A third of young adults in the UK are unable to name Auschwitz or any of the other concentration camps and ghettoes where the crimes of the Holocaust were committed, according to a study.

Other growing gaps in knowledge – especially among those aged 18-29 – were also identified, as part of a major international survey in countries including the US and UK.

The findings have been released before the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust and the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz’s liberation on Monday. It comes amid fears of a resurgent far right and alarm over rising antisemitism.

More than a quarter of people surveyed in the UK were unable to name a single camp or ghetto established by the Nazis during the second world war.

King Charles will travel to Auschwitz on Monday to mark the liberation, joining survivors and other dignitaries as well as meeting Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda.

It comes as the prime minister pledged to make Holocaust education in the UK “a truly national endeavour”, saying his government would “ensure all schools teach it”.

On Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember the six million Jewish people who were brutally murdered.

In answer to being asked to name the concentration camps, death camps, killing sites, transit camps or ghettoes they had heard of, 26% of those surveyed in the UK said they did not know any of their names. The proportion was 33% among those aged 18-29 in the UK, although the figure was as high as 48% among those surveyed in the US.

The wheels of justice turn slow in Germany. So slow, that you might murder 3,300 people, and not be charged with a crime for 80 years.

But the wheels turn, and after those 80 years, you will eventually pay for killing those 3,300 people.

German courts have opened the way for a 100-year-old alleged former concentration camp guard to stand trial, overturning an earlier lower court’s decision that he was unfit to do so.

The suspect, identified as Gregor Formanek in the German media, was charged last year with complicity in the murder of more than 3,300 people while working in an SS guard battalion at the Sachsenhausen death camp during World War II.

An medical expert determined in February that the centenarian was unable to stand trial due to his physical and mental condition. A district court in Hanau then made the decision to not continue proceedings.

A higher regional court in Frankfurt on Tuesday found the expert’s findings to have been insufficient, after a local prosecutor’s office and several co-plaintiffs lodged complaints about the Hanau district court decision.

Frankfurt Attorney General Torsten Kunze welcomed the move, stressing the trial could be one of the last of its kind, underscoring its historical importance, German daily Frankfurter Rundschau wrote on Tuesday.

I’m not sure about “historical importance,” but it is historic.

Never before in history has someone murdered 3,300 people and not been charged for 80 years.

Well, that hadn’t happened before a couple years ago, when the Germans started rolling out all these 100 year old men and accusing them of mass murders. There is never any evidence (there couldn’t be evidence from 80 years ago) and no one thinks a 100 year old is fit to stand trial.

It’s just “the ritual torture of the elderly for the sake of edifying the Jews.”

It’s not different than in India where people torture children in front of pagan idols in order to gain the favor of a demon.

Germany’s Federal Court of Justice (BGH) on Tuesday upheld the conviction of a 99-year-old former concentration camp secretary of complicity in the murder of over 10,000 people.

The woman, identified as Irmgard F. in accordance with German privacy laws, worked as a stenographer and typist at the Stutthof death camp near Nazi-occupied Danzig, now Gdansk in northwestern Poland.

An estimated 65,000 people died at Stutthof. Victims included Jewish prisoners, Polish partisans and Soviet Russian prisoners of war.

In 2022, a juvenile court in Itzehoe in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein sentenced Irmgard F. to two year’s probation for complicity in murder in 10,505 cases and attempted murder in 5 cases.

The defendant was tried in a juvenile court as the crimes were committed between 1943 and 1945, when she was only 18 to 19 years of age.

In 2021, she was caught attempting to escape the trial by fleeing her elderly care home.

Listen. If you work as a secretary at a death camp, let the guards do the killing.

A leading far-right German politician has gone on trial, accused of using a Nazi slogan.

Björn Höcke, who leads the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in Thuringia, is being tried for saying the words “Everything for Germany!” at a 2021 rally.

The slogan is associated with the SA stormtroopers, who played a key role in the Nazis’ rise to power.

Mr Höcke – a former history teacher – denies knowing the phrase’s roots.

He faces up to three years’ imprisonment.

At another rally in December 2023, he said: “Everything for…”, to which the audience responded: “Germany!”

Prosecutors sought to try him for both incidents but the court in Halle decided to judge him only for the 2021 rally. A verdict is expected next month.

Articles in the German press have pointed to the recorded use of the slogan by several high-ranking Nazis, including Adolf Hitler’s deputy Rudolf Hess and the head of the Wehrmacht high command, Wilhelm Keitel.

Laws banning the Nazi salute and the display or sale of symbols associated with terror groups came into effect in Australia on Monday as the government responds to a rise in antisemitic incidents following the Israel-Gaza war.

The law makes it an offense punishable by up to 12 months in prison to publicly perform the Nazi salute or display the Nazi swastika or the double-sig rune associated with the Schutzstaffel (SS) paramilitary group.

The sale and trade of these symbols is similarly prohibited.

Attorney General Mark Dreyfus said in a statement the legislation sent a clear message there was no place in Australia for those who glorify the Holocaust or terrorist acts.

“This is the first legislation of its kind and will ensure no one in Australia will be allowed to glorify or profit from acts and symbols that celebrate the Nazis and their evil ideology.”

Introduced in June and passed in December, the law has taken on new significance amid a surge in antisemitism and Islamophobia following the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas, where some 1,200 were killed and 240 taken hostage, according to Israeli officials.

It’s always hard to read sentence, which has appeared in so many thousands of news articles, with a straight face.

They are saying: “since the Jews started mass slaughtering children, more people have started hating Jews for no reason.” They are literally saying that that the two things are not connected, because antisemitism, by definition, cannot be related to Jewish behavior.

It’s confusing.

If you ban anything at all, you open yourself up to banning everything.

If you refuse to ban anything, then you have a strong position. But once you’ve decided something was “too much,” then you are offering an implicit endorsement of everything you don’t ban.

Substack will be totally censored into oblivion by this time next year.

Substack has removed several publications for inciting violence, the newsletter publisher said in a statement shared with CNN Tuesday, as writers from across the platform threatened to quit over the presence of pro-Nazi content.

After Casey Newton, founder of Substack tech news publication Platformer, flagged a list of publications violating content guidelines to the company, Substack says it is removing five.

None of the nixed newsletters have paid subscribers and, in total, account for about 100 active readers, according to the company.

At the time of writing, I couldn’t find what any of these newsletters were, or what they said.

Of course, it doesn’t matter. The Jews probably made these themselves so they could complain about them and then get Substack to institute censorship.

Now, they’re on the slippery slope.

The decision to remove the content could represent a change of heart for Substack, a subscription network through which writers can publish free or paid newsletters that has taken a very hands-off approach to moderation.

The company has said it aims to be a hub for individual voices, expert thought and critical discourse that it claims are harder to find in mainstream media.

Although the platform has explicit guidelines banning content that incites violence, a November article in The Atlantic pointed out at least 16 different newsletters with Nazi symbols, as well as many more supporting far-right extremism, leading to calls for change from many Substack authors and a refusal from leadership.

A December letter signed by more than 200 of the platform’s authors decried the presence of newsletters pushing Nazi and white nationalist views with thousands of paid subscribers, claiming Substack was allowing this content to exist and profiting off of them.

Substack takes 10% of profits from paid newsletters.

“From our perspective as Substack publishers, it is unfathomable that someone with a swastika avatar, who writes about ‘The Jewish question,’ or who promotes Great Replacement Theory, could be given the tools to succeed on your platform,” the letter reads.

Yeah, well – it’s call the “US Constitution,” Jews, and if you don’t like it, you should go live in your own country.

In response, co-founder Hamish McKenzie released a statement in late December refusing to remove such newsletters, saying the move would limit free speech and open discourse.

“I just want to make it clear that we don’t like Nazis either — we wish no-one held those views. But some people do hold those and other extreme views,” McKenzie wrote in December. “Given that, we don’t think that censorship (including through demonetizing publications) makes the problem go away — in fact, it makes it worse.”

Ah.

Such innocence.

Although the company is now removing several such newsletters, Substack says it does not plan on changing its current decentralized approach to moderation that “gives power to readers and writers,” McKenzie wrote in December in a newsletter the company reshared with CNN Tuesday.

“If and when we become aware of other content that violates our guidelines, we will take appropriate action,” the company wrote.

Substack has raised millions from major venture capital firms such as Andreessen Horowitz and has been valued at between $500 million and $1 billion in those funding rounds.

The company recruited some big name writers from other media outlets such as Glenn Greenwald, Matthew Yglesias, Andrew Sullivan, Bari Weiss and Heather Cox Richardson, many of whom champion free speech, heterodox thinking and broad discourse.

Glenn Greenwald should quit over this.

Several of us have been through this whole thing before.

There are no “degrees of free speech.” It either exists or it doesn’t, and if it doesn’t, you are always on the path to printing nothing but government propaganda.

If someone is writing something illegal on the internet, people can call the cops. That was the view of all normal people before 2017. It’s not an extreme position.

I’ve said from the beginning: it is illegal in Germany for AfD to take power. Germany is occupied militarily by the United States, and all major government action has to be approved by the United States, and it is impossible that the United States would approve AfD taking power.

I have, at various points, asserted that this means the AfD is useless. I now don’t believe that at all, and believe it is actually extremely important, because when the Anal Empire collapses, and the Germans finally have the right to self-determination restored, the AfD is going to be the group that collaborates with the Russians to become the new government of Germany.

It’s a funny situation the AfD is in. It is a party composed of two groups:

• Hardcore Hitler-conscious and Holohoax-denying Germans who want to restore the true greatness of the nation pretending to be Charlie Kirk style moderates, and
• Actual Charlie Kirk style moderates who don’t understand that the Charlie Kirk bullshit is a cover for a plan to restore the Reich

The two groups don’t even have a clear way to identify each other, because it would be impossible.

By the way, I have never had any communication with anyone from AfD. In general, I refuse to talk personally to anyone who might at some point gain political power, because there is too much risk involved and I say everything I think on my website anyway, meaning discussion with me is of minimal value (plus, in private conversation and personal relationship, I’m actually very difficult to get along with, believe it or not).

My assertion that the AfD is lined with serious people pretending to be moderates is based on public observation. This is the same observation of the German state – “this is an illegal group masquerading as a semi-legal group.”

Of course, in a “real democracy” (there is no such thing, actually – at least not now), Germany would be allowed to have a “National Socialist Workers Party.” All of the former communist states still have communist parties. There is zero explanation, under the supposed rules of the “democracy order,” as to why Germany is not allowed to have a Nazi Party that stands in elections.

The German government is going to keep arresting members of the AfD, and they are not, under the current system, going to be allowed to take power. However, they should, like all of the other equivalent parties in Europe, continue to persevere, because this system is not going to last forever.

A New Dawn is coming.

Until then, Germans really need to keep this Hitler shit a bit more low-key.

If you’re German, and you have an overwhelming urge to throw up your arm and scream “Sieg Heil,” remind yourself that the day is coming when every arm will straighten and every tongue will Heil. But that day is not today.

Do not, ever, under any circumstances, keep Nazi shit at your house. I know it’s inspirational, I know you can feel the power in it, but denying yourself that is a sacrifice you have to make.

A legislator with the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party was arrested on Monday on charges including displaying forbidden totalitarian symbols, with neighbours of his fraternity complaining of often hearing the Nazi “Sieg Heil” victory salute.

Newly elected Daniel Halemba, 22, is to take up his seat in the Bavarian regional parliament on Thursday. He is a member of the Teutonia Prague student fraternity, whose premises were raided by police in September.

He’s 22, and looks like some kind of genius.

Man, this sucks.

During the raid, officials said, they found forbidden symbols – Germany’s constitution forbids the display of symbols of totalitarian regimes such as the swastika – and neighbours complained of hearing “Sieg Heil” (Hail Victory) from inside.

A prosecution spokesperson said Halemba would be brought before court later on Monday or Tuesday. Charges include inciting racist abuse.

A national conversation that is increasingly dominated by discussion of migration has helped the AfD to a series of strong electoral showings far beyond its old heartlands in the post-industrial east, with voters seemingly unperturbed by its rightward drift.

The party, second in polls in several eastern states, achieved record results in the western states of Bavaria and Hesse on 8 October.

The party and its youth wing are under observation in several states, with prominent figures such as the lead European parliament candidate Maximilian Krah comparing immigration to colonialism and stating that “oriental landgrabs” lead to “sexual abuse of European girls”.

“Oriental landgrabs” is the funniest term for Islamic immigration ever.

The British call Moslems “Asians,” which I always thought was extremely bizarre. But that is technically valid, as the Middle East is technically a part of the Asian continent, and Pakistan is called “Central Asia.”

But “oriental” is a explicitly synonymous with the Sinosphere.

There is an allegedly apocryphal Benjamin Franklin quote warning about the threat of the Jews where he refers to them as “oriental,” but this was a reference to a belief that they were related to the mongols.

EDIT: Wait, no sorry – I looked this up (the “Frankly Prophecy” has a Wiki page with the full text). He didn’t use the word “oriental,” but that has been applied to the Jews by someone like that at some point, but I’ve never heard it applied to Arabs or Pakistanis.

Rightwing extremist and anti-democratic attitudes are becoming increasingly widespread in Germany, according to a study examining the public’s political views.

Commissioned by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, which is closely affiliated with the Social Democratic party, the study showed that 8% of the population had a distinctly rightwing extremist view of the world, a rise of between 5% and 6% on previous studies, while the “centre middle” was becoming “ever more receptive to misanthropic positions”.

Friedrich Ebert was a social democrat politician during the Weimar Republic. He’d probably be called a “far-right extremist” if he were around today.

The findings also showed that an increase, to 6% of those questioned, advocated social Darwinist views, agreeing with the statement “there are worthy and unworthy lives”, up from 2% to 3% since 2014.

More people than in previous studies – 15.5% – considered themselves to be “right of centre”, while 55% saw themselves as “exactly in the centre”, compared with 60% or above in the previous decade.

Those desirous of a single-party and authoritarian led state (the word used in the study was führer), rose from between 2% and 4% in 2014 to 2021, to 6% now.

Once that particular number hits 10%, you’re going to see some serious shit.

(In theory, of course.)

The 400-page study, carried out by researchers at the University of Bielefeld, questioned 2,000 people at the start of 2023, who represent a cross-section of the population.

An increasing number said they saw the need for Germany to put itself first in national matters, with 16% saying they would like the country to have a “stronger sense of national identity” led by politicians whose priority it should be to ensure Germany has its fair share of “power and prestige”.

This is something the majority of people in most countries on earth would tell you they want if you asked them, but in Germany just 16% of them are saying it is a “cause for concern.”

Less than 60% said they had faith in democracy and institutions, with 20% – a rise of 4% – believing in the statement “our country increasingly resembles a dictatorship rather than a democracy”, while almost a third said the statement “the governing parties are deceiving the people” rang true, and a similar number said they believed that politicians and the media were “in bed together”.

More than a third believe that refugees came to Germany only in order to exploit its social welfare system, while 16.5% accused Jewish people of wanting to “take advantage” of the Nazi past – despite the fact that 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazis. Other parts of the study showed further antisemitic positions, or at the very least ambivalence over the issue.

Firstly, six million Jews were not murdered by the Nazis. That is retarded and totally disproven.

Secondly, even if that had happened – how would that mean that it is somehow impossible for the Jews to “take advantage” of that fact?

Every single person accused of a heinous crime has their lawyers do an entire bit about how bad their childhood was. This is every single murder case. Look it up if you’re not already aware of it. Every time someone is on trial for murder or some other crime, the lawyer, as a matter of procedure, does a whole thing about how bad the childhood was.

Can you imagine the media saying “the jury thinks the man should go to prison for killing those nine people – despite the fact that he was raised by a single mother and was sexually abused by several of her boyfriends”?

“But bad things happened to me though” is never considered a viable excuse for crimes.

And again: the Holocaust did not even happen, so it’s a moot point.

People become nationalistic when everything else fails because everything else always fails

Probably, people don’t really understand this, but every year that has passed since the alleged “Jew Holocaust” allegedly took place, the propaganda about this supposed historical event has gotten more and more virulent.

They need ways to remind people of just how important this supposed “lampshades and soap” event was, so they dig up random old men who were alive at the time – who were never charged with anything in the 80 years since the thing supposedly happened – and charging them with crimes.

These “crucifixions of the elderly” also remind the Germans and the rest of the world of the brutality of the Jews. Obviously, no one thinks that new evidence popped up after 80 years, so they are doing what we call “a vulgar display of power” against the goyim.

It’s regrettable that these old men are forced to undergo this kind of treatment, but it shows the true desperation of the Jews.

A 98-year-old man has been charged in Germany with being an accessory to murder as a guard at the Nazis’ Sachsenhausen concentration camp between 1943 and 1945, prosecutors said Friday.

The German citizen, a resident of Main-Kinzig county near Frankfurt, is accused of having “supported the cruel and malicious killing of thousands of prisoners as a member of the SS guard detail,” prosecutors in Giessen said in a statement.

They did not release the suspect’s name.

He is charged with more than 3,300 counts of being an accessory to murder between July 1943 and February 1945.

The indictment was filed at the state court in Hanau, which will now have to decide whether to send the case to trial.

If it does, he will tried under juvenile law, taking account of his age at the time of the alleged crimes.

Prosecutors said that a report by a psychiatric expert last October found that the suspect is fit to stand trial at least on a limited basis.

I don’t know that it was ever possible to build an entire society’s underling moral and philosopical framework around any single historical event, let alone was as ridiculously and obviously false as the “Holocaust.”

However, if that was ever possible, the Jews have screwed it up.

People are very tired of having this tripe forced down their throats so aggressively. Most people won’t admit it, of course, because they don’t want their lives destroyed. But we’re seeing it among the youth.

Frankly, I’m not sure what percentage of this is a result of the Daily Stormer penetrating the collective consciousness of the youth, and what part of it is simply a natural exhaustion from being systematically berated by the Jews.

It’s going to be difficult to keep this charade up in the age of AI.

The redesign of the house where Adolf Hitler was born will go ahead as planned, Austria’s interior ministry has said, after a documentary aired new claims about the late Nazi dictator’s wishes for it.

After years of legal wrangling, the government decided to turn the house in the northern town of Braunau, where Hitler was born in 1889, into a police station with a human rights training centre. Work will begin on 2 October.

Oh, so basically they’re going to include a synagogue.

In an attempt to prevent the building on the border with Germany becoming a neo-Nazi shrine, the government took control of the dilapidated building in 2016. The expropriation ended a bitter saga between the state and the former owner.

“Everything will go ahead as planned,” an interior ministry spokesperson said.

The Austrian director Günter Schwaiger, however, said the ministry’s plans for the house will “always be suspected” of being “in line with the dictator’s wishes”. He is expected to release a documentary about the building later this month.

As evidence Schwaiger cited the discovery of a local newspaper article from 10 May 1939, which states that it was Hitler’s wish to have his birth house converted into offices for the district authorities.

Well, the reason Hitler would have wanted that is because Hitler was, at the time, the most famous person on earth, and it didn’t make sense for a house he was associated with to be a private home. Plus I think he might have owned it at the time and was donating it, or knew the current owner, or something.
