Michigan state Rep. Josh Schriver (R) rebuked gay marriage in a Monday social media post that has drawn backlash from some of the state’s top Democrats.

“Make gay marriage illegal again,” Schriver wrote on the social platform X. “This is not remotely controversial, nor extreme.”

The elected official, who self-identifies as a Christian in his X bio, has been adamantly opposed to same-sex marriage for years.

“A fellow representative is saying my marriage to the man I love should be illegal. This is definitely both controversial and extreme, along with anti-family,” state Rep. Jason Morgan (D) said in response, quoting Schriver’s original post.

“I grew up believing I’d never be able to get married and I’m not going back,” Morgan added.

Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel, who identifies as gay, also condemned Schriver’s post, claiming he was “not interested in helping Michiganders.”

“Please explain how dissolving my marriage, or that of the hundreds of thousands of other same-sex couples living in America, provides a benefit to your constituents or anyone else,” Nessel fired back in a post.

“You’re not interested in helping Michiganders,” she said. “You want only to hurt those you hate. Shame on you.”

Schriver has defended his stance since the Supreme Court made gay marriage legal in 2015.

“Jesus defines marriage as between a man and a woman,” Schriver told the Detroit News after the ruling.

This November, Schriver was reelected to the state Legislature and earned 68 percent of the vote in his district, which makes up part of Macomb and Oakland counties.

Earlier this year, Michigan House Speaker Joe Tate (D) stripped Schriver of his office staff and budget and committee assignment for promoting a racist conspiracy theory, according to the Detroit News.

This guy is young. I don’t know how old he is because his Wikipedia page doesn’t say (it’s a very unprofessionally written page, and he should have staff rewrite it), but he’s like 40.

Along with trying to abolish anal marriage, he’s also said that trannies should be illegal. He said if you’re stopping it for people under 18, why would it be legal for people over 18. It’s a good question and it gets at the truth. We have to END FAGGOTS.

A beloved music director at a Michigan catholic church was fired after an unknown source informed church officials of his same-sex marriage — sparking outrage from parishioners, with many protesting and some renouncing their membership over the termination.

Fred Szczepanski was canned from his position at St. Francis Church in Traverse City on Oct. 18 after the church officials discovered he had a same-sex marriage ceremony to his longtime partner in Nevada in 2020, according to Traverse City Record-Eagle.

Szczepanski, known by churchgoers as “Mr. Fred,” was confronted by Rev. Michael Lingaur after church leaders received a letter from an unnamed individual about his marriage.

When confronted, he confirmed the marriage and was informed by Lingaur that his services were no longer needed after serving as the church’s music director for 34 years. Szczepanski was also told he could no longer take communion during worship services.

But he wasn’t kicked out of church.

This is the normal course of action and has always been the course of action.

Following his termination, the Diocese of Gaylord, Michigan, wrote in a statement that Szczepanski’s marriage violates the ministerial agreement condition of his employment.

“A public act of same-sex marriage is a formal recognition that a relationship is more than friendship, and thereby jeopardizes a ministerial agreement for employment,” the Diocese said.

“Marriage is a permanent, faithful and exclusive covenant between one man and one woman.”

However, the firing outraged parishioners, leading to multiple shows of protest in support of Szczepanski.

The longtime music director’s husband, Bill Thompson, has set up a GoFundMe to help cover the costs of insurance, legal fees, and bills.

The Traverse City Record-Eagle reported that Szczepanski declined to comment on whether he planned to file a wrongful termination lawsuit.

The Vatican has ben agitating to try to turn the Church totally queer for years now, the Vatican has approved a form of pseudo gay marriage, and most parishes clearly do not want it.

The elections are not real. The government has the ability to turn on election fraud if they want, using the virus-born mail-in ballot system, which allows, in key states including Michigan, for an unlimited number of ballots to be printed and shipped anywhere.

Obviously, however, if the people in charge of the fraud support the candidate that is going to get the most votes, as was the case in this week’s election, they don’t need to rig it.

Anger over Vice President Kamala Harris’s stance on the war in Gaza likely spelled the end of her presidential hopes in Michigan.

The battleground state holds the highest concentration of Arab Americans in the country, many of whom expressed profound disillusionment with the Biden-Harris administration’s policy on the Middle Eastern conflict. Riding off their wave of fury against Harris’s refusal to commit to significant policy changes on the war in Gaza, President-elect Donald Trump found historic levels of support in Dearborn and other majority-Muslim areas across the state.

That support played a critical role in propelling Trump to victory in a state he lost by about 155,000 votes four years ago. Trump won Dearborn with 42% support during the 2024 presidential election, a significant increase from the 30% he garnered in 2020.

Harris carried only 36% of the vote, down from President Joe Biden’s 69% in 2020.

Trump also carried the neighboring Dearborn Heights, where 39% of the residents hail from the Middle East. The Dearborn area is the birthplace of the pro-Palestinian anti-war “Uncommitted” movement, which prominently caught the country’s attention during Michigan’s February Democratic primary. Voters cast over 100,000 protest “uncommitted” ballots against Biden at the time, escalating tensions between Democratic leadership and far-left factions of the party.

Trump’s gains over his 2020 performance with Arab Americans were the highest in the majority-Muslim city of Hamtramck. The former president received 42.7% of the vote with all ballots counted following the Nov. 5 election, which marked a staggering increase from the 13.4% he received in 2020.

The news comes as an apparent confirmation that Trump’s message of “peace” and “no new wars” has resonated with key leaders in Michigan’s pro-Palestinian community, many of whom have relatives who have been killed or are living in the Middle Eastern region that has been fraught with violence.

Elon Musk’s PAC was sending Kamala’s own pro-Israel ads to Moslems and her pro-Palestine ads to Jews.

Middle school girls who attend Hart Middle School in Rochester Community Schools are “seeing something” and “saying something” about a boy who is using their bathrooms. Now, they expect the school board to “do something.”

The school board heard from several concerned students and parents on Monday night regarding a boy who is allowed to use the girls bathroom at school.

One student spoke and said, “We have a biological boy using our bathroom and staff blocking off our bathroom [and] restricting girls from entering as this biological boy uses our bathroom.” She went on to say, “Encountering a boy in the bathroom makes me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. No girl should ever be uncomfortable because there’s a boy in the bathroom alongside of them.”

She pleaded with the board. “We need a solution that ensures the privacy and safety of all students.”

It is crucial to take action to ensure sure all girls feel safe and comfortable in spaces designated for them.”

One mom, who has sent her children to Rochester Community Schools for the past 27 years, teared up when she recalled a district that used to “provide the best education for our children.”

“The issue needs to be addressed on the district level,” she said after indicating the school principal had treated her concerns with respect. She continued, “I find it shameful that adults are attempting to bully these 13 year old girls into silence and submission by accusing them of not being truthful and not taking their feelings into consideration.”

Of course, the trannies should be stopped.

And yes, I get that these particular women are teenagers and were not supporting anything for decades. The mayor of the first US city to have an all-Muslim city council has endorsed former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

Amer Ghalib, the mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan, announced his endorsement in a Facebook post Sunday, just days after meeting the Republican candidate in person.

“I believe he is the right choice for this critical time,” Ghalib said of Trump, calling him “a man of principles.”

“I’ll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I’m ready to face the consequences,” Ghalib wrote.

Trump later reposted Ghalib’s remarks on Truth Social.

The 45-year-old mayor met with Trump for 20 minutes on Tuesday in Flint, Michigan, where the former president asked the mayor for his endorsement, Ghalib told the Detroit News.

“[Trump] knew a lot about me before the meeting,” he said

“We talked about various topics including the debates, the polls updates, the statistics of votes in Michigan and Wayne County, the Arab American concerns and the Yemeni Americans in particular,” Ghalib continued.

Ghalib, an immigrant from Yemen, was elected as the first Muslim mayor of Hamtramck in 2021.

Alongside other Muslim city council candidates, Hamtramck became the first city in the country with a Muslim-majority city council in 2015.

When Ghalib came into office, voters elected an all-Muslim city council in the roughly 2-square-mile city of 28,000 residents, according to the Detroit Free Press.

If he’s Yemeni, this is even more hardcore. Trump was very supportive of sending unlimited (infinity) weapons to the Saudis to kill starving Yemeni children. That situation was fixed by China, who went in and did a peace negotiation between Saudi and Iran. Biden was going to maintain the war indefinitely as well, of course.

It would be an interesting election if voting was real. Unfortunately, voting is not real. Jews just choose a candidate through their mail-in ballot scam system.

A Michigan man suspected of using an all-terrain vehicle to run over an elderly man for supporting Donald Trump died by suicide as police closed in on him, according to authorities.

Police in Hancock – a city located in the state’s upper peninsula – said the man in question was under investigation for allegedly running over an 80-year-old man at about 5.45pm local time on Sunday.

The elderly man was described as a supporter of the former president who was posting a political sign in his yard, according to police. Police also said he displayed stickers and flags that were supportive of law enforcement. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition with serious injuries after the man on the ATV struck him, authorities said.

Investigators said they had identified a suspect in the case by Monday evening, and he had been linked to a total of three cases which were apparently “politically motivated”.

That man later contacted officers, told them he wanted to “confess a crime involving an ATV driver within the last 24 hours” and asked to be picked up, police said in a statement. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 22-year-old man dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The events in Hancock came a little more than a week after Trump survived an assassination attempt at a presidential campaign rally in Butler county, Pennsylvania, on 13 July. The gunman at the rally fatally shot a 50-year-old Trump supporter, former fire chief Corey Comperatore, while the former president was wounded on one of his ears.

It’s a concerning development.

Some dairy farmers are resisting Michigan’s nation-leading efforts to stop the spread of bird flu for fear their incomes will suffer from added costs and hurt rural America.

The government’s restrictions, which include tracking who comes and goes from farms, are rekindling unwanted memories of COVID-19 in Martin and other small towns in central Michigan.

The state has two of the four known cases in humans, all dairy workers, since federal authorities confirmed the world’s first case in U.S. cattle in late March. The state has tested more people than any of the 12 states with confirmed cases in cows, according to a Reuters survey of state health departments. Testing policies vary by state.

Public health experts fear the disease has the potential to turn into another pandemic just a few years after COVID-19. As those worries mount, the acceptance and success or failure of Michigan’s proactive response is being watched by other states looking for a roadmap that goes beyond federal containment recommendations.

More than a dozen interviews with Michigan producers, state health officials, researchers and industry groups, along with preliminary data, so far show limited dairy farmer participation in efforts to stem and study the virus. In some cases, calls from local health officials go unanswered, money for dairy farm research is left unclaimed, and workers still milk cows without extra protective gear.

Brian DeMann, a dairy farmer from Martin, Michigan, said the outbreak and state’s response recalls COVID-19. The 37-year-old believes Michigan’s rules to contain bird flu would be more widely accepted if they came as recommendations rather than requirements for farmers.

“Nobody knows if these things that we’re being told to do are going to stop it,” said DeMann, who echoed an uncertain view shared by other farmers. “Just like 2020, people didn’t like to be told what to do.”

This spring many U.S. dairy owners did not heed federal recommendations to offer more protective equipment to employees, according to farmers and workers. DeMann said he did not invest in new protective gear, such as masks, for his workers because it is unclear how the virus is spreading.

‘NEW THREAT’

Michigan’s agriculture department said it has up to 200 people responding to bird flu cases in poultry and cattle, including coordinating with USDA on outbreak investigations. Veterinarians in other states said they tracked Michigan’s cases to assess the risks for transmission.

“Michigan is doing a good job with their diagnostics and trying to identify where the disease is,” said Mike Martin, North Carolina’s state veterinarian.

Michigan’s outbreak in cows began after an infected Texas farm shipped cattle to Michigan in March before the virus was detected, according to USDA. Weeks later, a Michigan poultry farm also reported symptoms and tested positive. Whole genome sequencing suggested the virus spilled over from the dairy farm to the poultry flock.

USDA now thinks the virus has spread indirectly through people and vehicles moving on and off infected farms.

Michigan has plans to test dairy workers for signs of prior infections with first-in-the-nation blood testing.

The state has already monitored thousands of people for bird flu symptoms using a complex contact tracing system that texts them three times daily, said Chad Shaw, health officer for the Ionia County Health Department.

Some farmers remain reluctant to engage with local health authorities, though.

The Biden administration in late April began requiring lactating cows to test negative before being shipped over state lines.

Michigan went further and in May started requiring farms to keep logs of visitors, disinfect delivery trucks that could carry the virus, and take other safety steps. The state this month began requiring negative tests for non-lactating cows to be shown at fairs.

Colorado reported the nation’s fourth human case on July 3. The U.S. government awarded $176 million to Moderna to advance development of its bird flu vaccine for humans.

Two dozen companies are working on a vaccine for cattle, U.S Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said, as about 140 herds nationally have tested positive.

An 8-year-old Michigan boy saved his 6-year-old sister from a vicious dog attack that could have been fatal, according to her family.

Nicholas and Lillian were in their grandparents’ backyard in Saginaw when the dog next door, a pit bull, allegedly got through the neighbor’s fence “and made it into the backyard” where the two children were playing, Rebecca Chitwood, the children’s mother, told Fox News Digital.

“They did not know the dog,” Chitwood said, adding that the dog “had a history of escaping its property.”

The dog then attacked Lillian, biting the 6-year-old girl on her face and neck.

“She has several bites on her neck that were 3 cm. from severing the artery in her neck,” Chitwood said. “She also had her left eyelid repaired. Several sutures. And she has extensive nerve damage in her face.”

Nicholas stepped in to protect his little sister when he heard her scream.

“He jumped on the dog and pulled it off her and continued to kick it until her grandpa came to help,” Chitwood said of her son. “He was just trying to save his sister. He heard her let out a scream and … he jumped into action.”

Yeah, and the dog totally would have eaten her if he wouldn’t have intervened.

This kid deserves a presidential medal of some kind.

But he won’t get one because he’s white and not gay.

Two young siblings were killed and 13 other people were injured when a suspected drunk driver plowed through a children’s birthday at a Michigan boat club Saturday.

The horror unfolded around 3 p.m. when a 66-year-old woman crashed 25 feet through the Swan Creek Boat Club, where the kids and their parents were enjoying the festivities, Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough said.

“The scene was described by the first responders as extremely chaotic, with high level of emotions of those directly involved and those who witnessed this horrific incident,” he said.

An alarming video shows the woman’s blue SUV speeding through the club’s parking lot and smashing into the back wall of the building, narrowly missing a lamp post.

A plume of debris can be seen exploding out of the corner of the frame, cutting off the catastrophic damage the allegedly drunken woman caused.

An 8-year-old girl and her 5-year-old brother died at the scene, police said.

Three children and six adults were taken to area hospitals by two helicopters or ambulances, some with life-threatening injuries.

Why would a 66-year-old woman be out driving drunk?

This is just a normal woman driver.

James and Jennifer Crumbley, parents of Ethan Crumbley, who killed four students and shot seven others at Oxford High School in Michigan in 2021, were sentenced to 10-15 years in prison.

In separate trials, the Crumbleys were charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter. Each charge of involuntary manslaughter faces a punishment of up to 15 years in prison.

The conviction of the Crumbleys is the first time parents have been charged for a mass shooting carried out by their child. Legal experts say the ruling may set a new legal precedent about holding parents accountable for the actions of their children. Presiding Judge Cherly Matthews said the Crumbleys’ conviction should act as a deterrent in preventing future mass shootings.

“Opportunity knocked over and over again, louder and louder, and was ignored. No one answered and these two people should have and sure didn’t,” Matthews said. “These convictions confirm repeated acts or lack of acts that could have halted an oncoming runaway train.”

Prosecutors argued the Crumbleys ignored warning signs displayed by then-15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, who was sentenced in 2022 to life without parole.

The Crumbleys purchased for their son a Sig Sauer 9 mm handgun as an early Christmas present, and prosecutors proved the gun was not locked up properly.

On the morning of the mass shooting on Nov. 30, 2021, the Crumbleys met with the school’s guidance counselor to discuss the troubling behavior of their son. They were shown drawings Ethan Crumbley made of a pistol next to a figure with bullet wounds and phrases like “blood everywhere” and “help me, the thoughts won’t stop.” The Crumbleys didn’t share with the counselors they had purchased a gun for him.

Frankly, this is ridiculous and absurd.

You can’t punish parents for crimes of their kids.

This is more absurdity from the American system, which is no longer considered serious by anyone, anywhere.
