A Florida driver has been nabbed after he was caught on camera allegedly slashing a man with a huge machete in a wild road-rage attack, cops said.

Luis Ruiz-Herrera, 61, is accused of jumping out of his car with the massive blade while stuck in traffic at a Miami intersection late last week, the Miami Springs Police Department said Monday.

The shocking video, captured on another driver’s dashcam, showed Ruiz-Herrera suddenly lunging at the scooter-riding victim, who was stopped in the lane next to him.

Ruiz-Herrera then allegedly swung the machete — slicing the victim’s left cheek, according to cops and the footage.

The 15-year-old girl who was fatally stabbed in the neck with a foot-long knife on her way to school in suburban London was identified as student Elianne Andam as it was revealed the teen died protecting a friend from a lovelorn ex-boyfriend.

The suspect, identified only as a 17-year-old boy who was known to the victim, allegedly tried to give his former girlfriend, Andam’s friend, a bouquet of flowers on a No. 60 double-decker bus in Croydon Wednesday morning.

He sounds like a sweet boy.

But every sweet boy has a sour side.

That’s why they invented the machete.

As Andam, her friend, and the ex-boyfriend stepped off the bus at Wellesley Road around 8:30 a.m. local time, Andam was said to have stepped in between her friend and the boy to diffuse the situation.

That is when the enraged ex allegedly pulled out a black, thin knife and plunged its long blade into Andam’s neck.

“The blood was coming like water,” security guard Victor Asare, who witnessed the savage attack from a bus, told Sky News.

A bus driver and bystanders frantically tried to help the 15-year-old before paramedics arrived and took over the life-saving measures. But despite all their efforts, she died 40 minutes later.

Two of Andam’s friends had to be forcibly held back from going past the police barrier, with one of them quoted as screaming: “Is my friend dead? She is my best friend.”

Spanish authorities said they were investigating what they called a possible “terrorist” incident after a machete-wielding man attacked several people at two churches in the southern port city of Algeciras, killing at least one person.

The man attacked clergymen at two different churches – San Isidro and Nuestra Senora de La Palma, around 1,000 feet apart – just after 8 pm on Wednesday evening in downtown Algeciras, a spokesperson for the city said. A source at Madrid’s High Court said the incident was being investigated as terrorism.

Police said the attacker had been arrested, and a police source shared footage showing two officers escorting a man in a hooded sports top in handcuffs through a police station. Police have not released details of his name or nationality. Local media, including El Pais newspaper, said he was a 25-year-old Moroccan.

The man who was killed was Diego Valencia, a sacristan at the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church, while the titular priest of the parish church of San Isidro, Antonio Rodriguez, was among the injured and is in serious condition, the Algeciras city spokesperson said.

An unknown number of others were also injured. El Mundo newspaper reported that four people were hurt in the attack.

Police said the suspect first entered the San Isidro church and attacked Rodriguez. A statement by the Algeciras Salesians said Rodriguez, 74, had been celebrating Eucharist when he was attacked.

The assailant then went into the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church where he damaged property before attacking Valencia, who fled the church but was chased by the suspect, who inflicted further, fatal injuries on him outside, police said in a statement.

A lawyer was condemned for her ‘despicable’ suggestion yesterday that a heroic police officer should be disciplined for saving his life with a Taser during a vicious machete attack.

The row erupted as smirking Muhammad Rodwan, 56, was jailed for 16 years for attacking PC Stuart Outten after he stopped his white van because it was not insured.

But yesterday solicitor Sophie Khan, who has represented people injured by Taser and campaigns against excessive use of the weapon, defended the convicted criminal by saying he acted in ‘self defence’ in the face of ‘excessive force’ from PC Outten.

She wrote on Twitter she was surprised the Metropolitan Police ‘haven’t started disciplinary action against PC Outten for assault and battery on Muhammad Rodwan’.

She added the officer’s actions ‘were in part found to be an excessive use of force’ and that the case had shown ‘there remains a risk to public by police misuse of Taser’.

This is the chilling moment two young men armed with machetes faced each other in Newcastle city centre.

A court heard that an argument between Abdul Kefia and Twayne Bailey turned into a potentially fatal confrontation when Kefia pulled the blade from his hoodie.

CCTV footage then shows Bailey taking a large machete out of his friend’s rucksack before the two men faced up to each other.

Cameras recorded Kefia, 26, running towards Bailey, 21, while swinging his machete.

Newcastle Crown Court heard Bailey then threw his weapon in the direction of the older man in a desperate bid to stop him in his tracks.

And as the machete missed Kefia, landing on the road next to him, Bailey turned and fled the scene while being ‘chased’ by the older man, the court heard.
