A Russian news editor has died after setting herself on fire in front of an interior ministry office in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod.

Irina Slavina earlier wrote on Facebook: “I ask you to blame the Russian Federation for my death.”

Authorities confirmed her body had been found with severe burns.

Slavina said on Thursday police had searched her flat looking for materials related to the pro-democracy group Open Russia. Computers and data were seized.

Footage has emerged apparently showing the moment she set herself on fire on a bench in Gorky Street, where the interior ministry in Nizhny Novgorod is situated.

In the video, a man is seen running to a woman to help extinguish the flames. She repeatedly pushes him back as he tries to use his coat to stop the fire, before she eventually falls to the ground.

Russia’s Investigative Committee confirmed that Irina Slavina, who leaves behind a husband and daughter, had died but denied any connection to a search of the journalist’s flat.

Imagine living in a country where a man will run up to you and try to put a fire out after you catch your own self on fire and attempting to transform that into a country where no one will do that – a country where bystanders won’t do anything even if you’re being hauled away by the cops for not wearing a mask.

Irina Slavina was editor-in-chief of the small Koza Press news website. Its motto is “news and analytics” and “no censorship”. Its website went down on Friday, as news of her death was confirmed.

She was one of seven people in Nizhny Novgorod whose homes were searched on Thursday, apparently as part of an inquiry into Open Russia.

Last year, she was fined for “disrespecting authorities” in one of her articles.

“This news was a real blow for me, I knew her,” said Natalia Gryaznevich, an aide to exiled Open Russia founder Mikhail Khodorkovsky. “I know she was harassed, detained, fined all the time. She was a very active woman,” she told BBC Moscow correspondent Sarah Rainsford.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, she said 12 people had forced their way into her family’s flat and seized flash drives, her laptop and her daughter’s laptop as well as phones belonging to both her and her husband.

Khodorkovsky is yet another Jew billionaire. He was imprisoned in Russia for looting the country after the fall of the USSR, but he was pardoned by Vladimir Putin after ten years. He fled to Germany and immediately started agitating for a second Bolshevik revolution, using other Jews, women, homosexuals, neo-Nazis and drug addicts to forward his Jewish agenda of subduing the last free, white nation.

As you might have guessed by the title, “Open Russia” is also funded by the Jew George Soros, who is a close ally of Khodorkovsky.

It just truly never ends with these people.

Dozens were detained at an unauthorized protest in Moscow after Aleksey Navalny called for the demonstration to be moved from its authorized location, citing obstructions to installng a sound system and stage. Hundreds turned up at the authorized site, with sound systems present.

About 4,500 people took part in an unauthorized protest on Tverskaya Street in the center of the Russian capital, Moscow police said in a statement. More than 150 people were taken to police stations for “breaching public order,” the statement added.

It came after one of the organizers, Aleksey Navalny, called for the demonstration to be moved from the authorized location on Sakharova Street to Tverskaya Street, through a message on his website just hours before the event. Navalny cited a lack of stage and audio systems as a reason for moving the location.

“Some contractors refuse [to provide equipment] straight away, others when they learn about the geolocation,” Navalny claimed, adding that equipment suppliers were allegedly being “pressured” not to work with him, regardless of the money he offered.

Navalny urged protesters to come to Tverskaya Street instead. Moscow authorities announced they were not contacted on the issue and assumed that it was a “new provocation” intended to deceive people into attending an unauthorized gathering. The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office warned Navalny that holding a demonstration on Tverskaya Street would violate the law and law enforcement would be compelled to take necessary measures.

Of course it was a provocation.

He’s talking about sound systems?

He specifically moved it so that people would get arrested.

That’s considered good optics. To play up this “waaaaaaahhhh, the evil Patriarchy of gay-basher Putin is oppressing meeeeeeee!!!”

It’s optics for the international stage, of course. Most Russians are turning on the TV and hoping to see cops beating the shit out of these people.

But seriously – protests in America require you to have a permit and stay in a certain place. This is not proof of “no democracy” as pieces of shit like Lindsey Graham will claim.

John McCain might also come out and talk about it, though he’ll say: “Mr. Putin pffff. Trying to uh, to protest and uhhh, there’s just a pffff. What the hell is it? You’re gonna have to help me out here. The Ukrainians protesting pffff. The Assad regime of the KGB, he’s pffff. He’s, he’s, he’s killing his own people with gas. And, you, you – you’ve got Putin, there’s pffff there’s gas. I just don’t see what the difference here is.”

Around 1,800 people, according to police estimates, showed up at the original location on Sakharova Street, and the demonstration concluded without any major incidents, according to Moscow police.

It can be seen in a video that a stage equipped with audio systems was functioning on Sakharova Street, and was used by people protesting a massive Moscow redevelopment project.

Navalny himself was not able to show up at any of the events, as he was detained by police before the beginning of the protest. According to his lawyer, Vadim Kobzev, Navalny’s administrative case involves repeated violation of rules for organizing or carrying out a public rally.

Yeah and the thing is – you are allowed to protest in Russia.

Putin’s approval rating is so high after taking back Crimea and continuing to stand up against the West, he is going to be supported by the people for the rest of his life and after.

He has no reason to ban protests.

So Navalny has to do illegal shit to purposefully get arrested so he can claim oppression. This is a very standard Jewish method used throughout the 1960s in America.

Moscow is a city of close to 20 million people, and this guy can only get a couple thousand at his rallies. At he had to combine this political rally with a legitimate rally against a widely unpopular real estate project in order to get the numbers he got.

A number of opposition protesters, following Navalny’s call, gatecrashed the celebrations on Tverskaya Street, including ‘The Times and Epochs’ historical festival. The festival has been running at multiple locations in Moscow since June 1, with over 6,000 reenactors participating, including history enthusiasts from the UK, US, Italy, Sweden, France, Ireland and other countries.

Police contained the unauthorized protest and urged them to go back to nearby Pushkinskaya Square in an orderly fashion. Over 150 people were detained in Moscow during the unauthorized protest, the police said.

While 4,500 people came to Tverskaya Street to participate in the unauthorized protest, over 270,000 people visited the central Moscow street to take part in the Russia Day festivities, according to police estimates. Russia Day is the national holiday commemorating the 1990 declaration of sovereignty. Some 3.8 million people have participated in around 3,000 events across the country, police reported.

A few days ago, the Jewish terrorist Mikhail Khodorkovsky announced that he was planning on staging a Bolshevik-style revolution against the Great Leader Czar Putin I.

Russia’s top investigative agency on Friday accused exiled tycoon and former prisoner Mikhail Khodorkovsky of involvement in the 1998 killing of a Siberian mayor, accusations he has dismissed as sham.

The accusations come two days after Khodorkovsky said that President Vladimir Putin has driven Russia into a position when a revolution is “inevitable and necessary” and that that he will help to bring it about.

The Investigative Committee said Friday its probe has revealed that Khodorkovsky was involved in the slaying of Vladimir Petukhov, the mayor of Nefteyugansk, the town where Khodorkovsky’s oil company, Yukos, was headquartered at the time.

The committee also accused Khodorkovsky of involvement in the attempted killing of businessman Yevgeny Rybin in 1999. Rybin survived the assassination attempt, but his bodyguard was killed.

The authorities in the past said they suspected Khodorkovsky of involvement in those cases, but they have failed to produce any proof.

Khodorkovsky has repeatedly denied the accusations.

Speaking Wednesday in London, Khodorkovsky accused the Kremlin of conducting an “anti-constitutional coup” by pursuing a suicidal foreign policy, introducing unlawful laws and prosecuting citizens in corrupt courts.

As Putin has well over 90% support, he is hands-down the most popular leader in the world (save perhaps Kim Jong-Un, but that isn’t really a fair comparison). As such, any attempt at Jew revolution would necessarily have to be against the will of the vast majority of the people.

Given the current ability to distribute information widely, rallying up the peasantry in the manner that the Jew Lenin did would be very difficult. More likely, they would plan on using the Ukraine Maiden model, which involved paying terrorists to attack the government.

The Jew George Soros had been involved with funding the Jewish revolution in the Ukraine, and his organizations have recently been kicked out of Russia. Following banning his groups, the Russian government banned more American NGOs which could be used to foment Jewish terrorist revolution in Russia.

Really though, it is going to be very difficult under any circumstances to destroy Russia through internal revolution. Russia is just being thorough when it addresses this threat.

After receiving a pardon from President Vladimir Putin on Friday, the former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky is in Germany, where he’s expected to meet with his mother.

For now, he’s not saying much in public, beyond a statement thanking supporters, but his sudden release has raised a storm of speculation in Russia.

Within hours of the announcement that President Putin had granted the pardon, Khodorkovsky was on a private jet that whisked him to Berlin.

Khodorkovsky was once the head of the giant Yukos oil company, the richest man in Russia, and the most powerful rival to Vladimir Putin.

As Putin was consolidating his power, Khodorkovsky was giving money to opposition political groups, and talking about a different vision for Russia than Putin’s model of “managed democracy.”

“My position is rather simple: I think that we need a civil society so the country can develop normally,” he said in 2002, as he was mounting what had begun to look like a challenge to Putin’s re-election as president. “Many things grow from civil society: independent courts, responsible government, and a normal parliament.”

Khodorkovsky was arrested in 2003 and charged with fraud. His business was broken up and sold, mostly to state-owned companies.

In 2010, when his sentence was nearing completion, he and his business partner were tried on new charges, and their sentences were extended until August of next year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Friday pardoning one of his best known opponents, former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky, after a decade in jail.

Putin announced unexpectedly on Thursday that he would pardon Khodorkovsky, who was once Russia’s richest man and is seen by Kremlin critics as a political prisoner.

Regional prison authorities said they could not confirm a report by Interfax news agency that he had already been released from a prison colony near the Arctic Circle.

Putin, who appears to be responding to criticism of his human rights record before Russia hosts the Winter Olympics in Sochi, said in the decree that the decision to pardon Khodorkovsky was “guided by the principles of humanity.”

The decree, released by the Kremlin press service, took immediate effect.

Khodorkovsky’s lead lawyer, Vadim Klyuvgant, told Reuters the decree “should be enforced immediately” but said it was unclear whether the former Yukos oil company chief could be freed as early as Friday.
