Though that piece will be included in Lit 101 readers long after I’m dead. And that is just a fact. Sorry to the haters. But that is just life and you’re going to have to deal with it.

But today, in real life, I want to offer something about Zohran’s supposedly stunning victory in the New York democratic mayoral primary. Firstly, people should know I won money on that. I should have written about this before and said “I’m betting money on this just you watch.”

But here’s the thing. Everyone is talking about how this proves that the Democrat base is really into communism and they want to unleash the blacks and the immigrants like an army of orcs to rob and kill everyone. And they want Venezuela style communist grocery stores. And they haven’t figured out rent control is a gigantic Jewish scam.

The polls of the views of New Yorkers showed that they don’t want no cash bail and unlimited immigrants or any of the things Zohran is promoting as domestic policy.

An overwhelming majority of New Yorkers say the no-cash bail law has contributed to the spike in crime and should be overhauled, according to a study released Monday.

A total of 56 percent of voters in the Empire State believe the 2019 bail reform has been bad for New York compared to 30 percent who said it was good policy, the Siena College survey found.

Nearly two-thirds of voters — 64 percent — think the law has resulted in an increase in crime, compared to 24 percent who said it hasn’t.

On Friday, the poll, conducted exclusively for Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton Strategies of 974 eligible voters in New York City, asked an array of questions about issues facing the city and the nation overall, including how they feel about the current crime rate and if they feel the influx of migrants is having an impact.

According to the poll, over 70 percent blamed migrants in the city for the current crime rate, with 41 percent saying immigration is having a “significant” impact and 31 percent saying a “fair amount” of impact. The poll found that 18 percent said immigration is having a “small” impact and 10 percent said it is having no impact at all.

And it goes on and on. I don’t think there are any polls on Venezuela-style government grocery stores, because no one was really thinking about that. But none of Zohran’s domestic policies are popular in New York among anything close to a majority. These are all fringe policies.

What is not a fringe policy are Zohran’s views on Palestine and Israel. These policies are overwhelmingly popular on the left and are increasingly popular on the right. In March of this year (obviously, before Israel started a war with Iran and dragged the US into it), in the nation as a whole, 55% disapprove of Israel’s actions in Gaza, while only 36% approved. Democrats are only slightly more supportive of Palestine, with a 59% approval of Palestine.

That was what won Zohran the primary. Period. It is not this commie lunacy. Very few people want that.

(Part of it is also that he’s young, relatively handsome, well-spoken, but mostly it is the Israel thing.)

It’s possible that Zohran will still lose the election, because of this communist stuff, particularly the crime and the immigrants. I’m not betting on it. If Cuomo runs as an independent, I think it’s more likely than not he will win, because people do not want this crime and chaos.

But all of the people who are saying that this is about how people support communism are full of shit. If Cuomo would have been out there supporting Palestine, he would have won by a landslide.

But he wasn’t.

He was being constantly endorsed by the ADL.

In this primary, New York voters put their support for Palestine and their animosity towards Jews above their own personal safety.

Now they are doing a bird genocide, hyping up another one of these hoaxes, where they will rename the flu and claim it is a “pandemic” and lock you up and vaccinate you with some deadly mRNA gene therapy.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the state is temporarily shutting down all live bird markets in New York City and Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties through February 14 after inspectors discovered seven cases of bird flu in poultry.

The cases were found over the past week at live bird markets in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx through routine inspections, Hochul said.

“For a week-long period, no poultry can be delivered to those live bird markets. Each uninfected market must sell down all inventory, undergo thorough cleaning and disinfection and then remain closed for at least five days. Each must then be inspected by our state Ag and Markets before they can reopen,” Hochul said at a news conference on Friday. “These are just simply measured, common-sense steps that will curb the spread of bird flu and ultimately, to keep New Yorkers safe, which is always my top priority.”

About 80 markets are affected by the order, officials said.

New York State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald said the state health department “is using all the tools at its disposal to monitor for avian influenza in human beings, and we’re prepared for widespread testing should the need arise.”

Aside from hyping a new pandemic hoax, this bird flu scam also provides an opportunity for the government and all of these institutions to attack the US food supply, and charge you $38 for a carton of eggs, which in turn raises the prices of all other foodstuffs.

Gov. Kathy Hochul’s plans for the Empire State to go green are going south as local communities refuse to build massive battery plants that would store wind and solar energy.

One upstate town where a top state official leading the state’s anti-fossil fuel push just voted to ban construction of the plants — and one New York City politician has already called to pause any new sites for the facilities.

“We called for — and still support — a moratorium on these [Battery Energy Storage System] facilities almost two years ago,” said Vito Fossella, borough president of Staten Island, where more than a dozen of the facilities are planned.

“They are being placed literally right next door to people’s homes, and even next to a gas station,” Fosella said. “The city is playing with fire by allowing this type of reckless policy to continue.”

Well, they will start literal fires (which are nigh impossible to put out), and they will also give everyone cancer.

Then when they are used up, they will be disposed in a way that dumps poisonous rare earth minerals in the water supply.

This is all just lunacy. Coal power never caused these problems. But they invented this ridiculous scam about “global warming” so they could make all of this money poisoning everything and giving everyone cancer.

Duanesburg — where New York State Energy Research and Development president and CEO Doreen Harris lives — recently voted to ban BESS buildings because they “will pose a threat to the public health safety and welfare of residents of the Town and their property,” according to a resolution by the town board.

Duanesburg officials said they decided on the ban, first reported by the Daily Gazette, because the town relies on volunteer firefighters and that part of the town lacks access to public water. Critics have said they are not only a fire hazard, but could spark a blaze that takes longer to extinguish and would spew toxins into the air.

The BESS backlash is a blow to the state’s plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030 and achieve 100% zero-carbon emission electricity by 2040 under the the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act of 2019.

The facilities are considered vital in that green push but other communities are digging in against planned construction of the facilities, whether they are directly attached to construction of new alternative-energy plants or standalone battery plants.

Massive opposition has mounted against a 116-megawatt storage site on the Westchester County-Putnam County line. The town of Carmel in Putnam voted last October to ban lithium battery storage systems.

Trump needs to move to ban all of these “green” energy programs based on environmental and health grounds.

These companies do not have any right to poison everyone.

New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday told hospitals that they would be violating state law if they stop offering gender-affirming care for people under age 19 in response to an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at curtailing federal funding for such treatments.

In a letter, James, a Democrat, told health care facilities that refusing to provide the treatments would violate New York’s anti-discrimination laws.

“Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws,” her letter reads.

Trump, a Republican, last week signed an executive order that directed agencies to take steps to make sure that hospitals receiving federal research and education grants “end the chemical and surgical mutilation of children.” The language in the order — using words such as “maiming,” “sterilizing” and “mutilation” — contradicts what is typical for gender-affirming care in the United States.

The letter from James came as some hospitals in Colorado, Virginia and Washington, D.C., said they were pausing gender-affirming treatments for young people while administrators evaluate the order. The White House on Monday released a statement that said the executive order was “already having its intended effect.”

What James is doing could actually sabotage these hospitals. They all depend on federal funding (which is a problem in itself, but not one which is currently being dealt with).

If the hospitals are forced to do child trannies and then lose their federal funding, they will just shut down.

Is this a sign from God or do these buildings just get hit by lightning constantly?

One would have to assume that the tallest buildings in any city get hit with lightning pretty regularly.

I just looked it up and the WTC memorial building is hit an average of 26 times per year, while the Empire State Building is hit 25 times per year. But the Washington Monument is only hit 1-4 times per year, apparently, and you would think the Capitol is struck fewer times than that.

You can do some rough math in your head. Of course, these buildings are relatively close to one another, so the fact that the area was stormy definitely affects the odds of them all being hit on the same day.

It’s still relatively improbable.

It seems more likely to be some kind of omen.

A Manhattan jury found Penny not guilty of criminally negligent homicide after he held 30-year-old homeless man Jordan Neely in a chokehold to protect surrounding passengers on a New York City subway train in May 2023. Newsome called on “black vigilantes” to avenge Neely’s death and fight against white people who allegedly want to “choke” and “kill” black people for “being loud.”

“Like everybody else has vigilantes, we need some black vigilantes,” Newsome said. “People want to jump up and choke us and kill us for being loud, how about we do the same when they attempt to oppress us? I’m tired. I know you’re looking for us to be like ‘oh, go and march. Go and march.’ No, this weekend, I want you to hold a community event, everywhere from the Bronx, to Houston, to Seattle, to Florida. Black people hold community events and talk about what you need.”

Passengers who witnessed the incident said Neely behaved in an erratic and threatening manner by screaming at commuters, throwing his jacket on the ground and saying that he did not care if he went to jail. Penny then came up from behind Neely and held him in the chokehold for about 15 minutes, where Neely eventually lost consciousness and was pronounced dead.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Penny after a medical examiner ruled Neely’s death a homicide in May 2023. The manslaughter charge, which was dismissed prior to the jury’s verdict, came with a potential 15-year prison sentence, while the negligent homicide charge comes with a maximum four-year sentence.

Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy said during a Monday Fox News segment that the jury was in a “deadlock” likely due to many jurors buying into Bragg’s alleged “racialized” narrative of the incident.

Protesters supporting Neely gathered outside the courtroom prior to and following the verdict, chanting “no justice, no peace” and warning that the public “will hear [them] tonight.”

Yeah, there are a number of people who made a lot of money on the BLM scam, and they’re always looking to get it going again.

But it won’t get going until the Jews say so.

A central New York local judge is facing calls to resign after she allegedly refused to officiate a same-sex marriage last month.

Syracuse City Court Judge Felicia Pitts-Davis refused to marry a lesbian couple last month according to reporting by Syracuse.com, potentially violating rules for New York judges and state law.

“If a judge can’t follow the law and do her job as directed by the New York state constitution and the United States Supreme Court, she should step down,” state Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Brad Hoylman-Sigal told The Post Wednesday.

“I find it appalling that someone who professes to work on behalf of the public takes a piecemeal approach to their responsibility,” Hoylman-Sigal, who is gay, told The Post.

Syracuse City Auditor Alex Marion said members of the community “deserve better” regardless their sexual orientation.

“I believe it is just and appropriate for Judge Pitts-Davis to step down so all the people of our community can be assured they receive equal treatment under the law,” Marion, who is also gay, said in a statement. “If she does not, the Office of Court Administration should promptly suspend her from the bench.”

According to Syracuse.com’s reporting, Shawntay Davis and Niccora Davis went to the Syracuse Courthouse to be married on Nov. 16. They watched Pitts-Davis marry a heterosexual couple, but when it was their turn, the judge disappeared.

A spokesperson for the state court system said the allegations have been brought to their attention and the matter is being referred to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

“Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated by the UCS,” the Office of Court Administration spokesperson wrote in a statement.

“Under New York Law, Judges are authorized, but not obligated, to perform marriages. Judges who choose to perform marriages may not unlawfully discriminate when deciding which couples they will marry,” the spokesperson continued.

Teslas are still safer than Pfizer vaccines, but just barely.

A speeding Tesla violently smashed into a sheet of rock and burst into flames on a Westchester County road Tuesday morning, killing the two occupants inside, officials said.

The horrific wreck happened in Pelham Manor near the Bronx border around 9:15 a.m. after the ritzy car zipped right through the intersection and crashed into the barrier. The car quickly became an inferno as local firefighters rushed to the scene.

The driver and their passenger were pronounced dead after the flames were put out, Pelham Manor fire chief Michael Greco said. Their identities were not revealed Tuesday night.

While it took about 20 minutes to extinguish the fire, firefighters were on scene for hours to remove the bodies and secure the lithium ion batteries that were strewn across the roadway.

This looks like it was driver error, not the botched fake “self-driving,” but a normal car doesn’t explode in flames due to a small crash, and if it does somehow catch fire, it doesn’t take 20 minutes to extinguish.

These “cars” are death machines. They burst into flames and just melt.

If you’re inside, you melt.

A 17-year-old hockey player collapsed during a charity game in New York and later died, authorities said.

Connor Kasin, a senior at Massapequa High School on Long Island, lost consciousness during a game Saturday night benefiting a foundation that was set up by the parents of another area teen, 19-year-old Sabrina Navaretta, who died in an April 2023 car crash.

The Nassau County Police Department said in a news release that people at the skating rink in Bethpage, New York, were performing CPR when officers and medics arrived.

Kasin was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A police spokesperson said Monday that no information on his cause of death was available.

It’s very simple: he died of suddenly, which is the leading cause of death among people who do too much exercise.

You have to keep your heartrate low if you want to survive.

A veteran NYPD lieutenant turned podcaster claims the department refused to give Christian men exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine mandate because a DEI commissioner wanted to put more women on the force.

John Macari, who co-hosts the “New York’s Finest: Retired & Unfiltered Podcast,” said he had to choose between his Christian faith and his job because of policies put forth by the city’s now disgraced COVID czar Jay Varma and former NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Equity and Inclusion, Tanya Meisenholder.

Meisenholder once said in a podcast that more than 10% of NYPD employees are “knuckle draggers,” which Macari claimed is a discriminatory term for men.

The two “were responsible for [Macari] being told that he either had to get vaccinated or be terminated. This was not done to female officers, trans-sexual officers, and those officers of no faith,” Macari alleged in a $10 million Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.

“Living as a devout and God-fearing Christian” kept him from being vaccinated, Macari contended in court papers.

Macari said he left the NYPD in February 2022 after 18 years on the job.

He isn’t offering any documentation for these claims, but it sure all seems like something that would happen. I would be very surprised if it didn’t happen and I would really just assume things like this were happening constantly.
