Former CBS CEO Les Moonves, who resigned in September following a slew of sexual misconduct allegations made against him, “destroyed evidence” related to the case, according to a report released Tuesday night.

Moonves, 69, was trying to save his reputation at the network, and his multimillion-dollar severance package, when he “misled investigators” working on behalf of the company, The New York Timesreported, citing a 59-page report drafted for the CBS board.

The draft, according to The Times, said Moonves “engaged in multiple acts of serious nonconsensual sexual misconduct in and outside of the workplace, both before and after he came to CBS in 1995.”

Moonves resigned from the company after multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct in two New Yorker articles written by Ronan Farrow. Moonves said the accusations were “appalling” and false, but acknowledged having consensual relations with three of the woman before he started working at CBS.

The draft report, as seen by the Times in late November, reportedly included “previously undisclosed allegations of sexual misconduct.” Lawyers investigating the case described Moonves as “evasive and untruthful at times,” claiming that he “deliberately lied about and minimized the extent of his sexual misconduct” during the four times they spoke with him.

The document also reportedly included details regarding an accusation made by actress Bobbie Phillips, who claimed Moonves — at the time of the alleged encounter in 1995, he was president of Warner Bros Television — forced her to perform oral sex on him. The Times also first reported this alleged incident.

Investigators said they spoke to 11 of 17 women that had accused Moonves of misconduct and their allegations were deemed credible. Investigators also stated they believed CBS’s board “would have multiple bases upon which to conclude that the company was entitled to terminate Moonves for cause.”

A television production crew investigating the car break-in issue in San Francisco inadvertently played themselves when thieves broke into not just a bait car, but the camera crew’s vehicle as well.

Inside Edition, a CBS-affiliated news program, brought a car to Alamo Square with a Michael Kors purse and a $250 speaker in plain view inside. Both items had been fitted with GPS tracking devices. As anticipated, the car was broken into by a woman and a man soon after they parked. The crime, they later noted after reviewing footage, took about 20 seconds.

The two allegedly fled to a bus before ending up at the 16th Street Mission BART station, where Inside Edition Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero approached the man. Speaker still in hand, the man then attempted to head into BART.

“Five million people are gonna see you steal that,” Guerrero said on camera. “So you can choose to give it back or not.”

Five million people are going to see that you’re a hater of the skin color of dark-skinned persons of color, and set them up.

This show was clearly and obviously designed to make it look like black people are criminals, when the true reality is that they are good boys who are going to school and trying to get their lives back on track.

Longtime CBS chief executive Les Moonves, facing new claims of sexual misconduct, is about to step down as part of a wide-ranging corporate settlement of a separate fight for control of CBS.

The CBS board of directors is likely to announce the deal by Monday morning, according to three executives with direct knowledge of the matter.

Lawyers were said to be putting the finishing touches on the settlement on Sunday. Internally, it is being called a “global settlement,” meant to resolve months of litigation between Moonves and Shari Redstone, the controlling shareholder of CBS.

Moonves and Redstone were locked in a tug of war even before July 27, when Ronan Farrow first reported on alleged harassment by Moonves. The CBS board initially resisted calls for Moonves to be suspended or forced out.

But his continued leadership of CBS became “untenable,” one of the executives said.

With settlement talks already underway, Farrow published a followup story on Sunday. He wrote that “six additional women have accused the television executive of sexual misconduct, as the board of the CBS Corporation weighs the terms of his departure.”

The CBS board had already hired two law firms to do an investigation. Now the firms have even more to examine.

Somehow, he got through the first round.

So Ronan brought a second round.

CBS Chairman and CEO Les Moonves has been accused by at least six women of sexual harassment, in a culture allegedly shared by some top managers at the network, an exposé by The New Yorker has revealed.

Four of the six women told New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow that Moonves had tried to forcibly touch or kiss them, while the other two alleged victims revealed that the 68-year-old media executive, who played a significant part in the ongoing “Me Too” anti-harassment movement, attempted to physically intimidate them or threatened their careers.

One of the women, actress Ileana Douglas, who won an Emmy for Six Feet Under, described how Moonves tried to grab her and “violently kiss” her during a business meeting in 1997. “I couldn’t get him off me… the physicality of it was horrendous,” she said. “What it feels like to have someone hold you down—you can’t breathe, you can’t move.”

After his advances were not reciprocated, Moonves eventually fired the actress, telling her that she wouldn’t “get a f**king dime” of the money she was owed by the corporation, and that she would “never work at this network again.”

Another alleged victim, CBS producer Christine Peters, described how Moonves “put a hand up my skirt” to touch her underwear during another business meeting the executive had arranged. Moonves “was smart enough to not have anyone there. It was a setup,” Peters told the New Yorker.

Writer Janet Jones describes how Moonves “threw himself on top of [her]” in 1985. Following the incident, Moonves allegedly threatened the victim. “I’m warning you. I will ruin your career. You will never get a writing job. No one will hire you. Do you understand what I’m saying to you?” Jones recalled.

Other women interviewed by Farrow recalled similar encounters with the CEO, noting that the 68-year-old “physically intimidated them or threatened to derail their careers.”

Les Moonves, the head of CBS, which pays an average of about $1 billion a year to the NFL for rights, suspects the reason is that there’s now too much NFL on TV — it may have finally saturated the market.

“Have they sliced it and diced it too much? Is there too much product out there?” Moonves asked onstage Wednesday from the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit in San Francisco. “I really don’t know.”

He did mention a few other theories, the most popular of which is that the 2016 presidential election is stealing everyone’s attention. Other potential culprits: Injuries to and suspensions of popular players, and channels like the NFL Red Zone stealing the attention of fantasy football fans, he added.

“What happens with every failure in television, a motion picture, magazines — everybody has a hundred reasons for why it failed,” Moonves said.
