Danish police on Friday were forced to shoot a 52-year-old man who attempted to attack Rasmus Paludan, the party leader of the Islam-critical Stram Kurs party, with a knife near an immigrant area west of Aarhus.

The attempted murder, which took place at Poet Park – where Paludan and members of Stram Kurs were holding a Koran burning demonstration at – was quickly thwarted by police. The migrant, armed with a knife, was surrounded immediately and shot in the leg before he could inflict any damage upon Paludan.

The 38-year-old lawyer and founder of the immigration and Islam-critical party was promptly evacuated from the area.

Police say the attacker, a 52-year-old male, is currently being treated at a hospital.

According to the East Jutland police, who confirmed the incident on social media, the assassination attempt came after masked individuals threw stones at police for allowing the demonstration to take place.

“I asked the man if he wanted dialogue. Then he replied, ‘Shut up.’ I tried to explain to him that it’s the opposite of dialogue,” Paludan said.

“Then I asked the man if he knew that Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile because he had sex with nine-year-old girl Aisha, but it didn’t seem like he understood what I was saying. An Iraq-born gunman died in a shootout with German police early Sunday after killing one person in a nightclub in the southern city of Konstanz, police said, ruling out terrorism as a motive.

“The motives of the man who acted alone are unclear,” Konstanz police spokesman Fritz Bezikofer told broadcaster N-TV.

“We are still investigating but the circumstances surrounding the events at the disco in the evening before the shooting are a bit clearer and this led us to rule out a terrorism background.”

A gang of Muslim men rampaged through Liverpool city centre attacking strangers because they were white “non-Muslims”.

One witness feared Amin Mohmed, Mohammed Patel and Faruq Patel were ISIS terrorists.

The drunken yobs targeted three unknown men before Mohmed, 24, and Mohammed, 20, set upon Gary Bohanna when he revealed he was Christian.

Laughing Faruq, 19, who was not convicted of a racial or religious motive, then filmed Mohmed punching St Helens councillor Paul Lynch to the ground, as his terrified girlfriend tried to protect him.

Liverpool Crown Court heard counter-terrorism officers raided the three men’s homes in Bolton after the shocking incident on March 20 last year.

The judge, Recorder Louise Brandon, said: “This was a disgraceful and sustained campaign of violence carried out on the streets of this city.”

Paul Treble, prosecuting, said fellow-Muslim Edris Nosrati spotted two of the gang attacking a man in Bold Street at around 3.30am.

He said: “He was concerned because one of them seemed to be using racist language, talking about Muslims and Christians.

“One of them came up to Mr Nosrati and said ‘are you a Muslim?’ Mr Nosrati said he was, but the man said ‘well, what’s the Muslim word?’”

He said Mr Nosrati replied with a “well-known” Arabic phrase: “There is only one God, and Muhammad is a messenger.”

The university expelled him but he had re-enrolled at Salford University and asked for “mercy” to continue his studies.

Andrew Costello, defending Faruq, said his “ashamed” client was “very drunk” but maintained he did not hit anyone or use racial abuse.

However, he conceded the “apologetic” accountancy student “tried to lie his way out of it”.

Recorder Brandon said the group may have suffered racist abuse, but targeted innocent men in “violent and senseless attacks”.

She said Mohmed and Mohammed’s punching and kicking of Mr Bohanna was aggravated by “hostility based on his religion”.

The judge said: “References to the fact he was not a Muslim was made and you appeared to justify your actions because of certain beliefs you held.”

Recorder Brandon said after the joint enterprise attack on Mr Lynch, “frightened” Miss Newton “had no idea what you were going to do next”.

She said Mohammed “confirmed those targeted that night were targeted because they were white and non-Muslim.”

Mohmed cried as he was jailed for 42 weeks. Mohammed and Faruq Patel received 42 and 18 weeks respectively in a young offenders institution.

One woman decided to invite a group of refugee children to their family’s residence. It ended with her 14-year-old daughter being raped in her girls room by a 25-year-old Arab man. But the rapist “may” not be expelled, the prosecutor claims.

The woman is living in a town in Västmanland together with her children. In the house, a so-called unaccompanied refugee child also lived in the past.

In November last year, the refugee child accompanied his brother and three other men in the 20-25’s to the family to greet. They stayed for two nights and afterwards the police reported that her 14-year-old daughter had been raped by one of the men, a 25-year-old from Syria.

The rape took place in the 14-year-old’s girl room after the man invited her to drink liquor. The girl was more or less unconscious of intoxication and has only vague memories of the incident, but she remembers how she appealed to the Arab to stop when he was raping her.

The mom, who was sleeping at the moment, was awakened by the girl’s sister to open her bedroom door and informed her what was going on. The mother first refused to believe it, but when she saw that one of the refugees wrote about the event on Facebook, she went to the girl’s bedroom and heard “a smacking noise.” She replied, however, to the refugee child that it was “just a hinge”, according to the judgment.

But then the door was opened to the room, which, according to the mother, smelled “both sweat and alcohol”, and out the stepped 25-year-old. Inside the room the daughter was naked, knocked out and unreachable.

When the Arab came down to the others after raping the girl, the refugee child who had previously lived with the Arab family went up and raped her once again because “it was best to not waste the chance”. It stated at least the brother of the refugee child to the mother, according to the judgment.
