Sophomore Dagny Benedict, 16, was involved at a fight at Owasso High School in suburban Tulsa on February 7, according to 2 News.

A school staffer finally broke up the melee after Benedict, a straight A student, and a classmate were battered for an extended period — reportedly by three older female students.

While her family’s obituary used female pronouns, mother Sue Benedict told The Independent the teen was non-binary and used the name “Nex.”

The heartbroken parent said the other victim was also non-binary.

“Hi, my name’s Nex. It’s not a girl, I’m non-binary.”

The mom said Benedict was often bullied at school, and had fallen and hit her head during the bathroom fight.

Benedict’s stunned relatives called police from the hospital to inform them of the fight.

Benedict was released from the hospital that same day, but was readmitted the next day, Feb. 8, where she tragically died.

The doctors must have also wanted her to die, which is why they didn’t manage the brain bleed.

Sue Benedict told The Independent her child collapsed at home on the way to an appointment the day of her death.

Local police said they are still determining a cause of death, but the mother of Benedict’s friend believes the teen suffered severe trauma in the fight.

“I think complications from brain trauma, head trauma, is what caused it,” the mother of the other victim told 2 News.

The cause of the confrontation remains under investigation.

Police said they are awaiting toxicology reports to determine if there was another possible underlying medical condition which may have caused Benedict’s tragic passing.

A video reportedly shown to daycares in North Carolina has sparked online backlash for depicting a teacher blatantly indoctrinating very young children into radical gender ideology.

The clip, part of a larger documentary called “Reflecting on Anti-bias Education in Action: The Early Years,” was shown during a training hosted by the NC Association for the Education of Young Children (NCAEYC), according to Washington Free Beacon journalist Jordan Chamberlain.

In the video, female teacher Maddie Piper (who says she is “nonbinary”), introduces a group of four- and five-year-old children “to a new friend in our class,” a baby doll she called Nash. Repeatedly using “they” pronouns to refer to the doll, Piper tells the children that Nash is “just a kid” and, like her, “isn’t sure” yet whether it’s a boy or a girl.

“But kids can be boys or girls,” a child says earlier in the clip.

As the teacher begins to answer, a little girl interjects that a kid can also be “they” or “nonbinary.”

A group of teachers discussed the interaction in a separate segment in the video, with one suggesting that the little girl’s response “was a huge testament to how much we’ve been talking about it in the classroom.”

Anderson Lee Aldrich, the suspect in the deadly Colorado LGBTQ nightclub massacre, is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, their lawyers said in new court filings Tuesday.

Public defenders Joseph Archambault and Michael Bowman filed several motions on Tuesday night that included a footnote about their client’s identity.

“Anderson Aldrich is nonbinary,” the footnote states, the Denver Post reported. “They use they/them pronouns, and for the purposes of all formal filings, will be addressed as Mx. Aldrich.”

The footnote was added along with standard motions that deal with issues like unsealing documents and evidence gathering.

Aldrich, who arrived at the El Paso County jail on Tuesday after being discharged from a hospital, is scheduled for an advisement hearing at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the El Paso County courthouse.

The defendant will appear virtually from the jail, a state court rep told the Colorado Sun.

Aldrich likely faces five murder charges as well as five counts of bias-motivated crime causing bodily injury. It is unclear if federal hate crime charges will be filed separately.
