conclusions on ultraprocessed foods or alcohol

Ultraprocessed foods include the snacks, sugary cereals and frozen meals that make up about 60% of the American diet.

The panel considered more than 40 studies, including several that showed links between ultraprocessed foods and becoming overweight or developing obesity. But the nutrition experts had concerns with the quality of the research, leaving them to conclude that the evidence was too limited to make recommendations.

Yeah, we just don’t have enough proof that ultraprocessed foods are unhealthy, you know?

But we know for a fact meat is very bad.

That decision is likely to bump up against the views of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the nominee to lead the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, who has questioned potential conflicts of interest among members of the dietary guidelines panel and vowed to crack down on ultraprocessed foods that contribute to chronic disease.

…

The scientific report informs the dietary guidelines, which are updated every five years. Tuesday’s recommendations now go to HHS and the Agriculture Department, where officials will draft the final guidance set for release next year.

Starting Wednesday, the public will have 60 days to comment on the guidance. HHS and USDA officials will hold a public meeting Jan. 16 to discuss the recommendations.

The government healthcare complex is just as corrupt as every other part of the sickening Jewish US government.

These people get money from the food companies.

The healthiest thing anyone can do is eat more meat and fewer carbs. I don’t agree with this “carnivore” thing as a longterm lifestyle, which is just a meme, but if you’re trying to lose weight, you might as well only eat meat until you get to your desired weight.

If you only eat meat, you can eat until you’re full while losing weight.

People should also consider incorporating fasting.

New Study Says Nearly 75% of Americans Now Obese or Overweight! https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/11/16/new-study-says-nearly-75-of-americans-now-obese-or-overweight/ Sat, 16 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Related: RFK Named as Secretary of Health and Human Services!

Yikes!

Bobby Jr. has his work cut out for him!

Xinhua:

Nearly three quarters of U.S. adults are overweight or obese, according to a new study.

The findings have wide-reaching implications for the nation’s health and medical costs as it faces a growing burden of weight-related diseases, The New York Times reported.

The study, published in The Lancet on Thursday, revealed the striking rise of obesity rates across the country since 1990, when just over half of adults were overweight or obese, and showed how more people are becoming overweight or obese at younger ages than in the past. Both conditions can raise the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, and shorten life expectancy.

These numbers have always been super-high in America, because people just eat processed crap at a rate like nowhere else in the world, but 75% is higher than the last tally.

Also: please don’t blame black people. Black people are only 13% of the country. Even if all black people were obese, that wouldn’t change much. (You can blame blacks for the nation’s academic performance and the average IQ being lower than that of Northern Europe, but you can’t blame them for obesity.)

Who supports this? Why is it happening? How can America be the “leader of the free world” or the leader of anything at all when Americans can’t manage the basic realities of their personal health?

What if 75% of Americans were on fentanyl? Would you think this is a “leader nation”? Because being obese is a lot worse than being strung out on opioids.

The fact is, America is not a nation of leaders. It’s a country that is occupied by a Jewish overclass that dominates the world using the financial instruments and military might of a dying empire. The last thing these Jews who rule America want is a vigorous population inhabiting their slave state, because a vigorous population might decide they don’t want to be slaves.

I’ve long said that violent revolution is impossible for a number of different reasons, but the most obvious is how fat people are in this country. Can you imagine these slobs jumping in the beds of pickup trucks or running around in the woods?

Is Bobby the savior of the fats?

Probably not, frankly.

But the problem can be solved. It’s not that difficult if you don’t have Jews standing on your neck.

Here’s the fact: the masses of people are too simple to do anything other than eat whatever you put in front of them. It’s the same in every country, it’s just that in America, what is put in front of people is ultra-hyper-meta-processed chemical slop which cannot sustain a healthy human. You have to change what you are putting in front of people to eat. You have to have a culture that values home cooking.

You can see that the elite are not (usually) fat. There are not many fat people in the government or on the TV in general. Rich people (excluding Elon “The Quesadilla Compadre” Musk) are not fat. These people should be sharing the healthy diet with the masses, but they don’t.

A country cannot work if the elite do not care about the wellbeing of the peasantry. It’s not viable longterm or even medium term. The elite and the peasantry are synergetic social entities, and whether it is communism, where the peasants kill the elite, or America, where the elite let the peasants wallow in their own depravity, it cannot be sustained longterm.

Everything is salvageable, and fat people can stop being fat, but until Americans stop being fat, they cannot possibly be anything other than wastes of space.

Ozempic Costs a Lot of Money and Fails to Reduce Obesity-Related Problems https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/10/25/ozempic-costs-a-lot-of-money-and-fails-to-reduce-obesity-related-problems/ Fri, 25 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000

This so-called “miracle” weight loss drug comes with a hidden, dangerous cost to your health.

— Dr. Joseph Mercola (@mercola) October 23, 2024

Nothing in the world is free. Drugs that magically make you not obese anymore without requiring any willpower at all are going to have brutal side effects.

Will the side-effects be worse than the effects of obesity? Maybe not. Obesity is literally the most unhealthy thing in the world. But it’s like asking if a terminally depressed person would be better taking fentanyl. I’m sure fentanyl makes you feel better, but you need to be an adult and solve your own problems.

Someone in the media is being paid to use the brandname “Wegovy” instead of Ozempic in these negative news articles. The two drugs are the exact same thing, having the same active ingredient, semaglutide.

They are even both made by the same company, Denmark’s Novo Nordisk (now the most valuable company in Denmark, milking a fortune off the American fats). This makes it appear as though they released two versions of the same drug not because they are a little bit different from each other and they wanted to see which one worked better, but because they wanted to pin the bad headlines on one version while the other was widely prescribed (until it is banned for causing problems we’ve yet to see).

Ozempic is the one everyone is on, so Wegovy is the name used in all these articles.

Reuters:

Drugs like Wegovy may trim your waistline but not medical costs, according to an analysis of U.S. health insurance claims shared with Reuters.

The full-year cost of care for U.S. patients with obesity two years after starting on Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy or similar GLP-1 drugs was $18,507, on average. That represents a 46% jump over the average annual medical cost of $12,695 prior to taking the medication, data provided by pharmacy benefits manager Prime Therapeutics show.

Imagine that even before a $500 a month drug regiment, it cost over $12,000 just to keep these bulbous blobs alive.

Is it any wonder the medical establishment has no interest in promoting a healthy diet and exercise? These doctors are laughing all the way to the bank.

The costs for a similar control group of patients not taking the drugs grew by 14% for the same period.

Among GLP-1 patients, prescription drug costs drove most of the spending increase, but medical costs also climbed over the two-year period.

Over the two-year period, the analysis found “no reduction in obesity-related medical events,” such as heart attacks, strokes and diagnoses of type 2 diabetes, or use of prescription drugs for hypertension and high cholesterol, compared to the control group.

That’s actually confusing to me. I would have to give this a serious look, and see how long it takes for these things to go away if you stop being obese with a simple healthy diet and exercise routine. It’s possible that it takes your body longer than two years to recover, though that would be surprising.

The other option is that Ozempic has the same side-effects as being obese, which also does not seem to make much sense. I expected that it would cause immune system problems, and potentially completely unforeseen problems such as birth defects or weird cancers. Maybe heart attacks are not surprising, but the rest of it is.

It will probably be a few years until they finally tell you what the real side-effects are. I’m sure they more or less already know, but they will ride the scam for as long as possible, then eventually it will have to be banned because so many people died.

Right now they are only saying it causes serious problems if you overuse it.

If you’re fat, and I’m sure some of you are, just go read my articles about health and fitness. It’s not really difficult to lose weight. Frankly, you don’t even have to exercise. It makes it faster, but and helps deal with the recovery from being fat, but it’s not actually necessary.

Maybe it’s time I wrote another extensive health and fitness piece. I lose my own work. I tell people to “go read” such and such a thing, and I can’t even link it, because I don’t know where it is.

Boomers Living Longer Than Previous Generations But in Worse Health, Researchers Find https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/10/08/boomers-living-longer-than-previous-generations-but-in-worse-health-researchers-find/ Tue, 08 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Then entire medical establishment is geared towards keeping homosexuals and boomers alive forever. It’s big money.

If boomers were healthier, they wouldn’t need all of this medical intervention. If they were healthier, they would also probably realize how stupid it is to live to be 100 years old.

The Guardian:

Baby boomers are living longer but are in worse health than previous generations were at the same age, despite advances in medicine and greater awareness of healthy lifestyles, a global study shows.

Researchers found people in their 50s and 60s were more likely to have serious health problems than people who were born before or during the second world war when they reached that age.

The results cannot be explained by people living longer, experts at the University of Oxford and University College London (UCL) said. Obesity, type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease and other diseases were all affecting people at younger ages.

Rates of illness and disability increased across successive generations during the last century, according to the findings published in the Journals of Gerontology.

…

Researchers analysed health data for more than 100,000 people between 2004 and 2018, covering several generations of people aged 50 and above across England, the US and Europe.

They found increasing rates of chronic disease, especially when comparing people born between 1936 and 1945 and those born from 1955 to 1959.

…

Levels of grip strength, a good measure of overall muscle strength and healthy ageing, decreased across generations in England and the US, but either increased or remained constant in Europe.

The children of the boomers are going to die much younger, in part because they don’t have the money for all of these medical interventions and in another part because their boomer parents fed them poison slop when they were small children, something that the boomer’s own parents did not do to them.

Fatmerica Thanks Ozempic for First Ever Drop in Obesity https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/09/25/fatmerica-thanks-ozempic-for-first-ever-drop-in-obesity/ Wed, 25 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Why did it take so long to think to give Americans fat pills?

Daily Mail:

There are early signs that obesity rates may have decreased in the US for the first time.

A report released Tuesday by the CDC found that 40 percent of US adults were obese from 2021 to 2023, down from 42 percent from 2017 to 2020.

This is the first time there has been a year-on-year decrease since the CDC began regularly tracking the metric in 2013, though the change is not statistically significant.

At the very least, it means obesity rates are not increasing anymore. The downward tick comes amid the rise of Ozempic and other weight-loss drugs, though experts say it’s slightly too early to know if they are playing a role.

Despite the tentative positive trend, obesity rates are still higher than 10 years ago, when 38 percent of adults had a BMI over 30, and more Americans are morbidly obese than ever.

What a simple solution.

Great job, America.

We knew you could do it.

The Science Says 6-Year-Olds Should be Given Ozempic https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/09/12/the-science-says-6-year-olds-should-be-given-ozempic/ Thu, 12 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Remember a few days ago when YouTube announced it was going to limit teenagers’ access to fitness videos?

My paranoid brain refuses to believe in coincidences.

Daily Mail:

Weight loss jabs could be prescribed to children as young as six after trials found they slashed obesity and other health problems.

Those who took liraglutide for just over a year reduced their BMI by more than seven per cent and had lower blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Experts suggest the discovery could one day help to turn the tide on the nation’s childhood obesity crisis, helping them to ‘lead healthier, more productive lives’.

More than one in five children in England are overweight when they start school, rising to one in three by the time they leave for secondary school.

This can raise their chances of a number of chronic conditions in childhood and later life, such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes and some cancers.

Jabs such as Ozempic, Mounjaro and Wegovy have been linked to a growing list of health benefits in adults, with a study earlier this year showing they cut chances of heart problems by a fifth.

These drugs haven’t even been out for long, and people are already having nasty side effects

Last year a study of adolescents aged 12 to 18 found that giving the jabs for 16 months halved obesity rates, when given alongside lifestyle counselling.

In the youngest patient trial so far, the drug or a placebo was given to 82 children aged six to 12, with an average BMI of 31, putting them in the obese range.

Some 56 children were given a daily 3mg injection or their maximum tolerated dose for 56 weeks and 26 a dummy drug, while being encouraged to eat healthily and exercise.

By the end of the trial, the average body mass index was 5.8 per cent lower for those taking liraglutide and increased by 1.6 per cent in the those given a placebo – a difference of 7.4 per cent.

While putting on weight is normal as children grow, the average weight gain was a 1.6 per cent increase on liraglutide compared to a 10 per cent increase for the dummy jab.

Almost half of children (46 per cent) on the drug, known by brand name Saxenda, had a 5 per cent lower BMI.

This compared to just eight per cent of children on the placebo, according to the findings published in the New England Journal of Medicine and presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in Madrid.

Professor Claudia Fox, of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Minneapolis, said the drug could help where lifestyle interventions have failed.

She said: ‘The results of this study offer considerable promise to children living with obesity.

To date, children have had virtually no options for treating obesity. They have been told to ‘try harder’ with diet and exercise.

Just don’t feed them crap.

That’s all you have to do to make children lose weight.

You don’t need any special diets, just cut out the processed foods, and the kids will lose weight naturally.

‘Now with the possibility of a medication that addresses the underlying physiology of obesity, there is hope that children living with obesity can live healthier, more productive lives.’

…

The findings are likely to add to growing calls drugs including liraglutide, which is currently prescribed to adults with a BMI over 30 on the NHS, are extended to include obese children.

However, side effects such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, were common, occurring in eight out of ten children receiving liraglutide half in the placebo group.

More serious reactions were had by 12.5 per cent of those on the drug, compared to 7.7 per cent in the control group, causing one in ten on the jab giving up before the end of the trial.

Commenting on the findings, Dr Nerys Astbury, associate professor diet & obesity at the University of Oxford, said: ‘These promising findings open up the possibility that at some time soon there will be safe and effective medications available for treating obesity in children and adolescents.

They said the thing!

A few years from now, lots of unpleasant side effects are gonna start popping up from these drugs.

Many people will very likely be left permanently disable by them.

That said… if you can’t change your kids diet because you’re retarded or whatever, you might as well play Russian roulette with these drugs.

We know obesity kills people. We don’t actually know yet that the drugs cause problems.

YouTube to Restrict Videos About Fitness and Weight for Teenagers https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/09/10/youtube-to-restrict-videos-about-fitness-and-weight-for-teenagers/ Tue, 10 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000

We have to protect the children from being fit and healthy.

We need fat kids.

We need a bunch of little piglets.

They are very profitable.

The Guardian:

YouTube is to stop recommending videos to teenagers that idealise specific fitness levels, body weights or physical features, after experts warned such content could be harmful if viewed repeatedly.

The platform will still allow 13- to 17-year-olds to view the videos, but its algorithms will not push young users down related content “rabbit holes” afterwards.

YouTube said such content did not breach its guidelines but that repeated viewing of it could affect the wellbeing of some users.

YouTube’s global head of health, Dr Garth Graham, said: “As a teen is developing thoughts about who they are and their own standards for themselves, repeated consumption of content featuring idealised standards that starts to shape an unrealistic internal standard could lead some to form negative beliefs about themselves.”

This bitch’s biggest problem is that she has no self-esteem. She used to have some, but she ate it.

YouTube said experts on its youth and families advisory committee had said that certain categories that may be “innocuous” as a single video could be “problematic” if viewed repeatedly.

The new guidelines, now introduced in the UK and around the world, apply to content that: idealises some physical features over others, such as beauty routines to make your nose look slimmer; idealises fitness or body weights, such as exercise routines that encourage pursuing a certain look; or encourages social aggression, such as physical intimidation.

YouTube will no longer make repeated recommendations of those topics to teenagers who have registered their age with the platform as logged-in users. The safety framework has already been introduced in the US.

…

In the UK, the newly introduced Online Safety Act requires tech companies to protect children from harmful content, as well as considering how their algorithms may expose under-18s to damaging material. The act refers to algorithms’ ability to cause harm by pushing large amounts of content to a child over a short space of time, and requires tech companies to assess any risk such algorithms could pose to children.

Sonia Livingstone, a professor of social psychology at the London School of Economics, said a recent report by the Children’s Society charity underlined the importance of tackling social media’s impact on self-esteem. A survey in the Good Childhood report showed that nearly one in four girls in the UK were dissatisfied with their appearance.

Considering a lot more than 1 in 4 teenagers are overweight or obese, that number should be much, much higher.

Stop worrying about type 2 diabetes and start being offended by this
