This is a big narrative problem, isn’t it?

Aren’t we supposed to believe that everyone in North Korea is oppressed and longs to go to South Korea so they can become a suicidal incel?

That’s certainly what I was led to believe. And yet soliders, with an open opportunity to join the South, have no interest in doing so.

AP:

South Korea’s spy agency told lawmakers on Monday that two North Korean soldiers who were captured by Ukrainian forces while fighting alongside Russian forces in Russia’s Kursk border region haven’t expressed a desire to seek asylum in South Korea.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he’s willing to hand over the soldiers to North Korea if the country’s authoritarian leader, Kim Jong Un, arranges for an exchange with Ukrainian prisoners of war in Russia. Zelenskyy said one of the North Korean soldiers wishes to stay in Ukraine while the other wants to return to his country, which was consistent with interview videos released by his government. “If Kim Jong Un even remembers these citizens of his and is capable of organizing an exchange for our warriors being held in Russia, we are ready to transfer such soldiers. Undoubtedly there will be more POWs from North Korea,” Zelenskyy said in an address late Sunday. He said in a separate posting on the social media platform X that “there may be other options” for North Korean prisoners who don’t wish to go back.

In a closed-door briefing at South Korea’s National Assembly, the National Intelligence Service confirmed its participation in the questioning of the North Korean soldiers by Ukrainian authorities. The agency said the soldiers haven’t expressed a request to resettle in South Korea, according to two lawmakers who attended the meeting.

Here’s what I would want to know: do any of the South Koreas want to defect to the North?

Isn’t “sex” enough of a reason that most of the young males in South Korea would prefer to move to the North? Just as a basic matter, aside from the complexities of political systems, the North Korean system allows for men to get married and have children, while the Southern system prevents that.

What more would a young man need to know?

Zileienskiyiye is very proud of himself, capturing these North Koreans.

Great job, my neo-Nazi Jewish buddy.

Really nice work, capturing two soliders.

Daily Mail Retracts Fake News Story with Fake Image of North Korean Soldiers in Russia https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/06/daily-mail-retracts-fake-news-story-with-fake-image-of-north-korean-soldiers-in-russia/ Fri, 06 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

🇬🇧🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️🚨 BREAKING: DAILY MAIL PUBLISHES FAKE ABOUT NORTH KOREANS!

These people will just publish fake shit to start wars.

It never ends with these people.

RT:

The Daily Mail has had to retract a story which falsely claimed to provide evidence that female North Korean soldiers are assisting Russia in the Ukraine conflict. The image upon which the report was based turned out to be doctored.

The story originally published by the British tabloid on Wednesday claimed that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un had sent women “to fight as cannon fodder for [Russian President] Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.” The allegation was based on a picture of two women in uniforms, which the newspaper claimed was taken in Zheleznogorsk, a large city in the northwest of Kursk Region. The women were identified as sisters “Wei and Lin.”

The fake image is apparently based on a still from a video published last year by a Donetsk-linked channel, featuring twin sisters, who tell a camera operator that they are 25 years old and come from the city of Makeevka. Both claim to have been serving in armed forces since 2014, initially as members of the Donetsk militia.

In a correction, the Daily Mail said later in the day that the fabricated photograph had been provided to it by a “trusted freelance reporter” and apologized for “confusion caused” by its erroneous reporting.

They don’t even look Korean.

The Daily Mail is a goofy and pornographic tabloid, which has no credibility in the first place. But what will happen is, they will publish the fake news, then other sources will cite them, like “well, we can’t confirm it, but the Daily Mail has proved it.” Then when the hoax gets exposed, everyone who copied it just says “how were we supposed to know the Daily Mail was making that shit up?”

🇰🇷🚨‼️ SUMMARY OF THE CRAZY EVENTS IN SOUTH KOREA:

1) The president of South Korea expected an impeachment from the opposition.

2) To prevent that, he declared martial law banning all political activity!

3) The Korean army came and closed off the parliament to prevent MPs to… pic.twitter.com/Ez5UcQutFR

— Lord Bebo (@MyLordBebo) December 3, 2024

So, this guy declared martial law. He published a document saying he was shutting down the entire government and sending the military to take over because the opposition is working with North Korea.

Frankly, I have no idea what the context of this is. People on Twitter are claiming all kinds of things, but the smarter people are admitting they don’t really understand what happened.

It was a very weird scene.

It seems the country is incredibly unstable.

The Guardian:

South Korea’s rightwing president has been forced to back down after he unexpectedly declared martial law only to face unanimous opposition from the national assembly, in the most serious challenge to the country’s democracy since the 1980s.

President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law late on Tuesday amid a dispute with opposition parties he accused of pro-North Korean sympathies and anti-state activities.

But after some of the tensest hours in the country’s recent history, Yoon said troops would return to their barracks and the order would be lifted following a cabinet meeting.

“Just a moment ago, there was a demand from the national assembly to lift the state of emergency, and we have withdrawn the military that was deployed for martial law operations,” Yoon said in a televised address early on Wednesday morning.

“We will accept the National Assembly’s request and lift the martial law through the cabinet meeting.”

The cabinet approved a motion to lift the order shortly after, prompting jubilation among protesters who had braved freezing temperatures to gather outside parliament.

The main opposition Democratic party called for Yoon, who has been in office since 2022, to resign or face impeachment.

“Even if martial law is lifted, he cannot avoid treason charges. It was clearly revealed to the entire nation that President Yoon could no longer run the country normally. He should step down,” said Park Chan-dae, a senior Democratic party MP.

Yes, I don’t think this was normal.

I have to think there was something obvious leading up to such extreme behavior, but no one on the internet seems to know what that was. By all appearances, there was just normal political opposition stuff going on and all the sudden this guy declared himself dictator, then bitched out like a fag.

If there was no immediate series of events leading to this, then it must be the result of endemic dysfunction in “South Korea.” It cannot be “one guy just went insane” (or rather, it could be that, but it seems very unlikely).

The White House said it was “relieved” that Yoon had reversed course on his declaration of martial law. “Democracy is at the foundation of the U.S.-ROK alliance, and we will continue to monitor the situation,” a spokesperson said, referring to South Korea by the initials of its official name, the Republic of Korea.

OMG SHUT UP FAGGOTMERICA.

Democracy is the foundation of nothing, firstly.

Further: is democracy the foundation of your relationship with Egypt and Saudi Arabia?

I think the foundation of the relationship with South Korea is the 30,000 US troops there.

The US had previously said it was watching events in its key Asian ally – where it has 28,500 troops stationed to guard against North Korea – with “grave concern”.

South Korea’s main opposition Democratic party had called president’s move “essentially a coup d’état”, saying it was illegal and in violation of the country’s constitution.

Yeah, but he said “JK LOL,” so I think that erases the coup?

He was just shit-testing people, maybe. Seeing what was up.

Legislators gathered in an emergency session of the National Assembly as parliamentary aides attempted to stop armed officers entering the building. Following Yoon’s declaration, Park An-su, the army’s chief of staff, had said that “strikes, work stoppages, and assembly acts that incite social unrest are prohibited”. Martial law in South Korea also provides for arrest without warrant and states that all media should be controlled by military authorities.

But there were no signs of South Korean society complying, after decades of democracy. Local media reported on the protests and the political developments, while the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Korean Trade Unions called emergency meetings to discuss going on strike.

Hundreds of protesters had earlier gathered outside the national assembly building following Yoon’s announcement that he was acting to eradicate “shameless pro-North Korean anti-state forces”.

Interestingly, the mainstream media is not even giving an explanation as to why this happened.

At the very least, whatever this was gives the lie to the claim that US-controlled democracies are so stable they can never be shaken.

North Korea should just invade.

South Korea: Everyone is Against Supporting the Sickening, Whining Ukrainian Pigs https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/11/28/south-korea-everyone-is-against-supporting-the-sickening-whining-ukrainian-pigs/ Thu, 28 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0000

A Ukrainian delegation is in South Korea seeking Seoul’s help in supplying weapons, according to South Korean media reports. pic.twitter.com/j2GhrCpAhj

Not even “but the Norks are on their side though!!!111” is enough to get the South Koreans to support the disgusting, whining, pathetic, entitled hohol pigs.

No one likes these Ukrainians except homosexuals who view them as comrades-in-arms. Everyone else in the world is sick of hearing them whine and demand the whole world care about this lunatic war they started against a country that is much bigger than them.

Reuters:

South Koreans remain widely opposed to directly supplying arms to Ukraine, recent polls show, despite renewed international requests from Kyiv and allied capitals after North Korean troops were reported to be helping Russia.

Ukraine has asked Seoul for a range of weapons and Seoul has said it could consider such aid, depending on future steps by Russia and North Korea.

A Ukrainian delegation led by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov met South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Wednesday, Yoon’s office said, amid media reports that the visit aimed to seek arms support.

“No to the South Korean government planning arms supply to Ukraine,” read a banner held by a small group of protesters gathered outside Yoon’s office in the capital.

Both sides agreed to keep up sharing of information on North Korea’s dispatch of troops to Russia as well as the exchange of technology and weapons between the two, Yoon’s office said in a statement.

The delegation also met Seoul’s national security advisor Shin Won-sik and defence minister Kim Yong-hyun and discussed cooperation between Seoul and Kyiv.

Ukraine planned to send Seoul a detailed request for arms support including artillery and an air defence system, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in an October interview with South Korean broadcaster KBS.

They send everyone “requests” for everything and then they lash out and whine about how you’re evil if you don’t give them everything they want.

A Western diplomat told Reuters that discussions behind the scenes focused on air defence systems designed to shoot down aircraft and missiles, but this month’s U.S. presidential election win by Donald Trump cast uncertainty over the talks.

Yoon, already battling with record low approval ratings over domestic scandals, faces wide opposition from the South Korean public to the idea of arming Ukraine, surveys have shown.

Most South Koreans viewed growing military ties between Pyongyang and Moscow as a threat, a Gallup Korea poll showed in October, but 82% opposed sending military aid, including arms.

Aside from the fact that the war is retarded, and that anyone who starts a war with a country much bigger than themselves deserves whatever they get, everyone is aware that most of the money sent to the Ukraine is embezzled and the weapons themselves are often sold to terrorists from the internet.

Why would anyone support this war, other than the homosexuals and the people in the US government who are involved in the corruption swindle?

It seems Kim is really leaning into the relationship with Russia.

It’s his time to shine.

All Putin had to do was call him up and be friendly with him and he got a major nuclear power as an ally.

AP:

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un renewed his call for a “limitless” expansion of his military nuclear program to counter U.S.-led threats in comments reported Monday that were his first direct criticism toward Washington since Donald Trump’s win in the U.S. presidential election.

At a conference with army officials on Friday, Kim condemned the United States for updating its nuclear deterrence strategies with South Korea and solidifying three-way military cooperation involving Japan, which he portrayed as an “Asian NATO” that was escalating tensions and instability in the region.

Kim also criticized the United States over its support of Ukraine against a prolonged Russian invasion. He insisted that Washington and its Western allies were using Ukraine as their “shock troops” to wage a war against Moscow and expand the scope of U.S. military influence, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency said.

Kim has prioritized his country’s ties to Russia in recent months, embracing the idea of a “new Cold War” and displaying a united front in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s broader conflicts with the West.

…

Amid the stalemate in larger nuclear negotiations with Washington, Kim has been dialing up pressure on South Korea, abandoning his country’s long-standing goal of inter-Korean reconciliation and verbally threatening to attack the South with nukes if provoked.

Kim is a hero, fighting for all free peoples of the world.

People might not see that now, but that is how history will remember him.

North Korea is funny, because these people are totally blockaded and sanctioned into oblivion but they have ultra-high IQs so they just roll with it and keep building weapons.

They can sell these weapons to others.

RT:

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has overseen a field trial of domestically produced kamikaze drones, state media reported on Friday.

Kim stressed that the country needs to soon move from prototyping to full-scale production to be able to incorporate large-scale use of unmanned aircraft into its military doctrine, the news agency KCNA added.

North Korean drones are designed for both ground and naval warfare, have different ranges, and employ some form of homing after reaching the end of their programmable path, the KCNA claimed.

I wish I was from an isolated and totally militarized state.

It’s really fun.

The rebel alliance in “South Korea,” which is a fake country, has totally stopped breeding and will age out of the universe within a generation. The DPRK will be able to just walk into the country and it will be nothing but old people in automated nursing homes, like Wall-E.

Oh, right. That was fat people who needed robots to take care of them. Anyway, same concept.

The country might collapse before that, however, when the second season of Squid Game is released next month. Squid Game was the only thing the country was famous for and the second season is likely to be just as bad as it sounds like that would be.

I’m sure there was a lot of money on the table, but why would you lower yourself to the level of a sequel? The show had already spun out of control at the end with goofy Asian shit.

If season 2 gets universally panned, Koreans might go full-Japanese and start killing themselves in shame on a mass scale.

It’s impossible the show could be worth a shit with 067 dead.

The trailer looks so retarded.

I’ll admit I had a chuckle when that bitch took a bullet in the head in red light, green light. But the same guy goes back to play the game again? What sort of story is that?

The director should have just written a Wall-E ripoff about rebel Korea in the near future being a bunch of nursing homes run by scrappy (and possibly even scampy) robots. He’s exactly the person I would want to direct that. Bringing back Squid Game as a direct sequel is so retarded I can’t even believe it’s real. He told the whole story, he did more than that and added the single most retarded plot twist ever (at least in an otherwise good show). We already have more than we want of that story.

To bring in another cast of characters of varying sympatheticness and then kill them off again would be totally pointless, so they’re likely going to do some kind of investigation to the “back story” of the game, which totally defeats the entire purpose of the show, which was a metaphor.

I wonder if the North Koreans were allowed to watch Squid Game? Most of the shows from the rebel base are banned because they promote feminism and infertility, but it seems like people would like to see Squid Game.

I remember a North Korean paper wrote about it (I can only find this Reuters report right now, I used to have a full translation of the article).

North Korean TV could have just showed the show and said it was a documentary showing what happens when Americans come in and “Westernize” you. It basically was a documentary.

However, where the US does decide to fight, all of the rest of these countries are going to funnel assistance.

So is Trump going to end the war in the Ukraine in order to funnel the funds into the Middle East?

Maybe!

We should find out in the next week or so where he’s going with that. As President Elect, he has the total authority to start making calls.

If I had to guess, I’d expect a wind-down of some kind, an attempt to push a “frozen conflict.” Russia has said they won’t accept that, but they might go along with some version of it. Or, maybe, if Russia doesn’t have their full demands met, they will just keep pushing.

It’s one of the things that will be fun to see regarding the Trump thing.

Also: there is no evidence of North Koreans in the Ukraine.

Reuters:

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday the Ukrainian military’s first clashes with North Korean troops had opened the way to more “instability in the world.”

Defence Minister Rustem Umerov confirmed, in an interview with South Korean television, that the first armed engagements had occurred with North Korean troops in the more than 2-1/2-year-old war.

“The first battles with North Korean soldiers have opened a new chapter of instability in the world,” Zelenskiy said in his nightly video address.

…

Umerov, the defence minister, told South Korea’s KBS television in an interview broadcast on Tuesday that there had been a “small engagement” with the North Korean troops.

“Yes, I think so. It is (an) engagement,” Umerov said in English, when asked if a clash had occurred.

The report, with excerpts from the interview, quoted Umerov as saying that the engagement was small and not yet systematic in terms of mobilising soldiers.

It said Umerov told the interviewer that identification and other procedures would take time as the Russian military was trying to pass off the North Koreans as Buryats, a Mongolian ethnic group from Siberian regions.

Umerov said he expected a sharp rise in the number of North Koreans deployed.

This is obviously just made up, whole cloth, as part of this agenda to get South Korea involved in the Ukraine.

They didn’t even say where the “clashes” took place. Why would they not give a location? Are they suggesting it was inside of Russia, in Kursk, where it would sound bad to complain about Russia doing whatever they’re doing to defend the homeland?

Putin has been vague and sarcastic enough about the North Korean thing that I think it probably has some legitimacy in terms of a few troops coming in as observers, but that is a very minor thing. It’s not going to be anywhere near enough troops to change anything, and Russia is really already moving as fast as they can.

I read about a theory that the reason the US is pumping up this idea of North Korea being in the Ukraine is because they have wanted to send South Koreans to fly bomber jets against Russia.

Now the South Koreans are out there saying they want to get involved in this war.

Reuters:

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul, asked on Friday whether Seoul could send weapons to Ukraine in response to North Korea’s aiding Russia, said all possible scenarios were under consideration.

Cho, speaking through an interpreter, told a press conference in Ottawa that Seoul would be watching the level of participation by North Korean troops in Russia and what Pyongyang received from Moscow in return.

…

South Korea has provided non-lethal aid to Ukraine, including mine clearance equipment, but so far has resisted Kyiv’s requests for weapons.

“All possible scenarios are under consideration,” Cho said when asked whether Seoul might send arms to Ukraine.

Still no evidence this is actually happening.

Feels like we’ve gotten a bit ahead of ourselves here.

The Guardian:

About 8,000 North Korean soldiers are stationed in Russia on the border with Ukraine, the US secretary of state has said, warning that Moscow is preparing to deploy those troops into combat “in the coming days”.

Antony Blinken said the US believed that North Korea had sent 10,000 troops to Russia in total, deploying them first to training bases in the far east before sending the vast majority to the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine.

Blinken told a press conference that the North Korean troops had received Russian training in “artillery, UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles], basic infantry operations, including trench clearing, indicating that they fully intend to use these forces in frontline operations”.

The announcement was the clearest statement yet from the US that it anticipated the first large-scale deployment of foreign troops into the Russia-Ukraine war since Moscow’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.

The deployment could expand the largest land war in Europe since the second world war into a multi-region conflict, tying in the rising tensions in the Korean peninsula between North and South Korea.

“One of the reasons that Russia is turning to these North Korean troops is that it’s desperate,” Blinken said during the press conference as he met South Korea’s foreign and defence ministers in Washington. “Putin has been throwing more and more Russians into a meat grinder of his own making in Ukraine. Now he’s turning to North Korean troops, and that is a clear sign of weakness.”

Wait, so is the narrative still that Russia is losing? Are government people actually still saying that?

After Kursk, they’re still saying Russia is losing? As they rapidly advance towards the river?

The map is all red arrows now.

With Putin refusing to deny the North Korea thing, this almost feels like some kind of tacit agreement between Russia and the US, that the US is going to say they had to flee the scene because of North Korean giga-killers.

Korean troops would not really be especially useful on the battlefield, what with the language barrier. It doesn’t make any sense from Russia’s perspective. It would surely make sense for the North Koreans, who would want their men to have the experience of fighting NATO, but it’s unclear what Russia would even get out of this.

Maybe if it was hundreds of thousands of troops, it would make sense, but a few thousand? What is that even supposed to do?

It’s crazy how the US government just says the most ridiculous nonsense, does the poker face while knowing the whole world, excluding fatmerican scum, knows they’re lying.
