In light of an increase in knife attacks, Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser plans to further tighten gun laws. In the new gun law, she announced in “Bild am Sonntag” that she will “further restrict the carrying of knives in public.” This means that knives with a blade length of up to six centimeters, instead of the current twelve centimeters, will be allowed to be carried in public. Exceptions will only be made for household knives “in closed containers after purchase.” “For dangerous switchblades, we want to create a general ban on carrying them. We will present the corresponding changes to the gun law soon,” said Faeser.

Similar tightening measures had previously been demanded by the states. The Minister then called on the municipalities to create more “gun and knife-free zones.” Knife bans must be “strictly enforced, just like the Federal Police does with checks at train stations,” she said. According to police statistics, there were 8951 cases of dangerous and serious bodily harm involving knives last year, either to injure someone or to threaten them – an increase of 5.6 percent compared to the previous year.

Since the “knife-free zones” obviously haven’t worked out so far, why not try making some murder-free zones instead?

She described Compact as “a central mouthpiece of the right-wing extremist scene,” and said that it “agitates in an unspeakable way against Jews, against people with a history of migration and against our parliamentary democracy.”

Compact appealed to the Federal Administrative Court, and sought to have the ban suspended while the court considers the case in full — a process that typically takes months. The court said that it suspended the ban Wednesday, after a summary check of the measure determined that the chances of Compact’s complaint succeeding are “open.”

It said in a statement that evidence points to “a militant and aggressive position toward elementary constitutional principles” in many articles, but there are doubts as to whether an outright ban is justified on the grounds of proportionality.

Compact is run by far-right figure Jürgen Elsässer, and produces the monthly magazine of the same name, which has a circulation of about 40,000, as well as an online video channel, Compact TV.

Compact has been published since 2010. In its annual report for 2023, Germany’s domestic intelligence agency said that it “regularly disseminates … antisemitic, anti-minority, historically revisionist and conspiracy theory content.”

The Imam Ali Mosque, known locally as the Blue Mosque, is one of Germany’s oldest mosques and is operated by the IZH.

What is the Islamic Center of Hamburg?The IZH is an organization that is considered an extension of the Iranian regime in Germany and is thought to have a significant influence over certain mosques and associations, according to Germany’s domestic intelligence services.

The IZH is being probed for “spreading aggressive antisemitism,” Faeser said on Wednesday, adding that raids against the group in November established proof of connections to Hezbollah and led to Wednesday’s ban.

This organization has been around since the 60s, but the first time it got raided was one month after Jews started bombing Gaza.

In a statement, the Interior Ministry said that it “banned the Hamburg Islamic Centre and its affiliated organizations throughout Germany to date, as it is an Islamist extremist organization pursuing anti-constitutional objectives”.

The ministry accused the organization of spreading Iranian revolutionary ideas, writing the IZH worked to spread those ideas “in an aggressive and militant manner.”

Germany’s Interior Ministry banned the right-wing extremist Compact magazine, it said on Tuesday.

Authorities searched properties related to the magazine in four German states: Brandenburg, Hesse, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. The aim of the raid was to confiscate assets and evidence, the ministry said.

The ban also applies to Compact’s subsidiary Conspect Film, and prohibits any continuation of previous activities.

German police shot dead a knifeman who attacked an anti-Islamism rally in the German city of Mannheim on Friday. Among the casualties were anti-Islamism activist Michael Stürzenberger and a policeman.

Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said on X that “if the investigation reveals an Islamist motive, then that would be further confirmation of the great danger posed by Islamist acts of violence that we have warned about.” German authorities have been on increased alert for Islamist terrorism since the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7th.

Social media footage showed a bearded man attacking people in the city’s central Marktplatz square with a knife. One police officer was fighting for his life in the hospital on Friday evening after having been stabbed at least twice in the head, Bild reported.

Stürzenberger, a well-known anti-Islamism activist and leader of the German branch of Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE), was appearing as a speaker at the event, arranged by the grassroots organization Pax Europa. He was targeted by the attacker while standing by an Israeli and a German flag next to a sign saying “Stop political Islam!”

A bystander initially intervened and attempted to stop the perpetrator, as did one of Stürzenberger’s employees, but the knifeman pulled free.

Police, already at the market square to provide protection for the event, initially mistook a Pax Europa security guard for the assailant. As a police officer was holding down the wrong person, the bearded young knife wielding man stabbed the officer in the head.

Yeah, okay. Well.

Frankly, I think “anti-immigrant” rallies would be more effective than “anti-Islam” rallies.

This is the beginning of a narrative we’re going to start hearing a lot more of very soon: the Chinese are working with right-wing groups in order to undermine the West.

Remember what they did with Russia, claiming that Trump was involved with the Russians? That is pretty much the basis for the massive leftist support for the war in the Ukraine. No one can explain why else the left, which is supposedly opposed to US imperialism, would support an imperialistic US war against Russia.

The Chinese are next for this framing. They can just arrest random Chinese people involved in right-wing movements and accuse them of being spies as they drum-up this narrative.

A close adviser to a leading member of Germany’s far-right populist Alternative für Deutschland party (AfD) has been arrested on suspicion on spying for China in the latest high-profile espionage case to have come to light.

The man, identified by prosecutors as Jian G, was accused of “an especially severe instance” of espionage, prosecutors said, following his arrest in the early hours of Tuesday morning. It comes after the arrests of three German citizens accused of industrial spying for China in return for payment.

Maximilian Krah, the AfD’s top candidate in the European parliamentary elections in early June, said in a statement that he found out about the arrest of his employee Jian Guo from the press on Tuesday.

“I do not have further information,” Krah said. He added that “spying activity for a foreign state is a serious allegation” that, if proven, would lead to the employee’s immediate dismissal. Both the AfD’s website and European parliament list Jian Guo as an assistant to Krah.

His arrest in Dresden, where he lives with his wife and family, took place just a week after the chancellor, Olaf Scholz, visited China to work on bilateral economic relations and discuss Beijing’s political and logistical support for Russia in its war on Ukraine.

Prosecutors said the man was aged 43 and had dual German and Chinese citizenship, and said it was believed he had been spying for the Chinese secret services for years. Investigators have accused Guo of spying in particular on Chinese opposition figures living in exile in Germany, having apparently posed as a dissident himself, and passing the information on to a liaison officer.

“He is accused of an especially severe case of working for a foreign secret service,” prosecutors said in a statement released to German media.

Guo had also offered his services to the German intelligence authorities around a decade ago but was turned down amid suspicions he planned to operate as a double agent, prosecutors said.

He came to Germany as a student, later working as a businessman, including for a solar panel company and an LED trader, and became Krah’s assistant in Brussels when he became a member of the European parliament in 2019. Shortly after, he accompanied Krah on a trip to China. He is believed to have been working for Beijing as a spy at this point at the latest, prosecutors said.

In January 2024 he passed on information about negotiations and decisions made in the European parliament, prosecutors said.

As well as demonstrating his enthusiasm for Xi Jinping, Guo was actively involved in criticism towards the so-called white-sheet movement protesting against the Chinese regime. He also set up the organisation Neue Seidenstraße (New Silk Road), which investigators said was little more than an interest group to influence Germany on behalf of the Chinese government.

Yeah, because there are no organizations active in China and Chinese territories attempting to influence the Chinese to support the West. (It case you hadn’t noticed, I’m being sarcastic.)

The German interior minister, Nancy Faeser, said there would be an “exhaustive investigation” of the charges. If they were proved to be true, she said, the case would be nothing less than “an attack on European democracy from within”.

She said Krah and the AfD would also be potentially culpable. “Whoever employs a staffer such as this, also has responsibility for this,” she said.

A spokesman for the AfD called the arrest “very disturbing”, adding that the party “will do all it can to help the investigation”.

Why would they do that?

However, the even more shocking number may have to do with violent crimes, which soared to record levels in 2023.

The data from the interior ministry shows that 41 percent of all crime suspects are foreigners, with 2.246 million people in the country suspected of a crime in 2023, which is 7.3 percent more than in 2022. Overall, foreigners only represent 15 percent of the population.

The shocking numbers have hit Germany like a thunderclap and could have a number of political implications.

The head of the German Police Union, Rainer Wendt, slammed Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) after the drastic rise in foreign crime was revealed.

“The Federal Minister of the Interior is becoming more and more like ‘Nancy in Wonderland’ when she is astonished to discover that Germany has become more violent,” Wendt told Bild. He argued that one would only be surprised with this outcome “if one has completely lost contact with the population.”

The government is now racing to naturalize millions of foreigners in order to ensure that they are not counted under “foreign” crime but are instead counted as “Germans,” as German crime statistics list anyone who commits a crime as “German” regardless of their migration background as long as they have a German passport.

Critics like to claim that much of the “foreign crime” actually consists of immigration law violations. However, this is not the case. For one, these figures do not include violation of immigration law, which were excluded from the data. When one examines the data, foreigners are vastly overrepresented is in serious crime, especially violent crimes.

In fact, half of all violent crimes in Germany were committed by foreigners.

Who committed the other half?

In 2023, the authorities registered around 214,000 violent crimes, an increase of 8.6 percent, and several records were broken in this area. There was a record number of cases involving dangerous and grievous bodily harm, reaching 154,000 cases, a 6.8 percent increase. At the same time, “intentional simple assault” rose to an all-time high of 434,000 cases, jumping 7.4 percent.

Robberies soared higher by 17 percent to 44,857, which is also considered a violent crime.

Crime soared in other categories as well. For example, residential burglary rose to 77,819 cases, up 18.9 percent, car theft (29,985, up 17.5 percent), shoplifting (426,096, up 23.6 percent) and pickpocketing (109,314, up 11 percent).

Saying these people don’t commit most of the crime in any white country is retarded. No one will believe that. At least no men will believe it.

It’s better to just say “yes, they commit all the crimes, but we need them for the economy or human rights or whatever.”

By the Federal Disciplinary Act (Bundesdisziplinargesetz), which provides for different measures of punishment if a disciplinary procedure is launched against an employee of the state, the Federal Ministry of the Interior ultimately calls the shots. This puts Faeser at the center of this push to rid the police force of officers with rightist views.

Furthermore, the Federal Interior Minister, under “the right to issue instructions,” is permitted to give directives to the interior ministers of the federal states.

According to information from the 16 interior ministries of the federal states, at least 407 police officers are already being investigated or face disciplinary proceedings—and could be removed from public service—over suspicions of having ‘right-wing extremist’ views and alleged penchants for ‘conspiracy theories.’

The Bundestag’s Federal Police Commissioner Uli Grötsch, a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and a close political ally of Faeser, did his best to play up the idea that ‘right-wing extremists’ have infiltrated all aspects of society and represent an existential threat to the Constitutional order.

“We live in times in which right-wing extremists are deliberately trying to destabilize the police,” Grötsch claimed. “The danger is greater than ever before. For the entire country. And therefore also for the police.”

The use of the term ‘right-wing extremist’ is employed, perhaps more so than ever, by members of Germany’s political establishment as a means to demonize, marginalize, and exclude their ideological opponents and democratic political challengers.

Even the former head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution under Angela Merkel, Hans-Georg Maassen, has been slapped with the label by the domestic intelligence agency—and is therefore a subject of its intrusive observation.

Maassen, in an interview with Junge Freiheit published days ago, told the newspaper that “the Office for the Protection of the Constitution has now created dossiers on many citizens in order to persecute them.”

Yeah, it’s stretching way beyond actual neo-Nazis or other groups that used to be the definition of “right-wing extremist.” It already includes anyone who votes for or is sympathetic to the AfD, which is more than 35% of the country. They are now just putting Merkel people on the list of domestic threats.

It’s anyone who is opposed to the war, is opposed to immigration, or who is not gay.

Basically, exactly like with the Bolsheviks, a very small group in German society has declared war on the mainstream of German society. Of course, it’s different than in Russia 100 years ago, because that was before women were liberated. When you have liberated women, you have a large group of people who will support whatever the government does, no matter what.
