RT is extremely popular all over the world, and is still really popular in the US, even after they banned it from YouTube.

They give good information, and they are the most well put-together alternative media outlet in English.

The US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, has announced new sanctions against the Russian state-backed media company RT, formerly known as Russia Today, after new information gleaned from the outfit’s employees showed it was “functioning like a de facto arm of Russia’s intelligence apparatus”.

The Russian government in 2023 established a new unit in RT with “cyber operational capabilities and ties to Russian intelligence”, Blinken claimed, with the goal of spreading Russian influence in countries around the world through information operations, covert influence and military procurement.

“Today, we’re exposing how Russia deploys similar tactics around the world,” Blinken said. “Russian weaponization of disinformation to subvert and polarize free and open societies extends to every part of the world.”

The US treasury would sanction three entities and two individuals tied to Rossiya Segodnya, the Russian state media company, Blinken said. The decision came after the announcement earlier this month that RT had funneled nearly $10m to conservative US influencers through a local company to produce videos meant to influence the outcome of the American presidential election in November.

They’re never going to tell you which lie RT told, what piece of disinformation. They don’t want to have a debate about that. They would lose.

Just so, we’re never going to hear about the disinformation spread by the New York Times, which has been responsible for the most destructive hoaxes of the age, including the virus hoax and the Iraq WMD hoax. The Times basically claimed that Saddam did 911. They are the biggest fake news ever. But they’re not getting sanctioned, because every hoax they do serves Jewish interests.

Online has become the most popular news source by a small margin, as TV viewership continues to decline, according to an Ofcom news consumption survey.

Its report, which saw market research company Jigsaw Research conduct 5,466 interviews, found that 71% view news online, compared to 70% viewing news on television.

It follows a downward trend of TV news viewership over the years, with 79% of respondents saying it was their primary news source in 2018 while 70% said the same in 2024.

The top individual sources however remain Public Service Broadcasters, with BBC and ITV taking the top two spots.

However, both broadcasters have still suffered a decline in viewership over the years with 43% of respondents said they favoured BBC One in 2024, down from 58% in 2019.

ITV1 saw a similar decline, going from 40% in 2019 to 30% in 2024.

Online news has instead increased – up from 68% in 2023 to the 71% this year.

Among adults who directly access news online, the BBC website came out top at 59%, followed by Sky News (20%), The Guardian (20%) and The Daily Mail (19%).

Social media has also become a “significant component of online news consumption” according to the report.

Around 52% of respondents use it as a news source in 2024, compared with 44% in 2018. The most commonly mentioned websites were Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.

Younger people increasingly rely on online news sources, with 88% of 16 to 24-year-olds using the internet for news, and only 49% using TV.

Who even has a TV?

Executives at Vice Media are planning to lay off several hundred of its more than 900 employees over the next week, eliminating staff from its digital publishing division, according to a company memo sent to staff on Thursday from Bruce Dixon, the chief executive.

After my ten years of working every single day, I almost feel like I should take some days off.

Today would be the day to do it.

I should have went to watch Barbie so I could write about that.

Also, quite frankly, I’ve been working on some other projects that have been pretty draining, and that makes it harder to figure out bullshit to write about on a news-less day.

Ever since the 2016 election, the media has been in a state of crisis. Part of what they’re doing to deal with that crisis is launching new websites. These websites are all run by the same Jews.

Ben Smith worked at Buzzfeed, where he was the first one to publish that stupid fake “dossier” about Donald Trump being involved in piss sex. He then went to work at the New York Times before quitting earlier this year to launch “Semafor.”

That is what the new news site is called: “Semafor.” I do not know what the word means.

It is ridiculous to me that the guy responsible for kicking off the pissgate hoax, which is the single biggest thing you can point to that caused the American people to lose faith in the media, would decide he was qualified to start a “new and much more credible” website. But given that this is my field, I was interested to check the site out, and determined to give it a fair appraisal.

I spent some time reading it yesterday and this morning, just after its launch, and I was not impressed. It’s a gimmick site, similar to Axios, another site that was launched in the way of the 2016 election to “reimagine the news.”

The Jew Smith has claimed in every comment he’s made about the site that it is specifically intended for “college educated” people, as if it is meant to be particularly high-brow. However, the site’s gimmicks make it look as though it was designed to appeal to low IQ people with ADD. The site has extra headings, including one giving the journalist’s view.

They don’t seem to have really thought this through either. If the journalist is writing in their own voice as a commentator, it stops being a “hard news” article, and becomes an editorial. That means that the journalist should stop referring to himself as “Semafor.”

It’s also noteworthy that they are of the bat doing fake anonymous sources to push their spin.

The site also includes “zany” type commentary.

The difference between Semafor and Axios is that Axios is pretty good for a mainstream news website, and it’s gimmick of shortening the article and pulling out the key points in bullet format is actually useful. Axios summarizes the stupidly verbose New York Times, whereas Semafor appears to just be a dumber version of the New York Times.

In my professional opinion, this website sucks.

The real news site for the highly intellectual is the Daily Stormer, where we talk about the Jew thing and do not support trannies.

Trevor Noah is nearing his last laugh on “The Daily Show.”

The comedian, who came out of near anonymity to take over the program from Jon Stewart in 2015, plans to exit the flagship Comedy Central series after a seven-year tenure that saw him transform it for a new generation of viewers who are more at home on social media than they are cable outlets and broadcast networks.

Yeah, actually, people will watch cable broadcasts if they don’t suck.

Tucker still kills 24-54 live, along with having millions of views on YouTube.

The key is to not suck.

Trevor Noah can’t claim “oh I can’t win because young people are online” when his videos on his youtube channel can’t crack 100,000 views unless he’s announcing his retirement.

Every Tucker video gets millions of views – even though Fox won’t give him his own channel, and uses his shows to bolster their flailing YouTube channel.

If people were allowed to sub to a Tucker-only YouTube channel, Tucker would be getting 3-4 times the views.

Young people are going to watch stuff. They just aren’t interested in watching leftist political propaganda. If they are going to watch political material, it will be rightist material. If they are leftists, they just have the default worldview, so they don’t need to watch political content – they already just agree with whatever the government and media says, so they don’t need to learn anything. They can just say “yeah, I just agree with everything the government/media says.”

There are a few leftists who disagree with the media, but Trevor Noah is just a regime apologist. He just says whatever CNN/NYT says, and he’s not funny at all. He’s quite possibly the least funny person I’ve ever run across.

There is a massive gap between what is being pushed by the mainstream news and entertainment media and the government and what people actually like. As the media gets more and more aggressive, pushing a purely political agenda, that gap is continuing to widen.

I’ve never thought the comedian Tim Dillion was especially brilliant, but the chasm between him and the comedians pushed by the mainstream is so vast that it is staggering. He is at least six million times funnier than people like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, that black guy on the Daily Show, and the entire cast of Saturday Night Live.

The response to his popularity from the mainstream has been to claim that he is only popular because he is a Nazi. This makes no sense at all, as it implies that Nazism is extremely popular.

In a recent podcast, Dillion responded to people claiming that he is only popular because of Nazism.

Speaking of the fact that he can sell out standup comedy shows, he said of his fans, “maybe those people don’t matter. Maybe they’re all Nazis. Who knows? That’s possible. It’s possible that everyone who is succeeding is a Nazi, and all of their fanbases are Nazis, and that’s the only reason anyone is successful at all.”

“If you have a live event, and sell over 70% of tickets, it’s possible that everyone there loves Hitler,” Dillion continued. “I guess. I don’t know. That seems to be the running explanation as to why anyone is successful at anything.”

That’s isn’t really satirical. It is basically what the media says about why people do not slurp up their garbage and ask for seconds, and instead go to people on the internet for their news and entertainment needs.

Dillion went on to say that the excuse of the media as to why he is more popular than everyone on Saturday Night Live, with all of their institutionalized power and money, is that people from the internet are “not real comedians.” Whatever that means. Glenn Greenwald pointed out on Twitter that this is the same line of reasoning used to attack journalists who the establishment doesn’t like.

Greenwald explained in a recent show that Project Veritas, Julian Assange and himself have bother been accused of being “not real journalists” as a way to dismiss them – and then to legally abuse them.

CNN has actually complained about the fact that some people on YouTube have more of an audience than them.

This competition from alternative news outlets is why the mainstream is so invested in a censorship agenda – they do not want you to have a choice. They condemn their opposition as evil. Brian Stelter’s show on CNN is entirely devoted to calling for censorship. Given that social media companies have censored basically everyone at this point, the show is now primarily devoted to Tucker Carlson, and demanding that AT&T and Comcast stop delivering Fox News until Tucker is fired.

In a related thing, I was watching some reuploads of Computing Forever on Odysee.com, and saw a clip about Terminator: Dark Fate, a Terminator film that killed off John Conner and made all of the main characters diverse and empowered women.

After the failure of the film, director Tim Miller did an interview blaming people for not seeing the film. He blamed “the get woke go broke phenomenon,” saying that a small portion of people who don’t like wokeness in films somehow mind controlled everyone else to refuse to see the film or to give it bad reviews.

Dark Fate came out not long after Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel was the first film where Rotten Tomatoes banned fan reviews, claiming that the film was super important to the feminist agenda, and anyone who didn’t like the film was evil and therefore should not have a voice.

This is a theme that runs throughout society right now: everywhere you look, the establishment choices are unpopular, and the establishment is therefore forced to use censorship as well as other forms of abuse – including prosecution – in order to silence any alternatives. You could even make a comparison to the 2020 election, where the establishment did not like who people voted for, so they changed the results.

Overall, if you were to look at this situation as a whole, you would expect a gigantic, revolutionary backlash against the entire agenda of the current ruling establishment.

This is where the coronavirus vaccine comes in. Once people take this vaccine, they are going to be cursed with permanent health problems. We are seeing it everywhere, particularly among athletes – it creates chronic health problems. If the entire population is forced to take a drug that will give them permanent health disabilities, then that population cannot rise up against you. They have no choice but to simply accept the decisions you make for them, to eat what you feed them.

That appears to be the source of this pro-vaccine aggression.

I suspect that the vaccine is also going to make it impossible for people to reproduce. But I don’t think it is intended to just exterminate everyone immediately, as some people were claiming. People are just going to develop a lot of serious health problems, and no one is going to be able to get too worked up or they’ll have a heart attack.

The newest combatant in the US ‘disinformation’ wars is a media company bankrolled by Democrat mega-donors Reid Hoffman and George Soros, and run by an operative whose astroturfed local news outfit was actual misinformation.

Good Information, Inc. launched on Tuesday as “a civic incubator committed to investing in immediate solutions that counter disinformation and increase the flow of good information online.” According to Axios, it is bankrolled by LinkedIn co-founder Hoffman, Soros, as well as Silicon Valley investors Ken and Jen Duda and Incite Ventures.

Tara McGowan, a former Democratic strategist who worked on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s 2012 and 2016 campaigns – and ran a progressive nonprofit called ACRONYM that spent a whopping $100 million on a digital ad campaign to defeat Donald Trump in 2020 – has been put in charge of the venture.

ACRONYM was a major investor in Shadow, the outfit that mangled the results of the Iowa caucuses early on in the Democratic primary process, hurting the candidacy of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. Another of its operations, Courier Newsroom, will be sold to Good Information for an undisclosed sum; McGowan reportedly recused herself from the deal.

Ironically, Courier Newsroom was repeatedly called out for misinformation, including by NewsGuard – another major player in the “disinfo” wars – in the pages of the Washington Post, no less.

“Courier Newsroom is a clandestine political operation,” wrote NewsGuard’s Gabby Deutch, who described it as “a different, more tech-savvy form of political misinformation.”

Courier and Acronym are “exploiting the widespread loss of local journalism to create and disseminate something we really don’t need: hyperlocal partisan propaganda,” Deutch added in a February 2020 article.

None of that prevented McGowan from gushing about her new venture as something that will fix the “broken, divisive information ecosystem in which we find ourselves today” that is “an all-hands-on-deck challenge for American democracy.”

“I still believe that winning elections is necessary to preserving our democracy,” she added. “But the information crisis is bigger than politics – and requires solutions beyond it.”

To prove that her new outfit won’t be a hyper-partisan Democrat operation, McGowan cited The Bulwark, “a center-right news site founded in opposition to Trumpism,” as an example of a conservative news outlet Good Information could support. Left unsaid is that The Bulwark are “conservatives” in name only, whose obsessive hatred of Trump has them endorsing just about every Democrat running for any office in the US.

The new company’s advisory board tells a similar story, consisting of mainly Democrat activists advocating for censorship. One notable name that leaps out is Nandini Jammi, previously of the pressure group Sleeping Giants who then launched her own operation called Check My Ads. Jammi’s modus operandi is to contact advertisers and services used by people she disagrees with, and call them racist.

This is all pretty desperate.

At some point, faith in the establishment is so low that they just assume you’re lying on principle, and it doesn’t matter if you’re able to completely control all information or not, people just simply won’t believe you.

Basically, that’s the point the establishment is at now, for probably half of the US population. People think that something is a lie just because the media said it. There’s no real way to reestablish trust at this point, so you have to wonder what the goal even is of these new disinformation and brainwashing programs.

At this point, the goal of the media seems to be more about demoralizing than disinforming.

Family of the man shot in Denver have revealed that he is Lee Keltner, a 49-year-old cowboy hat maker.
