“I will be signing an Executive Order next week ending the ridiculous Biden push for Paper Straws, which don’t work. BACK TO PLASTIC!” –President Donald J. Trump pic.twitter.com/VUua4pVSwT

— The White House (@WhiteHouse) February 7, 2025

This might be his most important EO of all.

RT:

US President Donald Trump has promised to sign an executive order against paper straws next week. The move would reverse former President Joe Biden’s plan to phase out single-use plastic products in government buildings by 2027.

Trump made the announcement on Friday on his social media platform, Truth Social.

“I will be signing an Executive Order next week ending the ridiculous Biden push for Paper Straws, which don’t work. BACK TO PLASTIC!”

…

In 2019, Trump’s campaign sold red, reusable plastic straws branded with his name. The product’s description stated: “Liberal paper straws don’t work. STAND WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP and buy your pack of recyclable straws today.” The straws were sold in packs of 10 for $15, and the initiative reportedly raised nearly $500,000.

I’m the number one anti-plastic guy, but I am also, frankly, an anti-straw guy. I don’t use straws and I think it’s gay.

But you know, occasionally, I get some kind of juice drink at the hippie cafe, and you really have to drink those with a straw, and these people straws are intolerable.

What’s more, these paper straws are filled with much worse toxins than the plastic ones, and those toxins are much more likely to enter your body, because of the way paper straws dissolve in your mouth.

This isn’t some secret. Paper straws contain huge amounts of PFAS, that go into your drink and into your body.

The hippie places I go to use stainless steel straws now, because anyone who isn’t some braindead global warming zombie is aware of the threat of so-called “paper straws.” And again, I don’t use them often.

But this whole “lets get rid of plastic straws to solve the plastic problem” was always the gayest and most retarded idea. People are now drinking from plastic bottles with paper straws. How much more plastic is in the bottle than in the straw? 50 times?

Why not ban the plastic bottles? Up through the 1980s, water and other beverages came in glass bottles, the way beer and expensive water still does. Why not start with getting rid of the plastic bottle? Why not get rid of the plastic lining in coffee cups (which used to be wax) and now prevents any health conscious person from taking takeout coffee (unless they buy one of those $40 Starbucks reusable stainless steel mugs, and then remember to carry it around)? The reason is that they don’t actually care, and paper straws are just some weird humiliation ritual.

Get them out.

People Have Huge Buildups of Plastic in Their Brains https://www.anglinarchive.com/2025/02/04/people-have-huge-buildups-of-plastic-in-their-brains/ Tue, 04 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000

The human brain:
—had 7-30 times more accumulation of microparticles (MPs) than the liver or kidney (organs with previously documented high propensity)
—from people with dementia had 5X accumulation of MPs compared with non-dementia
—there was a marked increase of accumulation…

— Eric Topol (@EricTopol) February 3, 2025

Microplastics actually should work their way through your body pretty quickly, in theory.

But for one, the brain can buildup toxins and hold them for much longer than the rest of your organs, and further, people are consuming so much microplastic that they just constantly have it in their bodies.

To be clear, this completely changes the chemical makeup of your body, it affects all of your systems, and in particular, affects your hormonal system, making you fat and gay.

The Guardian:

The exponential rise in microplastic pollution over the past 50 years may be reflected in increasing contamination in human brains, according to a new study.

It found a rising trend in micro- and nanoplastics in brain tissue from dozens of postmortems carried out between 1997 and 2024. The researchers also found the tiny particles in liver and kidney samples.

The human body is widely contaminated by microplastics. They have also been found in blood, semen, breast milk, placentas and bone marrow. The impact on human health is largely unknown, but they have been linked to strokes and heart attacks.

The scientists also found that the concentration of microplastics was about six times higher in brain samples from people who had dementia. However, the damage dementia causes in the brain would be expected to increase concentrations, the researchers said, meaning no causal link should be assumed.

…

The new research, published in the journal Nature Medicine, analysed samples of brain, liver and kidney tissues from 28 people who died in 2016 and 24 who died in 2024 in New Mexico. Microplastic concentration was much higher in the brain tissue. It was also higher in brain and liver samples from 2024, compared with those from 2016.

The scientists extended the analysis with brain tissue samples from people who had died between 1997 and 2013 on the US east coast. The data showed an increasing trend in microplastic contamination of brains from 1997 to 2024.

The most common plastic found was polyethylene, which is used in plastic bags and food and drink packaging. It made up 75% of the total plastic on average. The particles in the brain were mostly nanoscale shards and flakes of plastic. The plastic concentrations in the organs were not influenced by the age of the person at death, or the cause of death, their sex or their ethnicity.

This is a legitimate crisis, which should be treated as a crisis.

But instead, we get endless bullshit about viruses and global warming. There is no attempt to address the plastic issue, because the large corporations that fund the government, and which government employees are invested in, could not make any money off of addressing the plastic problem.

Study: Plastics in Babies’ Bodies Linked to the Leading Cause of Infant Death https://www.anglinarchive.com/2025/01/31/study-plastics-in-babies-bodies-linked-to-the-leading-cause-of-infant-death/ Fri, 31 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000

Oh, but let’s just keep talking about how cow farts change the weather.

Never mind everyone being killed by plastics. There is no money in regulating plastic pollution.

The Guardian:

A study has found microplastic and nanoplastic pollution to be significantly higher in placentas from premature births than in those from full-term births.

The levels were much higher than previously detected in blood, suggesting the tiny plastic particles were accumulating in the placenta. But the higher average levels found in the shorter pregnancies were a “big surprise” for the researchers, as longer terms could be expected to lead to more accumulation.

Preterm birth is the leading cause of infant death worldwide, and the reasons for about two-thirds of all preterm births were unknown, said Dr Enrico Barrozo, of Baylor College of Medicine in Texas, US. The established link between air pollution and millions of premature births had spurred the research team to investigate plastic pollution.

The new study only demonstrates an association between microplastics and premature births. Further research is needed in cell cultures and animal models to determine if the link is causal. Microplastics are known to cause inflammation in human cells, and inflammation is one of the factors that prompts the start of labour.

Microplastics, broken down from plastic waste, have polluted the entire planet from the summit of Mount Everest to the deepest oceans. People are already known to consume the tiny particles via food, water and by breathing them in.

Microplastics were first detected in placentas in 2020 and have also been found in semen, breast milk, brains, livers and bone marrow, indicating profuse contamination of people’s bodies. The impact on human health is little known, but microplastics have been linked to strokes and heart attacks.

There should be a massive program to deal with plastic pollution, but there isn’t because America doesn’t care about killing people or otherwise poisoning them.

All resources of “environmentalism” have been redirected into the idiotic “manmade global warming” hoax, to the point where no one even talks about plastics. The only way you can get plastics into the discussion is if you claim plastics are causing global warming.

Everyone is going to be turned into a repulsive mutant as a result of plastic pollution, and the US government thinks it’s funny.

Environmental Groups Sue FDA Over Highly Toxic Plastic Food Packaging https://www.anglinarchive.com/2025/01/09/environmental-groups-sue-fda-over-highly-toxic-plastic-food-packaging/ Thu, 09 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000

The government cares a lot about your health.

If they didn’t, they wouldn’t force you to take vaccines to prevent the most deadly flu ever, would they?

The Guardian:

A coalition of environmental groups has sued the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the use of highly toxic phthalates in plastic food packaging because the chemicals have been found to leach at alarming rates and present a serious health risk, especially for developing children.

The suit is the latest salvo in an ongoing eight-year battle in which advocates have pressured the FDA to ban the chemicals’ use in food packaging, but the agency has sided with industry that opposes the calls. Since 2016, the FDA has either illegally ignored petitions or rejected demands to revoke a 40-year-old authorization for the chemicals that is based on long-outdated science.

The health groups in a statement called the FDA’s refusal to restrict the chemicals “unconscionable”.

“The FDA is knowingly putting millions of people in the US at risk of life-altering health problems by continuing to greenlight uses of phthalates that contaminate our food,” said Katherine O’Brien, an attorney with Earthjustice, one of the suit’s lead plaintiffs. “FDA’s decision defies decades of science and the agency’s core purpose of keeping the food supply safe.”

The FDA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Phthalates are a class of nearly 30 chemicals used as plasticizers in plastic containers, kitchen utensils and food preparation materials, among other uses. Researchers have found them in most food samples tested in recent years, and very low levels of exposure are linked to birth defects and pre-term birth. They are thought to cause developmental harms for fetuses and children, especially the reproductive system and brain – kids who have been exposed risk reduced IQ, and boys risk genital defects and infertility.

Phthalates are also particularly dangerous because they have been found to mimic the human body’s hormones.

Wait for the media to have a meltdown about how phthalates are actually healthy when RFK tries to ban them.

Environmental Groups Ask EPA to Create System to Monitor Plastic in Water https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/12/02/environmental-groups-ask-epa-to-create-system-to-monitor-plastic-in-water/ Mon, 02 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Notice that this is again The Guardian, not the NY Times or the WaPo.

American media will not report on plastics or PFAS or any of the other pollutants in our environment, going into our bodies. Yet they have special verticals with daily articles about “climate change.”

The Guardian:

A new legal petition filed by more than 170 top environmental groups demands that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) begin monitoring for microplastics in drinking water, an essential first step to reining in pollution viewed as one of the nation’s most pressing public health threats.

The scale of microplastic water pollution, the extent to which the substance is lodged throughout human bodies, and the many health implications have come into sharp focus in recent years, but the EPA still has not taken meaningful action, public health advocates say.

The petition pushes the agency to begin monitoring microplastics as an emerging contaminant under the Safe Drinking Water Act in 2026.

…

Microplastics have been found to cross the brain and placental barriers, and those who have them in their heart tissue are twice as likely to have a heart attack or stroke during the next several years.

Independent testing has found them in virtually all drinking water samples tested, and other research estimated the average person ingests about 4,000 particles in drinking water annually.

California last year became the first state to start monitoring for the substance.

Last year, in a rare New York Times article about plastic pollution, they put the article in the global warming section and said that the problem with plastic is that it’s helping global warming.

Everything is global warming and they’re telling you that when you hear people talking about plastic, they’re actually talking about global warming. I’m the number one anti-plastic activist, and I do not believe in global warming. I think it is a complete hoax created by mind-warper Jewish globalists.

If I’m wrong about plastic, you can show me how. This plastic is in our bodies, changing them. The weather 30 years from now, if that were to be a real problem, would not compare to this problem.

The issue is: there is no “solution” for democracy politicians to invest in to stop plastic. They are all heavily invested in “green” warmer technologies, all of which involve creating poisonous chemicals that end up being dumped into your water supply. Windmills and solar panels require “rare earth minerals” and it is impossible to properly dispose of all of these machines they are building. The whole thing is just a massive money scam, and a Jewish globalist project to force global integration. It is not real at all, and the fact that they won’t use nuclear proves it’s not real.

Shock as Five Companies Removing Plastic From Environment Also Producing 1,000 Times More https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/11/23/shock-as-five-companies-removing-plastic-from-environment-also-producing-1000-times-more/ Sat, 23 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Environmentalism is a gigantic for-profit industry and everything these people do is a hoax.

The US government is so sickeningly corrupt that anyone with money can just pay the government and then do whatever they want.

The Guardian:

Oil and chemical companies who created a high-profile alliance to end plastic pollution have produced 1,000 times more new plastic in five years than the waste they diverted from the environment, according to new data obtained by Greenpeace.

The Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) was set up in 2019 by a group of companies which include ExxonMobil, Dow, Shell, TotalEnergies and ChevronPhillips, some of the world’s biggest producers of plastic. They promised to divert 15m tonnes of plastic waste from the environment in five years to the end of 2023, by improving collection and recycling, and creating a circular economy.

Documents from a PR company that were obtained by Greenpeace’s Unearthed team and shared with the Guardian, suggest a key aim of the AEPW was to “change the conversation” away from “simplistic bans of plastic” that were being proposed in 2019 amid an outcry over the scale of plastic pollution leaching into rivers and harming public health.

Early last year the alliance target of clearing 15m tonnes of waste plastic was quietly scrapped as “just too ambitious”.

The new analysis by energy consultants Wood Mackenzie looked at the plastics output of the five alliance companies; chemical company Dow, which holds the AEPW’s chairmanship, the oil companies ExxonMobil, Shell and TotalEnergies, and ChevronPhillips, a joint venture of the US oil giants Chevron and Phillips 66.

The data reveals the five companies alone produced 132m tonnes of two types of plastic; polyethylene (PE) and PP (polypropylene) in five years – more than 1,000 times the weight of the 118,500 tonnes of waste plastic the alliance has removed from the environment in the same period. The waste plastic was diverted mostly by mechanical or chemical recycling, the use of landfill, or waste to fuel, AEPW documents state.

The amount of plastic produced is likely to be an underestimate as it only covers two of the most widely used polymers; polyethylene which is used for plastic bottles and bags, and polypropylene, used for food packaging. It does not include other major plastics such as polystyrene.

The new data was revealed as delegates prepared to meet in Busan, South Korea, to hammer out the world’s first treaty to cut plastic pollution. The treaty has a mandate to agree on a legally binding global agreement to tackle plastic pollution across the entire plastics life cycle.

But the talks, which have been subject to heavy lobbying by the alliance and fossil fuel companies, are on a knife-edge in a row over whether caps to global plastic production will be included in the final treaty.

Will McCallum, a co-executive director at Greenpeace UK, said the revelations had stripped off the thin layer of greenwash hiding the growing mountain of plastic waste oil companies were producing.

“The recycling schemes they’re promoting can barely make a dent in all the plastic these companies are pumping out,” he said. “They’re letting the running tap flood the house while trying to scoop up the water with a teaspoon. The only solution is to cut the amount of plastic produced in the first place.”

No one is going to stop plastic.

The government/media will just continue babbling on about global warming, which is a hoax, while dumping plastic, pesticide, PFAS, and every other poison into our water and food supply.

The only solution to the American problem is fire.

95 Million Americans Could be Drinking Water Contaminated With Toxic Chemicals, Study Finds https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/11/14/95-million-americans-could-be-drinking-water-contaminated-with-toxic-chemicals-study-finds/ Thu, 14 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0000

This doesn’t get reported in the US media.

But the British will report it.

The Guardian:

PFAS may be contaminating drinking water for up to 70% of about 140 million people in the US who draw water from the nation’s aquifers via private or public wells, a new federal government study estimates. The findings show a potential impact on about 95 million people, or 27% of the nation’s population.

The US Geological Survey sampling and modeling of groundwater contamination found readings up to 37,000 times higher than the EPA’s new drinking water limits. In some regions virtually all of those using public systems that draw from groundwater may be drinking contaminated water.

This is especially a problem for those who draw from private wells, or small public wells, because neither is covered by strong new PFAS limits implemented by the Environmental Protection Agency – those people represent about 13% of the US population.

“This study’s findings indicate widespread PFAS contamination in groundwater that is used for public and private drinking water supplies in the US,” said Andrea Tokranov, a USGS hydrologist and the study’s lead author, said in a statement.

…

The highest levels of exposure to potentially contaminated water in private wells were found in Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio.

Meanwhile, California and Florida show the highest population levels potentially exposed to PFAS in water drawn from public wells. Up to 98% and 87% of populations in Massachusetts and Connecticut, respectively, who draw from public wells may have contaminated water.

The research found the usual suspects were behind the most polluted areas – military bases, airports, chemical production centers, plating facilities, plastic production and other industries.

The government will continue to talking about global warming as you drink chemical poison that destroys every system in your body.

That’s democracy for you. You can’t complain about it. In a democracy, there is no way to petition grievances.

You just have to drink the poison and believe in global warming. No other options.

🏭 Plastic production doesn’t just harm our environment—it’s harming our health.

— Pew Environment (@pewenvironment) November 7, 2024

Global warming is fake, but if they are going to do something about plastic as a way to stop global warming, I support it.

Of course, they won’t do that. The global warming movement has nothing to do with the environment, it’s just a globalist scam.

The Guardian:

Plastic pollution is changing the processes of the entire Earth system, exacerbating climate change, biodiversity loss, ocean acidification, and the use of freshwater and land, according to scientific analysis.

Plastic must not be treated as a waste problem alone, the authors said, but as a product that poses harm to ecosystems and human health.

The authors gave their warning in the days before final talks begin in South Korea to agree a legally binding global treaty to cut plastic pollution. Progress towards a treaty on plastic pollution has been hindered by a row over the need to include cuts to the $712bn plastic production industry in the treaty. At the last talks in April, developed countries were accused of bowing to pressure from fossil fuel and industry lobbyists to steer clear of any reductions in production. The discussions in South Korea, which start on 25 November, mark a rare opportunity for countries to come to an agreement to tackle the global crisis of plastic pollution.

In 2022 at least 506m tonnes of plastics were produced worldwide, but only 9% gets recycled globally.

You can’t recycle plastic. That’s another big scam.

If they wanted to get rid of the plastic, they would have to burn it. But of course, they won’t promote that because of global warming, haha.

The rest is burned, landfilled or dumped where it can leach into the environment. Microplastics are now everywhere, from the top of Mount Everest to the Mariana Trench, the deepest point on earth.

Vultures flying over plastic waste on a beach in Panama.

“It’s necessary to consider the full life cycle of plastics, starting from the extraction of fossil fuel and the primary plastic polymer production” said the article’s lead author, Patricia Villarrubia-Gómez, at Stockholm Resilience Centre.

…

“Plastics are seen as those inert products that protect our favourite products, or that make our lives easier that can be “easily cleaned-up” once they become waste,” Villarrubia-Gómez said. “But this is far from reality. Plastics are made out of the combination of thousands of chemicals. Many of them, such as endocrine disruptors and forever chemicals, pose toxicity and harm to ecosystems and human health. We should see plastics as the combination of these chemicals with which we interact on a daily basis.”

So true.

But you won’t ever see it in the American media. The Americans have entire vertical columns devoted to “climate,” but they won’t mention plastic, just like they won’t mention that “green energy” contains rare earth minerals, that these windmills and solar panels cannot be disposed of.

Plastic should be considered the top global threat, but the entire environmentalist movement is now about global warming. It’s not “environmentalism” anymore because all of the proposed “solutions” to carbon dioxide dump toxins in the environment and into human bodies.

Lego to Replace “Fossil Fuel Materials” With Much More Toxic “Renewable and Recycled” Plastic https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/08/31/lego-to-replace-fossil-fuel-materials-with-much-more-toxic-renewable-and-recycled-plastic/ Sat, 31 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000

Related:

You can’t actually “recycle” plastic.

It doesn’t just like, melt down and get poured in a new mold or something.

It’s a total fraud. After people saying this for decades and those stupid recycling bins being put everywhere still, the mainstream media finally admitted the whole thing was a scam earlier this year.

This is a highly toxic process which adds a whole bunch of new toxins to the plastic, makes it much less stable, allowing it to leech even more into the environment.

Children put these toys in their mouths, by the way. Just so you understand.

Reuters:

Toymaker Lego said on Wednesday it was on track to replace the fossil fuels used in making its signature bricks with more expensive renewable and recycled plastic by 2032 after signing deals with producers to secure long-term supply.

Lego, which sells billions of plastic bricks annually, has tested over 600 different materials to develop a new material that would completely replace its oil-based brick by 2030, but with limited success.

Now, Lego is aiming to gradually bring down the oil content in its bricks by paying up to 70% more for certified renewable resin, the raw plastic used to manufacture the bricks, in an attempt to encourage manufacturers to boost production.

“This means a significant increase in the cost of producing a Lego brick,” CEO Niels Christiansen told Reuters.

…

“With a family-owner committed to sustainability, it’s a privilege that we can pay extra for the raw materials without having to charge customers extra,” Christiansen said.

…

Lego’s suppliers are using bio-waste such as cooking oil or food industry waste fat as well as recycled materials to replace virgin fossil fuels in plastic production.

I think this is mostly just a scam for Lego to charge even more.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Lego knock-offs are actually much better quality and have some much funner models.

I don’t know why people don’t use those instead.

California City Replacing Toxic Disposable Plastic Cups with Toxic Reusable Plastic Cups, Helping No One https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/08/24/california-city-replacing-toxic-disposable-plastic-cups-with-toxic-reusable-plastic-cups-helping-no-one/ Sat, 24 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000

What is the point of replacing a plastic cup with a plastic cup? It’s nonsense.

People are going to drink hot coffee out of this cup?

That is lunacy. You’re just sipping xenoestrogens. This is the cause of the gay epidemic and breast cancer and obesity.

The throwaway cups are only an environmental problem because they refuse to burn them. If they burned the cups, it would be the same as these reusables: the issue would be a personal health problem, not an environmental, ecological, and global health problem.

Cecilia Nowell writes for The Guardian:

A line of purple, plastic cups grows longer on the counter at Avid Coffee as Sam Gearhard takes orders at the Petaluma, California, store on a recent weekday morning.

The cups might seem unassuming, but they’re part of a groundbreaking new scheme that has the community buzzing. Instead of the single-use paper or plastic cups that Gearhard would usually line up for the barista slinging espresso, he’s passing over shiny new reusable cups that bear the slogan “Sip, Return, Repeat”. Customers who need their lattes to go can take the purple cups with them, then return them to one of 60 bins scattered across downtown Petaluma when they’ve finished. Each cup comes with a trackable QR code to help monitor results.

So far, Gearhard says, 30 businesses have opted into the program in downtown Petaluma, a charming wine country city about 50 miles (80km) north of San Francisco. And at Avid, they’ve handed out only reusables since the project started – except to the occasional out-of-towner who asks for a paper cup to take on the road. “It’s been a really nice and easy adjustment for us,” said Gearhard. “I was worried that people wouldn’t take to it as well as they have.”

Holding a cup of coffee as we talk, I’m impressed that the espresso doesn’t burn my hand through the plastic wall. And while their purple hue is very purple, I appreciate that cups are immaculate – clearly more professionally sanitized than similar cups I’ve encountered in food courts and cafeterias. The shops aren’t having to clean the cups themselves – they’re washed by an outside logistics company – meaning there’s one less thing for businesses to factor in as they make the switch.

This month, Petaluma became the first in the US to introduce a city-wide reusable cup program, aimed at reducing the 50bn single-use cups that are bought and thrown away in the US each year. Thirty businesses, ranging from mom and pop shops like Avid to chains like Starbucks and Taco Bell, have agreed to distribute the reusable cups as part of a pilot project.

The initiative comes as California leads the US in the fight to phase out single-use plastics. The states passed a law in 2022 that will require all packaging to be recyclable or compostable by 2032. Last year, Los Angeles county implemented a ban on single-use plastics in restaurants, and earlier this year, the city of Berkeley rolled out the country’s most comprehensive law on food packaging.

…

In Petaluma, the reusable cup project is slated to run through November. What comes next depends on how it goes – and how it might be implemented and funded by future cities or businesses.

You should not use these cups. It’s not good. Not good at all.

It’s the same thing as a disposable cup. You can’t put hot liquid in plastic. It is totally insane. You might as well just melt plastic and drink it.

It doesn’t matter if it is reusable.

Maybe it matters a little bit. Maybe if you’ve used the cup 1,000 times, it would shed less plastic. But plastic is so porous, I don’t know. I don’t know.

Why do they not just use stainless steel for this project? They’re acting like it’s a big expensive project. Steel is not that expensive. Starbucks sells nice steel cups that will last forever.

The government has to pay for the Ozempic and the tranny drugs. It would be much cheaper to prevent people from becoming fat and gay.
