A small neo-Nazi rally of the sort that has been taking place every year for decades is getting a lot of press in a post-Charlottesville America.

New York Times:

A neo-Nazi rally outside of Atlanta on Saturday drew only a few participants and did not last very long.

But the event still upended Newnan, Ga., a city of about 38,000, for an afternoon as downtown shops closed and counterprotesters gathered. Hasco Craver, the assistant city manager, said more than 700 law enforcement officers were present from 42 agencies.

Members of the National Socialist Movement, a white nationalist organization that has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, gained a permit last month for a rally from 3 to 5 p.m. at a park. Organizers estimated the rally could draw 50 to 100 people, city officials said.

Their plans called to mind a rally of white nationalists in Charlottesville, Va., in August that spun out of control, with demonstrators and counterprotesters clashing in the streets.

But when rally participants converged on Greenville Street Park in Newnan shortly after 4 p.m., it appeared there were only about two dozen white nationalists on a platform there.

Yeah, that does not seem like a low-ball estimate.

Having clicked through a livestream of the event, that seems about like what was there.

In a speech, Jeff Schoep, who leads the National Socialist Movement and was also at the rally in Charlottesville, criticized illegal immigration, skinny jeans and the removal of Confederate monuments, adding that he was “standing on behalf of white nationalism, white patriotism and our history as American people.”

In front of the rally participants was a smattering of reporters in a grassy area that was mostly empty. Beyond that were barricades and dozens of black-clad, helmet-wearing law enforcement officers lining the street that bordered the park.

And beyond all of that, at least 100 people stood in opposition to the gathering, including some activists of the anti-fascist group known as antifa.

The counterprotesters had been demonstrating downtown for hours before the white nationalist rally. They marched through the streets and waved signs that said “Smash white supremacy” and “Love thy neighbor,” while a helicopter pulled a banner that said “Newnan believes in love for all.”

Burt Colucci, a member of the National Socialist Movement, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution there was no particular reason Newnan was chosen for the rally.

There were a few confrontations between counterprotesters and the police. City officials said about 10 arrests were made but it was unclear who was charged or for what. By 6 p.m., downtown Newnan seemed calm.

Again, for those who do not know, this is something that has been going on for decades.

Much of the media is trying to spin this is “all that remains of the Alt-Right,” but that is the opposite of the truth.

Basically what happened was, at Charlottesville, the NSM and the associated groups came together with the much more populated Alt-Right movement, creating an event with thousands of people.

After the problems associated with Charlottesville, the Alt-Right groups have backed away from these sorts of planned, publicly announced protests, and what remains is what was always there. After the collapse of TWP (an NSM allied group part of a larger “Nationalist Front” alliance), due to the strange domestic situation which developed involving that group’s leadership, this event Saturday was even smaller than it would have been a couple years ago.

Remember

I just want everyone to remember that the Alt-Right did not begin as a protest movement, and its stint as a protest movement largely started and ended with Charlottesville.

The Alt-Right began as a cultural and social movement associated with /pol/, the Daily Stormer, Groyper, The Right Stuff, Identity Europa and Richard Spencer.

Following the election of Donald Trump, the idea of trying the protest movement scene was hit on, and it turned out to be a media disaster and resulted in imprisonments and lawsuits.

Of course, it wasn’t all bad, and indeed I believe it had to happen in order for us to understand that this isn’t the direction that we want to go in as a movement.

Since then, we have gone back into the space where we were winning, focusing on creating media that reaches out to young people and brings them on-board with our agenda, while also focusing on building real-life communities, and working toward putting together organizations which will give us the needed infrastructure for the long-haul as a force of change in America.

So please.

Don’t let the media gaslight you by pointing to these NSM protests and saying “this is all that is left of the Alt-Right.” The NSM never was Alt-Right, they simply joined us at Charlottesville for one event, and now we’re going back to doing what we do and they’re going on doing what they do.

That is all.

On Saturday, around 140 white rebels, including personalities like Matthew Heimbach, Mike Enoch, Jeff Schoep, Hunter Wallace and the League of the South, marched on a town in Eastern Kentucky at the invitation of Pikeville residents to bring national attention to the plight of the local folks.

Tucked away by the Appalachian mountains, a story of rampant de-industrialization, misery, collapsing life expectancy and big Jewish pharma profiting off it all has been unfolding – a national scandal being ignored by the media and uniparty politicians because the victims have the wrong skin color.

Leftist groups from Philadelphia and Atlanta didn’t like this, so they raised money on GoFundMe for weapons and transported around 30-40 obese lesbians to go to rural Appalachia and check Pikeville’s privilege. When they got there, around 60-70 mainstream liberals and Democrats joined up with them for an “Anti-racist rally,” having no qualms standing shoulder to shoulder with people waving hammer and sickle flags and chanting “Kill Whitey” and “Black Lives Matter.”

Instead of the Alt-Right cannibalizing one another over “optics,” it would be more fruitful to shed light on theirs!

The Good

The combined forces of the Judeo-Left were by most reports either equal or inferior to the Nationalist showing. They had a lot of time to plan and mobilized all their resources, the reason their numbers were thin was because the Antifa are now afraid of the ‘Fascists’ – in fact, they aren’t even able to hold Berkeley.

At first, the few dozen Antifa were emboldened, assuming that the 15-20 early comers were going to be the extent of the rally, which would make the logistics of a post-rally attack much easier. Then, from behind, about 120 radical nationalists dressed in black and proudly embracing their Second Amendment rights appeared, sending shock waves through the crowd of the gathered anti-white mercenaries of neo-liberalism.

All they could do at that point is blow on vuvuzelas and hope Pikeville locals wouldn’t be able to hear the message of the only groups representing their interests. While they did a good job in protecting Pikeville residents and businesses from Antifa, the local municipality helped the Leftists by whipping up hysteria and baseless fear in the town. The cops did their part in undermining the First Amendment by more or less heavily dissuading people who wanted to go downtown to see the rally.

This may be the first time in decades where groups of this kind outnumbered the Leftists and “anti-racists” on the street. By showing we can keep our rallies safe and are able to fight back if necessary, the millions of hidden Alt-Right and Nationalsocialists in America will be more eager to come. I guarantee the next protest of this kind will have double the number of nationalists.

Overall, this rally is a sleeper hit, and the people counter-signaling it are fools. The brave patriots who attended this rally knowing all the dangers are examples to follow.

The Bad

I’ll preface my criticism by saying I have a lot of respect for the vigor of the National Socialist Movement. Way before the Alt-Right came to be, it was Jeff Schoep and the NSM who rallied to the calls of beleaguered whites everywhere, marching, outnumbered sometimes by the thousands, for our race and Western civilization. As veterans of the struggle and possessors of balls of brass, they deserve more respect than they get in some circles. I assume any members of this organization understand that this is all in good faith in the quest of our shared objective of saving our race.

At the Pikeville rally, there was an issue of discipline and training. In any political organization, discipline is as important as courage.

The point of the Pikeville rally was to show local citizens that we are standing up for them. I actually support unironic use of the Roman salute, but only in its historic context as a gesture of honor to fellow comrades and leaders. When the goal is to lure Antifa to take off their “peaceful” masks, triggering them by Roman saluting them is also appropriate.

But at this demonstration, where nationalists outnumbered the increasingly irrelevant left, the two NSM affiliated individuals who were doing Roman salutes at a local media outlet zooming in on them committed an extreme propaganda error. It’s not so much the Roman salute itself, but that the image projected was that the rally was about shock value rather than real issues impacting local whites.

The citizens of Pikeville agree with 99% of what the Nationalists there believe, but superficial blunders like this, and the poor attire choice of wearing Schutzstaffel collars, distract from the frame we’re trying to build, and  cause people to tune-out.

Additionally, local media coverage was for the most part fair. This was broadcast on the eve of the rally, and was an opportunity to get locals out in defiance of police fear-mongering. Reporters in the area gave the Nationalists time to give their side of the story, and many hit it out of the park. While some internet people are claiming the “aesthetics” of the group were the problem (some had tattoos or remnants of piercings), it is character and intelligence that wins the day.

Here is one example of a Traditionalist Worker Party activist being interviewed. He has the look some internet people are complaining about, but is well educated in what we’re fighting for, and presents our worldview to Pikeville in a very disciplined and compelling way.

The National Socialist Movement has been undergoing reforms in their aesthetics, but increasing education and discipline of certain rank-and-file is more important than changing their flag. Not everyone needs to be an eloquent speaker, but all members of a group should be able to hold their own in a convincing and sympathetic (to observers) manner when asked to explain their vision.

In the above clip, there’s Third Reich memorabilia laying around, which should’ve at least been put away when the press was arriving. Again, optics aren’t everything, but this kind of stuff just triggers inculcated defenses of common folk who otherwise agree with us from joining. After winning them over, you can teach them the truth about the Third Reich, but getting them to listen first is the most important part.

I’m in no place to tell them what to do, but few will disagree that if the NSM toned some of the outward eccentricities, they would have far greater appeal along with way fewer agent provocateurs/federal informants/misfits harassing them. There are many good people in the NSM who give their all for this struggle, I don’t want them to miss the historic moment we’re in.

It might seem ironic seeing as I am writing this in the nation’s number one Alt-Right/National Socialist publication known for breaking all these taboos, but a popular political movement on the street is a whole different animal.

The Critics

There is a lot of space within the Alt-Right for a diversity of tactics, and the goal should be to back one another up and see who has the most success. The Paleo-Conservative types that are putting down the people who showed up to fight for our race in Pikeville should shut their mouths, especially since they get branded Nazis and silenced anyway. The only distinction is that the Paleocons straddling the Alt-Right appease Jews and don’t fight back.

While they’re right that the Nazi uniform/swastika flag model doesn’t work, their model of predicating everything they do on what country club Republicans think is just as obsolete. Those people are never going to join our ranks (with some notable exceptions, of course), not because of how we look or even act, but because their prestige and money right now is more important to them than the future of their people.

The winning model is the European one: Golden Dawn, Nordic Resistance Movement – these are the groups growing exponentially. There is no reason their methods can’t be applied to America, with a few adaptations. Being a National Socialist isn’t about flying a Swastika or having an edgy tattoo, it’s about what you project from the inside: Honor, strength, courage, pride, love, loyalty and most importantly: confidence in the final victory.

In the end, good-faith criticism (like what I’ve included in this article) should be encouraged. A system of criticism and self-criticism is important for any organization to expand and succeed. But those who engage in this out of ego or cowardice should be ignored.

Respect to the comrades who showed up in Pikeville. This revolution is a work-in-progress, there’s going to be bumps on the way, but the barely opposed success of this rally is a gigantic leap forward.

Though I agree with what Striker wrote, I think that there is criticism here that is not being addressed, which I am fit to address because it is also my own criticism.

Striker addresses here the paleocon criticism, but I don’t think that paleocons are the biggest critics of the NSM aesthetic, nor is the largest criticism based on the idea that the aesthetic is too edgy. I think the biggest issue people who are not paleocons take with it is that it comes across as “not cool” or “unhip,” and is thus unlikely to appeal to large numbers of normal young white guys. I am personally unclear as to who the target demographic of the NSM is, and I think it would be a huge step in the right direction for them to make clear exactly who super-serious, unironic Nazi uniforms are supposed to be appealing to, and to provide data to support that whatever target group that is finds this aesthetic appealing.

Like Striker, I feel that a lot of the criticism is overdone, and the event itself is a net-gain, however, I must say that as a relatively normal millennial, if I knew nothing about white nationalism, the NSM’s presentation at this event would not make me want to learn more.

Obviously a street movement cannot be ironic in the way that an internet movement is, but that doesn’t mean it cannot be cool and appeal directly the young white male demographic we are tying to appeal to.

I agree 100% with Striker’s assertion that the American model should be based on that of the Golden Dawn and Nordfront. But both of these organizations have put a whole lot of effort into being both hip and sexy.

All of the optics the NSM presents are apparently explicitly intended to be neither hip nor sexy.

Anyway, I’m not going to say that the rally was a net negative, I don’t think it was at all, but I also don’t think that anyone who saw these guys on TV in Nazi uniforms waving swastika flags is going to be compelled to learn more about our movement.

Whether or not something works should be considered in scientific terms.

In advertisement there is something called the A/B test, which is something that anyone intending to form a street movement should be well aware of.

The Golden Dawn and Nordfront have passed this test by creating an aesthetic which is both serious and sexy, and that is the model we need to be following. Nazi uniforms, swastika flags and people in bad physical shape are a part of an aesthetic which has been tried for a very long time in this country, with very little in terms of results.

As the Alt-Right moves on to the streets, I am extremely adamant that we should not tie ourselves to this particular image.

We’re not going to be wearing Pepe t-shirts and holding up “/pol/” signs, but we need an aesthetic that the average disenfranchised white male sees and wants to be a part of.

On January 8th, 2017, 30 representatives from the Traditionalist Worker Party, National Socialist Movement, Soldiers of Odin and The Right Stuff defied the freezing temperatures on short notice to converge in front of Chicago’s City Hall and express rage at Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s purposely negligent Jewish regime

They also delivered a message to the local population: the days of white people being easy targets are OVER!

The soaring crime rate of Chicago, where 71% of murderers are black, came to a symbolic crescendo with the South African style kidnapping and torture of a young disabled white man by blacks. While the attackers in question were being interrogated over a noise complaint, the young man was able to escape, but make no mistake that they would’ve murdered him were it not for this stroke of luck.

Chicago, like most other American industrial centers, is a canary in the coal mine of what is coming for the rest of America as the white population continues to decline.

This demonstration is an example of the substantial and unprecedented progress patriotic forces in the United States are making in transitioning a massive internet activist bloc to a street-based protest movement. The people on the internet are important because they tap their enormous networks to inform the public, thus placing enormous amounts of pressure on Jews to begrudgingly cover hate crimes against whites, while men on the street are needed in order to provide physical defense for decent white working families – who in today’s America are often atomized in their cities and abandoned by their government – hence, vulnerable to predation.

The group of dedicated fighters in attendance was composed of mostly young men, bolstered by the leadership and wisdom provided by veterans. Contrary to popular belief, it is the Left that is increasingly soft and gray, while our organizations are swelling with the vigor that serves as the driving force of every monumental historic shift.

This new template of direct white action against both systematic and street injustices is here to stay. We’ve got the brains and the brawn, and our foes constantly denigrating and even attacking us as a class for our race can expect whites to start barking back.

The message to take from this event is clear: members of our folk who are victimized or castaway can soon start counting on us to push back on their behalf.

The Russian government has come out and condemned us, officially. Which I think is really gay.

Russian Foreign Ministry’s Human Rights Obudsman Kostantin Dolgov said Wednesday that there are up to 1,000 neo-Nazi organizations operating legally in the United States, Russian English-language outlet Sputnik reports.

I’m not sure where he got these numbers, because this is much more extreme than the kooky SPLC’s numbers of around 200.  For my part, the only active group which could responsibly called a “neo-Nazi organization” that I’m aware of is the NSM.  We here at the Daily Stormer have accepted the title of “neo-Nazi,” and seem to fit the description, but we are not an organization.  More of a website.

All of the other actual organizations – National Youth Front, TradYouth, etc. – avoid the “neo-Nazi” label and do not use National Socialist symbols.

I will just note here that I do think we need more openly neo-Nazi organizations in the US.  Maybe skip the costumes and swastikas, but remain unapologetically NS.  Something like National Action would be fantastic.  As you are all aware, I will do whatever I can to help any such organization.

Dolgov argued that the number of these organizations could quickly increase, and that we could become the “political mainstream.”

Why he would be against that, when we would obviously end hostilities toward Russia if we did become the mainstream, I have no idea.

“Officially, there are almost 1,000 extremist neo-Nazi groups which are legally acting [in the United States],” Dolgov said, speaking in Russia’s lower house of parliament.

Russia has regularly been citing the shootings of “unarmed teens” as a reason why the US is doomed, when in fact it is an over-abundance of unarmed teens and their Jew masters which is dooming the US.

If Russia likes unarmed teens, we can surely send them some of ours. We have quite the surplus.

Let’s just hope the prediction comes true and we soon break into the mainstream.

The media is parading about, gloating that a NSM rally Chattanooga, Tennessee drew more counter-protesters than protesters.

However, they were still compelled to cover it and Jesse Jackson was compelled to speak on it.

NY Daily News:

A few dozen members of the National Socialist Movement held an anti-immigration rally at the Hamilton County Courthouse in Chattanooga, but the Times Free Press reported a few hundred people came out to counter-protest.

The members heckled the neo-Nazi supporters from across the street as authorities separated the protesters with an orange barricade.

Chants included “Hey, hey, ho, white supremacy has got to go” and “Nazis go home,” the newspaper reported.

Another man heckled the Swastika flag-waving members over their lack of participants.

“Is that all the people you brought? That’s sad, I was at a Comic Con last week and it had twice your numbers,” the man said, according to a video from the event.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson visited a church in Chattanooga on Friday and urged people to stay away from the rally. He said these events are meant to be provocative and protestors should not put fuel on the fire, the newspaper reported.

But that didn’t stop people from bringing signs and other creative ways to taunt the neo-Nazi organization.h

You would almost think the NSM represented some type of threat to society, rather than a fringe group of people who think differently but hold absolutely no political power.  I mean, are not protests generally against something which either is effecting society or has the ability to do so, rather than running people down for daring to question the official dogma of society?

Mexicans, who wish to remain in the US and feel that they are being persecuted if anyone even thinks about asking them to return to their country of origin, evoked the Holocaust of the Jews by pinning yellow “Mexican” stars on themselves.

I’ll be the Jews loved that.

The fact that a small group of Neo-Nazis draw this much attention demonstrates just how much the establishment fears the ideology of National Socialism.

This segment from the local news in Detroit is less than moving, in either direction.  It leaves you feeling mostly bored.

Why does Jeff Schoep have such a hard time answering the question “are you an Antisemite?”

It seems the proper answer to that question, to be delivered without flinching is either “yes” or “obviously.”  You could also say “uh – duuhhh.” He was not asked if he thought every people had a right to their own homeland.

I don’t mean to attack Jeff.  I understand that it is a lot of pressure to get interviewed by these people.  I also understand there is a line of thought which follows that it is better to be as non-offensive as possible when dealing with the public.  I disagree with this, fundamentally, as the people find extremism a lot more exciting than skirting questions.  And it seems to me if you are literally going to dress up like a Nazi and wave a Swastika flag, you are even more obliged to be upfront about your positions.

Jeff succeeded, I think, in not coming cross as offensive.  And I guess that was what he was trying to do.  It is hard to walk away from that clip being scared of the boogieman Nazis.  But it is also hard to walk away feeling his group is particularly interesting.

And Rocky didn’t even want to do the interview?  Why would you not want an interview with the media?

The whole thing is just a bit disparaging.  I am not a neo-Nazi.  It made pretty good sense in Rockwell’s day, when the actual NSDAP had only been destroyed a bit over a decade earlier.  But now, it is all of this is a bit played out.  What I am interested in is a popular people’s movement.  Which I don’t think anyone in any “Nazi” group actually believes they are going to be. Clearly, the best way to go about this is to be normal, and speak frankly.  Dressing up in costumes is not being normal, and trying to present yourself as totally peaceful and reasonable by modern liberal standards is not being frank.

People want something they can connect to.  Though it would be difficult to be offended by Schoep, it would be even more difficult for the average American to picture themselves dressing up in a NSDAP uniform and giving a straight-arm salute.  It was the same thing with Craig Cobb – most White Americans who have been subject to force integration by this HUD diversification program understand, quite well, that it would be much better to live around only White people.  But they don’t want to spray paint Swastikas on their homes or drunkenly shout profanities at town meetings.

All of the “White power” stuff is unnecessary and alienating to normal people.  It is much more appealing to say “come on, this is ridiculous.” Normal people can recognize the situation as ridiculous. 

I consider myself a pretty normal person.  I did not grow up hating black people, and still don’t.  I didn’t ever much care for Jews, but I have hung out with them, and not judged them until they deserved to be.  I have developed a view of the world which is not “radical,” it is simply an objective evaluation of the situation.  And I can say what I believe, honestly, without any need to soften it, because the facts speak for themselves, and with liberalism so extreme, and the popular “right” taking a hard left, people are ready to hear them.

As it stands, the Daily Stormer is dramatically more influential than the NSM and the ANP combined, and yet here sits Commander Anglin, without a single media outlet ringing him up.

A California prosecutor says a 12-year-old boy who shot and killed his neo-Nazi father two years ago should be incarcerated in a state juvenile justice facility for his own safety.

Riverside County prosecutor Michael Soccio told Superior Court Judge Jean Leonard during a sentencing hearing Friday that the boy’s crime is one of the most serious imaginable.

The boy’s mother wants him sent to a privately run jail where she believes he will be safer and receive better rehabilitative treatment.

The National Socialist Movement joins infamous Leith resident, Craig Cobb, to scope out property and clarify — in town hall fashion — their intentions. They say they’re not white supremacists. Rather, they call themselves white civil rights activists. Hundreds of protesters, however, disagree.

“The people of Leith do not want you here.” Protesters from around the state speak out, but representatives of the National Socialist Movement are not deterred. They say Leith resident, Craig Cobb, has a right to stay despite protests against his pro-white message. “The National Socialist Movement is a white civil rights organization. We represent the interests of white people. The blacks have the NAACP to represent black interests. You have La Raza representing Mexican interests. All the different racial groups have their own,” says Jeff Schoep, Commander, National Socialist Movement. When asked for the definition of “white,” he says it means “pure white” — “of European descent.”

Commander” Schoep as he’s known in the National Socialist Movement, insists theirs is a non-violent organization to promote the interests of white people. Not everyone is hearing it. “As humans, they can be wherever they want to be, but they’re representing hate, and I have bi-racial babies and they’re hating what I brought out of love, and ya know, love has no color,” says protestor Christine Yellowbird.

The National Socialist Movement says they intend to assume legal control of the local government, but insist they don’t want to exile anyone. “We do want to bring people in, but our idea is not to throw anybody out. You can’t do that in America,” says Schoep.
