Sophia Rosenbaum, an editor at The Associated Press, wrote an opinion piece celebrating the Virus Regime and claiming that she doesn’t want to ever go back to normal life.

Why is The Associated Press even publishing this? What is their interest in shilling for the Virus Regime?

AP:

Dear Normal,

Everyone wants you back. It seems every day of this late-stage pandemic era is marked with someone wistfully talking about Normal: going back to you, starting new with you. It’s all about norms and normalcy. All about you.

As for me, I’m not so interested in Normal. I defer to Taylor Swift: We are never, ever, ever getting back together.

It felt normal to want Normal back at first. Last year, in those first months, daydreaming of you was a constant daily escape from all of the endless dire possibilities. I wanted my life back. I wanted the control.

…

It wasn’t just me. Over the last year, our obsession with normalcy has shown up on Google, with the highest spike in searches around mid-April 2020, when it seemed we might have been able to resume life as we once knew it.

Searching for normal went up again around the start of the school year in September and around the holidays in late November. But as the search trends show, these desires for normalcy ebb and flow, constantly fading and morphing.

The collective yearning for normalcy was panic-inducing early on, around the time President Donald Trump was vowing to reopen America by Easter 2020. So much had already changed. Yet it felt then that we might just go back to Normal with the snap of a finger.

By June, the pandemic’s staying power was more clear, and then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was saying, “We cannot go right back to normal. We need new routines.” Several months later, Vermont Gov. Phil Scott said, “We’ll begin to again turn the spigot once more and get back to whatever normal will be.”

By then, my brain was screaming: No way. Do others feel it, too, cringing every time new Normal, old Normal, any Normal is uttered? That to go back to you would mean we don’t question the ways things were, that we ignore the cracks that have been exposed, and that we forget the lessons — good and bad — that have been learned?

The experience of living through the yearlong aberration feels like the rapid-fire history verses of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” — condensed into one tumultuous year. The world shuts down, a racial reckoning, a divisive election. Loss after loss after loss. A previously unimaginable attack on the peaceful American transfer of power. A jittery inauguration. Multiple vaccines — and a glimpse of a world beyond the pandemic.

After living through all that, going back to Normal feels more and more like returning to a lover we just can’t seem to leave.

B.C., adaptability sometimes felt a lot different. It let us recover from jetlag and get used to a new time zone in days, sometimes hours. It let us move from the warming layered looks of winter to — unimaginably — a spaghetti-strap dress when the heat of summer comes. It’s turning a new house into a home.

The past year has given adaptability a new meaning. Many people have a new perspective of their capabilities. Impossible things became possible: Maintaining relationships online and enduring not seeing family and friends, or anyone, for extended periods of time. A whole crop of young people finding grace after being robbed of moments big and small. We got used to it. We normalized the unimaginable.

…

When we have a green light to start living life again, to enter a new Normal, what will we hold onto from this time? Will we really stay unbusy? Will we care more about work flexibility, employee protections, access to medical coverage? Will anti-racism efforts, once at the forefront of the zeitgeist, be prioritized or forgotten? Will mass shootings become the exception rather than a painful rule?

Will there be any systemic change?

Not likely, “Pandemic” author Sonia Shah said on a recent episode of John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight.”

“We usually go right back to business as usual as soon as the thing ends, as soon as we have a drug, as soon as we have a vaccine,” she said. “We don’t really do the fundamental social change.”

We’ve already experienced that. When life changed, there was a period of adjustment. It took a while to get used to it. Then we did. That’s happening again right now in the United States as more people are vaccinated and infection rates decrease. Already, the pulls of Normal are tugging.

For all the growth and change and adaptation that has happened in the past year, it is hard to even define what a post-pandemic normalcy might mean. The dictionary defines it simply as conforming to a standard — usual, typical, or expected. Is that really what we want? “If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be,” Maya Angelou once said.

Without Normal, the path forward is more open, the opportunities perhaps broader. What if there’s a whole lot of amazing that stands to be lost if Normal returns? What if, instead of banking on normalcy, we focused on that one-of-a-kind ability to adapt and evolve? Maybe that’s the way forward, instead of simply reconciling with what was and trying to recreate something that’s already had its day.

It’s too late, anyway. Remember, Normal: You and me, we already broke up.

With her ominous closing sentence, she implies that no matter what people want, the old normal is never coming back.

The entire point of her piece is to get a “perhaps it is for the best that the government has taken all of my rights away” cope into people’s head.

“Old Normal” means being able to leave your house when you want to, go to places, meet with friends and family, and interact with people like human beings are supposed to do, without having to ask the government for permission first.

AMC Theaters Delays Reopening Again But Says Some Day They’ll Open https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/07/24/amc-theaters-delays-reopening-again-but-says-some-day-theyll-open/ Fri, 24 Jul 2020 00:00:00 +0000

The theater industry is obviously finished.

Why do they keep acting as though it isn’t?

Reuters:

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc said on Thursday it has delayed the reopening of its movie theaters in the United States to mid to late August, in alignment with the new release dates of Disney’s “Mulan” and Christopher Nolan’s thriller, “Tenet”.

UK’s Cineworld Group PLC also pushed its U.S. reopening date to mid-August, although the company remains on track to welcome back movie-goers in Britain at the end of this month.

Movie theaters across the world were shuttered since the mid-March when several countries imposed lockdowns and social distancing measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Probably, the plan is to keep sending mixed signals to the population, to keep them in a state of confusion.

They say on one hand that normal is never coming back, then on the other hand say it’s just a matter of time. That prevents people from ever coming to terms with the new normal if they think the old normal is maybe going to return, and this is all just temporary.

I’ll just go ahead and tell you as a matter of absolute fact: the movie theaters are never opening again.

UK: People from Different Households Banned from Hugging or Kissing During Weddings https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/06/30/uk-people-from-different-households-banned-from-hugging-or-kissing-during-weddings/ Tue, 30 Jun 2020 00:00:00 +0000

The social interaction licenses are really going to be a thing.

If people from different households are banned from hugging or kissing during weddings because of a virus, the logical next step is to also ban them from hugging and kissing anywhere else, because the virus is everywhere.

Of course, we know that coronavirus is about as dangerous as the flu, so the government is clearly running some kind of sick social-engineering program on people.

Daily Mail:

Fathers cannot walk their daughter arm-in-arm down the aisle and couples must wash their hands before and after exchanging rings in post-lockdown weddings.

New rules issued by the Government today also ban receptions when the ceremonies are allowed to restart with up to 30 people in England from Saturday.

The plans are intend to maintain social distancing at weddings as the coronavirus pandemic continues but will reduce the big day to little more than a formality.

…

Here are some of the new rules which will make for very different weddings:

CEREMONIES – Keep distanced during ‘short’ ceremonies

The new rules urge people from different households to maintain social distancing between one another, which will be ‘one metre plus’ from Saturday.

They say this ‘may require marriages or civil partnerships to be adapted to remove practices that would otherwise have brought people into contact with one another, unless required for the marriage or civil partnership to be legally binding’.

The guidance adds that ‘where this is the case precautions should be put in place to minimise contact and ensure the timeframe is as short as possible’.

This means that fathers will be unable to walk their daughter arm-in-arm down the aisle – and people from different households will be banned from hugging or kissing.

…

RECEPTIONS – Maximum of only two households indoors

The Government has asked that the number of attendees at the service should ‘ideally be kept to a minimum as far as possible’, but will allow up to 30 to attend.

…

DURING THE SERVICE – No singing or shouting allowed

Meanwhile people have been told to avoid ‘singing, shouting, raising voices and/or playing music at a volume that makes normal conversation difficult’.

This is because of the potential for encouraging shouting which would raise an increased risk of transmission of Covid-19 from aerosol and droplets.

It means spoken responses ‘should also not be in a raised voice’ – and singing and playing of instruments that are blown into should be avoided.

If it is required for a ceremony, one person should be allowed to sing or chant, and the ‘use of plexi-glass screens should be considered to protect guests’.

The Government has suggested couples consider using recordings instead of singing. Organs are also allowed but must be cleaned before and after.

All guests should follow social distancing guidance – and venues should look at changing seating layouts, improve ventilation and use face coverings.

There’s a couple more rules, but you get the idea. It’s absolute lunacy.

The thing about these “people banned from doing X under Y circumstance because of the virus” rules is that they’re a kind of smooth introduction to the total banning of “X.” We saw this happen with the lockdown, which was introduced bit by bit and repeatedly extended until everyone grew used to it.

What is going to happen is that they’re going to ban people from different households from doing these things, such as hugging and kissing, in every context. They’re introducing the banning little by little, just like they introduced the now eternal lockdown as something that would only last a few weeks.

We’re the New Normal: Random Trump Supporter Names the Jew to Young Turks Reporter https://www.anglinarchive.com/2016/11/02/were-the-new-normal-random-trump-supporter-names-the-jew-to-young-turks-reporter/ Wed, 02 Nov 2016 00:00:00 +0000 Eric Striker

When Jewish run NBC debut a sitcom celebrating promiscuous single moms and homosexuality juxtaposed to an old, evil white grandma, Jew creator Ali Adler suggested leaving no room for interpretation on the symbolism by calling it “The New Normal.”

The New Normal: A World Without Normal White Males.

The New Normal: A World Without Normal White Men.

Jews and the people they hate know instinctively that the emotional, mental and physical health of women who have multiple children out of wedlock by multiple random men is disastrous across the board. Jews and the people they hate know that the homosexual lifestyle, its drugs, its diseases, its degradation, its violence – shaves decades off your life. Drop by drop, year by year, the psychological sadism of controlled entertainment continues to intensify the scope of its anti-social mores – in increments.  Jews and the people they hate are at war, but for a long time, only one side was aware of it.

The audaciousness of “The New Normal” didn’t take, and the show only ran for one season. Neither did the feminist reboot of Ghostbusters, or race-agitation of Birth of a Nation. They were almost there, but lately, every attempt at the Jewish culture war version of the flag-raising on Iwo Jima comes under fire. The 2016 election was meant to send in somebody like Jeb to go meet with the resisting white guerrillas and convince us to surrender. Instead, normal white people are coming out of our caves, but this time, for a counter-attack.

Political discourse in America is shifting, and it’s giving Jews the vapors. The above video is a textbook example: a young, random and sober Trump supporter (different from the Harry Dunne looking guy screaming “JEW-S-A”) hoping that Donald Trump will break Zionist control of the United States government.

The best part?

By not openly naming the Jew, and saying Zionism instead, he’s the new moderate.

The connection between the ugliness, pain, corruption and misfortune so many are suffering in our world and society with the Jewish question is indeed not obvious. Jews have invested probably trillions of dollars since the Second World War in ensuring all forms of communication and information are rigged to dump the word “Jew” from any context other than lavish praise. But just like the last 109 times we took them to account, the power of the Faustian spirit lets us hot-wire a solution when walls are erected around the truth.

We have emerging Super-PACs, entertainment of all types, news portals – all together pushing the boulder of reason against the mountain of dark age Jewish supremacy, breaking out of our retrograde and disoriented state to begin sweeping aside all the outmoded prescriptions for life.

We’re the new normal.
