House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-NY, argued on Sunday that, despite Special Counsel Robert Mueller deciding not to charge President Trump with obstruction of justice, he believes there is still plenty of evidence of obstruction by the president.

Nadler, who filed a subpoena Friday for Mueller’s full, unredacted report, said that Mueller only restrained from charging Trump with obstruction of justice because of the longstanding Justice Department opinion that a sitting president can’t be indicted.

“Mueller says that although a thorough FBI investigation might very well show evidence of obstruction of justice with the president, ‘we’re not going to do that because of the Department of Justice’s legal opinion that a president, a sitting president, can’t be indicted and it would be unfair to lay out the facts justifying an indictment without giving the president the opportunity and a trial to clear his name,’” Nadler said on Sunday during an appearance on NBC’s “Meet The Press.”

He added: “[Attorney General William] Barr misinterpreted that, or misrepresented that I should say, to say they didn’t find obstruction. There’s plenty of evidence of obstruction.”

Nadler expects the Justice Department to comply with his committee’s subpoena for the full report by May 1.

That’s the same day Barr is set to testify before a Senate committee and one day before he is to appear before Nadler’s panel. Nadler also has summoned Mueller to testify by May 23.

A Justice Department spokeswoman, Kerri Kupac, called Nadler’s move “premature and unnecessary.”

Barr sent Congress a redacted version of the Mueller report, blacking out several types of material, including classified information, material pertaining to ongoing investigations and grand jury evidence.

Nadler last week said he was open to working with the department on accommodations, but he also said the committee “needs and is entitled to the full version of the report and the underlying evidence consistent with past practice.”

Mueller laid out multiple episodes in which Trump directed others to influence or curtail the Russia investigation after the special counsel’s appointment in May 2017, and Trump made clear that he viewed the probe as a potentially mortal blow — “the end of my presidency.”

Nadler on Sunday questioned why Mueller did not level charges against the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., for taking a meeting with Russian operatives in Trump Tower to allegedly get compromising information on Trump’s 2016 Democratic presidential opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“I do not understand why he didn’t charge Don Jr. and others in that famous meeting with criminal conspiracy,” Nadler said. “[Mueller] said that he didn’t charge them because you couldn’t prove that they didn’t willfully intend to commit a crime, well you don’t have to prove that.”

He added: “All you have to prove for conspiracy is that they entered into a meeting of the minds to do something and had one overt act. They entered into a meeting of the minds to attend a meeting to get stolen material on Hillary. They went to the meeting. That’s conspiracy right there.”

The New York lawmaker also added that the idea of the House impeaching the president is still on the table even as some of his Democratic colleagues in the House have warned against any premature actions.

“If proven some of this would be impeachable yes. Obstruction of justice, if proven, would be impeachable,” Nadler said. “We’re going to see where the facts lead us.”

Tucker Carlson covered the Mueller hoax Thursday night, and made the point that we have all made: the Russia probe succeeded in its goal of forcing Donald Trump to bow down to the globalist agenda.

“In the ways that matter most, the Russia probe did end his presidency,” Tucker said in a segment which carried the chyron “Russia hoax ended Trump’s momentum.”

He noted that even the Republicans jumped all over this idiotic Russian hoax in order to prevent Trump from being able to do anything at all to change the status quo in the early period of his administration, when a new president is supposed to have all of the energy of the election behind him.

He continued:

An election that should have realigned our political process and changed this country had almost no effect. Two years later, virtually nothing has changed.

Millions are still flooding over our border from the third world, they’re encouraged by an army of nonprofits that instruct them to subvert and mock our laws.

The opioid epidemic rages on as horrible and as horrifying and destructive as ever.

Suicides are up.

Our troops are still bogged down in Syria and Afghanistan and many other places.

Goldman Sachs still controls our economy.

Tech companies are still spying on you and crushing your freedom of speech.

You can still have your life ruined for supporting the wrong candidate in public or for believing there are two genders.

Most ominous of all and most often ignored: Americans are dying younger and having fewer children.

None of this was ever resolved. None of it was ever talked about.

The Russia investigation didn’t destroy Trump. But it did a lot to destroy this country.

Once again, I feel like I’m watching a person on TV read my own thoughts back to me.

All of this is exactly what I’ve been saying.

They knew from the beginning that there was no way that the Russia investigation was going to go anywhere – they knew because the people who launched the investigation were the same ones who hoaxed the evidence. The pissgate dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton and the FBI and DOJ knew it was fake when they used it to get the FISA warrant to spy on Trump. They used that same hoax document – which we now know was largely copied off of a random blog by the author, Christopher Steele – to start this investigation.

The purpose of the entire thing was to thwart Trump’s ability to do anything, and to loom as this threat against him. If he doesn’t get with the program, it won’t ever go away.

He of course did get with the program. And it went away.

I am very glad to see Tucker saying plainly that Trump has done literally nothing whatsoever for the American people. Trump watches this show, and it is satisfying to know that he is hearing that his base knows that he hasn’t done a single thing.

More than that, however, I am just happy to have this information in the larger public space. I have personally been censored and financially drained to the point where I am unable to speak to a significantly large audience directly. Tucker’s reach is 20 times the reach I have, and he is also in the public debate in a way that forces people to acknowledge that someone is saying the things he is saying.

And what he is saying is that the goyim know.

A portion of Trump supporters will support him as a person no matter what he does, but an increasing number are realizing that nothing has changed under his rule and that in fact things have gotten worse.

I am happy to blame the Jews who hoaxed the Russia conspiracy for this. But it doesn’t really matter who is to blame. What matters is what’s happening, and what is happening is all of those things that Tucker listed off. All of the things that Trump promised us he would address, which we have not even had a conversation about, let alone tried to address.

Officially, there is zero forensic evidence of Russian meme-posting on Facebook or hacking of Democrats in the Mueller report.

They’re just making the claims, baselessly.

No one was ever convicted of these alleged crimes (no one even understands how posting memes is a crime, and the report doesn’t explain it).

However, it asserts that Russian “interference” in the election did happen, and says it consisted of a campaign on social media as well as Russian military intelligence (repeatedly referred to by its old, Soviet-era name, GRU) “hacking” the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the DNC, and the private email account of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair, John Podesta.

As evidence of this, the report basically offers nothing but Mueller’s indictment of “GRU agents,” delivered on the eve of the Helsinki Summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in what was surely a cosmic coincidence.

Indictments are not evidence, however, but allegations. Any time it looks like the report might be bringing up proof, it ends up being redacted, ostensibly to protect sources and methods, and out of concern it might cause “harm to an ongoing matter.”

‘Active measures’ on social media

Mueller’s report leads with the claim that the Internet Research Agency (IRA) ran an “active measures” campaign of social media influence. Citing Facebook and Twitter estimates, the report says this consisted of 470 Facebook accounts that made 80,000 posts that may have been seen by up to 126 million people, between January 2015 and August 2017 (almost a year after the election), and 3,814 Twitter accounts that “may have been” in contact with about 1.4 million people.

Those numbers may seem substantial but, as investigative journalist Gareth Porter pointed out in November 2018, they should be regarded against the background of 33 trillion Facebook posts made during the same period.

According to Mueller, the IRA mind-controlled the American electorate by spending “approximately $100,000” on Facebook ads, hiring someone to walk around New York City “dressed up as Santa Claus with a Trump mask,” and getting Trump campaign affiliates to promote “dozens of tweets, posts, and other political content created by the IRA.” Dozens!

Meanwhile, the key evidence against IRA’s alleged boss Evgeny Prigozhin is that he “appeared together in public photographs” with Putin.

Alleged hacking & release

The report claims that the GRU hacked their way into 29 DCCC computers and another 30 DNC computers, and downloaded data using software called “X-Tunnel.” It is unclear how Mueller’s investigators claim to know this, as the report makes no mention of them or FBI actually examining DNC or DCCC computers. Presumably they took the word of CrowdStrike, the Democrats’ private contractor, for it.

However obtained, the documents were published first through DCLeaks and Guccifer 2.0 – which the report claims are “fictitious online personas” created by the GRU – and later through WikiLeaks. What is Mueller’s proof that these two entities were “GRU” cutouts? In a word, this:

That the Guccifer 2.0 persona provided reporters access to a restricted portion of the DCLeaks website tends to indicate that both personas were operated by the same or a closely-related group of people.(p. 43)

However, the report acknowledges that the “first known contact” between Guccifer 2.0 and WikiLeaks was on September 15, 2016 – months after the DNC and DCCC documents were published! Here we do get actual evidence: direct messages on Twitter obtained by investigators. Behold, these “spies” are so good, they don’t even talk – and when they do, they use unsecured channels!

So it is all just fictitious bullshit.

I sort of thought they would try to present some kind of evidence.

But it is just “there were fingerprints found by Crowdstrike.”

Crowdstrike is a private company hired by the DNC and headed by an anti-Putin ethnic Russian. They have been confirmed to have hoaxed Russian hacking in the Ukraine – actually citing the exact same “fingerprints.”

This report is just as absurd as everything else associated with this ongoing hoax. It is pure fake news.
