At least 558 people have been killed since Monday – including 50 children and 94 women – and 1,835 wounded, Lebanon’s health ministry said.

Tens of thousands have fled their homes. The Lebanese government said that there were close to 30,000 displaced people sheltering in schools across the country.

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday to discuss the conflict.

Israel’s offensive against Iran-backed Hizbullah has raised concerns that 11 months of conflict between Israel and the militant Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza will spread throughout the region.

They have not “destroyed Hamas” as they said was their goal, so they’re going ahead and spreading the war.

They planned to do this from the beginning. But anyone can see that even if they didn’t have that plan, Bibi would still be forced to spread the conflict because he has lost so badly in Gaza.

Israel is shifting its focus from Gaza to its northern border with Lebanon, where Hizbullah has been firing rockets into Israel in support of Hamas.

On Tuesday afternoon, Israel carried out what it called a “targeted” air strike in the Hizbullah stronghold of Dahiye in southern Beirut – the third time Israel has hit Lebanon’s capital city in less than a week. Israel’s military later claimed that it had killed Ibrahim Qubaisi, said to be the senior commander in charge of Hizbullah’s missiles and rocket division. Lebanon’s health ministry said six people were killed and 15 injured in the strike.

Hizbullah has also continued to launch missiles across the border between Lebanon and Israel. It said on Wednesday that it launched a rocket targeting Mossad headquarters near Tel Aviv, which it says was responsible for assassinating its leaders and blowing up pagers and walkie talkies. Lebanon does not appear to have the capacity to do very much in terms of targeting the Jews with missiles. They can make life difficult, force people in the north of the country to evacuate indefinitely, but they do not seem to be able to bombard Tel Aviv or otherwise cause any serious destruction in Israel.

At least, that is the case now. They are under full assault, so you’d think if they had the ability to blow something up in Israel, they would be doing it now.

Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has lamented the US withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, which he once signed with US counterpart Ronald Reagan, saying it would undermine international security.

The first and only president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, said that by pulling out of the 1987 treaty, the US is dealing a potentially crushing blow not only to European security, but to the entire international security system.

“The termination of the treaty will hardly be beneficial for the international community, this move undermines security not only in Europe, but in the whole world,” Gorbachev, 88, told Interfax on Friday.

He said he had hoped that Washington would reverse its course and revise the decision it made in February. It did not, and instead finalized the withdrawal on Friday, six months after it put its implementation on hold, while accusing Russia of having developed a missile in violation of its terms.

Moscow has flatly denied the allegations, and instead blamed Washington for not sticking to the agreement. Russia sees the deployment of American anti-missile defense systems to Europe, which can be easily repurposed to fire intermediate-range nuclear missiles, as a violation of the treaty.

“There still were some hopes pinned on our partners, that, unfortunately, did not materialize. I think, now we all can see that a blow has been dealt to strategic security,” Gorbachev said.

Russia, which has yet to comment on the latest statement from the US leader, has been working for weeks to establish humanitarian corridors in Idlib province. Shortly before Trump’s tweet, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that Russia, Turkey and Iran are working to separate armed opposition and terrorists in the area so that any potential military operations spares civilian lives. At the same time, Lavrov stressed that terrorists in Syria are still being supplied with weapons and munitions.

Here’s the kicker.

For the last couple of weeks, the Russian military has also been warning that militants are preparing to stage a fake chemical weapons attack in Idlib in order to frame Damascus. Moscow repeatedly raised concern that such a false flag attack could serve as a pretext for the US and its allies to carry out airstrikes on Syrian government targets, which would further jeopardize the reconciliation process in the country.

The Russians have been predicting thith for weeks.

It’s all they ever talk about:

They’ve been saying that NATO is going to do a false flag in Syria within the week.

And then, within the week, we have the same shenanigans getting started.

Poof! Like magic. How did they know? 

The US earlier stated that it would ‘retaliate’ to a possible chemical attack by the Syrian government, using more firepower than it did back in April. Trump’s latest warning, comes amid Russian military exercise in the Mediterranean, involving 25 ships and strategic bombers, that the Kremlin hinted was linked to the situation in Syria’s Idlib. Earlier, the US Navy also deployed guided missile destroyers USS Ross and USS The Sullivans to the region. That battle group also includes B-1B Lancer bombers that were redeployed to an air base in Qatar.

Hmm.

Now, I don’t want to overreact. The last time, things got a bit weird, but it all sort of worked out in the end. Trump fired off some missiles and most of them got shot down by the Russian systems that the SAA was operating.

Based on Trump’s recent winning streak, there is no real reason to believe anything worse than that will happen this time.

Best case scenario: this was just a tweet. No real threat there. Perhaps he is covertly warning Russians that there is going to be a fake gas attack and he doesn’t have the ability to stop the Jews from doing it.

Middle case scenario: the US lobs a few missiles at some army bases, gets them shot down and then Lockheed or whoever gets a fresh order, people get their salaries paid, the economy gets a stimulus, Trump rides a red MAGA wave in the midterms and we can put this stupidity behind us.

Worst case scenario: the US hits some Russians. At which point they retaliate and sink a boat. And then the Jews finally have a reason to get Trump to start more active measures against Russia.

This is frustrating because the war in Syria is so close to being over.

Idlib is the last big push. With Turkey helping to tighten the noose, the Qatari-supported rebels can finally be slaughtered. Once that’s done, something needs to be done about the Kurds. And then the Turks. But the main population centers of Syria will be secured.

Assad will have won. 

And yet, Assad insists on gassing those babies. He just loves to gas, gas, gas.

The Israelis were attempting to attack the Syrian T4 air base in Homs province. Initial reports are indicating that the attack did not go as well as the Jews had hoped.

Syrian state media is reporting that Syrian air defenses just hit an Israeli fighter jet and shot down Israeli missiles that were targeting one of their air bases.

Syrian military air defences struck an Israeli warplane and shot down Israeli missiles targeting the T4 air base in Homs province in response to an act of “aggression” on Sunday night, Syrian state media said.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said Israel does not comment on foreign reports.

Israel has grown deeply alarmed by the expanding clout of its arch enemy Iran during the seven-year war in neighbouring Syria. Israel’s air force has struck scores of targets it describes as Iranian deployments or arms transfers to Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah.

Damascus, as well as its allies Iran and Russia, blamed Israel for an April 9 air strike on the same Homs base, an attack that killed seven Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) members. Tehran vowed at the time to respond.

Syrian state news agency SANA said the missile attack on Sunday caused only material damage.

“Our air defence systems thwarted an Israeli aggression and brought down a number of missiles that were targeting the T4 airport,” it cited a military source as saying.

The air defences hit one of the “attacking planes and forced the rest to leave” Syrian air space, it added.

Assuming that these reports are accurate, this is a fairly significant event. Israeli fighter jets have long maintained air supremacy in the region. They’ve been regularly attacking Syrian infrastructure with impunity for awhile now.

It’s possible that Israeli assets were targeted with Russian supplied S-300 surface to air missile systems. Russia only talked about providing Syria with these advanced air defense systems after their infrastructure was attacked by American, British and French warships a few months back. These attacks were launched in response to the second baby gassing hoax that was pushed heavily by the Jew-run media.

In case you don’t recall, they claimed that Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad had gassed children for a second time. This despite the fact that he had nothing to gain by doing this. The so-called proof was a video showing a group of children being sprayed with water hoses. There was no other evidence presented proving that a chemical weapons attack even took place or that Assad had ordered it. The propaganda was retard-tier nonsense.

Unfortunately, the Jews have multi-billion dollar media megaphones to broadcast their propaganda and this impacts the decision making of world leaders. The silver lining to this is that the retaliation over the hoax was limited and it gave the Russians an excuse to install the more sophisticated air defense systems in Syria. Prior to this, installing the systems might have been perceived as a provocative action.

A few months ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Russian leader Vladimir Putin about this very subject. It was reported that Russia decided not to provide the S-300 systems to Syria. Of course if Putin was going to provide these systems, there’s no reason that he would have told Netanyahu or even make an official announcement about it. After all, these systems represent a deterrent to Israeli fighter jets. And in all forms of warfare, the element of surprise is key.

But if the Russians have given the Syrians the capability to shoot down Israeli fighter jets, be it the S-300 or otherwise, that’s going to present a big problem for Israel moving forward.

Interestingly enough, Netanyahu will be meeting with Putin again this week to discuss various security matters.

He’s probably not pleased about this unsuccessful military operation, especially now that Assad’s forces have taken back control over much of the country. And of course the Iranians are still operating inside of Syria as well. The outcome of Netanyahu’s meeting with Putin will definitely be interesting to watch.

What’s certain is that the Israelis are not doing well on the geopolitical front. Their aggressive actions are becoming increasingly counterproductive and they seem to be incapable of realizing it.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson gave a press conference on Tuesday and addressed the situation in North Korea. He said that the United States was open to dialogue with North Korea, but only if they gave up their nuclear program.

The United States does not seek to topple the North Korean government and would like dialogue with Pyongyang at some point, but only on the understanding that it can never be a nuclear power, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters at the State Department days after Pyongyang tested its second intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), Tillerson reiterated that Washington sought to persuade North Korea to give up its missile and nuclear weapons programs through peaceful pressure.

“We do not seek a regime change, we do not seek a collapse of the regime, we do not seek an accelerated reunification of the peninsula, we do not seek an excuse to send our military north of the 38th Parallel,” Tillerson said.

“We are not your enemy … but you are presenting an unacceptable threat to us, and we have to respond. And we hope that at some point they will begin to understand that and we would like to sit and have a dialogue with them.”

However, “a condition of those talks is there is no future where North Korea holds nuclear weapons or the ability to deliver those nuclear weapons to anyone in the region, much less the (U.S.) homeland,” he said.

I get that they’re trying to extend an olive branch while still maintaining a strong position, but this is not a realistic approach.

American foreign policy over the past several decades has ensured that North Korea will never give up their nuclear program. Their nuclear arsenal is their primary deterrent to prevent an invasion.

After the American led invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya it is obvious why North Korea has made their nuclear program a priority. George W. Bush even declared them a part of the “Axis of Evil”.

Looking at it from their perspective, they have to assume that they’re next on the list. That’s why we see them developing ICBMs. If they develop the ability to attach a nuclear weapon on to one of their ICBMs, it would represent the ultimate deterrent to American aggression.

Maybe if America didn’t fight all these stupid ZOG wars, North Korea wouldn’t have felt so compelled to pour all this energy into developing nuclear weapons. Of course nobody looks at it from that perspective.

Worse yet is that the Zionist warmongering mad man Lindsey Graham was on national television pushing for war. I don’t believe him for a second when he says that he prefers a diplomatic solution. Just listen to how he talks about this.

There should be open dialogue with no strings attached. It’s not like anything is lost by holding talks. I honestly don’t see what’s gained by placing an unrealistic precondition on holding the talks themselves.

If direct talks are not yet feasible, they should at least try sending Dennis Rodman back over there.

The North Korean long-range missiles that jangled nerves across the world when paraded through Pyongyang last month were ‘almost certainly’ fake, government experts and independent researchers have claimed.

The weapons, which were showcased in a lavish show of military muscle to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean war armistice, were heavily criticised by researchers who insisted they would be unable to fly let alone unleash a deadly attack on the US.

The revelation casts further doubt on the hermit nation’s bellicose showboating after its failed Unha-3 rocket launch in April 2012.

‘My opinion is that it’s a big hoax,’ said Markus Schiller, an aerospace engineer in Munich and former RAND Corp. military analyst.

He said he saw no evidence of ‘retro rockets’ on the back of the Hwasong-13s, hardware that is necessary to propel them into sub-orbital space and strike faraway targets.

James Oberg, an NBC News space and missile expert who witnessed first hand the 2012 failed launch, agreed, pointing to ‘undulating skin’ in the warheads that proves they are bogus.

‘Upper-stage missile skin has got to be really smooth, or else it sets off high-speed turbulent air flow that can both heat the region and also create localized drag effects that can pull the missile far off attitude (direction), or even pull it sideways and thus lead to loss of control and disintegration,’ he said.

Schiller added that North Korea also seems to be trying to inflate the number of Hwasong-13s it claims to possess, saying it reproduces old pictures of warheads to pass them off as new

‘I can tell that on the mock-ups, they simply changed the markings and serial numbers from last year’s parade to make it look like they have more missiles,’ he said.

It is not the first time North Korea’s missile capabilities have been called into question.

In 2012, experts claimed the North Korean missiles that were paraded as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the country’s founding father, Kim Il Sung, were also probably fakes.
