German police shot dead a knifeman who attacked an anti-Islamism rally in the German city of Mannheim on Friday. Among the casualties were anti-Islamism activist Michael Stürzenberger and a policeman.

Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said on X that “if the investigation reveals an Islamist motive, then that would be further confirmation of the great danger posed by Islamist acts of violence that we have warned about.” German authorities have been on increased alert for Islamist terrorism since the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7th.

Social media footage showed a bearded man attacking people in the city’s central Marktplatz square with a knife. One police officer was fighting for his life in the hospital on Friday evening after having been stabbed at least twice in the head, Bild reported.

Stürzenberger, a well-known anti-Islamism activist and leader of the German branch of Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE), was appearing as a speaker at the event, arranged by the grassroots organization Pax Europa. He was targeted by the attacker while standing by an Israeli and a German flag next to a sign saying “Stop political Islam!”

A bystander initially intervened and attempted to stop the perpetrator, as did one of Stürzenberger’s employees, but the knifeman pulled free.

Police, already at the market square to provide protection for the event, initially mistook a Pax Europa security guard for the assailant. As a police officer was holding down the wrong person, the bearded young knife wielding man stabbed the officer in the head.

Yeah, okay. Well.

Members of the public restrained the alleged attacker at the scene, according to New South Wales police. Police then arrived and arrested the suspect, later identified as a 16-year-old boy, who was taken to the hospital under custody and received surgery for injuries sustained during the attack. Police initially said he was 15.

NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb told reporters Tuesday that police believe the attack was premeditated.

“We will allege [the suspect] attended that church armed with a knife and stabbed the bishop and priest … We believe there are elements that are satisfied in terms of religious motivated extremism,” she said.

A 53-year-old man received cuts to his head and a 39-year-old man, who was injured after attempting to intervene, suffered cuts and a shoulder wound, police said. Both were treated by paramedics and taken to the hospital.

“They are lucky to be alive,” Webb said.

In a statement, Christ The Good Shepherd Church said Bishop Emmanuel suffered several blows to the head and body. Parish priest Father Isaac Royel was also injured but no one else inside the church was harmed, it said.

While the bishop was bleeding, “he put his hand on the man that stabbed him and said something like, ‘May the Lord Jesus Christ Save you,’” Saliba said, citing a witness.

Video of the attack spread quickly on social media, prompting angry members of the community to converge on the church, police said. Footage showed chaotic scenes as people threw objects at police cars.

Webb, the police commissioner, condemned the “uncontrolled” crowd that gathered soon after officers and first responders arrived on the scene, calling their conduct “totally unacceptable.”

“People converged on that area and began to turn on police. People used what was available to them in the area, including bricks, concrete, palings, to assault police and throw missiles at police, and police equipment, and police vehicles,” Webb said.

NSW Ambulance Commissioner Dominic Morgan said paramedics and police were forced to retreat inside the church, where they were holed up for three and a half hours as crowds rioted outside.

“This was a rapidly evolving situation where the crowds went from 50 to hundreds of people in a very rapid period of time. Our paramedics became directly under threat,” he said.

“Six of our paramedics could not leave that facility for fear of their own safety. I echo the words of the police commissioner. This is outrageous.”

NSW Ambulance treated 30 patients, Morgan said, including seven who were taken to hospital. Around 20 were treated for the effects of pepper spray.

Some 20 police vehicles were damaged with 10 deemed unusable, police said.

It sounds like people are unhappy with the way the Australian government has decided to flood the country with violent criminals.

They’re also probably unhappy with the fact the attacker will get treated with kid gloves by this gay Australia government.

Spanish authorities said they were investigating what they called a possible “terrorist” incident after a machete-wielding man attacked several people at two churches in the southern port city of Algeciras, killing at least one person.

The man attacked clergymen at two different churches – San Isidro and Nuestra Senora de La Palma, around 1,000 feet apart – just after 8 pm on Wednesday evening in downtown Algeciras, a spokesperson for the city said. A source at Madrid’s High Court said the incident was being investigated as terrorism.

Police said the attacker had been arrested, and a police source shared footage showing two officers escorting a man in a hooded sports top in handcuffs through a police station. Police have not released details of his name or nationality. Local media, including El Pais newspaper, said he was a 25-year-old Moroccan.

The man who was killed was Diego Valencia, a sacristan at the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church, while the titular priest of the parish church of San Isidro, Antonio Rodriguez, was among the injured and is in serious condition, the Algeciras city spokesperson said.

An unknown number of others were also injured. El Mundo newspaper reported that four people were hurt in the attack.

Police said the suspect first entered the San Isidro church and attacked Rodriguez. A statement by the Algeciras Salesians said Rodriguez, 74, had been celebrating Eucharist when he was attacked.

The assailant then went into the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church where he damaged property before attacking Valencia, who fled the church but was chased by the suspect, who inflicted further, fatal injuries on him outside, police said in a statement.

A child sexual abuse whistleblower has claimed that she faced repeated efforts from the police to discourage her from reporting grooming gang activity in Rotherham.

Jayne Senior MBE, who ran the Risky Business youth project between 1999 and 2011, was a key witness in exposing the predominantly-Pakistani grooming gang crisis across the North of England, claims to have faced opposition from the police who allegedly attempted to dissuade her from passing on key evidence.

The whistleblower – who has made complaints against more than 30 officers – claimed at a police misconduct hearing in Sheffield that she was told in one meeting with police officers that she “was being racist”, “was going against perpetrators’ human rights”, and was “rocking the multicultural boat”, the BBC reports.

Senior also accused ex-Detective Sergeant David Walker of the South Yorkshire Police – who was the officer in question at the misconduct hearing – of ignoring and failing to record her concerns including that two teenage sisters (13 and 15 years old) were having sex with car wash workers.

Walker is reported to have replied to the information about the two sisters with, “this appears to be a matter for social services. Please liaise and finalise”, rather than investigate the crime himself. Walker denies all allegations of misconduct.

Senior suggested she had to do the police’s work for them saying that the information she gave “was a jigsaw. We may have one bit of information and another organisation might have another or another. We put that jigsaw together, as we did on a number of occasions”.

The former youth worker was awarded an MBE in 2016 for her services to child protection in Rotherham.

“It all started with former Prime Minister Gordon Brown when he sent his mate Tony Lloyd [a former Labour MP] a memo that said these girls’ chaotic lifestyles are the reason for their own plight [the fact they were sexually abused]. The decision to cover up and play down this appalling abuse was all about winning votes here in Rochdale and in every other British town this twisted behaviour reared its head in,” Howarth asserted.

Brown’s Labour government (2007-2010) was accused of sending a letter to all British police forces which suggested underage girls who were sexually groomed at the time had “made an informed choice about their sexual behaviour and therefore it is not for police officers to get involved in” despite such activity clearly being illegal.

Independent investigations have suggested that men of South Asian, mostly Pakistani Muslim heritage have made up the majority of grooming gang perpetrators, with their victims mostly being white working-class girls and young women.

This whole “grooming gang” hysteria is stupid anyway.

The girls are not “rape victims” and should be charged alongside the Moslems for joining up in these drug gangs.

An explosion which occurred outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital on Sunday, shortly before the nation fell silent in remembrance, has been declared a terrorist incident, police said.

British police said that Sunday’s blast in a Liverpool taxi was caused by an improvised explosive device. “Our assumption so far is that this was built by the passenger in the taxi,” Counter Terrorism North West’s Russ Jackson told gathered reporters on Monday.

Investigators said they know the identity of the passenger who blew himself up outside the hospital. “The reason why he then took it to the Women’s Hospital is unknown, as is the reason for its sudden explosion,” police noted.

Police confirmed that a fourth man had been arrested in relation to the attack; three were known to have been detained on Sunday. Jackson added that “significant items” were found during searches of two addresses in Liverpool. Investigators said they were aware of the proximity of the explosion to a nearby Remembrance Sunday event.

A joint working group will be formed and will make it possible to develop “joint analyses on current issues related to anti-Muslim racism and secularism, universalism and republican values”, the two organizations stated in a press release, adding the observation that “anti-Muslim racism is more and more prevalent and is visibly manifested in society”.

In recent years, the LICRA has observed in particular that “among all the facts of racism or discrimination of which [it] has been alerted to via its online or telephone reporting format, the reports of anti-Muslim acts (acts of a racist and discriminatory nature) are the most”.

According to 2020 figures sent to AFP, out of some 800 reports for acts of racism or anti-Semitism, 263 were acts of “anti-Maghreb or anti-Muslim” racism. And of the 492 reports received by the “online hatred” service, 114 concerned anti-Maghreb or anti-Muslim racism. The LICRA and the Great Mosque of Paris said that “there was a need to develop a new framework to support and organize the Islam of France”.

To coincide with the announcement that the LICRA will in future be funding litigation against those who voice criticism against Islam, in Guichainville, an investigation was opened against Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and National Rally General Secretary Nicolas Bay after he released a video of a mosque construction site and Quranic school.

A man has caused a series of motorway crashes in Berlin, injuring six people including three seriously in what German prosecutors described Wednesday as a deliberate act motivated by Islamic extremism.

The man appears to have had an “Islamist motivation according to our current knowledge,” prosecutors told AFP.

Local media reported that the man was a 30-year-old Iraqi who had shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is Greatest) when getting out of his car after hitting several vehicles around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Berlin police said the man caused three accidents on the Autobahn 100 in the city’s Tempelhof-Schoeneberg district before claiming that a box in his car contained a “dangerous object.”

However, when police opened the box using high-pressure water jets it was found to contain nothing but tools.

The driver was arrested and the motorway closed for several hours, causing significant travel disruption.

People with ties to Islamic extremism have committed several violent terror attacks in Germany in recent years.

The worst was a ramming attack at a Berlin Christmas market in December 2016 that killed 12. The Tunisian attacker, a failed asylum seeker, was a supporter of the Islamic State (IS) terror group.

More recently, an Islamist and his wife were convicted of planning a biological bomb attack in Germany in 2018 with the deadly poison ricin. The pair had ordered castor seeds, explosives and metal ball bearings on the internet to build the toxic bomb. In March, the man was sentenced to 10 years in prison while his wife received an eight-year sentence in June.

Since 2013, the number of Islamists considered dangerous in Germany has increased five-fold to 680, according to security services.

A court in Pakistan ruled on Tuesday that 14-year-old Christian girl Maira Shahbaz voluntarily converted to Islam and is legally married to an older Muslim man named Mohamad Nakash, even though Maira and her family say Nakash kidnapped her at gunpoint with two accomplices during the coronavirus lockdown in April.

If the ruling stands, Maira will be forced to return from the shelter where she is staying to the home where she was held hostage.

Witnesses say Maira was walking home on April 28 in the town of Madina when Nakash and two accomplices forced her into a car, fired several gunshots into the air, and sped away.

When her family reported the kidnapping, Nakash produced a “marriage certificate” that listed the girl’s age as 19, even though her family has a birth certificate proving she is only 14. The certificate listed the date of the marriage as last October, six months before Nakash abducted Maira. The Muslim cleric who ostensibly signed the birth certificate denied any involvement in the “marriage” when questioned.

In July, the Shahbaz family prevailed upon the top cleric of a local mosque to issue a fatwa (religious edict) that Nakash’s marriage certificate was invalid. Human rights activists supported the family by pointing out that not only was the imam’s signature on the document fraudulent, but Nakash was already married to another woman not mentioned on the document.

Polygamy is legal but regulated in Pakistan, and one of the regulations is that existing wives must give written approval for additional marriages.

Marriage to girls under the age of 16 is technically illegal, but activists complain the Child Marriage Restraint Act is not vigorously enforced and often set aside in favor of Islamic sharia, which allows girls to be married off once they experience their first menstrual cycle. The United Nations rates Pakistan as one of the worst countries in the world for child brides, with some 3 percent of girls wedded before the age of 15.

Pakistan has a law against forced religious conversion that stipulates a minimum age of 18 for changing religions without parental consent. This law also encounters resistance from Islamists who cite sharia and Muslim historical precedents for young children converting to Islam.

Despite the family’s efforts, it was not until the end of July that a district court ruled Maira could leave Mohamad Nakash’s custody and move to a shelter for women, pending the outcome of her case.

Stunned witnesses to Tuesday’s ruling in Lahore High Court said Maira was present and wept when the verdict was announced. Judge Raja Muhammad Shahid Abbasi overturned last week’s ruling, ruled both Maira’s conversion to Islam and her marriage to Nakash were valid, and ordered her returned to his custody.

“It is unbelievable. What we have seen today is an Islamic judgement. The arguments we put forward were very strong and cogent,” said Maira’s lawyer Khalil Tahir Sandhu.

“I became so upset as the proceedings went on, I feared I might be asked to leave the courtroom,” he added, vowing to appeal the decision all the way to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

The Shahbaz family has reportedly had little contact with Maira since she was kidnapped. According to Sandhu, Maira’s mother Nighat Shahbaz collapsed and was treated to a heart attack when seeing her for the first time since her abduction at a May court hearing. Nighat Shahbaz refused to speak with reporters after the Lahore High Court ruling.

“Around 1,000 Christian and Hindu women are abducted each year in Pakistan and typically forced to convert to Islam,” the UK Telegraph said on Wednesday, quoting the Movement for Solidarity and Peace. Christians make up about two percent of Pakistan’s population.

German authorities say police have arrested four suspected members of the Islamic State group alleged to be planning an attack on American military facilities.

Federal prosecutors said the suspects were arrested by tactical police units early Wednesday at various locations in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

They identified the men as Azizjon B., Muhammadali G., Farhodshoh K. and Sunatullokh K. — all citizens of Tajikistan. The suspects’ surnames weren’t released for privacy reasons.

The men’s alleged leader, a 30-year-old Tajik man identified only as Ravsan B., has been in jail since March 2019 on unspecified charges.

Throughout, they are alleged to have been in contact with two high-ranking IS figures in Syria and Afghanistan.

Prosecutors said the group had already obtained firearms and ammunition to carry out their attacks, while Ravsan B. had ordered materials to build an explosive device.

In order to pay for their plans, Ravsan B. allegedly accepted a $40,000 contract to assassinate someone in Albania, but the contract slaying failed.
